Obituary Preview: Tamara (Tammy) Lynn Colvin, 62 of Findlay, Ohio went to be with the lord, May 2, 2024 on National Prayer Day at Bridge Hospice Care Center.
Tammy was born on June 8, 1961 to the late Max & Jane Hindinger of Mt. Blanchard.
She is survived by 2 brothers, Terry (Cheryl) Hindinger, Todd Hindinger; 1 sister Lisa (Chet) Melton; and 6 nieces and nephews, Bridget (Danny) King, Joe (Ellen) Francis and baby, Jyssica Dindal, Brooke Hindinger, Danielle Dindal, and Marcus Sheperd.
Tammy was a loving sister, daughter, aunt & friend whose presence warmed the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known her.
Tammy had her favorite charities she was compassionate about giving to, and she loved reading in her spare time as well as visiting with family and friends.
Tammy graduated from Riverdale High School in 1979, also working at Whirlpool for 32 years before retiring in 2015.
A celebration of live memorial service will be held at 1010 Bible Church, formally Maranatha Bible Church, 10965 SR 613, Van Buren, Ohio with Paster Jeff Topping officiating on Saturday May 25, 2024 from 2:00 pm-4:00 pm. A meal is planned following the service. Everyone is welcome to stay.

Betty Fritz - March 16, 1932 - April 27, 2024

Obituary Preview: Betty J. Fritz, 92, of Findlay, Ohio passed away April 27, 2024 at Primrose Retirement Community with her family at her side. She was born March 16, 1932 in Jasper, Indiana to the late Edwin and Margaret (Reckelhoff) Heeke. She married Don E. Fritz on May 1, 1952 and he preceded her in death on August 3, 2019 after 67 years of marriage.
In 1957, Betty and Don, along with his parents, moved to Findlay and opened the Western Auto Store that later became the Bike Emporium. Betty was a homemaker, involved in the business with Don and his parents, and also worked as a team leader at McDonald's.
Betty enjoyed many family trips to her hometown in Indiana, and vacations to Florida and Mackinac Island. She loved spending time with her family, sitting on her back porch, reading, challenging puzzles and word searches, and the annual Memorial Day parade that passed by her home. While at Primrose, she enjoyed friendship with her dining mates and caring staff, rosary at the chapel and watching the Cleveland Guardians baseball games.
Betty attended St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. She was a member of the Leo Councellettes and assisted with funeral lunches at the Knights of Columbus for many years.
She is survived by her children, Mike Fritz (Ann), Pam Leichty, and Suzan Eckert (Allen); grandchildren Casey Leichty (Megan), Corey Leichty (Andrea), Kari Jackson (Evan), Haley Kersting (Eric) and Curtis Eckert (Lauren); great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Josiah, Dean, Talon, Beckett, Lennox, Caroline, Leah, Fritz, Wells, Noah, Sawyer and Jackson. She is survived by sister Rosemary Wigand and preceded in death by sister Dorothy Korff and brothers-in-law Louie Korff and Linus Wigand.
The family would like to thank the staff at Primrose and Bridge Hospice for the care of their mother.
Visitation will be Friday, May 3, 2024 from 8:30-10 a.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Downtown Chapel, 617 W Main Cross Street, Findlay, Ohio, 45840 with funeral mass to follow. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Findlay. Jane Ellen Williams - August 13, 1943 - April 18, 2024

Obituary Preview: Jane Ellen Williams, 80, of Findlay, passed away on April 18, 2024 at 2:57pm, at Blanchard Valley Hospital. She was born on August 13, 1943, in Anderson, Indiana to John R. and Kathryn M. (Ratliff) Adams. Both parents have preceded her in death. She graduated from Anderson High school in 1961 and later graduated from Tiffin University in 1983.On October 19, 1962, she was married to Cordell (Cory) Clure Williams, who survives in Findlay. They shared 61 wonderful years together.
Jane was a bookkeeper, and was employed at Acme Beverage and O.H. Materials. She adored her family, and truly enjoyed spending time with them. She was an animal lover, and enjoyed crochet, and needlework. She was a member of Church of Christ.
In addition to Cordell, Jane is survived by her children, Nana (Dave) Flick, John (Toni) Williams, Jeffrey (Kim) Williams, and Cory (Sabrina) Williams. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and ten great­ grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Ann Lowe.
Friends may call at HANNEMAN FUNERAL HOME, 201 Osborn Ave., Findlay Ohio 45840 on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, from 11 am to 1 pm and a service will take place, officiated by Pastor Glenn Hammons at 1pm.

Obituary Preview: Joan Shoffner (Manns), age 64 of Kenton, passed away peacefully, Tuesday April 2, 2024, surrounded by loved ones, in the care of Bridge Hospice in Findlay.  Joan was born the youngest of nine children to the late Thomas and Louise (Culp) Shoffner.
She is survived by her children, her beloved Daughter, Amanda (Brian) Keller and son Matthew Manns, pride of her life, Grandson, Kale House and step grandchildren, Brian, Kaydence, & Liam Keller, two brothers, Charles (Ruth) Shoffner, Timothy (Alene) Shoffner, one sister, Kathryn Newman, sister-in-law Dixie Shoffner, her Best Friend of 53 years, Melissa Ferguson, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Joan was preceded in death by brother Robert Shoffner and sisters Loretta Richardson, Sally Harold, Barbara Chance, and Mary Wolf.
Joan was a 1977 graduate of Ridgemont High School. She retired from Ohio Hi Point Career Center where she worked for 34 years. She was lifelong fan of Donny Osmond and The Ohio State Buckeyes. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, stalking the Osmond's, traveling, and playing Mah Jong.
A celebration of life will be held, Saturday, May 11th, 2024 at the Kenton Moose from 2pm-6pm.

Obituary Preview: John S. Waldsmith, 79, of Findlay, Ohio and formerly of Akron, Ohio passed away March 29, 2024.
Considered one of America’s foremost authorities of the study and curation of antique photography, John S. Waldsmith died at the age of 79 on March 29 at The Manor at Greendale, Findlay. John was co-founder of the National Stereoscopic Association, creator of the organization’s Stereo World Magazine and the publication’s editor for its first seven years. He organized the association’s first national conventions and later served as NSA’s Activities Vice President. Following his involvement with the NSA, John was a dealer in antique photography, author of “Stereo Views: An Illustrated History & Price Guide” and other books, including, “Mementoes of Home: The Photographic Legacy of A.F. Styles.” John was instrumental in renewed interest in Ohio photographer H.G. Olds, revered for a series of photographic expeditions in Argentina from 1900 to 1927. John is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Lois Waldsmith, his wife, Janet Lee Vanselow Waldsmith, and his brother and sister-in-law, David and Patricia Fletcher Waldsmith. He is survived by brothers and sisters-in-law, James (Marilyn) Waldsmith, Thomas (Judy) Waldsmith, nieces, nephews and cousin, Margaret Baird. On behalf of John’s family and many friends, we are comforted by the knowledge that this gentle man made our world a better place through his many loving acts of selfless kindness.

Lela Joan Hunt - October 29, 1932 - March 27, 2024

Obituary Preview: While the essence of her smile is gone, and a rare excellent person has departed this life, Joan’s smile will always be with us.   What a joy it has been to share this life with her.
Joan (Osenbaugh) Hunt was born in Deshler, Ohio on October 29th, 1932, to Arthur H and Loa B. (Clymer) Osenbaugh.  She attended Deshler Local School system and Stautzenberger Community College.  She worked for Sylvania Electric Company where she met and married Patrick D. Hunt on April 7th, 1957.  She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Patrick, along with two children, Kimberly A Hunt-Brown (Joe), Rio Rancho, New Mexico, and David A Hunt (Heather), Findlay, Ohio. A nephew Tom Adams (Rebecca) of Port Townsend, Washington, and niece Dedi Spoores (Craig) of Grand Rapids, Ohio also survive.   Joan was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her brother, Woodrow Winn of Flagstaff, Arizona, and sister Betty Adams (Ralph) of Bowling Green, Ohio.
Joan gave an extensive volunteer service to Hancock County during which she gave much and asked for little.  She volunteered with Van Buren Local Schools, where she led the Band Boosters food tent at the Hancock County Fair for many years. She was a member of the Mariners club of The First Presbyterian Church and volunteered with Read for Life, The Girl Scouts, Camp Fire Girls, 4-H, YMCA, Findlay Hancock Country Public Library, and the First Presbyterian Church bell choir.  She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church for more than 50 years.
She and Patrick were volunteers at the Northwestern Ohio Railroad Preservation.  They loved traveling the world as well as spending time building and restoring windmills for Patrick’s Second Wind windmill business.   They were also avid hockey fans, suffering through many games watching Heather and David trying to play in Findlay Men’s Hockey League, as well as watching the Columbus Blue Jackets.   They also enjoyed the Detroit Tigers and the Detroit Red Wings.
The family would like to thank The Heritage Nursing Home and Bridge Home Hospice for their gentle care of the whole family for these last 18 months.  In honor of Joan’s wonderful life, the family requests memorials be made to Bridge Home Hospice.
The family will receive visitation from 4pm-6pm on April 1st at Hanneman Funeral Home in Findlay with interment at Bright Cemetery, Marion Township Tuesday April 2, at 11:00 am, conducted by Pastor Jessica Commeret.
She has passed away and awaits us beyond this life.

John Fulcher - April 05, 1957 - February 23, 2024

Obituary Preview: John Kenneth Fulcher, 66, of Findlay, passed away on Friday Feb. 23, 2024.
He was born on April 5, 1957 in Passaic, New Jersey to Richard and Lucy (Chiarella) Fulcher. He married Jean Kyle on July 18, 1981, in Akron, Ohio, and she preceded him in death on Nov. 17, 2016. He married Becky Myers on May 26, 2019, in Findlay, Ohio.
John is survived by his wife, Becky; mother, Lucy; daughter, Katherine (Kevin) Kline of Dublin, Ireland; son, Michael (Krysten) Fulcher of North Saint Paul, Minnesota; five grandchildren, Finn, Mallory, John, Marie, Paul; brothers Richard (Pat) Fulcher, Mark (Lina) Fulcher; sister Mary Lou (Steve) Focht; mothers-in-law, Mary Ann Kyle and Kay Myers; and brothers-in-law, Edward (Holly) Kyle, Matthew (Kimberly) Myers, Jeromie Myers; and sister-in-law Heather (Thad) Davidson.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean; father, Richard; and fathers-in-law Dr. John Kyle and Ronald Myers.
John had a technical mind, a goofy sense of humor, and a big heart. He held a BS in Metallurgy from the University of Notre Dame and a Masters in Engineering from the University of Chicago. John was a manufacturing engineer for multiple companies before coming to Findlay where he was a beloved face at the Whirlpool plant for many years. John showed love and care to all he encountered. As a father, he coached every sport and always helped his children with school projects. He was a dedicated math teacher through Owens Community College, creating off-the-wall word problems to keep his students, and himself, entertained. When his wife of 35 years, Jean, became ill, John became her dedicated caregiver until her passing. He had an incredibly joy-filled last five years with his beloved wife Becky. Following retirement, John began meticulously tracing family history, sharing intricate and intriguing stories of ancestors' past. He was tickled by pink lawn flamingos and yellow VW Bugs.
John was passionate about his family, always wanting to make everyone around him laugh. For many years he took time to travel with Becky to Europe, Iceland, Canada, and the Caribbean, oftentimes meeting Kate and Kevin. John and Becky also enjoyed special visits to Minnesota to spend time with their grandchildren, toting novel treats, books, and toys to share with them.

Clark is also survived by his children: Michael Phillips of Fostoria, Christy (Rod) Hedrick of Fostoria, Brent Davis of Findlay and Bryce Pitney of Findlay; grandchildren: Alicia (Hugo) Garcia and David (Amber) Delacruz; great-grandchildren: Isaac, Tristan and Samantha Garcia and siblings: Deborah Phillips, Gary Phillips and Andy (Deb) Phillips.
Clark was a graduate of Findlay High School and retired from Ball Metal in Findlay. Clark enjoyed bowling and taking rides on his motorcycle. Clark had a strong work ethic and was the type of individual who would help anyone in a time of need. He had a heart of gold and was very generous and kind to those he came in contact with. More than anything, Clark loved his family and cherished every moment he had to spend with them. Magdalena D Lopez - June 29, 1952 - February 02, 2024

Obituary Preview: With profound sadness we announce the passing of Magdalena "Maggie" D. Lopez, an amazing wife, loving mother, sister and friend to all whose lives she touched. She left this world suddenly on February 2nd, 2024 at the age of 71 or "49" like she liked to say.
Maggie is survived by her loving husband, Tracy Lopez. Tracy and Maggie met each other at work 31 years ago. She always said he wore her down to go on a date because he brought her an apple every day. They were married on November 13th, 1994 in Wayne Ohio. During their 29 years of marriage, they created an amazing life together from raising children to owning businesses.
Anyone who knew Maggie knew she was a believer in our Lord Jesus Christ. She lived her life serving him daily with deep faith. Maggie loved deeply and would do anything she could to help anyone in need. She was a strong independent woman who made sure to raise her daughters to be the same. Maggie had a silly sense of humor and was always laughing with her family. She was known to make an inappropriate joke here and there. It was also widely known that she would take your picture at the worst possible moments such as eating or sneezing. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and especially her dogs, Miley, Jack, and Cooper.
She was the beloved mother of Victoria (Aaron), Jessica (Walter), Diana (David), Jacob (Melinda), and Erika. Proud grandmother of Kaydin, La'Jacia, James, Cienna, Urijah, Teddy, Kellen, Alixandra and Adrianna. Loving sister to Amelia (Robert) Valle, Alice (Steve) Fortney, Irene (Stan) Zbierajewski, Lolly Zavaleta, (Christine), Edward (Susan) Belmares, and Mary Ann McMillian.
Preceded in death by her parents Bentura & Jesusita Belmares, brothers David Belmares, Robert Belmares, Walter Belmares and sister Margie Belmares.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 7th, 2024 from 4-7pm at Hanneman Funeral Home, 201 Osborn Ave. Findlay, Ohio 45840. Maggie's Celebration of Life Service will be on Thursday, February 8th, 2024 at 11am in the funeral home.

Jerry was born on May 26, 1936 in Findlay to the late Stanley and Mabel (Bower) Fletcher. He married the love of his life Lois Farlee on December 21, 1957 in the Howard United Methodist Church in Findlay and she preceded him in death on October 13, 2022 after 64 years of marriage. Jerry is survived by his three daughters: Shelley Fletcher of Findlay, Ohio, Debra (Robert) Creed of Canton, Michigan and Sara (Chris) Gomez of Van Buren, Ohio; grandchildren: Eric and Sean (Monica) LeBay, Alicia (Ryan) Paree, Phillip (Krystina) Creed, Christopher Fletcher and Tyler (Lindsay) Gomez; thirteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; siblings: Jerretta Clapp and a host of loving nieces and nephews. Jerry was also preceded in death by his son Michael Fletcher and grandchildren: Jason LeBay, Matthew Gomez and Kathryn Creed; brothers: Thomas Fletcher, Theodore Fletcher and his step father David Franklin Milliron.
Jerry proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp and United States Navy. He was a faithful member of the Howard United Methodist Church in Findlay. Jerry retired from Hyway Trucking in 2002. Jerry was a friendly and caring individual, who never met a stranger. Jerry will be missed by all that knew him.
Services for Jerry will be private for his family.

Laura worked as an Administrative Assistant for Marathon and also assisted in the Mail Room, where she developed many friendships. She was a member of Parkview Christian Church in Findlay. Laura was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan and enjoyed watching Supernatural on television. Laura brought joy and laughter into the lives of those around her. She lived a vibrant life, navigating the challenges with her unwavering determination and infectious enthusiasm. Laura devoted her time to her family, where she cherished the family gatherings and playing a good card game of Rook. Laura's presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Dick was born on June 25,1931, in Hancock County, Ohio.  He married Virginia Vanvo and they later divorced, he then married Charlotte Arnold and they later divorced, he then married Vivian Brown, and they later divorced, and he married Janet Harmon and they later divorced.
Dick was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Harriett (Nusser) Powell, his stepmother Mary (Crozier) Powell, and his siblings Bob Flemming, Toby Flemming, Nell Woodruff, twin brother Dave Powell, Saundra Franklin and Sharon Dietsch, his son in-law William Hamilton, an infant daughter Kathy, two grandchildren, and one 1 great-grandchild.
Dick is survived by his sister Nancy (Steve Mellott) Powell.  Also, his children Rick Powell, Dale Powell, Kathie Hamilton, Nile (Bob) Powell, Rhonda George, James (Lorena) Powell, John Henschen, Tammy (Jeff) Stahl, Cindy Long, godson Michael Sowers, and numerous loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Dick was a graduate of Van Buren High School, where he played on the football team.  He also played baseball for the Findlay Merchants.  Dick proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War.  He enjoyed being outdoors, whether it was fishing, trapping, or hunting.  He also enjoyed spending time with his closest friends John Woodruff, Eugene Underferth, Michael Sowers, Jimmy Rader, and Paul Hamlin driving around Hancock County looking at deer while drinking coffee, stopping at garage sales, and having their own garage sales.  Dick was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes and Pittsburg Steelers fan. Dick’s true love was his family where he genuinely enjoyed coaching Midget football teams and watching all his grandchildren, nieces and nephews play a variety of sports throughout the years.  He truly cherished the time he spent with all his family.
Visitation will be on Monday, January 15, 2024, from 9:00a.m. to 11:00a.m. at the Hanneman Funeral Home, 201 Osborn Ave., Findlay, OH 45840, followed by A Celebration of Life Service at 11:00a.m. Military honors will be rendered at the conclusion of the service by the Hancock County Memorial Squad.  Officiating will be Dick’s nephew, Mr. Heath Mellott.

Maridell was born on August 8, 1939 in Findlay, Ohio to the late Virgil and Guynath (Gilliand) Hite. Maridell met the love of her life William “Bill” Gault on a blind date on May 9, 1959 at a Youth for Christ event and they were married on December 23, 1959 and he survives in Findlay after 64 wonderful years of marriage. Maridell is also survived by her children: James (Beth) Gault, Deborah Gault, Elisabeth Gault and David (Teresa) Gault; grandchildren: Amanda, Matthew, Ming, Nina, Christopher and Hunter; great-grandchildren: Joan, Willie, Carmen and Mason. She was preceded in death by her brother Jimmie Hite.
Maridell was a servant of the Lord. She was a faithful member of the Upper Room Church of God and prior to that was a longtime member of East Foulke Avenue Church of God and StoneBridge Church and was a vital part of the beginning of CHOPIN Hall, helping those in a time of need. Maridell and Bill were members of the Pioneer Auto Club for 55 years, as well as the Crosley Automotive Club for 45 years. They enjoyed camping, where they made it to 49 of the states traveling, especially anywhere she can place her feet in water, whether it was in the ocean or a stream and stopping and smelling the flowers. She enjoyed having people over to her home for Tea parties and was a member of the Fort Findlay Doll and Bear Fanciers for 40 years. More than anything, Maridell was a loving, caring, compassionate and devoted individual who loved her family  and friends dearly.
Visitation will be on Monday, January 8, 2024 from 3:00-7:00 PM in the Hanneman Funeral Home, 201 Osborn Ave., Findlay, Ohio 45840. Maridell’s Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the Upper Room Church of God, 520 W. George was born January 19, 1937 in Rochester, NY.  He was raised by his mother and stepfather Gladys (Smith) and Evert Hermann.  George grew up in Bromley, Kentucky, graduating from Dixie Heights High School.  He was drafted into the US Army in 1961 and served at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville. AL.   In April of 1964 he married Joyce Trame and they later divorced.  He married Jane Elwood in Lima, Ohio on January 23, 1993.
George had a long career in the crude oil pipeline industry and was very proud to have worked for Mid Valley Pipeline Company for 36 years. During his career, he lived and worked all across the southern United States including Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Kentucky. He ended his career as a terminal foreman in Lima, OH before moving to Findlay. He resided in Findlay for 27 years, the longest of any of the places he lived.
George is survived by his wife, Jane (Elwood) Fletcher; children Kevin (Chris) Fletcher, Kyle Fletcher, Kurtis (Kirsten) Fletcher, Kimberlee (Nick) Wurst, Shelby (Alex) Ervin; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; and niece Linda (Jerry) Webb.
George was preceded in death by his parents, brother James Fletcher, and sister Kate Kinman.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Hanneman Funeral Home, Findlay. Visitation will be held Thursday December 28, 4:00 - 7:00 pm.  A Celebration of Life will be held at Hanneman Funeral Home in Findlay, Ohio on Friday December 29 at 11:00 am with visitation one hour before the service.

Vivian was born on March 24, 1937 in Vanlue, Ohio to the late Milford “Cotty” and Leona (Bayless) Crawford. She married Dan Umbs and they later divorced. She then married Marvin Lee in February of 1996 and he survives. Also surviving are her sons: Michael (Sheila) Umbs and Joseph (Mary) Umbs; step-children: Douglas (Toni) Lee and Brenda Collett; grandchildren: Sonja (Brandon) Daniels, Gabrielle (Andrew) Peterson, Mikaela (Jacob) Collins, Moriah (Roderick) Bowdle, Grant Umbs, Kyle (Erin) Umbs, Cody, Umbs, Aaron, Derrick, Amanda and Spencer Lee and Dillon and Shane Collett and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Phillip Umbs and a sister Joan (Neil) Ward.
Growing up in Vanlue, Ohio, Vivian and her family moved to Mt. Blanchard in her teenage years. She attended and graduated from Mt. Blanchard High School in 1955. She then enrolled in the nursing program at Lima Memorial Hospital where she became a Registered Nurse. She went on to work for numerous local physicians until she began her career as an Obstetrical Labor and Delivery Nurse at Blanchard Valley Hospital, where she helped deliver hundreds and hundreds of babies in 36 years, until her retirement. Vivian was a faithful member of the Howard United Methodist Church, where she participated in many of the ministries such as after school tutoring, Sunday School and special music and actively attending the Lakeside Annual Conference as a representative of the church. Vivian had a love for being at the lake, basking in the sunshine, listening to the waves of the water and the serenity of peacefulness while she made Y-Condo in Port Clinton her summer getaway. She also loved to travel! She and Marvin travel throughout the entire United States and to places all over the world. She was also an avid skier, and loved to travel to Colorado where she enjoyed the adventure of the most challenging ski slopes even up to the age of 80 years old. She chuckled when she found out that at 80 yearhs old, she could ski for free!  Vivian had a great sense of humor, and her laughter to lighten up the room. But more than anything. Vivian loved her family and cherished the time she spent with them.
Visitation for Vivian will be on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 from 10:00 until the time of her Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 AM in the Hanneman Funeral Home, 201 Osborn Ave., Findlay, Ohio 45840, with Lay Minster Marianne Higley, officiating. Interment will follow in the Zion Bloom Cemetery.

Obituary Preview: William (Bill) G. Cunningham, 89, of Findlay, OH, passed away peacefully at The Manor at Greendale under the care of Bridge Hospice. Bill was born on September 17, 1934 in Culmerville, PA. He was the second oldest of four children born to Hugh R. and Sarah Edna (Catherwood) Cunningham. He married Erika Obert in Frankfurt, Germany and they later divorced. Bill was a proud veteran of the US Air Force, in which he joined in 1954 and was honorably discharged in 1974. He started out as a flight mechanic and worked on General Eisenhower's plane, the Columbine III (C-121), and President Truman's plane, The Independence (C-118). Through his time in the service, Bill saw many parts of the world, including, Japan, Germany, Belgian Congo, and Thailand (during the Vietnam War). He became a flight engineer on C-118’s and flew the Air Force Inspector General to many Air Force Bases in countries such as Australia, Japan, Germany and England. After he was discharged from the Air Force, he moved his family to Findlay, OH. He was employed by Air Products in North Baltimore, OH and later was self-employed until retirement. Bill is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Annette (Woo) Cunningham of Centerville, OH; his daughter and son-in-law, Christine and James Boniface of Poland, OH; three grandchildren, Laura Boniface of New York City, NY, James Boniface of Hermosa Beach, CA, and Katherine Boniface of Santa Monica, CA. His sister, Jane Scheerbaum of Tarentum, PA and his brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Janice (Hazlett) Cunningham of Cabot, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Darwin Cunningham. Bill will be cremated and laid to rest at the Dayton National Cemetery with military honors followed by a private family ceremony. Ronald M Gillogly - May 09, 1932 - December 05, 2023

Ronald was born on May 9, 1932 in Findlay, Ohio to the late Raymond and Amanda (Walter, Ellinwood) Gillogly. He was also preceded in death by his half-brother Raymond D. Ellinwood and a half sister Dorthy May (Ellinwood) Lively. Ronald is survived by his wife Dortha Jean (Greene, Entsminger) Gillogly whom he married November 23, 1960. He was previously married to the late Rosemary Ward, having two children; a daughter Deborah (Jim) Spurr and Randy (Brenda) Gillogy. Also surviving is a son Jeffrey (Christine) Gillogly; step-sons: Gary (Laney) and Brad (Kathy) Entsminger; 8 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Of the memories Ronald had, several stood out that he shared when he had a chance. One was when he and his neighbor friend, the late Myrel Mallory were 16 and hitch hiked to the Grand Canyon in Arizona during the summer school vacation of 1948, sleeping out at night, arriving at the canyon, walking down the trail and sleeping with the Hopi Indians overnight, then walking back to the top the next day.
The most he loved to share was when on November 26, 1981 (Thanksgiving day) when Ronald, his wife and son Jeff accepted Jesus Chris as their Lord and Savior. Ronald retired from Bluffton Paving (formerly Conrad Bros) in 1994 where he was a heavy equipment operator for twenty-eight years. Ronald was on the Findlay Police Department from 1954-1963. He served on the village council of Mt Cory for a short term before being elected Mayor in 1970 til 1978 and then again from 2000-2004.
Ronald retired from the National Guard in 1976 which he first joined in 1948. He enlisted in the Army in 1949 serving in the "Old Guard" 3rd Inf Regt, Washington D.C. When the Korean War started, Ronald volunteered for Korea seeing combat with the 24 Inf Division, after nine months, Ronald was selected from twenty four other service men from various divisions as one of the two to serve with the honor guard silent drill team from General Van Fleet, 8th Army HQ in Seoul. Upon being discharged from the regular army, he reenlisted in the Findlay Guard Unit (Company C) in 1954 from being activated for federal duty. He stayed with the Guard unit until his retirement in 1976 as a Platoon Sgt (E-7).
Visitation for Ronald will be on Friday, December 8, 2023 from 10:00 until the time of his Celebration of Life Service at 12:00 PM in the Hanneman Funeral Home, 201 Osborn Ave., Findlay, Ohio 45850, with Pastor Mike Noggle, officiating. Duang was a loving and kind-hearted woman who brought warmth and joy to the lives of those around her. Duang was a woman of many talents and passions. She possessed an incredible skill for crochet and sewing, creating beautiful and intricate pieces that carried a piece of her heart and artistry. Her green thumb was renowned, with a love for gardening that allowed her to cultivate stunning and vibrant landscapes that mirrored her own infectious happiness. One of the most admirable qualities about Duang was her unwavering devotion to her family. She was a devoted mother to her sons, Aaron, Songkam and Van, and her grandchildren: Oaklynn Grace, Silias Kam and Weston Sage who meant the world to her. Duang's nurturing and caring nature were apparent in everything she did, as she always went above and beyond to ensure the happiness and well-being of her loved ones. Her thoughtfulness and generosity touched the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to know her. Duang will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved and cherished her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and selflessness will continue to inspire and guide us, reminding us to hold onto the precious moments we shared with her.

Peter proudly served his country the United States Air Force, with honor and dedication. After his service, he pursued his passion for art and photography, earning a master's degree from Bowling Green State University. Peter's talent and creativity in graphic arts and photography were unparalleled, and his work captured the beauty of nature and the world around him.
He found solace outdoors, appreciating the wonders of nature. Peter also had a successful career as the owner and operator of Schoolhouse Graphics. His drawings of custom hot rod cars were phenomenal. His dedication and passion for his graphic design left an indelible mark.

Debra's presence brought warmth, laughter, and an incredible sense of love. In addition to her love for puzzles, Debra was a true free spirit. She embraced life with an open heart and an unyielding desire to experience its wonders. Her creativity knew no bounds as she explored various artistic expressions, unleashing her imagination upon the canvas. Her artwork radiated her vibrant personality and left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of viewing it.
