Obituary Preview: Karen L. Walize, 66, of Watsontown, died on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at her home.
Born September 4, 1957 in Lewisburg, she was a daughter of the late Richard and Patricia (Nunn) Muffly. On September 15, 1979 she married the former David Walize, who preceded her in death April 12, 2023. Together they celebrated 43 years of marriage.
Karen was a 1975 graduate of Milton High School. She graduated from Central Penn Business School, Harrisburg with a degree in court reporting.
She worked as a secretary for Davis, Davis and Kaar, Milton for many years. Most recently, Karen worked as a customer service representative for the former Grizzly Industrial, Inc.
Karen was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, now Milton Lutheran Church. Karen was also a member of the Watsontown Chapter #282 Order of the Eastern Star and enjoyed helping her husband with the Watsontown Lions Club.
She was very skilled at crocheting and needlework, often making various pieces of clothing for family and friends.
Karen was a season ticket holder for Penn State Football and enjoyed many trips to the games.
Most importantly, she loved her family and spending time with them.
Surviving are two sisters, Greta Weber, of Maryland and Karla Bingaman, of Milton; two nephews, Jason and Jacob Derr; one niece, Miranda Bingaman and five great-nieces and nephews, Alexis, Kolbie, Stella, Sophia and Madison.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 20 at Grenoble Funeral Home & Crematory, 308 Main St., Watsontown with the Rev. James R. Ritter, officiating. An Order of the Eastern Star service will be held prior to the service.

Linda K. Jamison - June 09, 1948 - March 17, 2024

Obituary Preview: Linda K. Jamison, 75 of Montgomery, died on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at her residence.
Born June 9, 1948 in Lewisburg, she was a daughter of the late James E. and Esther Mae (Wertz) Troxell.  On October 23, 1965 she married Charles Daniel Jamison, who preceded her in death on March 30, 1989. Together they celebrated 23 years of marriage. Linda later married Rodney Kerstetter, who survives, on June 20, 2007.  Together they celebrated nearly 17 years of marriage.
Linda attended Montgomery Schools. She worked for West Pharmaceutical Services, Williamsport, for 43 years before retiring in 2010.
She loved getting her hair done every week and rarely missed an appointment.
Linda enjoyed visiting her son and his family at their camper and going for ice cream nearly every night with her husband.
Most importantly, she cherished her time spent taking care of her family.
Surviving are one son Daniel S. Jamison and his wife, Sue, of Montgomery; two stepchildren, Rodney J. Kerstetter and his wife, Angela, of Riverside and Dawn K, Kerstetter, of New York; two brothers, James Troxell, Jr. and Rick Troxell and his wife, Denise, all of Montgomery; one sister, Mary Hill and her husband, Robert, of Allenwood; one grandson, Daniel K. Jamison, of Muncy; 3 step grandchildren, Dustin R. Stackhouse, of Mill Hall, Brandon Kerstetter, of Milton and Samantha Beck, of NY.
In addition to her parents and first husband, she was predeceased by a sister, Judy Fisher and step grandson, Kirk Andrew Stackhouse.
Friends will be received Friday, March 22 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Grenoble Funeral Home & Crematory, 308 Main St. Watsontown, where the funeral will be held at 11 a.m. with the Rev. John E. Lee, retired United Methodist Minister, officiating.

Nelle Fairchild Rote - May 23, 1930 - March 15, 2024

Obituary Preview: With loving remembrance, we announce the passing of our mother, Nelle Fairchild Rote, on March 15, 2024 at the age of 93.  She departed peacefully after living a full life of love, kindness and unwavering strength.
Nelle was born on May 23, 1930, in McEwensville, PA, a daughter of the late Phebe (Fisher) Fairchild and Edwin Fairchild, her beloved father, who also died on March 15 years ago.  She was also the niece of the well known WWI Nurse, Helen Fairchild.
Nelle was a 1948 graduate of Watsontown High School and pursued her secondary education at the former Williamsport School of Commerce, Bucknell University, Pennsylvania State University and Susquehanna University.  She made a career in writing, editing and consulting with publishers.
Nelle’s life-long aspiration was to publish a collection of letters she saved of her aunt, Nurse Helen Fairchild, who died on the front line in WWI from gas exposure in an operating tent.  She penned an article published in the DAR magazine, and then wrote a 384 page book Nurse Helen Fairchild WWI 1917-1918.  Nelle went on to commemorate Helen’s sacrifice by getting the bridge in Helen’s hometown named after her, the Nurse Helen Fairchild Memorial Bridge in Watsontown, PA.  Nelle’s lasting legacy is the fact Helen’s story has now been told throughout the world.
She was a member of the National Museum of Women in the Arts, Washington, DC, and a charter sponsor for the Women in the Military Service for the American Memorial at Arlington National Cemetery.  She was a lifetime member of the Marine Corps League Auxiliary, a 60 year member and regent of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Shikelimo Chapter, where she received the American Woman in History Medal.  Nelle was a member of the Pennsylvania Military Museum, the Warrior Run Fort Freeland Heritage Society, the Western Front Association, the American Legion Auxiliary of Lewisburg, the Civic Club of Lewisburg, and the Society of Professional Journalists.
She is survived by three loving children, Harry E. (Sue) Hefty, John B. (Rita) Hefty, and Susan E. Hefty DeBartolo; 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her late husbands, John A. Hefty and Keith Rote.
A Celebration of Nelle’s life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Grenoble Funeral Home & Crematory, 308 Main St. Watsontown, PA.  Burial will follow in the Watsontown Cemetery.

Helen L. Rohm - August 09, 1932 - February 09, 2024

Obituary Preview: Helen Lois Rohm, 91, of Muncy, PA, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, February 9, 2024. She peacefully passed away in the comfort of home, lovingly surrounded by family.
Born August 9, 1932, in South Williamsport, she was one of 11 children and fifth youngest daughter of the late George LeRoy and Mabel Maude (Calvin) McGinniss.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Carlton Rohm, on March 5, 2001. They celebrated 48 years of marriage on July 26, 2000.
Helen was a 1950 graduate of South Williamsport High School. After graduation she worked as a secretary/bookkeeper for Grit Publishing and in years following she continued to work in secretarial positions at Sprout Waldron, Richard Michael Insurance Co., Attorneys William & Smay, as well as John Bruch Insurance Co.
Helen loved bowling, doing puzzles, playing cards and board games with family, friends and especially her grandchildren. In later years she looked forward to every Thursday afternoon when her youngest brother Jim and sister-in-law Margie would come play board games and do puzzles. Helen also enjoyed cooking, reading and playing doubles tennis with her cousin Marie Wertman.
Music was always a very important part of Helen’s life. Whether, as a young girl, singing with her sister Lila on the local radio station or later in life being part of a trio at church, with best friends Chloe Mitchell and Carol Jones. Helen’s love of hymns and most especially the Gaither’s were something that brought her great joy. Helen also loved to camp and travel with her husband. They wintered for many years in Florida. After her husband’s passing, Helen then traveled with her sister Mabel and beloved niece Jeanne.
Over the years, Helen volunteered at numerous places, which included Good News Clubs as well as Pregnancy Care Center, now known as Expectations, in Williamsport.
Helen was a charter member of Grace Baptist Church, Muncy, where she sang in the choir, taught Sunday School, was a Youth Group Leader and also helped with the VBS programs.
Surviving are her four daughters, Connie (Jim) Nuss, of Muncy, Cathy (Stan) Hurst, of Carlisle, Sharon (Rev. Mark) Inman, of Michigan, and Laura Wertz, of Muncy; three sisters-in-law, Margie McGinniss, Tanya Hendershot and Karla Rohm-Hanner; 8 beloved grandchildren, Jennifer (Kevin) Noll, Michelle (David) Forsythe, Erin (Andrew) Weber, Jason (Karen) Nuss, Kyle (Katie) Inman, Joshua (Abigail) Hurst, Courtney Shoemaker, and Dana (Samantha) Inman; and 19 beloved great-grandchildren, Elijah Noll, Rebecca Noll, Ryan Forsythe, Aaron John Forsythe, Carter Forsythe, Elise Forsythe, Ezra Nuss, Kaylee Nuss, Emma Weber, Madison Weber, Landon Weber, Josie Inman, Beckett Inman, Lucy Inman, Leland Inman, Rory Inman, Radley Inman, Aubrey Shoemaker and Cooper May. Helen’s grandchildren were such a joy to her life. Each one was so dearly loved and will always have sweet memories of their Meemaw.
In addition to her parents and husband, John, Helen was predeceased by five brothers: George, Raymond, Thomas, James and Donnie; five sisters, Margaret, Mildred, Mabel, Lila and Ruth. Helen is survived by and will be dearly missed by many loving nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at Grace Baptist Church, 5471 Clarkstown Road, Muncy, where the funeral will be held at 11 a.m. with Rev. Charles Teffeteller and Dr. Harry Dilcher, officiating.
Burial will follow the service at the Muncy Cemetery.
The family will provide the flowers and suggests memorial contributions in Helen’s name be made to UPMC Susquehanna Homecare and Hospice. Patricia D. Brooke Hanner - May 27, 1928 - February 02, 2024

Obituary Preview: Patricia D. Brooke Hanner, 95, formerly of Montoursville, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024 at home with her family and beloved dog Darby by her side.
Born May 27, 1928 in Montoursville, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Harriet (Wilt) Foster.  She married her first husband, John L. Brooke who preceded her in 1983, and later her second husband, Marlin D. “Sonny” Hanner Sr. who preceded her in 2020.
Pat attended school in Montoursville and worked many years at the former GTE Sylvania, Montoursville.  She also spent many years caregiving and homemaking for family and friends.
Pat formerly attended Williamsport Assembly of God and most recently, Delaware Run Wesleyan Church, Watsontown.
Over the years, she loved to attend her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren’s sporting events including football, baseball, basketball and wrestling matches  She was an avid Penn State football and wrestling fan, a New York Yankees fan and a Pittsburgh Steelers fan.  Pat enjoyed listening to audio books and gospel music. She also enjoyed camping and traveling, including many trips to Myrtle Beach.
Surviving are one son, Jerry (Brendi) Brooke, of Watsontown; one daughter-in-law, Melanie (James) Brooke, of Montoursville; five grandchildren, Stephen (Karie) Brooke, Kevin (Kelsey) Brooke, Kristin (Travis) Stevenson, Kortney (Shane) Snyder, Bryson (Erika) Brooke; and eight great-grandchildren, Cadence, Reyna Peyton, Hanna, Arianna, Logan, Jaxon and Julian.
She is also survived by those whom helped her in loving ways too numerous to mention including three neices - Donna (Ron) Raudenbush, Diane (Craig) Rooker and Pat Follmer; a nephew Hank (Roxy) Chapman and neighbors Sue Wolfe and Bob and Beth Russell.
In addition to her husbands, she was predeceased by one son, James Brooke (2016) and seven siblings: Theodore, John and Allen Foster, Alice Fuller, Ruth Egli, Joyce Rood and Jeannette Dittmar.
A celebration of Pat’s life will be held on Sunday, February 18th at 3 pm at Delaware Run Wesleyan Church, 5570 Musser Lane, Watsontown.  Pastor's Mike Reece and Darrin Mitchley will be officiating.  Family and friends are invited to a reception of food and fellowship following the service at the Family Life Center behind the church.

In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Ray W. and Violet E. Horner and maternal grandparents, Lee E. and Nancy K. Haines.

Obituary Preview: Linda M. Posten, 81, of Williamsport, died on Monday, January 22, 2024.
She was born June 17, 1942 in Lewisburg, a daughter of the late Paul L. and Mary Kathryn (McCormick) Brungard. She married Tom Posten, who passed away in 1989.
Linda was a 1960 graduate of Milton High School.   She worked for over 45 years in the loan and credit card departments for several banks, starting out first as a bank teller in Milton.  She then worked in western Pennsylvania at the same bank for nearly 30 years in the loan department, then the credit card department as a credit card specialist.  She enjoyed the in-person customer service aspect of the jobs.
Linda not only loved to read, but also loved history.  She looked forward to completing daily crossword puzzles. Linda enjoyed crocheting, embroidering, wood refinishing, and restoring linens. She maintained items in an antique/flea market booth for years.  She also volunteered at women’s shelters in various capacities.
Surviving are one son, Brad Reedy; three daughters, Pamela Kelly, Deidre Wauhop, and Tina Skinner; two brothers, Bill and Richard Brungard; two sisters, Gail Cunningham and Kathy Brungard; three grandchildren, Nicole Reedy, Tiffany Marino, and Aaron Cook; six great-grandchildren, Tiffany, Natalie, Heaven, Leia, Lacey, and Danny.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

Born December 17, 1947 in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Clarence E. Schaeffer and Mary K. (Fisher) Schaeffer, who survives.  On June 3, 1967 she married David Bushaw, who preceded her in death on December 6, 1993.
Deborah was a 1965 graduate of Warrior Run High School. She worked as a Home Inspector for Crest Homes for many years. She later worked as a waitress at Bonanza, where she retired.
Deborah enjoyed spending time in the outdoors. She had a very outgoing personality and loved to make others laugh.  Deborah loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving, in addition to her mother, are one son David Bushaw, of Watsontown; two brothers, Terry Schaeffer, of Mifflinburg and Randy Schaeffer, of Watsontown; two grandchildren, Amber Anna Mae and Lincoln Craig.
In addition to her father and husband, she was predeceased by three sisters, Wendy Sue Little, Angela Dershem, and Holly Malone; one brother, Gary Fisher; and one brother-in-law, William Dershem.
A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 10 at Grenoble Funeral Home & Crematory, 308 Main St., Watsontown.

Obituary Preview: Charles Liam Paul Klinger passed away on December 29, 2023.
He was the son of Kevin Klinger and Johanna (Smith) Klinger of Milton.
Charles was born on December 25, 2023, the most precious Christmas surprise his parents have ever received. Though his sweet life was short, he touched the hearts of many, even those he had never met.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his paternal grandparents Willard 'Lee' Klinger Jr and Lori (Keiffer) Klinger of Northumberland, and maternal grandparents Alvie and Karen (Smith) Smith of Mifflinburg. Also surviving are his three great-grandparents, Brenda Keiffer of Watsontown, Connie Klinger of Trevorton and C. James Smith of Mifflinburg, as well as aunts and uncles Isaac and Beth (Wulff) Smith of Greentown, Shane & Emily (Smith) Chamberlin of Turbotville, and Aimee Smith of Muncy.
He was welcomed into the presence of Jesus by his great-grandparents Charles Robert 'Bob' Keiffer, Willard Klinger, Alvah & Anna Smith, and Nancy Smith.
There will be no formal services; however friends, family and those wishing to offer condolences are welcome to attend a celebration of life potluck gathering at Christ Wesleyan Church, 363 Stamm Road Milton at 3pm on January 7, 2024.

Obituary Preview: Nancy J. Buck, 86, a longtime resident of Watsontown, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Sunday, November 5, 2023 after a long illness.
Born May 15, 1937 in White Deer, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Ida Mae (Prowant) Bastian.  On December 26, 1956 she married Norman E. “Bucky” Buck, who passed away on September 26, 2004.
Nancy was a 1955 graduate of Milton High School.  She and her husband were longtime owners of Norman E. Buck Plumbing and Heating as well as the Watson Inn, Lewisburg Hotel and the Mifflinburg Hotel.
She was a charter and longtime member of the former Watsontown Lioness Club, now the Watsontown Centennial Lioness Lions Club.
Nancy leaves behind three sons and their families, Norm Jr. and Karen Buck, Eddy Buck, and Neil “Rick” and Tracy Buck; two granddaughters and their families, Nicole Buck and Karen Wright, and Jennifer and Jordan Zankey; two great-granddaughters, Leonora Frances and Carmela Violet; a nephew who she raised like a fifth son, Marley Bastian and his wife, Shirley, and their family; numerous other family and friends, including Brittany Gowin (her caregiver) and her family who were close friends with Nancy the past five years; one brother, Marlin “Bud” Bastian and his wife, Joan; a sister-in-law, Marina Bastian; and a brother-in-law, Dennis Confer.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by one son, Nevin Buck; three brothers, George, Clarence and Raymond Bastian; and two sisters, Betty Krick and Penny Confer.
Friends will be received on Monday, November 13 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Grenoble Funeral Home & Crematory, 308 Main St. Watsontown, where the funeral will be held at 1 p.m. with Rev. Paul Smith, officiating.
Private burial will be held in Highland Cemetery, New Columbia.
The family will provide the flowers and suggests contributions in Nancy’s memory be made to Alzheimer and Dementia research and care.
Nancy will be missed by her many friends and acquaintances who will long remember her kindness, gentle humor-always with a smile and her wonderful laughter.

Born June 27, 1957 in Watsontown, she was a daughter of the late William Moore and Nancy (Fisher) Massoloti. On July 15, 1995 she married Dennis Derr, who survives. Together they celebrated 28 years of marriage.
Jill was graduate of Warrior Run High School.
She enjoyed gardening, doing crosswords and going to the beach with her family.
Surviving , in addition to her husband, are two daughters, Cori Brago, of Vermont and Kelli Brago, of Moscow; three step children, Dennis Derr II, of West Grove, Jennifer Derr, of Forty Fort and Terry Derr, of Milton; step mother, Virginia Moore, of McEwensville; three brothers, William and Jeff Moore, of Watsontown and David Moore, of New Columbia; one sister, Pam Herman, of Milton; 10 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

He was born December 29, 1960 in Williamsport, a son of the late John E. Sr. and Betty Louise (Sauers) Fillman. He married Angie Masser on December 9, 1995 and together they celebrated 27 years of marriage.
John was a 1978 graduate of Williamsport High School.  He was a retired member of the Laborers Local 1108, formerly local 708, working as a general laborer and mason tender.
John had a huge heart and enjoyed woodworking and spending time outdoors.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three children, Rachel Fillman, of Allenwood, Tiffannie Mutchler, of South Williamsport, and Jordan Fillman, of Williamsport; three sisters, Gail Fox, Kim Mazzante, and Debbie Peluso, and one brother, William (Rich) Fillman, all of Williamsport; and seven grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one brother, Fred “Butch” Spong; and one sister, Carole Spong.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, October 15 at 4 p.m. at the Washington Presbyterian Church, Allenwood.

Obituary Preview: Velma Irene Benscoter, 82, formerly of West Milton, died on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at Williamsport North Rehab and Nursing Center.
She was born January 9, 1941 in Nescopeck, a daughter of the late Charles and Mildred (Kitchen) Warner.
Velma was a graduate of Nescopeck High School and later earned her Nursing degree from Danville Area School District Practical Nursing Program.  She was selected and served as a reviewer for the National Council Licensure Examination by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing Inc.
She worked many years as an LPN for Riverwoods, Lewisburg and later retired from Kramm’s Nursing Home, Watsontown.
Velma was a member of the former West Milton United Methodist Church, where she actively volunteered with different activities including bake sales.
In her free time, she enjoyed baking and sewing. She spent many evenings attending sporting events of her grandchildren during their youth.  Velma most loved spending quality time with her friends and family.
Surviving are one son, David Benscoter Sr., of Watsontown; one sister-in-law, Marion Warner, of Nescopeck; three grandchildren, Larissa Martin (Steven Spohn), David Benscoter Jr. and Alexander Benscoter; and three great-grandchildren, Noah Spohn, Karsonlee Benscoter and Ember Benscoter.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one son, Steven Benscoter; and seven brothers and sisters.
In keeping with her wishes, services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
Contributions in Velma’s memory may be made to St. Judes Research Hospital.

Obituary Preview: Kevin L. Horlacher, 65, of Milton, formerly of Lewisburg died Monday, October 2, 2023 at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.
He was born December 3, 1957 in Camden, NJ, a son of the late Marie C. (Stitzel) Horlacher and David E. Horlacher, who survives. On September 3, 1977 he married the former Ruth E. Conard, who survives. Together they celebrated 46 years of marriage.
Kevin was a 1976 graduate of Selinsgrove High School, where he excelled in running as a member of the cross country and track teams. He worked as a plumber and pipe fitter, beginning his career at D.O.W. Inc, and then working for Silvertip, Inc. both of Lewisburg.
He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Mifflinburg and recently attended Christ Wesleyan Church, Milton.
Prior to Kevin's lightening strike accident in 1991, he enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, bicycling, especially on their trip to Vermont, fishing, spending time with his family and playing with his kids. In his last 32 years of life, Kevin enjoyed spending time with his wife, grandchildren, family and friends, watching the Dallas Cowboy games, and spending time outdoors.
Surviving in addition to his wife and father are his step mother, Deb Horlacher, of Westford, Mass; three children, Kyle Horlacher, of Lewisburg, Tim (Maryssa) Horlacher, of Selinsgrove and Sarah (Jon) Clemens, of New Columbia; one brother, David (Barb) Horlacher, of Richmond, Vir.; two sisters, Dianne (Rick) Showers, of Lebanon and Carol (Frank) Rini, of Albany, NY; and eight grandchildren, Raelyn, Serena and Dakota Clemens, Dorothy, Kallen and Delilah Horlacher and Leona and Laurence Horlacher. In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by an uncle, Stephen Horlacher.,

Lonnie worked with his brothers in the drywall business for many years. Most recently, he worked at Great Dane, Danville.
He was handy and could fix anything. Lonnie always saw the value in broken things. He also enjoyed playing poker.
Lonnie loved music, especially the Grateful Dead. He followed the band around in the early 90's and continued that love of music by attending and working security at many PA music festivals.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his longtime girlfriend, Kimberly Shultz, of Montandon, four children, Destiny Lovett, of Jersey Shore, Angel Fowler, of Williamsport, Dylan Milheim, of Montandon and Emily Valiquette, of Northumberland; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Bill and Anita Milheim, of Milton, David, Jr. and Brandy Fay, of Milton, Skylar Milheim, of the Poconos and Shawn and Krystal Fay, of Turbotville; a step father, David Fay, Sr., of Watsontown; four grandchildren, Eli, Cooper, Taylor and Milo and his cats Chinacat, Sophie and Boogeloo and his buddy Arlo.

He was born May 23, 1988 in Abilene, TX, a son of Larry Michael and Sabrina (Miller) Pasko, who both survive.
Travis attended Milton Schools and later Fortis Institute.  He owned and operated his own business, Air Motion Performance.
Travis had his HVAC certification and took pride in his hard work as well as teaching others.  He was extremely intelligent and had a rare gift of walking into a room and completely captivating people.  He was outgoing and cared so much for everyone.  Travis also loved animals and as a child would help nurse them back to health when injured.
In his free time, he enjoyed working on scooters and four wheelers, as well as trips to Las Vegas.
Travis left his mark on this world by using his strength and motivation to always do better and help others, and will now rest easy with no more suffering or pain.
Surviving in addition to his parents are two stepfathers, Stephen Pasko and Burten Fiester; a grandmother, Nancy Miller; five sisters, Kristen Michael, Erica Michael, Tesse (Levi) Swenson, Lianna (Frank) Schaefer; and Samantha (Shawn Bilby) Fiester; and his canine companion, Lord Brutus.
He was predeceased by grandparents, George and Tesse Michael, LeRoy Miller, and Harry and Frances Fiester.
Friends will be received from Noon to 1p.m. on Monday, September 25, at Grenoble Funeral Home & Crematory, 308 Main St. Watsontown, where a funeral will be held at 1 p.m.

She was a former member of the American Legion Post 1, Williamsport, and the Edward J. Smith Post 3428 V.F.W., Muncy.
In earlier years, Della enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving are three sons, Don, Dwayne and Darrin Williams; and four grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by one granddaughter, Dee Williams.

He was born March 6, 1944 in Lewisburg, a son of the late Clarence and Mary (Griffith) Erdley. On April 27, 1968 he married the former Yvonne Hartman, who survives. Together they celebrated 55 years of marriage.
David was a graduate of Lewisburg High School and the Williamsport Technical School before serving honorably in the United States Marine Corps Reserves. He later worked as a commercial truck driver for Frito-Lay, where he retired.
David was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church, Montoursville, and the Lewisburg Charity Lodge #144 F&AM.
He enjoyed all things outside, including yard work. He was family oriented and enjoyed quality time with them. David was humorous and joyful to be around. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers’ fan and enjoyed watching games with his family.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three daughters, Nicole Erdley, of Watsontown, Renee Eakin and her husband Todd, of Lincoln University, and Yvette Erdley and her significant other Benjamin Gough, Jr., of Montoursville; one sister-in-law, Mim; six grandchildren, Diana, Brenna, Jacob, Joshua, Tyler and Sophia; and one great grandson, Jackson.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers and one sister-in-law, Harold Erdley and Larry and Karen Erdley; one sister and brother-in-law, Janet and Harold Herman; and one grandson, Alexander.

She was born in Watsontown on July 8, 1935 a daughter of the late Grant and Mary (Bennett) Arnold.  In 1953 she married Lee Jake French, who passed away in 1984.
Madaleine lived her entire life in the Watsontown and New Columbia areas.  She was a 1953 graduate of Watsontown High School and worked for Philco-Ford, then Zenith, Cabinet Industries and retired from Riverwoods.
She enjoyed baking (specifically Apple Dumplings and Raisin Filled Cookies), gardening in her many flower beds, old style country music, going to carnivals to watch live music and especially spending time with her grandchildren playing cards, games or just visiting.
Madaleine was of the Christian faith.
Surviving are her sons, Douglas French (and wife Terri) of New Columbia, Gary French of Milton, and Sam French (and wife Sharon) of Milton; daughters, Karen Buck (and husband Norm Jr.) of Watsontown, and Paula Musser (and son-in-law Bruce Musser) of New Columbia; grandchildren, Danielle Stewart (and husband Dave Knox), Alicia French, Jacob French (and wife Monica), Courtney French, Shari French, Cassidy Cachinnare (and husband Tariq), Nathan Musser and Koltin Musser; sister, Shirley Snyder (and husband Harvey) of Turbotville; brothers Charles Arnold of Watsontown and Grant Arnold (and wife Towanna) of Milton; plus several nieces and nephews.

Born April 19, 1928 in Sullivan County, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Delia (Peterman) Stiger. On June 29, 1946 she married Donne L. King, who survives.
Together they celebrated 77 years of marriage.
Marian was a 1946 graduate of Sonestown High School. She worked several years at International before becoming a housewife and raising a family.
Marian enjoyed gathering with friends and family.  She was always ready for a card game of Setback, 500, Hearts, and Bridge.  She made many delicious pies and cookies. Marian water skied, square danced, bowled, road snowmobile, ice skated, and was proud to have been a cheer leader for Sonestown High.  Marian enjoyed making a variety of crafts while watching baseball on TV.  She and her husband enjoyed traveling in their motor home seeing most of the USA, Canada, Mexico, & learning the hula in Hawaii. They were charter members of a local Susquehanna Winnebago club and members of the Pennsylvania state club where they held offices and organized many events through the years.
Surviving in addition to her husband are one daughter, Vicki Waldman, of Montoursville; one brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Rita Stiger, of Waynesboro; three grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one son, David King; one daughter, Suzanne Lucas; and two sisters, Nina Foust and Pat McClintock.

Born September 29, 1949 in Lewisburg, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Jennie (Rider) Young. On July 24, 1971 she married Wayne E. Burrows. Together they celebrated 52 years of marriage.
Victoria was a 1967 graduate of Milton High School. Earlier in life she worked as a cost accountant at Furmano Foods in Northumberland.
She enjoyed spending time with her friends on many beach trips as well as creating a book club and reading together. Victoria was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan and watched many games with her husband. She was adored by her husband and will be truly missed.
Surviving in addition to her husband, are one son, Christopher Burrows and his companion Lisa Miller, of Milton; one daughter, Heather Brown and her husband Josh, of New Columbia; one brother, Frederick Young, of New Columbia; one sister, Virginia Eddinger, of West Milton; and four grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three brothers, Robert Kenneth Young, Jr., Robert Kenneth Young, III, and Charles Scott Young.

She was born on April 28, 1961, a daughter of Alberta (Hamm) Hamilton and Norman Hamilton. She married Donald Wilson on August 22, 2002. Together they celebrated 22 years of marriage.
Shari a beautiful woman and a beautiful mother, with the most ice blue eyes anyone could ever have. She was a beloved Mother, Grandmother, Wife, Sibling and a dear friend to all.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her seven children, John Harvey (Jen), Michael Harvey, Timothy Harvey (Kristen), Christian Wilson, Kerstin Green, Elizabeth Green and “Cassey” Echo Williams (Tristan); 16 grandchildren, Timmy, Isaiah(Hailey), Elijah, Zach, Malachi, Brennan, Zoey, Peyton, Dylon, Easton, Josh, Judith, Eric, Nevaeh, Kinsley and Noah; eight siblings, Charles, Norman, Larry, Lonnie, Paul, Wayne, Sarah and Bobbi; and many nieces, nephews and others.
Shari was loving and dear, even when mad at someone she made sure to tell them she loved them. Shari was an amazing person altogether and a wonderful mother at that.
She was the type of person to lift your spirits on the darkest days. Shari really tried to care for everyone, even while she was battling cancer.
We find peace in knowing Shari is with the lord and in no pain and is no longer suffering. She will live on, in our hearts and memories. Shari is loved and will continue to be missed by many.

Gary loved working on lawnmowers and cars. He also enjoyed woodworking and target practice.
Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are three children, Gary Mosteller Jr., April (Daniel Douglas Jr.) Mosteller and Angela (Steven) Miller; four step children, Sam (Heather) Mordan Jr., Judson (Brandi) Mordan, Joshua (Kelly) Mordan and Jeremiah (Stephanie) Mordan; three sisters, Linda (Randy) Kauffman, Cheryl (Tim) Martin and Annette Miller; six grandchildren, ten step grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Charles A. Wright - March 19, 1940 - July 13, 2023

Obituary Preview: Charles A. “Pete” Wright, 83, a lifetime resident of Turbotville, and most recently of Connecticut, has gone to be with his heavenly father on July 13, 2023, joining his wife and eldest son.
Born March 19, 1940, in Watsontown, he was a son of the late Boyd and Marie (Gauger) Wright.  He and his wife, the former Louise “Lois” Choplick, were married on September 14, 1963, and together they celebrated nearly 51 years of marriage. Charlie, or Pete as many people knew him in his early years, was a pillar in the community for nearly half a century.  He was employed by Turbotville National Bank for 50 years before his retirement in 2017. Charlie always arrived first at work and made sure coffee was made before anybody else arrived.  His co-workers and friends would describe him as easy-going and a joy to be around.  Charlie loved to banter and made friends with everybody he came across.
He served on the Board of Directors for the Turbotville National Bank through 2022, was actively involved with the Lions Club, and previously served as treasurer for both Zion Lutheran Church, where he was a member, and the Turbotville Cemetery.
Surviving are two children, Donna Dietterick, of Milford, CT, and Richard Wright, of White Deer; one daughter-in-law, Bonita Wright, of Durham, NC; six grandchildren, Charlon, Danielle, Jordin (Ron), Zayne, Mason, and Sarah; two great-grandchildren, Gianna and Vincent; and his beloved cat companion, Simon.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by one son, Robin Wright. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday July 19 at Grenoble Funeral Home & Crematory, 308 Main St. Watsontown, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 20 with his pastor, the Rev. Erwin Roux, officiating.

He was the son of the late William and Agnes Pulsifer.
Patrick was an independent spirit and successfully ran his own business for over 40 years.  He was blessed to have many customers that he could also call friends. He was a man of great talent, ability, and intelligence, always able to find a solution to any problem that might arise.
Patrick fervently believed in seizing every day and living life to the fullest.  His life was filled with wonderful adventures and even many near death experiences.  Everyone always joked about him having nine lives.
He was a kid at heart and loved his cars, airplanes, and trains.  Children always enjoyed seeing his planes fly as they drove by his property and often stopped to see the model railroad garden he built and cared for at his home.  He was blessed to have made many wonderful friends while pursuing his hobbies.
Patrick's passing leaves his family immense gratitude for all of the amazing memories he has given them as well as heart wrenching sorrow.  His family was his greatest pride and joy.  He loved being present at his grandchildren's sporting events.  You could often find him at a ball field cheering on his favorite players.
Patrick celebrated 43 years of marriage with the love of his life, who was his constant companion and best friend.  He leaves behind his wife, 5 children, 10 grandchildren with 3 more on the way, 2 sisters, and 1 brother.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, William and Kenneth Pulsifer.
Friends will be received from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Monday, July 17 at the Grenoble Funeral Home & Crematory, 308 Main St. Watsontown, where a funeral will be held at 11:30 a.m. with the Rev. Thomas Brokaw, chaplain at Family Hospice, officiating.
