Christy graduated from Belmont High School and after graduation went on to continue her education to become a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Christy worked at Tishomingo Manor in Iuka, Then went to work at Tishomingo County Health Department, where she remained for 14 years. Christy also worked a part-time job at Tishomingo Community Living Center.
She confessed her hope in Christ at a young age and was a faithful member of Jones Chapel C.M.E Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Willie Mitchell and her grandparents, Avis and Vondeen Pruitt and Irene and Lester Rogers.
Christy leaves to cherish her memory to her mother, Judy Eaton and her Father, Nickie Sides; her four children: Carley Sides, Cody Sides, Cameron Sides, and Corey Sides, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.

Larry accepted Christ at a young age. He was a graduate of Biloxi High School and attended two years of college. Larry served in the Army, a Veteran.
He was a member of East 5th Street Baptist Church, where he was a member of the choir. Larry united in Holy Matrimony to Stella Patterson Wilborn. He enjoyed fishing and cooking. Larry was employed at Rib Shack until his health began to decline.
Preceding Larry in death is his parents Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie and Rosie Wilborn; two brothers, John Lee Wilborn and Jimmy Lee Wilborn, Jr.; two sisters, Bobby Jean Bircher and Doris Faye Wilborn.

He worked for many years at Town and Country Furniture and later as a general handyman and yard man, but he been disable for several years. He was an avid fan of Alabama and Dallas Cowboys football. Obituary Preview: Mr. Milton McDonald was born on March 21, 1936, to the late Kenneth McDonald and Pauline Chappell McDonald. He departed this earth on December 7, 2021 at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, MS at the age of 85.
He was educated in the public school system of Corinth, MS. He served his country in the United States Army. Upon returning home, he relocated to Chicago, IL and accepted a position at Spiegel Inc. He retired after 35 years of service and moved back to Mississippi in 2009 to take care of his sister. Milton was a member of Mount Moriah UMC Church. He love to cook, watch sports, host gatherings, traveling and going to annual HBCU classic football games. He never drove a day in his life, but he could get you ANYWHERE you needed to go. He was known as the walking GPS.
He was preceded in death by his five brothers: Kenneth Clay (KC), Guester, William Hardin (Bill), James Arther, and Robert Earl (Early); two sisters, Vennie Betts and Mae Belle Dilworth.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories to his nephews William McDonald, Corwin McDonald, and Donald Betts, a host of nieces, great nieces, great nephews, relatives, and friends.

Born in Reydell, AR, on June 25, 1933, she was a lifelong member of Macedonia MB Church who enjoyed hobbies like fishing, bingo, traveling, and crossword puzzles.
Survivors include one daughter, Valerie Burley, and four sons, Danny Burley, Dennis Burley, Anthony Edmond, and Ronald Edmond; two sisters, Alice Burley Jones and Myrtle Burley, and one brother, Willie Burley; 17 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret Harmon and Eddie Burley; one sister, Eddie Mae Wright and one brother, Joe Burley; and two sons, Willie Burley and James “Marlo” Burley.
Dr. Eric Betts will officiate the services.

James Jerome Leslie aka (Bond) was a  son, brother, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. James graduated from Thrasher High School in 1984. During this time he was  force be reckoned with on the Rebels basketball team, in which basketball remained a favorite pastime along with frequent visits to the flea-market. James enjoyed helping his grandfather (Mr. Liege) on the farm as we fishing. He loved his children and was head over heels about his grandchildren as well as his family, friends and co-workers at Corinthian Furniture, where he was a forklift operator.
James transitioned from this life on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, MS.
Preceding James in death are his paternal grandparents: Liege and Catherin Chambers, Maternal grandparents Doug and Marie Hastings-Leslie; one brother, Jerramie Farran Chambers; one son, Emmanuel Ray Leslie; three aunts: Marjorie Heavens, Bobby Chambers and  Ruby (Henry) Hurd; two uncles, James Bell and John Chambers.

Annie graduated form Tishomingo High School in 1973. She continued her education and attended Northeast MS Community College in Booneville, MS. Annie worked for many years before moving to Decatur, AL then later on to Huntsville, AL. She work at Iuka Hospital and several retail positions as well as quick service restaurants. In 1996, she moved back to Iuka, MS to take care of her mother. She retired in September of 2020 with 18 years of service. She confessed her hope in Christ at an early age and was a faithful  member at Jones Chapel C.M.E Church until she moved away.
Annie was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers: Willie J. Perkins, Prince A. Perkins, and  Willie D. Perkins, Jr., three sisters: Sallie L. Perkins, Peraline Southward and Classie R. TaBares was a well-known, all around guy; who was loved by so many.  He was one to bring the community together, with his big smile. He had the best gatherings where everyone always enjoyed themselves. TaBares was a big fan of the “Dallas Cowboys”,  he loved playing cards, working out, and shopping. TaBares loved his mother, daughters, siblings and grandchildren, he was all about family and took great care of them all.

Gerry confessed his life to Christ at an early age, and he was a member of St. Peter M.B. Church. Psalm 73:26 tells us that “my flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” God called Gerry home on September 14, 2021.
Gerry loved spending time with family and friends, fishing, and he especially enjoyed singing. He had a magical, pure heartfelt voice that could move a room. Everyone Gerry came in contact with was greeted with love and sincerity. He was an all-around athlete playing baseball, football, and basketball. Gerry was one of the best shortstops in baseball. Gerry graduated from Tishomingo High School. After high school he joined the United States Marine Corp to serve his country.
He leaves his cherished memories to his wife, Kim Allen; his only son, Brandon Allen(Carly); stepdaughter, Emily Wisdom; three brothers: Johnny Alexander, Marvin “Pete” Allen, and Phillip Allen; two sister’s: Patricia Southward and Felecia Rogers (Jason); five Grandchildren: Kaleb Moore, Ashton Dilworth, Zameriah Cater, Brandon Allen Jr., and Harlee Harris; one aunt, Maretha Allen; two Uncles: Harold “Ray” Alexander and Vester “Eddie” Alexander; A special nephew, Jerry “Juggy” Allen (Katie); and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Mary gained her wings on July 20, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Hubert and Bessie White-Dilworth.
Mary was a Kossuth, MS native, she attended Gwyn School in Kossuth. She was a member of Biggersville Pentecostal Church and her world was centered around church and reading her bible. She read Psalm 51 daily. She loved visiting the nursing homes, missionary work, flowers, cooking, shopping, spending time with her grandchildren. Our mom was a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she always put herself last. She was an exceptional and loving caregiver and nannie. She was affectionately called “Dee Dee” by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mary united in Holy Matrimony to Arthur Prather on May 26, 1962 and were married for 45 years, to this union five children were born.
She leave her loving memories to her five children: Audrey Dyer of Memphis, TN, Penny Jones of Huntsville, AL, Andrette (Rick) Epison of Owensboro, KY, Angel Turner and Phillip (Belinda) Prather both of Corinth, MS; Grandchildren: Meredith Woods, Evansville, IN, Jimmy Turner and Malik Prather both of Corinth, MS, Isaiah Howze of San Diego, CA, and Joseph Prather of Fort Benings, GA; four great grandchildren: Gabrielle, Gabriel, Micah, and Maliyah; two God children: Ashley Porter and Vonda Vance; three siblings: Rosie Williamson, Yvonne Garrett both of Huntsville, AL, Minnie Gwyne of Corinth, MS; one brother-in-law, James Prather of Jackson, TN; a special affectionate child, Mary Nancy Pittman and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
