Lora Bridget Fetsko - September 15, 1961 - May 01, 2024

Departed: 05/01/2024 (Greenwood)
Obituary Preview: Lora “Lori” Bridget (Wiles) Fetsko was born on September 15th, 1961, to the late Ralph and Linda Wiles at Bethesda Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. She left this world suddenly at the age of 62 on May 1st, 2024, in the comfort of her home in Greenwood, Indiana. Lori was a supportive daughter, caring sister, devoted wife, loving mother, doting grandmother, and loyal friend whose presence will be dearly missed.
Lori grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio, graduated from Norwood High School, and received an Associate degree in Applied Business from Cincinnati Technical College. Upon graduation, she was employed as an Accounts Payable Clerk and was later promoted to Computer Operator at Mutual Manufacturing and Supply Company in Cincinnati. After marrying David, she also worked as a Computer Operator for Kerr Lakeside Incorporated in Cleveland, Ohio. On two different occasions, Lori pursued a Registered Nursing degree, carrying a 4.0 GPA at both Lakeland Community College and Ivy Tech Community College, but took a break from these pursuits to focus on her number one priority, her family. Raising her three beautiful, successful children was her proudest achievement.
Lori met David, her best friend and soulmate, 44 years ago at the University of Cincinnati. Growing up on opposite sides of Ohio, they felt the Lord had brought them together. Lori and David were married on April 26th, 1986, at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church in Cincinnati, Ohio, and celebrated 38 years of marriage. Teamwork was a staple in their marriage, and life with Lori was an adventure; there was never a dull moment. Lori’s extraordinary sense of humor and quick wit brought lots of joy and laughter to their marriage.
Lori was smart, funny, gorgeous, silly, kind, giving, and resilient. She loved those around her fiercely and unconditionally. Lori was a beautiful soul who would do anything for her family and friends. She loved bringing happiness to others through her quirky humor and random acts of kindness. She had a fun, infectious personality that made even the most mundane situations enjoyable and unpredictable. This spilled over to her nieces, nephews, and children’s friends, who knew they were always welcome in her home. In addition to being a homemaker, Lori was a domestic engineer, spearheading both school projects for her children and home improvement projects. Lori had a natural curiosity and inquisitive mind; she loved tinkering and figuring out the inner workings of contraptions to repair them.
Our precious Lori went to be with the Lord. She is at peace and will be dearly missed. Lori loved the Lord with all her heart, had an unbreakable faith, and instilled in her children strong Christian values. She ensured they received a Catholic education, with all three children graduating from both Our Lady of the Greenwood and Roncalli High School. She was a prayer warrior for those around her, always putting their needs above her own. Lori has been reunited with family and friends in the Kingdom of Heaven. The Lord has gained a beautiful angel.
She is survived by her husband, David Fetsko; children, Lauren (Charlie), Ethan, and Evan (fiancée Khyaati); beloved granddaughter, Marigold; her brother, Greg (Brenda); sisters, Alicia (Jay) and Gretchen (Frank). She also leaves behind Therese, Robert, Mary, Kevin, Sarah, Amy, Bethany, Mia, and Harper, her treasured nieces and nephews, along with many wonderful cousins.
Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, May 8th, 2024, from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Singleton and St. Pierre Funeral and Cremation Services. On Thursday, May 9th, 2024, a short viewing will take place from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Greenwood Catholic Church, followed by a funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. Lori will be laid to rest in Spring Grove Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ohio. In memory of Lori, donations can be made in the form of flowers or to Riley Children’s Foundation.

Marlene J. Weaver - November 18, 1935 - April 07, 2024

Departed: 04/07/2024 (Greenwood)
Obituary Preview: Marlene J. Weaver, age 88, gained her angel wings peacefully on Sunday, April 7, 2024, surrounded by her closest family. Better known as "Tootie" to her friends and family, she was born on November 18, 1935, in Indianapolis to Ralph Sr and Mildred (Kempter) Kenworthy and was a long-time resident of Greenwood. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Arthur Weaver, with whom she married on June 4, 1955, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Indianapolis. Arthur passed in 2022, a month before their 67th wedding anniversary.
Marlene attended Sacred Heart Catholic School from grades 1-12 and was making plans to serve the Catholic Church as a nun following graduation. Those plans were altered, however, when she was introduced to Arthur, a handsome Marine on leave at the time, by her friend Shirley Hogue. The rest, as they say, is history.
Marlene remained a devout Catholic, and truly loved and lived her faith by example to all.
She also had a deep and very special affinity to the blessed virgin mother, Mary.
Her true calling, however, was that of a loving, devoted mother, and eventually, becoming a "Nana," a role she cherished.
Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren meant the world to her; and she was present for the birth of each one.
Marlene was very faith and family focused. Her passions lay within the church and her people. She devoted time each week for years to the church's perpetual adoration chapel, and was part of the OLG parish festival each year, running the quilt booth with her sister-in-law, Jo Ann. As far as family and her beloved grandchildren, there was not an event, play, concert, or recognition ceremony that she did not attend. As previously stated, her family was everything to her, and each of them carry an unconditional love and devotion with them every day.
She also enjoyed the deep and lasting friendships she made during the many years as a member of the Tri Chi sorority. She was hard-working, well-loved, and devoted to her many friends. She also worked at the Greenwood Middle School cafeteria and retired after 30 years of service.
She was also preceded in death by parents, her brother Ralph Kenworthy Jr, sister Phyllis Bego, and nephew Ralph Kenworthy III.
She is survived by two daughters: Julie (Michael) Garrett and Laurie (Tim) Worton; six grandchildren: Wesley (Kayleen) Garrett, Whitley Holt, Michelle Hooper, Melissa (Anthony) Bensel, Benjamin Krout, and Mara (Kyle) White; eleven great-grandchildren, her beloved sister-in-law Jo Ann Kenworthy, and several nieces and nephews.
