Penn Street, Belleville, passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at William Penn Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.  She was born on January 16, 1932 in Naginey, to the late Adam W. and Mary (Wagner) Fultz.  On September 18, 1948, she married Harold D. Penepacker, who preceded her in death on January 15, 2018.
She is survived by her children:  L. Jean Caldwell and husband David N. Horn of Belleville, Richard D. “Rick” Penepacker and wife Nancy of Belleville; three grandchildren:  Jennifer J. Wilson and husband Chris Wilson of Huntingdon, Jeremy S. Penepacker and wife Brook of Yeagertown, Erica L. Hargenrader of Belleville; great-grandchildren:  H. Dean Metzgar of Belleville, Kade A. and Kaleigh M. Penepacker, and Gabriel Clark; siblings:  Athalia G. Specht of Lewistown and Curtis Charles Fultz of Reedsville.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings: George Fultz, Sherman Fultz, Sylvia Cherry, Helen Zimmerman, Rebecca Burd, Marian Fultz, Nicholas Fultz and Hilda Elder.
She was primarily a homemaker.
She was a member of the Methodist Church in Reedsville and a member of the Civil Air Patrol.
She enjoyed bowling, square dancing, knitting, sewing, doing crafts, reading, and baking.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff and the Physical Therapy departments at William Penn Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center for the wonderful care our mother received.
There will be a graveside service at Juniata Memorial Park on Friday, May 3, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Mike Sigler officiating.  There will be a luncheon following the service at the West Kishacoquillas Presbyterian Church, 3820 West Main Street, Belleville.

She was born on February 9, 1936 in Lewistown to the late Bud and Mary (Knepp) Longwell.  She was the last of her immediate family.
Surviving is a son Robert “Bob” Longwell of Milroy and a niece Doreen L. Goss and husband Mark of Lewistown.
She retired from Scotty’s Fashions.
Phyllis most recently enjoyed putting puzzles together and in her earlier years, she enjoyed making crafts.

Obituary Preview: Robert C. Barnett, 86, of 77 Little Mountain Drive, Milroy, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, PA.
He was the son of late Clair C. and Sara Thelma (Mowery) Barnett.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter Tammy Berrier.
Surviving is his companion of 31 years, Deanna Birch; a daughter Lorre Sprout of Dauphin, PA; three grandchildren; 1 step-grandchild and one great-grandchild.
He was a graduate of Armagh-Brown High School and attended Juniata College.  He was a tremendous athlete, playing baseball and basketball in high school and baseball in college.
He was the former owner of Barnett’s Electric in Milroy, which was his father’s business, that he took over following his father’s retirement.  In their retirement, he and his companion became avid fishermen; they especially enjoyed going night fishing.  They also enjoyed going on mountain drives to see wildlife.  He was a wonderful handyman and did many renovations to their home through the years.

Obituary Preview: Carme G. Tressler, 83, of Milroy, PA, passed away at Greenwood Village in Lewistown on Monday, March 25, 2024.
He was born on April 8, 1940 in Milroy to the late Russell W. and Evelyn Mae (Knepp) Tressler.  On September 23, 1966, he married Connie Lee (Sunday) Tressler, who survives.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Carme Allen Tressler on June 5, 2023.
Along with his wife of 57 years, he is survived by children: Tonya Dumm and husband Rick of Lewistown, Rodney Hudson and wife Marcia of Reedsville, daughter-in-law Sherri Tressler of Milroy; grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Justin Tressler and wife Caitlyn of Maryland, Alison Goss, husband Matt and sons Tucker and Brodie of Lewistown, Joshua Hudson of Lock Haven, Brooke Peters, husband Trey and children Abigail and Thomas of Purcellville, VA, Nathan Hudson, wife Sarah and daughters Alayna and Kayley of Reedsville, Jordan Walters, wife Katie and son Weston of Enola, Jacob Walters, Jolee Walters and son Khai, Jenna Walters, all of Milroy.
He was a 1958 graduate of Kishacoquillas High School and a US Army Veteran.  He had worked at Fairmont Dairy/Dean Foods in Belleville, where he retired in 2004 after 31 years of service.
He was a life member of the Milroy Fire Company and a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Milroy.
In his younger years, he enjoyed rabbits.  After retirement, he enjoyed visiting the Milroy Shoe Shop and delivering the Bargain Shopper to his local friends and he also enjoyed playing parcheesi.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, April 5, 2024 at the Milroy Firehouse from 5 – 7 p.m.

Gary L Clark, Sr. - August 14, 1950 - March 15, 2024

Obituary Preview: Gary L. Clark, Sr., 73, of 3975 US Highway 522 North, Lewistown, went to be with his heavenly father at 5:11 p.m. on Friday, March 15, 2024 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville PA.
He was born on August 14, 1950 in Blossburg, PA to the late Frederick L. and Charlotte (Williamson) Clark.  On February 27, 1988, he married Elaine D. (Vonada) Clark, who survives at home.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Gary Clark, Jr. in 2003, and a brother David Clark.
Surviving along with his wife are children Kelly Jones and husband Jesse of Bradford, PA, William Anderson and wife L’Oreal of Newport; 4 grandchildren, Rodney Jones, Jasmine Wilson and husband Michael, Leeland and Lorelai Anderson; 3 great-grandchildren, Andrew, Gary and Dean Wilson; and a sister Jean Gilbert and husband Mark of Flint, Michigan.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1968-1979 and was in the Vietnam War from July 1969-1970.  He retired from Corning Glass in State College after 26 years of service.
He was a member of the VFW Post 7011 in Lewistown, serving on the Board of Trustees, as well as a member of the Brooklyn Hose Company #3 Social Club and Fraternal Order of Eagles #4294 in Burnham.
He was a very loving husband and loved spending time with his grandkids and great-grandkids as well as his friends. He had a great sense of humor and loved to tease people.  He loved shooting pool and loved his animals.  In previous years he was an avid hunter and fisherman.
There will be a memorial service held at the Wagner United Methodist Church, 6280 US 522N, McClure, PA, on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Josh Randolph officiating.

She was born on August 18, 1939 in Buffalo, NY, a daughter of the late Daniel and Margaret E. (Stephens) Maracle. On July 23, 1960, she married Rodney L. Alexander, who preceded her in death on May 30, 2016.
She is survived by: a son, William L. Alexander of Reedsville; a daughter, Beth Lynn Lawler of Pleasant Gap; three grandchildren, Katherine Murphy, Rebecca Murphy and Emily Lawler; two great-grandchildren, Jacoby Cassick and Roslyn Cassick; a brother, Leroy Maracle & wife Pamela of Dover, DE; and was loved by many nieces & nephews.
Along with her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Daniel Maracle, Jr. and Gene Raymond Maracle.
For a number of years, Phyllis was primary a homemaker. In 2004, she retired as a secretary for the Penn State University Theatre of Arts. She attended Grace United Methodist Church in Lewistown.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 17, 2024 at Henderson-Bohn Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., Reedsville, with Pastor Doug Pierce officiating. Burial will take place following the service at Church Hill Cemetery. Her viewing & a time for her family to receive friends will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home on Saturday.

She was born on March 7, 1953 in Lewistown to the late Warren A. and Mable Ruth (Wagner) Haines.  On November 2, 1974, she married Michael A. “Mike” LeMay, who preceded her in death on November 4, 2019.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Shawn David in 1975.
Surviving are children Ryan M. LeMay of Milroy, Amanda J. Koflanovich and husband Kevin, and children Kaya Jade and Levi Samuel Koflanovich of Wyoming, PA, siblings Carol L. Love and Joel of East Waterford, Bryan S. Haines and Maryann of Lewistown, Barbara J. Watkins and Gregory of Port Royal.
She was a 1971 graduate of Penn Highlands High School and attended Penn State University for three years majoring in Speech Therapy, followed by Rehabilitation Education.  She was employed by Fisher Electronics for five years and did private duty cleaning for residences and churches for over 25 years.
She was a Pentecostal by faith, nondenominational Ordained Pastor, and began a cell church – Church of I Am.
She enjoyed dancing, walking, and loves her animals, especially her cats, and enjoyed fostering animals, doing spiritual related activities including hosting the prayer walk.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2024 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Henderson-Bohn Funeral Home, 55 N. Main Street, Reedsville.  The funeral service will be held on Friday, February 9, 2024 at the funeral home at noon with Pastor Sean Moon officiating.  Burial will be at the Church Hill Cemetery in Reedsville.

Most recently he was employed as an auto mechanic.  He enjoyed hunting, riding his motorcycle, going camping and he loved being outdoors.

She was born on December 5, 1934 in Burnham, a daughter of the late Lester Fern and Jennie Marie (Smith) Kline.  Her loving husband of 68 years, Pastor George C. Moore, whom she married on December 18, 1955, survives at home.
She was preceded in death by four brothers:  Donald H. Kline, Charles E. Kline, Kenneth R. Kline, Robert E. Kline and two sisters:  Phyllis M. Freed and B. Ann Henry; brother-in-law, William W. Moore and sister-in-law:  Mary E. Miller.  She was the last of her immediate family.
Along with her husband, she is survived by brothers and sisters-in-law:  Paul M. Moore, Betty M. Kline, Robert E. Moore, James F. Moore, Ronald L. Moore and wife Svetlana and Florence Kline.
She attended the Reedsville High School, worked at Sankey’s Drug Store for a number of years.  Following that, worked as a bookkeeper for her husband’s excavation and garage business for over 50 years.  She was primarily a homemaker.
She was a Children’s Sunday school teacher at the CMA in Reedsville and Centre Union Church, where her husband preached.  She and her husband attended Barrville Mennonite Church.
She was a very loving and caring person.  She enjoyed doing puzzles, word search puzzles, she collected Longaberger baskets.  She was a born again Christian by faith.

McKnight, Jr. and wife Wendy of Shrader, Mark A. McKnight of Granville, Brian K. McKnight and wife Gina of McClure, Daniel W. McKnight and companion Sue LeFevre of Burnham, Robert E. McKnight and wife Kristie of Reedsville; 14 grandchildren, Michael Lucas, Anthony Damicantonio, Nathan Collins, Brittany Tate, Ashley Kosman, Danielle Gaisior, Mark McKnight, Jr., Angela Birch, Dani Moist, Cody McKnight, Lindsey Fortuna, Beth McKnight, Austin McKnight, Logan McKnight, and 21 great-grandchildren.  Also surviving are siblings:  David J. McKnight and wife Dorothy, Gail A. Packard and husband Donald, Larry A. McKnight and wife Brenda, Keith R. McKnight and wife Helen, Steven A. McKnight and wife Cindy, Kathleen D. McKnight, Audrey E. Bowersox, Jeffrey L. McKnight, Karen S. Campbell and husband Jim, Daryl S. McKnight, and Phyllis B. Rose and husband Ric.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, Bryan T. McKnight, a granddaughter Meranda McKnight, a great-grandson Mason Lucas, a brother Hilton M. “Mick” McKnight, Jr., a brother-in-law, Marvin Bowersox, and sisters-in-law Donata and Belinda McKnight.
He worked as a painter at J-Wood in Milroy, Village Kitchens in Milroy, and lastly at KRT Cabinets until his retirement.
He was a member of the Blue Rock Sportsman Club, Milroy, and the Shrader United Methodist Church.
He graduated from Kishacoquillas High School in 1960, where he loved participating in track and field events while in school.  He thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, hunting, fishing and also teaching his kids to hunt and fish.  He was a rescuer of wildlife and loved being in the outdoors and collecting old bottles.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2024, from 6 – 8 p.m., with the Funeral service on Friday, January 26, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Henderson-Bohn Funeral Home, 55 N. Main Street, Reedsville, PA  17084.

Dejong and husband Hans of Belleville; nieces and nephews:  Anthony S. Kratzer and wife Amanda of Lewistown, Alicia Heisey and husband Mike of Lancaster; 5 great-nieces and nephews, a great-great niece and a great-great nephew.
He graduated in 1980 from Kishacoquillas High School and was employed at Overhead Door for 28 years.
He loved playing bluegrass music and was an original member of Remington Ryde.  He played every year at the Blue Grass Festival in Reedsville and participated in workshops to teach children to play instruments.  He also enjoyed fixing cars, and getting together with family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at Henderson-Bohn Funeral Home, 55 N. Main Street, Reedsville, PA on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at 11 a.m.  There will be a visitation from 10 – 11 a.m. prior to the service.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by children: Robert R. Rosenberry, Jr. and wife Beverly of Reedsville, Tina Marie Smith of McClure, Gary L. Rosenberry and wife Rae of Mifflintown, Mary (Shannon) Bowers and husband Bill of Burnham; 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; a brother Donald Rosenberry and wife Judy of Wilmington, DE, and a sister, Peggy Mort of Lewistown.
In the past, he was employed at American Viscose, Avtex Fibers, and lastly he was a Sewage Enforcement Officer for various townships.
He was a member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish.  He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia Phillies fan and liked singing karaoke.

(Shank) Coffey, who survives at home.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter; a son-in-law Michael Rose; and sisters Donna Worley and Elaine Clark.
Surviving are children: Brenda Rose of Lewistown, Sandra Lagasee of West Palm Beach, FL, Wayde Coffey and wife Kimbra of Lewistown; 10 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great grandchildren, and a sister Patricia Coffey of Belleville.
He graduated in 1951 from Lewistown High School and was employed at Standard Steel as a mail boy.  He served in the U.S. Marine Corp from 1953-1956, then went back to the Standard Steel and retired in 1995 with 39 years of service.  He was a member of the VFW Post 7011 in Lewistown, and the Slim Walley Rot-N-Gun Club in Juniata County.
He enjoyed hunting, bowling, walking and running marathons, avid motorcycle rider with his wife until he was 85 years old.
A viewing will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024 from 10 - 11 a.m. with the funeral service following at 11 a.m.  at the Henderson-Bohn Funeral Home, 55 North Main Street, Reedsville, PA with Pastor Darryll Wireman officiating.  Burial will take place at the Woodlawn Cemetery, Milroy, PA.

Surviving are her son, Shawn Wolf of Lewistown, a grandson, Mason Wolf of Lewistown, and two sisters, Angela Lash and Lacey J. Lash, both of Milroy.
She was primarily a homemaker, she was first employed as a laborer with DCNR in Poe Valley and then the assistant manager at the CVS pharmacy in Burnham for 26 yrs.
She enjoyed spending time with her father and grandson.
There will be a viewing on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024 from 1 to 2 p.m., with a funeral service following at 2 p.m. with Pastor Jeff Buch officiating, at the Henderson-Bohn Funeral Home, 55 N. Main Street, Reedsville, PA. Burial will be held at the New Lancaster Valley Cemetery, Milroy.

He was born on May 5, 1947 in Lewistown to the late James R. and Mary E. (Radcliffe) Goodwin.  He married Connie (Herz) Goodwin, who survives at their home.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by children: Tim and wife Kim Finkler, Scott  and wife Sherry Finkler, Todd and wife Judi Finkler, Beth and husband Chris Heavrin, and Bobby and wife Brittany Goodwin; Grandchildren: Julia, Kate, Emily, Christopher, Noah, Eli, Ashton and husband Alan, Taylor and husband Chris, Sidney, Aidan, Adison, Abby, Bailey, Emily, Cameron, Bailey, and Brody; Great-Grandchildren Ellie, Emmett, Carter, Royal and Owen; a sister Vicki Ingram, and a sister-in-law Cindy and husband James Furey.
Bob graduated from Lewistown High School in 1965.  He was a 1st Lt. in The United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was awarded three bronze stars, but only accepted one. He graduated in 1973 from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Grace was born on January 17, 1930 to the late Merle A. and Ruth (Rhoades) Kuhns.  On April 12, 1950, she married Robert W. Reed, Sr., who preceded her in death on January 30, 2002.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her son, Robert W. Reed, Jr, a grandson Joshua Woods, a great-grandson Christopher Barger, and seven siblings.
Surviving are her children, Joan M. Treweek and husband Walter Treweek, Jr. of New Britain, PA, John E. Reed and wife Kathy of Lewistown, Mike E. Reed and wife Beth of Reedsville, Jane E. Neff and husband Danny of Mount Union, Jeanne E. Kanagy and husband Darvin of Reedsville, daughter-in-law Randa Feuchtenberger of Christianburg, VA, 18 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; siblings Dorothy Kuhns of Lewistown, Shirley Wert and husband John of Lewistown, and Paul “Pete” Kuhns and wife Bobbi of Milroy.
She was a graduate of Reedsville High School and was primarily a homemaker.  She was formerly employed at Fisher’s Electronics and Scotty’s Fashions.  She enjoyed making rugs and loved her little dog, Bella Rose.
There will be a funeral service on Friday, December 29, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Henderson-Bohn Funeral Home, 55 North Main Street, Reedsville.  Family will receive friends from 10 – 11 a.m. prior to the service.  Burial will take place at the Church Hill Cemetery.

She is survived by her children:  Mark A. Ostrosky of Coatesville, PA and Christine R. Kipp and husband Todd of Reedsville; three grandchildren:  Nicole Ostrosky of Philadelphia, Brandon Ostrosky of Coatesville, PA and Cody Kipp of Reedsville, and two nieces and two nephews.
She graduated from Cooper Township High School in 1947 and was primarily a homemaker, which she loved.
She was a member of the Reedsville Lutheran Church.  She enjoyed doing ceramics in her earlier years and loved to clean and enjoyed keeping her house cleaned and being a homemaker.
There will be a visitation at Henderson-Bohn Funeral Home, 55 North Main Street, Reedsville, on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m., a funeral service following at 11:30 a.m. with Carla Volland officiating.  The burial will follow the service at the Grassflat Lanse Lutheran Cemetery in Grassflat, PA.

Fultz and companion Miriam of Selinsgrove, Granddaughter Trista Hindman and husband, Jonathan of Shippensburg, sisters, Sara Hoover of Siglerville, Susan Shawver of McClure, sister-in-law, Donna Simonetti of Yeagertown and brother-in-law, Dave Hunter of Treaster Valley, as well as numerous special nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews that he referred to as “rednecks.”
Along with his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by two sisters, Patricia Speece and M. Kay Hunter, a brother, Larry T. Dippery and three brothers-in-law: Bill Hoover, Richard Speece and John Shawver, Jr.
He was a 1963 graduate of Kishacoquillas High School. He was first employed at Sitkins Industries, DeVecchis and Sons, followed by Jay-Wood and he retired from Donsco Foundry in Belleville, where he worked as a lift-truck operator.
He attended St Mark’s United Methodist Church in Havice Valley. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and being in the mountains and outdoors.
His services will be private and at the convenience of the family with Pastor Dale Benner officiating. Burial will be in the Salem Cemetery.

Gloria was employed at Nittany Oil/Shipley Energy for 15 years, retiring in 2005.  She enjoyed reading, doing word puzzles and word searches, and watching her Dallas Cowboys.

Kauffman III of Milroy, Charity Stuck and husband Shawn of Milroy and their sons, Ty & Collin Stuck, and four great-grandchildren, sisters: Esther Fisher of Delaware, Barbara Hetrick of Burnham, Judy Ann Patterson and husband Larry of Reedsville, and a sister-in-law Mary Kauffman of Kansas.   He is also survived by many special nieces and nephews.
He graduated in 1966 from Kishacoquillas High School and worked at Fisher’s Electronics for 30 plus years, until they closed in 1996. He then went to work at Agway in Belleville and retired from Agway in Mifflintown.  Most recently he taxied the Amish.  He was a member of the American Legion in Milroy.
He attended the Windy Hill Bible Church in Burnham. and enjoyed getting together and spending time with his family.  He also enjoyed traveling to Delaware to visit his sister and going to Honey Creek every morning with friends for breakfast.
There will be a memorial service held on Saturday, December 2, 2023 @ 10:30 a.m. at Henderson-Bohn Funeral Home, 55 N. Main Street, Reedsville, PA with Pastor John Reed officiating.  Burial will be at Locust Grove Cemetery in Belleville.

Rosenthall of Reedsville, Thomas Charles Hassinger and wife Melody of Milroy, Timothy Alan Hassinger and wife Renee of Milroy; grandchildren Nate Kauffman and wife Kristin, Matt Kauffman and wife Maddie, Paige Rosenthall, Claire Rosenthall, Adam Rosenthall, Zach Hassinger and wife Jasie, Katie Hassinger and fiancé Rhett Stetchock, Derek Yoder and wife Richelle, Ashton Hassinger and wife Tiff, Amanda Hassinger and fiancé Luke Vanderhoff, and four great-grandchildren.
She graduated in 1945 from Milroy High School, where she was in the marching band and played basketball.  She was employed at the Arrow Shirt Factory and Weis Markets, but was primarily a homemaker.
She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Siglerville and the Happy Hour Sunday School Class.
Things she enjoyed include cooking, helping with the church soup sales, going for walks, and playing cards with friends.  She loved to crochet and made all the grandchildren afghans.  Her family was very important to her.

Surviving are children Patricia “Trish” Zarkavich and husband Gary of Strodes Mills, Geraldine “Gerre” Wagner and husband Richard L. Wagner, Sr. of Siglerville, Robert Franklin “Frank” Maben, Jr. and wife Kelly of Belleville, 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, as well as many great-great grands and 3 great, great, great-grandchildren.
Violet attended Reedsville High School.  Earlier in life, she worked at Rice’s Grocery in Reedsville, then later on as an Operating Room Technician at Lewistown Hospital for 17 years.   She attended Reedsville CMA Church and Grace Covenant Church in Lewistown.
She enjoyed traveling to Ireland with her family and was always on the go.

He was born on Aug. 16, 1972, in Lewistown to Paula Carson of Reedsville. On July 30, 2001, he married his wife, Barbara J. (Watt) Hardy, who survives at home.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by two sons: Gage C. Hardy and Lucas A. Hardy, both at home, brother Sean Hardy of Altoona, a niece Madyson Agnone and husband, Anthony of State College, and an uncle, William “Tobe” Hardy and wife, Jio of Harrisburg.
He graduated in 1991 from Indian Valley High School, where he was very involved in athletics, he then attended Penn College of Technology and became certified in diesel mechanics and fleet management, graduating in 1993.
He currently served as Vice-President of Ameron Construction in State College, where he started working in 2005 and worked to the present. He belonged to the AMA-American Motorcycle Association.
His hobbies were riding dirt bike, mountain biking, side-by-side riding, shooting guns, camping, fishing boating, playing Xbox with his boys and spending time with family and friends. His boys were his world. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him, but he would always say, “I’m a legend”. Legends never die but live on in our hearts.

He was born on July 9, 1934 to the late Robert Shaw and Sarah L. (Emerick) Shaw.  On May 26, 1955, he married his wife Patricia Shaw, who preceded him in death on July 23, 2023.  In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Peggy Hefkin, Sally Stull and Judy Treaster.  He was the last of his immediate family.
Surviving are his daughters, Robin E. Cain of Reedsville and Tracey A. Boyer of Reedsville; four grandchildren, Brandon Kline and fiance’ Anna of Bloomsburg, Amanda Crosson and husband Aaron of Lewistown, Caitlyn Kucera & husband Steve of Middletown, Rebecca Bunch and husband Bryan of Lewistown; five great-grandchildren, Madison Boyer, Reily Kucera, Grayson Hileman, Jasper Berrier, and Jackson Bunch.
He graduated from Armagh-Brown in 1952.  He served in the U.S. Navy as a machinist mate 2nd class on the U.S.S. Frank E. Evans, serving from March 9, 1955 – March 5, 1959.  He was employed and retired from the Standard Steel in the tool crib of the Machine Shop.
A former member of Reedsville Lutheran Church, he served on the church council and served as President four times.  He was a Sunday school teacher and choir member.  He is a current member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lewistown, where he served as a choir member.
He enjoyed doing woodworking projects, gardening and later in life he enjoyed putting models together.  He loved to read and do crossword puzzles, and also enjoyed singing, and doing folk art painting on his woodworking projects.  He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, and loved having holiday meals with his whole family.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 3, 2023 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 120 North Main Street, Lewistown with Rev. Allen Hulslander officiating.  Family will receive friends from 1 – 2 p.m. prior to the service.  Burial will take place at the Church Hill Cemetery.
