He is predeceased by his mother Verna and sister Connie.
Kurt was a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and spent 30+ years employed in the aviation industry for Delta Airlines, a field he greatly enjoyed. If you asked Kurt about nearly any airplane, he could tell you something about it.
Kurt was also an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed vacationing in the mountains. He loved the simple things in life like sitting on the front porch chairs with a great cup of coffee and someone to talk to, Good and Plenty candies, dark chocolate, and dinner out with family.
Kurt took great pride in his family, especially his two children. He always wanted the best for them. He always took extra time with Carson who has special needs, teaching him patiently. He was also there when Allison graduated from Michigan Technological University, as a beaming proud parent who guided her all through school and helped her along her career path.
Throughout his life Kurt loved the Lord. He will be greatly missed.
