Obituary Preview: Mrs. Anna Jane Williams, age 71, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Monday, April 18, 2022, at her residence.  She was born August 16, 1950, the daughter of William Nicholas and Irma Rose (Knott) Hardesty.  Jane was a longtime employee of MARC in Brandenburg.  She loved spending time with her family and always made them her highest priority.
Jane was preceded in death by her father; and her son, Jonathon Williams.  She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Ronnie Williams; three sons, Kevin (Margaret) Williams, Chuck (Cathy) Williams, and Darren (Lori) Williams; five grandchildren, Blake, Sara, Ryder, Jace and Roni; her mother, Irma Rose Hardesty; her sister, Carolyn (Robert) Flatt; four brothers, Danny (Belinda) Hardesty, Lee (Peggy) Hardesty, Lamar (Sue) Hardesty and Kenny Hardesty; her special sister-in-law and caregiver, Charlotte; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at St.Theresa of Avila Catholic Church, with Rev. George Illakkal officiating.  Public visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Saturday, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home.  A prayer service will be held at 1:00 PM at the funeral home officiated by Rev. Ronald Knott.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to MARC, or to the American Cancer Society.

Obituary Preview: Mr. Jacob Michael “Jake” Lancaster, age 38, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Monday, April 11, 2022, at his residence.  He was a mechanic by trade.  Jake had many interests that included writing music, singing, and drawing.  He was drawn to kids and loved umpiring Little League Baseball at Ramsey Field and  Meade Olin Park. He was an avid sports fan, especially the Louisville Cardinals and Dallas Cowboys.
Jake was preceded in death by his father, Michael Lancaster; his paternal grandfather, Doc Lancaster; and his maternal grandparents, Barbara Keeling and Butch Nichols.  He is survived by his grandmother, Mary Ann Lancaster; three brothers, Josh Lancaster, Jesse Lancaster, Sr. and Chaz Lancaster; his sister, Kristal Berry; his mother, Dottie Dowell; his step mother, Pamela Lancaster; his aunt and uncle, Nellie and Carson Mattingly; five nephews, Jesse Jr., Devin, Liam, Kayden and Aiden Lancaster; his niece, Annaleigh Lancaster; and numerous friends.

Obituary Preview: Mr. William Wayne Martin, age 80, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Friday, April 8, 2022, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY.  He was born on February 24, 1942, the son of William and Evelyn Rebecca (Basham) Martin.  Wayne was a veteran of the United States Air Force, and a member of New Brandenburg Southern Baptist Church.  He was a devoted father, grandfather, and friend.  He was always on the go, doing the things he loved such as: playing cards, dancing, visiting with neighbors and friends and attending church.  Wayne always loved spending time with his family and watching his grandkids thrive in their numerous activities.  He was always willing to help anyone with anything, and always had a genuine smile on his face.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife of 38 years, Theresa Martin; two sisters, Dorothy Evelyn Riggs and Faye Stinnett; and his brother-in-law, Pat Hughes.  He is survived by three daughters, Cindy Miller, Irvington, KY, Fay Knott and her husband, Jason, Flaherty, KY, and Jean Barger and her husband, Jamie, Guston, KY; five grandchildren, Cody Miller, Jaycie and Jaxson Barger, and Brady and Brenna Knott; his sister, Sue Lowing, MI; his sister-in-law, Carol Sanchez and her husband, Juan, Indianapolis, IN; his brother-in-law, Jon Hughes and his wife, Karla, GA; his aunt, Libby Leibert, TX; and his special friend, Mary Plemmons, Irvington, KY.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at the New Brandenburg Southern Baptist Church, with Revs. Tim Harris, Bob Davis, and Tom Bridge officiating.  Burial, with military honors, will follow in Cap Anderson Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at the church from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, and from 9:00 AM until the time of service on Wednesday.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to New Brandenburg Southern Baptist Church.

Kelly, age 80, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Friday, April 8, 2022, at Kindred hospital in Louisville, KY.  Faye was born January 28, 1942, the daughter of Willie Burt and Kathleen (Wages) Duke.  She had many interests in her life.  Faye was a nurse; sold real estate; was an original founder of the Women’s Powderpuff Sanctioned Racing Association in 1959; and a huge fan of Elvis Presley.  She was the ultimate sports mom, following all of her children in football, baseball and cheerleading.  She was a very active member of Pleasure Ridge Youth Sports, even serving as a reporter and writer for the publication, Panther Youth Sports.  Most importantly, Faye was just Mom and Mamaw Faye, not only to her own children and grandchildren, but also to all of the neighborhood children.
Faye was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Randall B. Kelly; her sister, Mary Charlotte Bishoff; and her former husband, Joseph “Papa Joe” Kelly.  She is survived by four children, Richard L. Kelly, and his children, Kayla, Karlee and Alasia, Joseph R. Kelly, and his children, Tony and Shawn, Randall’s children, Brittany, Richard, Randall and Michael, Ronda F. (John) Staub, and her children, Gary and Amber, and Rodney M. (Jennifer S.) Kelly, and his children, Clayton, Colton and Kathleen; and 18 great grandchildren; her special niece, Deborah Holland; and several other nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 14, 2022, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Obituary Preview: Mr. Gregory Alan Woodall, age 59, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown, KY.  Mr. Woodall was born on January 13, 1963, the son of Douglas Alan and Anna Pearl (Hill) Woodall. Greg had many interests that included hunting arrowheads, fishing, guns and riding his motorcycle. Most of all Greg loved his family, especially his grandbabies.
Greg is preceded in death by his parents; a granddaughter, Destiny Bowles; and a brother, Kevin Woodall. He is survived by his loving wife, Alicha Woodall; six children, Fallon Woodall, Shane Woodall, Richard Arnold, Ashley Arnold, Amber Arnold and Mason Woodall; 17 grandchildren; one great grandchild, Lyric Shelton; and two siblings, Donna (J.R.) Clemons and Keith (Lonna) Woodall.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at the chapel of Hager Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until the time of service on Saturday.

Mr. Mattingly was preceded in death by his son, Paul Martin Mattingly; his parents, John Charles and Annie Meredith Mattingly; two sisters, Lucille Harrod and Margaret Mudd; and two brothers, Joe Mattingly and Dan Mattingly.  He is survived by his loving wife, Ruby Mattingly; three children, JoNell (Calvin) Jones, Johnny (Charlotte) Mattingly and Charles (Ronna) Mattingly; two sisters, Barbara (Tommy) Williams and Darlene (Lynn) Evans; one brother, Bill Mattingly; eight grandchildren, Jason (Janette) Jones, Jessie (David) Fleenor, Jonna (Jeremy) Townsend, Levi (Danielle) Mattingly, Tabitha (Nathan) Taylor, Charles (Katelyn) Mattingly, Marty Mattingly and John Mattingly; and 13 great-grandchildren.
In honoring Mr. Mattingly’s wishes, the family has chosen cremation. A memorial gathering will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hager Funeral Home.

McQuillen; two sisters, Hattie Fultz and Patricia Kelley; and her cousin, Charles “Steamboat” Adams.  She is survived by her daughter, Dianne McCoy and her husband, Jim; her son, Mark McQuillen and his wife, Anna; seven grandchildren, Chris (Katie) McCoy, Jennifer (Donnie) Conrad, Kelley (Dacia) McCoy, Patrick (Stephanie) McCoy, Jesse (Liz) McQuillen, Jenny McQuillen, and Rachel Foster; 16 great grandchildren, Reece and Caden McCoy, Drew Ray, Landen, Jamie and Logan Conrad, Caroline, Ellis  and Alexander McCoy, Blake (Destiny), Gracie and Gunner McCoy, Alton and Lola McQuillen, Jesseka McQuillen and Kayley Fuller; two sisters, Irene Mitchell and Jean (Gene) Snawder; Becky McCoy and her Louisville neighbors; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  The family would also like to say a special Thank You to Mom’s caregivers, Sheryl Daughtery and Michelle Stinson.

Stanley was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Lonnie, Ronnie, Jeff and Jackie Allen; his sister, Donna Miller; his ex-wife, Barbara Meeks; and his step-son, James Schulz.  He is survived by his son, Danny Allen; three step-children, Jodi Pipes, Cindy Tomes, and Melissa Schulz; three grandchildren, Randen, Destiny and Courtney Allen; his great grandson, Grayson Tester; several step grandchildren; four sisters, Denise Hockman, Terri (Ernie) Bewley, Monica (Charlie) Hersey, and Cheryl (Mike) Horrocks; two brothers, Nick Allen and Mike (Lori) Allen; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her six biological children, Steven (Marie) Parks, James (Amber) Przeadzki, Erik (Sarah) Holdridge, Markey Parks, Michael Parks and Marie Parks; several grandchildren; a brother, Walter “Butch” (Mary) Parks; her significant other, Peter Claus; and several nieces and nephews.

Oliveira started his Army career 16 December 1985 serving in the: 94th ARCOM, 483 RD Engineers BN, (His duties included Team Leader in combat, construction and demolition.) 455th General Hospital; and 399th Combat Support Hospital in various staff positions to include personnel specialist, administrator and medical storage supervisor.
Oliveira worked as a civilian for the Department of the Army as a Military Technician Administrator for about 15 years.
Oliveira was commissioned 1 January 1998 and served 21 years in the Medical Service Corps. Assignments including: 399th Combat Support Hospital-Assistant S3 (Operation/Training Officer), S4 (Logistics Officer), Assistant S1 (Personnel), Medical BDE Forward: Public POA (Public Affairs Officer) Company CDR, S2 Intelligence Officer, Historian/Special Staff Officer, Health Care Administrator, Army Medical Brigade Recruiting Officer, then Chief Operations and Training S:3/5/7, 328th Combat Support Hospital as Adjutant, AMEDD Center and School Capabilities Development Officer and HRC (Human Resource Command) Executive Office Health Services Division and Deputy Chief Division Support Branch.
Oliveira graduated from University of Massachusetts Dartmouth with a Masters Degree of Journalism in 1994 and a Bachelor of English in 1989. His Military Education included Capability Development Course, Health Care Recruiting Course, Health Services Human Resources Manager, Intermediate Level Education and National Security Course.
His military decorations and medals include Meritorious Service Medal (5th Award), Army Commendation Medal (8th Award), Army Achievement Medal (3rd Award), Army Superior Unit Award (3rd Award), Army Reserve Component Achievement Medal (5th Award), National Defense Service Medal (2nd Award), Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Non-Commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon (2nd Award), Army Service Ribbon, Armed Forces Reserve Medal with “M” Device and 30 Year Gold Hourglass, Kosovo Campaign Medal with Bronze Service Star, NATO Medal, Gold Recruiter Badge, Combat Action Badge and Inducted into Order of Military Medical Merit.
An avid gamer and travel enthusiast, Oliveira loved spending time with his beloved family on the ocean and taste testing his wife’s latest recipes.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday 24 March, at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, with Rev. Toan Do officiating.  Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday 23 March from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Thursday 24 March from 9:00 AM until the time of service.  Burial will be held at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery.

Obituary Preview: Mr. Harold Monroe McIntosh, known as “Mac” to many, 91, of Brandenburg, went to rest and rejoice with the love of his life and The Light of the World on the morning of March 9, 2022, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN.
Harold was a member of Salem Baptist Church. A United States Army veteran, he served his country as a sergeant in the Korean War in the 7th Infantry Division. Harold worked as an Instrument Mechanic at Olin Chemical Company from 1956 to 1993. He was an avid traveler and loved the coast. Before he retired, he’d often come home from work on the weekends and say, “Mommy, get ready!” And they’d make the trip to the coast for seafood. He and Mary both wished they could have traveled more. Well into his nineties, Mac enjoyed tending to his garden tomatoes, growing zinnias under his kitchen window and spending time with his family. He loved deeply and sincerely. Mac was humble, selfless, and steady, the most genuine soul and the most special husband, dad, papaw, brother, and friend.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 62 years, Mary Elizabeth McIntosh; his parents, Olney, and Gertrude McIntosh; a daughter, Freda Gaye; a granddaughter, Kate Brown; son-in-law, Danny Brown; and four sisters, Norma Chappell, Opal Walts, Wenonah Scott and Betty McIntosh.
Mr. McIntosh is survived by four children, Brenda Brown, Beth (Rob) Pack, Danny McIntosh and Regina Foushee, and Roger (Tammy) McIntosh; 9 grandchildren, Reba, Erin, Chase, Dana, Levi, Ben, Ashley, Chris and Tessa; 12 great-grandchildren, Austyn, Evan, Carter, Lincoln, Canyon, Griffin, Andi Kate, Chip, Reid, Noah, Natalie, Kamryn, as well as a thirteenth, Penny Layne, on the way; three brothers, John McIntosh, Junior (Yvonne) McIntosh and Kenny (Lavonne) McIntosh; and, close friend, Timmy (Shelia) Kendall, who was like a son to him.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM on Sunday, March 13, 2022 at the chapel of Hager Funeral Home, with the Rev. Tom Bridge officiating. Burial will follow in El Bethel Cemetery in Pilot Knob, Crawford County, Indiana.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12:00 Noon until 8:00 PM on Saturday, and from 8:00 AM until the time of service on Sunday.
