She was a Sunday School Teacher, a member of the Ladies Missionary Fellowship, and most importantly, an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She loved Jesus with her whole heart and would tell anyone about her faith in Him. She was one of the most genuine humans on earth and became a grandma to everyone who knew her. Jacqueline was and is an inspiration to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She will be missed beyond words; to know her was to love her. She was survived by her husband of 55 years, Glen Smith, the love of her life, whom she married on February 14, 1969. She was blessed with three children, Lester Smith (Jane) of Conneaut and two daughters, Crystal Lengyel (Tom) and Taunya Smith, both of Ashtabula. She was also blessed with four grandsons, Gregory (Mellisa) Smith, Jeffrey (Katie) Smith, Benjamin (Hannah) Good, and Aaron (Peighton) Good, also three great-grandchildren, Gabriella, Elizabeth, and Malachi, whom she loved very much. Jacqueline was preceded in death by her brothers, Frances BeBout and Richard Daveno, and her sister, Jane Shultz, and is survived by Constance Taylor. A celebration of her life will take place on Thursday, February 15, 2024, 10:00 A.M., at First Grace Gospel Church, 5730 Adams Ave., Ashtabula, with her grandson, Pastor Benjamin Good, officiating.
