Obituary Preview: Ed Snorgrass, 64, of Kansas City, Mo., passed away April 30, 2024, at his home, surrounded by family.
He was born December 3, 1959, in Kansas City, Mo., the son of Jack Warren Snorgrass and Lillie Irene (Thouvenel) Snorgrass. On May 7, 1983, in Leeton, Mo., he married Brenda Sue McBaine and she survives of the home.
Ed worked in the custodial and maintenance department for the Hickman Mills School District for over 35 years. He made mini motorized tractors for tractor pulls and also made and flew model airplanes. He worked in stained glass and crafted hand-made pens he gave as gifts to family and friends. He enjoyed motorcycle rides with friends to find out-of-the way diners or coffee shops. Family trips to go camping or to Branson were frequent, especially the traditional Easter weekend outing.
In addition to his wife Brenda, survivors include a daughter, Angelia Haupt (Tony), Shawnee, Kansas; 2 granddaughters, Eva Hernandez and Isabella Haupt; a brother, John Snorgrass, Windsor, Mo.; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents; 6 brothers, Jack Snorgrass, Bill Snorgrass, Jerry Snorgrass, Ronnie Snorgrass, Randy Snorgrass, and Larry Snorgrass; and a sister, Lois Wall.
Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 11, 2024, at the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor, with Pastor Vernon Leighty officiating. A memorial has been established in Ed’s memory to help with funeral expenses and contributions may be made in care of the funeral home.

Obituary Preview: Rodney Grover Flower III, 62, of Windsor, Missouri, died Monday, April 29, 2024, at his home near Windsor.
He was born April 8, 1962, in Clarksville, Arkansas, the son of Rodney Grover “R.G.” or “Red” Flower II and Reecie Lee (Wallace) Flower. On May 26, 2018, he married Subashini “Sam” Sundram in Sedalia, Mo., and she survives of the home.
Rodney graduated from Lincoln High School in 1980. He worked for Farmers Coop in Windsor before moving to Oklahoma to work in the oil fields. Coming back to Missouri, he worked for Midwest Crane & Rigging in Kansas City for 20 years. Rodney acquired his farm at the age of 19 and raised many cattle over the years on his land. He enjoyed hunting turkey and deer and taking care of his cattle and farm animals. He was a member of the Missouri Cattleman’s Association, Local 101, Kansas City, Mo., and the Masonic Shawnee Lodge No. 653 in Warsaw.
Survivors include his wife Sam, 2 daughters Amanda Jarvis (Robert), Independence, Mo., and Rachael Roberts (Anthony), New Madrid, Mo.; 6 grandchildren, Annice Davis (Cody), Liam Jarvis, Seth Jarvis, Jadyn Jarvis, Ayrasun Roberts, Ayden Roberts, and Asher Roberts; 3 great-grandsons, Jackson, Truman, and Harrison Davis; a brother, Grady Flower (Linda), Windsor, Mo.; 2 sisters, Patty Harris (Brandt), Tonkawa, Oklahoma, and Betty Briggs, Garden City, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews including nephew Troy Lowrance, Kansas City, Mo. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Megan Nicole Flower; 2 sisters, Donna Flakus and Rodna Taylor; a niece Jennie Howard; and a brother-in-law, Govind Sundram.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, May 4, 2024, at the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor, with Rev. Tyler Poppen officiating. Burial will be in the Laurel Oak Cemetery, Windsor. The family suggests contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in care of the funeral home.

He was born August 25, 1971, in Windsor, the son of Gerald Leroy “Jerry” Baker and Carolyn Louise (Claycomb) Baker. Mark worked in construction for several years. He also installed displays for Lowes and Home Depot with Triple S Marketing.
Mark enjoyed music, drawing, playing slots and outdoor activities like fishing, riding dirt bikes and 4-wheelers, and peaceful drives down gravel roads. Known to be the life of the party, Mark loved joking and making people laugh. He was kindhearted and generous, helping anyone who had a need. All animals had a special place in Mark’s heart, especially his dogs, Benji and Bart.
Survivors include a daughter, Taylor Baker, and a son, Dylan Baker (Ashley), all of Reno, Nevada; 2 grandchildren, Jude and Delilah Baker; his mother, Carolyn Baker, Windsor, Mo.; his father and stepmother, Jerry and Wanda Baker, Sedalia, Mo.; a brother, Chris Baker, Windsor, Mo.; a sister, Angie Barela, Dallas, Texas; stepbrother, Chris Blanchard and stepsister Wendi Meier; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Robert "Bob" Zimmerman - August 15, 1941 - April 17, 2024

Obituary Preview: Robert “Bob” Zimmerman (August 15, 1941 - April 17, 2024), son of George and Louise Zimmerman (both deceased), was a business owner, farmer, husband and father. Bob graduated from Windsor (Missouri) High School in 1959 and received a B.S. in Agriculture and a Minor in Business from the University of Missouri, Columbia. He was a successful salesperson for Prudential Insurance but left to work in the Farm Equipment business. After ten years with International Harvester he became the co-owner of St. Joseph, Missouri’s International Harvester store in 1976, turning it into one of the country’s top dealerships. He sold the store in 1997 and then opened Zimmerman Motors, a car dealership in Elwood, Kansas.
Bob was raised on a farm in Windsor, Missouri and farming was always in his blood. He owned and managed farms in Whitesville, Fillmore, Calhoun and Lincoln, Missouri, raising corn, soybeans, wheat and mules. He had a Grand Champion Jack and a Grand Champion Mule at the Missouri State Fair.
Bob became a home builder after contracting the building of his family’s residence in 1973. He built houses in St. Joseph, Windsor, Laurie and Warsaw, Missouri. He became President of the Midland Home Builders Association and co-founder and President of the St. Joseph Title and Abstract Company. He also served as an auxiliary board member of the North Star Bank. He was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Scottish Rite.
Bob collected arrowheads and could identify the make and model of any car he saw in a movie or TV show. He married his High School sweetheart and they shared many adventures in over 62 years of marriage. He gave his employees the trust and respect to excel and was an example of honesty and genuineness for his daughter. He was kind and without guile. He is survived by his wife Sue Zimmerman and his daughter Machelle Zimmerman.
Graveside funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, April 21, 2024, at the Laurel Oak Cemetery, Windsor. The family suggests contributions to the Windsor High School Class of 1959 Scholarship (checks payable WHS MSEF) in care of the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, May 4, 2024, at the Elks Lodge, 33495 SSR-MM, Warsaw, Mo. Food and drink will be provided.

Obituary Preview: Wayne Gardner, 82, of Windsor, Missouri, passed away early Friday morning, April 12, 2024, at Ridgecrest Nursing Home, Warrensburg, Mo.
He was born August 7, 1941, in Windsor, Mo., the son of Russell Irvin Gardner and Dorothy Christine (Botts) Gardner. On July 20, 1979, he married Patricia Lee “Patty” Allen in Miami, Oklahoma and she preceded him in death on July 23, 2011.
Wayne graduated from Windsor High School in 1959. He served in the United States Army from 1966-1968. He attended auto body trade school in Kansas City and began working at an auto body repair shop in Windsor with Gordon Brown in the late 1960s. He taught auto body repair at Warrensburg High School for a short time. Wayne opened his own shop in Windsor, Gardner Body Shop/W&P Sales & Service, which he owned and operated together with his wife Patty for many years. He loved fishing, going dancing, and was an avid fan of the Kansas City Royals and Chiefs. He was a member of the former Windsor Jaycees, and a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows Lodge #187 in Windsor and was a Mason. He was a member of the Farrington Park Board and helped build many of the original displays for Christmas in the Park, enjoyed by the Windsor community for many years.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Stephanie Gardner and Kathy Tumlinson (Shane), all of Sedalia, Mo.; 3 step-sons, Scott Williams, Keith Williams (Sharon), and Kevin Williams (Penny), all of Windsor; 9 grandchildren, Cheyanne Tumlinson (Kyla), Kiley Tumlinson (Dylan Scott), Samantha Williams (Knicole), Jonathan Williams, Austin Harding (Emily), Kaitlin Beamer (Chris Agee), Shelby Goenen (Riley), Devyn Williams, and Tucker Williams; 3 great-grandchildren, Blakley Beamer, Wesley Beamer, and Tate Goenen; a sister-in-law, Zonnie Gardner; 2 nieces, Mindy Flick and Mia Scherer; a nephew, Matt Gardner; and several cousins. In addition to his wife Patty, he was preceded in death by his parents, his stepmother, Polly; and a brother, Robert Dean Gardner.

He was born December 13, 1968, in Anthony, Kansas, the son of Burlie Frank Campbell and Virginia Irene (Grandstaff) Campbell. On March 27, 1991, he married Rose Marie Heisser in Seattle, Washington, and she survives of the home.
Burl worked for Royal Oaks Hospital in Windsor for many years. He also worked for Stahl Specialty Company in Kingsville, Mo., and EnerSys in Warrensburg, Mo. He loved family getaways that involved camping, kayaking, fishing, hunting, or going to the beach. He and Rose fostered over 300 children and Burl never overlooked an opportunity to help a child. He loved the Kansas City Chiefs and attended Windsor Assembly.
In addition to his wife Rose, survivors include 15 children, Jessica Campbell (Gary), Kayla Campbell, Marlena Campbell, Chantel Neal (Isaac), James Campbell, Pamela Campbell, Cheyenne Campbell, Mikel Campbell, Nicole Campbell (Aaron), Jayme McGowan (Jaeci), Aiden Campbell, Lyla Campbell, Donnie Campbell, Carie Campbell, and Ryan Campbell; 8 grandchildren, Oaklyn, Kolter, Trinity, Matthew, Madison, Ronnie, Ella, and Nora; his mother-in-law, Marilyn Helseth, Windsor, Mo.; 3 sisters, Elsie Martens (Richard) and Elaine Campbell, all of Maimi, Mo., and Margaret Blakely (Chris), Marshall, Mo.; a “bonus brother,” Micheal Hirt; a brother-in-law, James Luckett (Tiffany); 2 sisters-in-law, Pam Tessmer (Jonathan), and Marla Markham; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces. She was born July 11, 1939, in Sedalia, Mo., the daughter of Earl Branstetter and Alma Mae (Walter) Branstetter. On November 5, 1983, she married Rodney Allen Isabell in Sedalia, Mo., and he survives of the home.
Vera worked for a short time as a waitress at Golden Corral in Sedalia. She and Rodney enjoyed square dancing and she liked playing arcades games like Mrs. Pacman. Word puzzles, board games and playing cards were also things she enjoyed. She was a member of Clarks Fork Trinity Lutheran Church in Boonville.
In addition to her husband Rodney, survivors include 4 children, Teresa “Terry” Varner, Winter Haven, Florida; Mark Isabell (Jackie), Clinton, Mo.; Jamie Isabell, Clinton, Mo.; and Robin Kagarice, Clinton, Mo.; 12 grandchildren, Dustin Brandes, Corey Brandes, Kelly Ahern, Greg Isabell, Cody Isabell, Brayden Isabell, Tristan Isabell, Gabe Isabell, Scott Isabell, Koltin Kagarice, Kourtney Kagarice, and Khloe Kagarice; several great-grandchildren; including Braylyn and Grayson; a sister, Betty Duncan, Fayetteville, Georgia; and several nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces. She was born September 1, 1939, in Kansas City, Mo., the daughter of Herman Ralph Poole and Martha Virginia (Lea) Poole. On June 30, 1956, she married Howard Hampton in Windsor at the First Christian Church parsonage.
She worked at the International Shoe Factory and Parmelee Industries in Windsor. She began working independently as a seamstress making backpacks and duffle bags and then started her own machine quilting business, which she operated with the help of her husband Howard. She had several Yorkie and Chihuahua dogs that were faithful companions. She also enjoyed her Koi fishpond. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, Windsor.
Survivors include 3 sons, Billy Dale Hampton (Peggy), Hermitage, Mo.; James Dean Hampton and Danny Duane Hampton, both of Windsor, Mo.; 5 grandchildren, Nicholas Hampton, Andrew Hampton, Sara Larimore (Garrett), Ashley Hampton, and Kelsy Hampton; 3 great-grandchildren, Dixon, Grant, and Trace Larimore; her step-mother, Gerlinde Poole, Brighton, Colorado; 5 sisters, Marty Burke, Kansas City, Mo., Janet Thies, Mountain Home, Arkansas, Judy Dollard, Windsor, Mo., Ginny Sell, Windsor, Mo., and Linda Carpenter, Paola, Kansas; a half-sister, Andrea Poole, Colorado; a sister-in-law, Paula Hampton, Windsor, Mo.; and numerous nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces, and many extended family. Jesse Crouch - May 17, 1936 - March 14, 2024

Obituary Preview: Jesse J. Crouch, 87, passed away at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home, Cole Camp, Mo., late Thursday evening, March 14, 2024.
Jesse was born to Thomas Lloyd and Artie Miche (Morris) Crouch, on May 17, 1936, in Climax Springs, Mo. After Jesse graduated from school, he moved to Kansas City, Mo., where he worked and married Patsy (McDowell) Crouch on October 9, 1956; to this union was born a daughter, Connie (Crouch) Cunningham and a son, Curtis Crouch. About 2 years later, they moved to the Windsor, Mo., area where he worked at the International Shoe Factory. Jesse also worked for Lake City, worked construction jobs and, in later years, was an over the road truck driver.
Jesse loved the outdoors, old cars, cattle and traveling. He would have stacks of the United States Atlas and could take you anywhere you wanted to go. He loved to talk about the many sights and things he was able to experience throughout his many years of both truck driving and traveling. He could read the Atlas forward and backward and name just about every highway in the states he had been in.
Jesse was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Artie Crouch; a brother, Charles Crouch; 2 sisters, Betty Smallwood and Wanda Howard; a son, Curtis Crouch, and Patsy (McDowell) Crouch.
He is survived by his daughter, Connie Cunningham (Dave) of Warsaw, Mo.; and 3 brothers, Sonny Crouch (Kathleen), Paul Crouch (Martha), and Earl Crouch (Gidget), as well as many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held at the Laurel Oak Cemetery, Windsor, with Pastor Tony Smith officiating. The family suggests contributions to funeral expenses in care of the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor.

He was born September 28, 1953, in St. Louis, Mo., the son of Lawrence Edward Brown and Dorothy Irene (Whiteaker) Brown. Darrell served in the United States Air Force and was stationed at Whiteman Air Force Base for several years. He liked to fish and go to garage sales.
Survivors include a daughter, Angela Owens, Oklahoma; a son, Darrell Brown Jr (Tina Warren), Knob Noster, Mo.; 5 grandchildren, Haley Owens, Taylor Owens, Seth Brown, Amanda Warren, and Ashley Warren; 2 great-grandchildren, Landon Burnett and Kannon Arreola; a brother, Larry Brown; and several nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son-in-law, Tyrone Owens; 2 brothers, Ralph Brown and Kenny Brown; and 2 sisters, Joyce Correll and Betty Lanning.

Shirley Jean (Galloway) Bilbruck - July 22, 1937 - March 09, 2024

Obituary Preview: Shirley Bilbruck, 86, of Clinton, Missouri, formerly of Calhoun, Mo., died Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Windsor Healthcare & Rehabilitation.
She was born July 22, 1937, at the family home in Green Ridge, Mo., the daughter of Shelton Benjamin Galloway and Mattie Grace (Wolkey) Galloway. On August 20, 1954, she married James Edward “Jim” Bilbruck at the Calhoun Baptist Church, and he preceded her in death on May 3, 2023.
She attended Eldorado United Methodist Church as a child. She enjoyed riding horses and had the privilege of walking across the Hendricks Hall stage at Central Missouri State College (now UCM) in Warrensburg to get her 8th grade diploma from the Johnson County School Superintendent. She completed her high school studies at Windsor High School, graduating in 1954. She worked at the Calhoun R-8 School for over 9 years as secretary to the Superintendent and Board of Education. She also worked for the Calhoun Post Office for a short time. She was a 4H leader and PTO officer when her children were young and in school. She was a Clerk IV at the Henry County Health Department for 21 years, retiring in 2002. In later years, she was active in the American Legion Auxiliary. She was a long-time member of the Calhoun Baptist Church, serving as Secretary/Treasurer for the WMU group of the church. She and Jim went on several mission trips to Jamaica with the Clinton United Methodist Church. Shirley was patriotic and loved serving and helping others.
Survivors include 3 children, Kimberly Ann Weston, New Franklin, Mo., James Bret Bilbruck (Ann), Windsor, Mo., and Brian Scott Bilbruck (Lisa Childers), Windsor, Mo.; 8 grandchildren, Amy Weston, Molly Baker (Aaron), Emily Snapp (Joshua), Mike Bilbruck (Aimee Nicolson), Monica Blevins (William), George Bilbruck, Shelby Bilbruck (Leslie West), and Sidney Harrington (Alex); 15 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Wanda Wood (Bill), Lawrence, Kansas; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. In addition to her husband Jim, she was preceded in death by her parents; a son-in-law, David Weston; and 9 brothers and sisters, Finis Galloway, Ruby Galloway, Forrest Galloway, Kenneth Galloway, Clyde Galloway, Lawrence Galloway, Leo Galloway, Annabele Burkhead, and Dorothy Walters.

He was born December 26, 1944, in Windsor, Mo., the son of John William Fosnow and Laree Mae (Swisher) Fosnow. On November 11, 1967, he married Mary Ann Tope in Windsor, and she survives of the home. Of this union four children were born.
Larry graduated from Lincoln High School in 1963. He was in the United States Army serving in the Vietnam War. He was awarded the Purple Heart. Larry was a member of the V.F.W. and American Legion. He was a member of Operating Engineers Local 101 for his entire career as a bulldozer and crane operator. He worked on many different heavy highway projects in the Kansas City area, retiring with Radmacher Brothers Excavating. He also helped with construction of different phases on the Truman Dam including the Visitor Center and the Mile Long Bridge in Warsaw. He attended Central States Auction School and operated Fosnow Auction & Realty for many years as an auctioneer and real estate broker. He loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and had special nicknames for each of them. He was an avid reader and life-long learner. In retirement, he became a Master Gardener with a flourishing and ever adapting garden in the backyard. He was a devout Christian and was a member of Windsor Assembly.
In addition to his wife Mary Ann, other survivors include his 4 children, Lori Watson (Rick), Clinton, Mo, Clint Fosnow (Ashley), Greenwood, Mo, Jamie Fosnow (Chloe), Lee's Summit, Mo and Dana Ballenger (Corey), Lee's Summit, Mo, 10 grandchildren, Dakota Watson (Ashley), Makenna Hix (Jarrod), Vera Fosnow, Henry Fosnow, Charlotte Fosnow, Joey Fosnow, Jax Fosnow, Cayden Ballenger, Marley Ballenger, and Colt Ballenger; 1 great-grandson, Silas Hix, and a great grandchild on the way, Baby Watson; 3 brothers and 2 sisters, Linda Alcorn, Sedalia, Mo, Rick Fosnow (Diane), Windsor, Mo, Russ Fosnow (Alice), Windsor, Mo, Carol Sawyer (Don), Sedalia, Mo and Randy Fosnow (Cindy), Sedalia, Mo, a brother-in-law, Gary White, Derby, KS, a sister-in-law, Gloria Fosnow; an Aunt, Helen Henderson (Tyler), Kansas City, Mo; and numerous nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces, cousins and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: 1 sister, Marilyn White and 2 brothers, Bob Fosnow and Bill Fosnow; brother-in-law, Norman Alcorn, sister-in-law, Connie Fosnow and nephew, Jeff Fosnow, his father-in-Iaw and mother-in-law, Verne and Vera Tope.
Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m., Sunday, March 10, 2024, at Windsor Assembly in Windsor, MO with Pastor Murlin Anstine and Pastor Regina Hix officiating. Burial will be in Laurel Oak Cemetery, Windsor. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor. He was born August 16, 1953, in Marshall, Mo., the son of Theodore Henry “Ted” Ballenger and Jesse Ailene (Wright) Ballenger. Doug was a 1971 graduate of Windsor High School. He attended college at State Fair Community College and then Central Missouri State University (now UCM). He taught science in Windsor for several years before beginning a career with Walgreens. He was assistant manager at the stores in Clinton and Warrensburg and finished his career at the store in Sedalia, retiring in December of 2023. Taking after his father, he was a talented woodworker and enjoyed gardening. He was a member of the Windsor United Methodist Church.
Survivors include 2 brothers, Theodore Jr. “Tony” Ballenger (Sandy) of Jefferson City, Mo., and Glenn Ballenger (Pat) of Belton, Mo.; 2 nieces and 3 nephews, Angela DeMars (Kirk), Chris Ballenger, Melanie Reidy (Michael), Ryan Ballenger (Beth), and Corey Ballenger (Dana); 9 great-nephews and nieces; and 4 great-great-nephews and a great-great-niece. She was born June 25, 1942, in Windsor, Missouri, the daughter of Murrel William Roark and Katie Bell (Folsom) Roark. On June 24, 1961, she married Kenneth Wayne Acker Sr., in Windsor, and he preceded her in death on March 16, 1991.
Marjorie grew up in Windsor and graduated from Windsor High School. She and Kenneth lived in Merriam, Kansas for many years and she worked for the Water District No 1 of Johnson County. She and Kenneth enjoyed square dancing and taking the family to their cabin at the lake for weekend fishing get-aways. A fan of country music, she attended many Missouri State Fair concerts and was an avid fan of the Kansas City Chiefs. She was a talented seamstress, making dresses for her sisters, quilting, and sewing special outfits for her granddaughter. Her artistic talents included painting and she loved going on drives with Kenneth in their 1957 Ford Thunderbird, which is still in the family. She loved her family pets including her grumpy cat, Coco. Dearest to her was her family, especially her grandchildren. Whether it was getting drinks at Sonic or Black Friday shopping trips with her daughter and granddaughter, she spoiled each one in a special way.
Survivors include a daughter, Melissa Acker Humphreville (Robert), Overland Park, Ks.; 2 grandsons, Ryan Humphreville (Sarah), Paola, Ks., and Rylie Humphreville, Overland Park, Ks.; a granddaughter, Miranda Humphreville, Overland Park, Ks.; 2 great-grandchildren, Sapphire and Jasper Humphreville; a sister, Connie Bowlin (Gary), Omaha, Nebraska; a brother-in-law, Bill Yager; a sister-in-law, Carol Acker; and many nieces and nephews. She was born May 17, 1996, in Moberly, Mo. She was the daughter of Jonathan Richard Cheeney and Lee Ann (Humphrey) Cheeney. On June 19, 2020, she married Jonathon Ronald Matthew Lindsay, in Warsaw, Mo., and he survives of the home.
Meranda graduated from Higbee High in Higbee Missouri. As a young girl she loved to play dress up, being outside and was a very spunky little girl. Meranda eventually grew up and met and married the love of her life, Jonathon Lindsay. They moved to Chillicothe where she and Johnathon got their fur-babies. They loved to spend time with friends and family and were very involved with their church. Meranda loved children, especially her nieces and nephews. She always had a smile on her face and was a strong and beautiful soul.

Darrell graduated from Lee Summit High School. Following graduation, he pursued several careers giving him a wide variety of abilities and experiences. He was a carpenter, working in all aspects of the trade, installed patio enclosures and became a salesman with the company, and worked for American Freight. He and Tina had food trucks and spent Summers on the road, traveling to fairs across the Midwest in Oklahoma, Kansas, and Missouri. He owned an exotic pet store in Raytown for several years and enjoyed animals, especially llamas, goats, and Great Dane dogs. He knew how to make and fix things and enjoyed spending time in his woodshop or working on models to keep his hands busy. Darrell loved his life, having no regrets, living each day to its fullest.
Survivors include a sister, Sharon Tellier, Hoyt, Ks.; a niece, Ali Currie (Garrett); and 3 great-nephews, Garreson Currie, Reid Currie and Eric Williams and his mother, DeAnna Williams; a great-great-niece, Rhyan Williams; and his significant other Pat Trask, Pleasant Hill, Mo. In addition to his wife Tina, he was preceded in death by his parents.

Jason was a 1991 graduate of Windsor High School and worked for Collum & Brown in Lee’s Summit, Mo. He was co-founder and President of Friends-N-Family volunteer organization, helping many families in the Kansas City area. A devoted family man, he loved trips to the lake, and going boating or fishing together. He was a good cook, tech savvy, and continued to expand his knowledge by listening to podcasts. He never overlooked someone in need, always going above and beyond to help others. His heart of kindness will be missed by his family and countless friends.

Herbert was born February 4, 1932 in Mack’s Creek, Mo., the son of Eless Arron and Elsie Bell (Skinner) Seaton. On July 20, 1951 he married Ada May Eidson in Mack’s Creek, and they shared 70 years of marriage.
Herbert worked at Ford Motor Company in Claycomo Mo., for 30 years as an assembly line worker. After his retirement from Ford, he worked part time at the Marti Hatchery in Windsor. He enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing. Loving and caring for his family brought him the greatest joy. Herbert loved to tell jokes and stories, play pranks, and keep people laughing. Herbert was a member of the Windsor Special Road District and the Independence Fire District. Early in their marriage, Herbert and Ada May were instrumental in founding and building Faith Missionary Baptist Church and Harmony Heights Missionary Baptist Church. He was currently a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Edith, Mo.

Lori was born June 1, 1959, in Clinton, Mo., the daughter of Kenneth Leroy Mansfield and Mary Fern (Smith) Mansfield. After Mary’s death, Kenneth married Jean Ann, who loved Lori as her own. On February 23, 1979, Lori married John Henderson, and they were the parents of two children, Melissa Jo and Stan Lee. On June 10, 1994, Lori married James Edward Ash at the Windsor Assembly of God Church. With this union, Jimmy, Ryan, Chris and Ari joined the family.
Lori was a 1977 graduate of Windsor High School. While in high school, she worked at the Wagon Wheel as a waitress. She earned her CNA certificate and worked in home health, most recently for Four Seasons In-Home Services. Lori worked as a production lead at Parmalee in Windsor for 23 years.
Lori was a part of the Thursday bowling league at Windsor Lanes for many years. She enjoyed going to garage sales, puzzles, and playing cards with friends. To her family, Lori was “super Nana.” She took great joy in being a part of her kids and grandkids lives. Lori’s home away from home was the ballfield, where she was never found without her iced tea cup. The love Lori had to give was as endless as the iced tea in that favorite cup. In addition to her husband Jim, survivors include 6 children, Melissa Jo Beal (Mike), Kansas City, Mo., Stan Lee Henderson (Jessica), Windsor, Mo., Jimmy Ash, Windsor, Mo., Ryan Ash (Kim), Windsor, Mo., Chris Ash, Hermitage, Mo., Ari Downs (Josh “George”), Boonville, Mo.; 15 grandchildren, Bryar, Izzy, Cora, Taylor, Kadance, Olivia, Quentin, Hayley, Gunnar, Alex, Kaitlyn, Ziaha, Xander, PJ, and Izzie; 4 great-grandchildren, Marlee, Hudson, Gavin, and Denver; 5 siblings, Kenneth (Ern) Mansfield, Randy Mansfield, Margo Terry (Lonnie), Teresa Livingston (Otis), and Karen Raithel (Mark); numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, including a special niece Denise King. Joann was born August 31, 1939, near Cole Camp, Mo., the daughter of Timothy Sickler and Ethel Marie (Brown) Sickler. On June 11, 1967, she married Kenneth Gladwyn Angle in Windsor, Mo., and he survives of the home.
Joann attended school in Salina, Kansas, completing the 10th grade before going to work to help support her family. As a young woman, she worked for J.A. Lamey in Sedalia Mo., and later the Windsor Shoe Factory and Parmalee. Joann earned her Certified Nursing Assistant certification and worked at nursing homes in both Windsor and Warsaw in various roles.
Always one to stay active, Joann was early to rise and took pride in the daily tasks to keep her home and raise her children. She loved being outdoors, especially gardening, working in her yard, mushroom hunting and crappie fishing. Joann enjoyed baking her famous lemon pies and sharing homemade food at family gatherings or with friends in need. As her health declined, Joann’s smile and sweet spirit continued to shine. She will be remembered for her kind heart and smile.

She was born June 30, 1935 in McKittrick, Mo., to William Samuel Hord and Sylvia Leona (Wray) Hord. Gloria was the oldest of five children. From a young age she was a caregiver helping her mother with her four younger brothers. She attended grade school in Bryson and Windsor, Mo., and later graduated from Windsor High School in 1953. After high school she married Lyle Vance Ellis on January 3, 1954, in Green Ridge, Mo., and they were blessed with four children. Lyle proceeded her in death on February 16, 1992. In September 2002 she married James Clifford (JC) Young in Harrison, Arkansas.
Gloria had the pleasure of staying home to raise her four children. Later, she enjoyed working at the former Saxton’s Ben Franklin in Windsor. Gloria loved spending time with her family making sure everyone was cared for and well loved. Lyle’s career moved the family around Missouri, and Gloria devoted her time to keeping her kids involved with school and community activities.
Years later she worked for Missouri Public Service in Windsor and Warrensburg. Once she retired, she dedicated her time to caring for her grandchildren and attending all their activities. She was an exceptional cook, and her family especially loved her fried chicken and mashed potatoes. Gloria always enjoyed traveling to new places, working with puzzles, and doing yardwork. She also appreciated nature and loved watching hummingbirds on her back deck, as well as looking at beautiful flowers. Gloria was the matriarch and caregiver of the family. She was a kind, loving, and selfless person that everyone admired, and she was always passionate about her family. Gloria was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Obituary Preview: Larry Wayne Barb, 78, of Green Ridge, Missouri, died Thursday, February 22, 2024, at Kindred Hospital Northland, Kansas City, Mo.
Larry was born October 26, 1945 in Higginsville, Mo., to Arthur Wayne and Opal Ann (Cole) Barb. On July 24, 1971, he married Debra Hope Rector at the Corder Baptist Church, Corder, Mo. They were blessed with two sons, Chris and Eric.
Larry was a 1963 graduate of Corder High School. After graduation, he attended Central Missouri State University, now University of Central Missouri, in Warrensburg, Mo. Larry completed his education at Southwest Baptist University, Bolivar, Mo., graduating in 1970 with a bachelors degree in Education. Larry spent many years as an educator. He taught at Wellsville-Middletown School in Wellsville, Mo., while also coaching Jr. High boys basketball. In 1972, Larry and Debbie moved to Green Ridge where Larry would spend the next 25 years teaching physical education and history. During this time, Larry coached boys Varsity basketball for 11 years, girls Varsity basketball for 10 years, as well as girls softball. After his retirement from teaching, Larry then began to drive the Green Ridge School bus for 17 years. He was a founding member of the Green Ridge Recreation Organization.
Larry loved spending time with his family and helping Debbie maintain her flower beds. He enjoyed fishing and golf, and spent several years playing softball with the “Turtle Herd.” He was a talented woodworker, creating many Christmas nativity yard displays which were enjoyed each year by the Green Ridge community. Larry was a member of the Green Ridge Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and trustee. Larry had a servant’s heart. His selfless actions were motivated by a deep love for his family, church, and community.
In addition to his wife Debbie, survivors include two children, Chris (Stacy) Barb, Strafford, Mo., and Eric (Kelly) Barb, Jefferson City, Mo.; 4 grandchildren, Drew, Cooper, Hudson and Graham; a sister, Shirley Corder, Corder, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, David Corder.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at the First Baptist Church, Windsor, with Pastor John Streit officiating. Burial will be in the Green Ridge Cemetery, Green Ridge, Mo. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor. Mark was born May 7, 1960 in Kansas City, Missouri. His parents, Art and Mary lived in Hickman Mills. He was an only child until March, 1963 when he became a big brother to Edward and again in December of 1967 he became a big brother again to Jane.
At age 9, the family moved to Newport, WA where he started the 4th grade. They remained in Newport until the 70’s when the family moved to Spokane, WA where Mark lived most of his life.
In Spokane, Mark went to Sacajawea Jr. High and Joel E. Ferris High School. He was an actor at Ferris and in Community Theatre and played rolls such as “The Scare Crow” in the Wizard of Oz, “Charlie” in Flowers for Algernon and starred in “Little Miss Firecracker” in Community Theatre. He was a star.
In 1984 he moved to St. Thomas, USVI, where he worked as a waiter for Alexander’s Restaurant and also worked in a custom Jewelry Shop where he learned about gold and beautiful gem stones; returning to Spokane in 1986 to attend his sister’s graduation.
His first jobs included working in the food service industry for places like KFC and Dick’s Hamburgers. Mark settled on a career with United Health Care Services Credit Union. He moved through different jobs until he found that Fraud was his passion. He retired after 20 years.
After retirement Mark found great joy as a Virtual Railfan and made many friends while watching trains. His favorite train depot is in La Plata, MO which he visited 16 different times.
Mark is survived by his Mother and Step-father Mary and Charles Smith, Trenton, MO. His sister Jane Larison of Newport, WA; nephew Kyle (Ally) Larison, Cheney, WA; a great-niece Makyla Larison in Savoy, TX. Mark has 3 step-siblings that also survive him: Mark Smith of Spokane, Laryn Smith of Spokane and Mary K. (Russ) Schroter of Cary, NC; and first cousins Rodger Larison, Overland Park, KS and Amy Larison, Mesquite, TX.
He is preceded in death by his Father, Arthur Lee Larison, 1995 and his younger brother Edward Larison, 2021.
Graveside memorial services will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 1, 2024, at the Laurel Oak Cemetery, Windsor, with Pastor Jason McCray officiating. The family suggests memorials to Harbor Hospice of Kansas City, MO  or Laurel Oak Cemetery, Windsor, MO, in care of the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor.

He was born June 17, 1944, in Clinton, Mo., the son of Garland Jacob Willhite and Elta Alice (Merritt) Willhite. On June 10, 1964, he married Genie Claudine Hargett in Clinton, Mo., and she survives of the home.
Lloyd worked as a machinist for KW-Dart Truck Co. in Kansas City for 21 years and then as a supervisor for the Kansas City Water Department for over 13 years before retirement. He was talented with wood and metal, making small-scale gas engines, clocks, and working on anything intricate. He built and raced a race car and rebuilt several cars. He enjoyed tinkering with machines and contributed to many community projects in Windsor.
In addition to his wife Genie, survivors include a daughter, Cassi Lynn Willhite, Windsor, Mo.; a sister, Mary Jane Dixon, Texas; a sister-in-law, Janie Sidwell, Garden City, Mo.; and numerous nephews and nieces including Wayne Hargett. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Michael Willhite; his parents; and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor, with Rev. Jamie Hargett officiating. Burial will be in the Cable Ridge Cemetery, Climax Springs, Mo. The family will receive friends before the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
