Miller, who preceded her in death. To their union ten children were born. Sister Miller enjoyed baking and sewing for her offspring and community. Mrs. Miller departed her earthly life for her Heavenly Home on Monday, January 25, 2016. The presence of her loving and kind spirit will be missed by her family and community. This matriarch leaves five generations to carry on her legacy--ten children: Annie Sue Baker, Glenn Miller (Betty), George Miller (Barbara), all of Riviera Beach, Florida, Vera Johnson (Willie Lee) of Detroit, Michigan, Willie Miller (Juanita), Lillie Thomas (Clifford), Belinda Miller, Shirley Thompson, all of Fowlstown, Georgia, Wannie Mae Pearson, and James Miller (Mary), both of Bainbridge, Georgia; thirty-one grandchildren; thirty-seven great grandchildren; thirty-one great-great grandchildren; and one great-great-great grandchild. Obituary Preview: MRS. RUTHIE MAE TYLER passed away on Friday, January 22, 2016. Born September 23, 1923, she was the thirteenth and last child of Rev. John and Mrs. Fannie Marshall of Fowlstown, Georgia. Ruthie was a lifelong resident of Bainbridge, Georgia and was educated in the Decatur County School System. She was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church, where she served as a secretary. Later in life, Ruthie joined John the Baptist Missionary Baptist Church. The former Miss Marshall married Eula Tyler in 1943. They remained married until his passing. Ruthie worked for the Decatur County School System. She was a housewife and mother of four children: Ulysees, Jeanette, Barbara, and Arthur. In addition to being a loving and devoted wife and mother, Mrs. Tyler was a faithful friend to many who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eula Tyler, and daughter, Jeanette Tyler. She leaves to cherish her memories three children: Ulysees Tyler, Barbara Yates, both of Bainbridge, Georgia, and Arthur Wilcox of Quincy, Florida; and son-in-law, Vernon Yates of Bainbridge, Georgia. She also leaves behind her many grandchildren, including Rebecca Mohammed of Bainbridge, Georgia, Vernon Yates Jr., Michelle Tyler, both of Brockton, Massachusetts, Kenny Jones of Bainbridge, Georgia, Valerie Tyler, Andre Tyler, Ulysees Tyler Jr., all of Ft. Obituary Preview: On Saturday, September 19, 2015, God dispatched an angel who quietly called upon Mother Itra L. Moore from her home in Fowlstown, GA. Itra Moore, was born December 25, 1911 to the late Dec. Henry and Amelia Conyers. In 1945 Mother Moore became a member of St. Thomas M. B. Church were she served faithfully for seventy years. She served under the leadership of the late Rev. Cox, late Rev. H.B. Jeffery, Rev. Bobby Powell, the late Rev. Edward Greer, and the current leadership of Rev. Willie G. Smiley. Mother Moore wore many hats serving on the Kitchen Committee, Deaconess Board, and as the Mother of the Church. In October, 1941 the late Dec. Lorenza Moore Sr. and Mother Moore was joined in Holy Matrimony, and to this union five children were born. One preceded her in death the late Earnest Woodard (late Lousie). One son-in-law, Alfred Barnes preceded her in death, and a devoted pet Chip. She leaves to cherish her memories two sons: Lorenza Moore Jr., Atlanta, GA, and Henry David Moore, Sr. (Betty) Fowlstown, GA; and two daughters: Irene Barnes Fowlstown, GA, and JoAnne (Dan) Conley, Attapulgus, GA.
