She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Pine Grove.
Alice was a dietary aide and worked for Rest Haven in Schuylkill Haven.
Preceding her in death were her husband of 53 years, Lester I. Kimmel; a son, Melvin C. Reichert, Sr.; a,daughter, Tonya T. Novack; four brothers, Garfield G., Charles, Morris, and John Reichert; three sisters, Orzaba Wolfe, Irene Kimmel, and Sevilla Doll Stine.
Surviving are two sons, Kim and wife Andrea Kimmel of Pine Grove, Lanny and wife Patti Kimmel of Schuylkill Haven; 8 grandchildren, Shawn Kimmel, Amie Kimmel, Torie Fisher, Kyle Novack, Jesse Kimmel, Cody Kimmel, Melvin Reichert, Jr., and Tracy Staller; 9 great grandchildren; a sister, Emily Hoover of Pine Grove; nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove, with Pastor Brian Beissel officiating. There will be a viewing on Saturday, May 4, 2024 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Pine Grove.

Born on April 27, 1931 in Tremont, he was a son of the late Clarence and Catherine Lengle Moyer.
He was a 1949 graduate of Pine Grove High School.
Glenn was a U.S. Navy Veteran during the Korean Conflict.
He was part owner of Lake Homes Inc. in Pine Grove along with his brothers, Robert and William.  He also worked at Cressona Aluminum and was a Supervisor at Lebanon Valley Homes.
Glenn was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Pine Grove. He was also a member of the Pine Grove Masonic Lodge #409 F. & A.M., Pine Grove Lions Club, Pine Grove VFW Post 3432, Pine Grove American Legion Post 374, and the Tulpehocken Rifle and Pistol Club.
Preceding him in death were his wife Margaret "Mary Ellen" Daubert Moyer; a son, Garry "Mike" Moyer; three brothers, Robert, Marlin, and Clarence Moyer; two sisters, Lorraine Hain and Florence B. Yerges.
Surviving are a son, Dale "Russ" and wife Susan Moyer of Pine Grove; four daughters, Gail and husband Dennis Adams, Donna and husband Joe Witherow, both of Pine Grove,  Susie and husband Joe Hall of Benton, Brenda and husband Joe Keefer of Denver; a daughter-in-law Patsy Moyer of Pine Grove;  9 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren; a brother, William Moyer of Pine Grove; nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog Boots.
All Services will be held at the convenience of the family with Pastor Brian Beissel officiating. Interment will be in the Schuylkill Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Pine Grove.

Donald was a CNA and had worked for the Lebanon VA Medical Center.
He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Pine Grove and the Pine Grove Masonic Lodge #409 F. & A.M..
Preceding him in death were two brothers, Irvin Schwartz and Curtis Schwartz.
Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Barbara A. Sippel Schwartz; a daughter, Deborah and husband Scott Umberger of Mt. Zion; a son Donald J. and wife Susan Schwartz of Pine Grove; three grandchildren, Derek Scheib and companion Sarah Robey of Palmetto, Fl, Devan and wife Elizabeth Scheib of Leola, Jeniffer Schwartz of Pine Grove; two great grandchildren, Calvin Scheib, Charleigh Olivia Scheib; a step great grandchild, Aria Watkins; nieces and nephews.
All Services will be held at a later date. Interment will be in St. John's Union Cemetery, Friedensburg.

Ruth was a Sewing Machine Operator for Ethel Maid, Inc, and retired in 1994. She was a member of Salem Hetzel's Lutheran Church, Pine Grove and a former member of the Pine Grove Senior Citizens.
Preceding her in death were her husband of 58 years, Arlin S. Miller on April 6, 2014; two sisters, Erma Brown and May Moyer; and six brothers, Russell, Wilson, Leo, George, Robert, and Joseph Moyer. Ruth was the last surviving member of her family.
Surviving are a son, Reynold A. Miller and his companion Sandra; a daughter, Rita A. and husband Gary Lehman, who provided care for Ruth in their home for three years; a daughter-in-law, Kathleen Miller, all of Schuylkill Haven; three granddaughters, Kimberly A. and husband Greg Miller, Nicole L. and husband Donald Bohn, and Dr. Stacey L. Lehman-Tenuto and husband Michael Tenuto; four great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Private Services will be held at the convenience of the family with Rev. Marie Meeks officiating. Interment will follow in Salem Hetzel's Cemetery, Pine Grove,.

Preceding him in death was a sister, Janice E. Minnich.
Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Charlotte J. Spancake; two daughters, Melinda and husband Cory Shollenberger of Pine Grove, Valerie Floyd of Millersville; four grandchildren, Cameron Shollenberger of CA, Kira Shollenberger of Pine Grove, Amber Floyd of Millersville, Bailey Floyd of Millersville; three brothers, Kevin and wife Ann Klinger of Pine Grove, Gary and wife Linda Klinger of Bedford, Dean and wife Robin Klinger of Schuylkill Haven; a sister, April and husband Dean Reinbold of Pine Grove; nieces and nephews.

He was a machine operator and worked for American Argo Corp.
Albert was a life member of Pine Grove VFW Post 3432, Amvets #429, and Roedersville Game and Fish, a 40 yr. member of American Legion, social member of Rock Fish & Game, Summit Station Fire Co. and Mt. Etna Fire Co.
Preceding him in death were his wife of 64 years, Alice M. Herring Pogera; a brother, Peter Pogera, Jr; two sisters, Frances Maccarone and Lillian Leonard; step sisters and brothers, Marie Hopper, Mary Zych, Maxine Harvey, Christine Golden, Roy Robinson and Bill Robinson.

Lester enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, cutting grass and Western movies.
Preceding him in death were a daughter, Leslie Krammes; two brothers, his identical twin Leroy Krammes and Stanford Krammes; and a half brother Glenn Krammes.
Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Janet Becker Krammes; two sons, Rodney and wife Lisa Krammes of Pine Grove, Todd Krammes and companion Barb Miller of Auburn; a daughter Bonnie and husband Mike Gilbert of Pine Grove; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Colin M. Tobin, 81, of Pine Grove, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 surrounded by his family.
Born June 23, 1942, he was the son of the late James and Evelyn Tobin.
Colin worked as a mechanic. He also served in the U.S. Army National Guard, Co B (-) 228th Transportation Battalion from September 1959 to June 1963 and the U.S. Army Reserves from June 1963 to May 1967.
An incredible husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, his clear and consistent love for everyone in his family established lifelong, unbreakable bonds that forever will be cherished. He always had or made time for family, friends and causes that were important to him. His patented thoughtfulness and generosity touched many from Donaldson to Pine Grove, often volunteering at the American Legion Post 374 in Pine Grove and for countless community causes. His skills as a mechanic and repairman bailed out many thankful friends and neighbors, often at a moment’s notice.
Colin touched the lives of so many with whom he crossed paths. A gifted storyteller with an easygoing delivery, his yarns about life growing up in Frailey Township, local history and insights on everyday life endeared him to many. He was a caring, genuine “nice guy” whose love, deeds and friendliness will live on among those who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly Unger Tobin, to whom he was married for 60 years; a daughter and caregiver later in life, Crystal, wife of Terry Stump; and a son, Brian Tobin, and his wife, Diane, all of Pine Grove. He was preceded in death by beloved sisters Anna Pontoriero, June DesRoches, Grace Camilo, Irma McCurdy, Mae Lorraine Young, and Florence McCkosky, and brothers Allen "Les" Tobin, and James "Pete" Tobin. He is survived by loving sisters Dorothy Herb, Carol Schwalm, Evelyn Eisenacher, as well as grandchildren Bradley Tobin, Linglestown, and Mickayla Stump, Pine Grove; great grandkids, Molly and Eva Tobin, Pine Grove; numerous nieces and nephews.

Alice was an avid reader and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. She also loved the beach.  Her family was her world and she loved spending time with and taking care of them.
Preceding her in death were a sister, Nancy Wolfe and a brother Joseph L. Fisher.
Surviving are her husband and best friend of 53 years, John Chupick, Sr.; two sons, John Jr. and wife Danielle Chupick of Pine Grove, Joseph and wife Elaine Chupick of Minersville; a daughter, Angela and husband Robert Valent of Grantville; six grandchildren, Kamdon, Tallin, Kaylonie, James, Trista and husband Dwight, and Donald Jr.; three great grandchildren, Christopher, Aden and Lukas; two sisters, Shirley and husband Howard Mills of Harpers Ferry, W.V., Patty Zerbe of Pine Grove; a brother, James and wife April Fisher of Pine Grove; nieces and nephews.

Beverly L. Zimmerman, 79, of Pine Grove, passed away on Wednesday afternoon, March 20, 2024 in Providence Place, Pine Grove with her family by her side.
She was the wife of the late Richard E. Zimmerman, Sr., who she married on February 16, 1963.
Born on November 16, 1944 in Pottsville, she was the daughter of the late Clair and Margaret McCaughey Morgan.
Beverly was a 1962 graduate of Tremont High School.
She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Pine Grove, where she served as organist and junior choir director for many years until her retirement in 2013, and Grace Free Church, Cressona.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her dearly loved grandson, Brandon Zimmerman.
Surviving are three sons, Richard Jr, husband of Rhonda (Rhen) of Royersford, PA, Steven, husband of Karen (Morris) of Martinsburg, WV, and Scott, husband of Cindy (Krammes) of Pine Grove, PA; four granddaughters, Morgan Zimmerman, Emily Zimmerman, Madison Zimmerman, and Mya Zimmerman; two grandsons, Erik Zimmerman and Jacob Zimmerman; two brothers, Clair Morgan of Richmond, VA and Roger Morgan of Wallingford, PA; nieces and nephews.
While most of her early adult life was focused on raising her sons, she also worked at The Press Herald as a writer, and later at TGW Corp. as a bookkeeper.
Throughout her life, Beverly loved serving her community in a number of ways.  She was a member of the Pine Grove Bicentennial Committee and the Pine Grove H. H. & L. Fire Co. No. 1 Ladies Auxiliary.  She also supported her son's activities through the Pine Grove Area High School Band Boosters, Boy Scout Troop 111, and the Camp Pine Grove Association.
Beverly also loved music and began playing the organ at various churches in Tremont and Donaldson during high school.  Throughout her life, she played the organ, piano, and clarinet and was a member of several local community bands.  She also taught piano lessons for many years in Pine Grove and Tremont.
She also loved to sew and knit, and if she wasn't playing music, she could be seen with knitting needles in her hand.
Beverly also enjoyed many fall Saturdays in Happy Valley tailgating with family and cheering for the Penn State Nittany Lions, though we admit she probably enjoyed watching and listening to the Penn State Blue Band more.
But most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.  She made many trips to watch her grandchildren's school and church events, dance recitals, baton competitions, band concerts, and more, and she loved being an active part of their lives.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 25, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. from the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove, with Pastor Joshua Ott of Grace Free Church, Cressona officiating.  There will be a viewing on Monday, March 25, 2024 from 9:30 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home,  Interment will follow in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Pine Grove.

He was a Sergeant in the Marines having served from 1953 to 1956.
Albert received a diploma from the National School of Meat Cutting, Inc. in January 1957. He was a butcher and worked for his father as well as other businesses.
He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Pine Grove, the Pine Grove Masonic Lodge #409 F. & A.M., a social member of Pine Grove VFW and Pine Grove American Legion, and the Moose Lodge.
Albert lived a good life. He was a devoted husband and loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed many outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, and yard work. When age stopped him from doing many of the activities that he enjoyed, you could see him riding around Swatara Village on his scooter and talking with all of his friends.
Preceding him in death was a son David Brand and a sister Louise Shull.
Surviving are his wife of 66 years, Kathleen Flagler Brand, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 11:30 A.M. at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 312 S. Tulpehocken St., Pine Grove with Pastor Brian Beissel officiating. Surviving, in addition to his parents, are three brothers, Alec, Colby, and Dakota Carl; a half sister and brother, Emmaleigh and Caiden Carl; grandparents, Kenneth and June Carl of Pine Grove, Raymond and Vicki Hoppes of Orwigsburg, Michael and Doreen Derfler of Pine Grove; a great grandmother, Virginia Derfler of Pine Grove; aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was a member of the PA Trappers Association, where he was President from 1978 to 1985, a member of the NRA and a member of the North America Collectors Association. He loved the outdoors, hunting fishing, trapping, and working in the yard. He was also an avid Phillies Fan.
Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, was a brother Duane Dissinger.

Preceding him in death were two sisters, Marie Hoke and Sandra Kroh Freeman.
Surviving are two sons, Jamie Hoke and husband Robert D. Miller, Justin Hoke and companion Chelsea Wetzel, both of Pine Grove; a granddaughter, Raurie Hoke; a sister Janice and husband George Gately of Primrose; a brother Mark Hoke and companion Betsy Moyer of Fredericksburg; nieces and nephews.
