Obituary Preview: Ina B. Boge, 94 of Rio, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2022 at Divine Rehabilitation and Nursing in Lodi. She was born December 15, 1927 in Nekoosa, the daughter of George and Winnie (Burhite) Hobart.
Ina worked in the cafeteria for Rio High School for many years. She was united in marriage to Thomas O. Boge, Sr. February 13, 1965 at North Windsor Methodist Church and she is a current member of Bonnet Prairie Lutheran Church and Ladies Aide Circle Group in Rio.
Survivors include three sons, T.O. (Cindy) Boge of Wisconsin Dells, George Babcock of Littleton, CO, and David (Barbara) Babcock of Hamilton, OH; two daughters, Jackie Boge of Rio and Leslie (James) Selkirk of Middleton; 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and one sister Harriet Hellmich of Janesville. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Thomas O. Boge, Sr., one stillborn baby, one daughter, one daughter-in-law, one brother, and three sisters.
Private services will be held and interment will take place at Bonnet Prairie Cemetery in Rio.

Obituary Preview: Lois Lorraine Dott, 91 of Rio, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at her home. She was born March 13, 1931 in Sun Prairie, the daughter of John and Sylvia (Reierson) Kenefick.
Lois attended school in Rio, graduating in 1949, she then went on to Columbia County Normal and graduated in 1951. She taught for three years in a country/one-room school. She met Jim Dott on a blind date and they were married in 1951, they lived in Hartford and then in Rio where they raised their family. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, baptized, confirmed, and married there. She was involved in many church activities. Lois loved to entertain, often serving her specialty banana bread and Chex mix. She enjoyed ceramics, playing cards, bingo, trips “up north”; family vacations were always memorable.
You could always find Lois at her children's, grandchildren’s, and great-grandchildren’s sporting events, concerts, and other school activities. Many hours were spent watching her birds and enjoying her flower gardens. Lois did a lot of substitute teaching and worked alongside the girls at Tender Times Childcare.  She and Jim also spent many years together working at Jim’s Food Center.
Survivors include her children; Connie (Ken) Denure, Lola (Wes) Bortz, Lynn (Daniel) Bubolz, and Thomas (Kira) Dott; daughter-in-law Barb Dott (Dave); grandchildren Matthew (Amber), Sophie, and Ella Denure; Sara Denure (Matt); Brian (Alissa) Oliver and Henry Dott; Jason (Erinn) and Ryland Dott; Aaron (Lindsay) and Jackson Dott, Melissa Benisch (Jim); Aubrey and Annalynn Benisch; Celina (Eric), Benjamin and Caleb Alvin; and Brayden Dott (Jessica); ten great grandchildren; brothers; Don Kenefick, and Loren (Jay) Kenefick; sister Carol DeMeo (Paul), sisters-in-law; Dona Kenefick, and Gerry Dott; brother-in-law Robert Dott and many other relatives and dear friends. Obituary Preview: Douglas Frederick Siebert, 60 of Madison, passed away Friday, April 8, 2022 at his home. He was born October 11, 1961 in Madison.
Doug looked forward to any family gathering that took place. He never forgot a birthday and looked forward to sending cards to family for many various holidays. He loved his movie, record, and CD collections. Doug loved sketching and painting and had been doing so since a young boy. He took much pleasure in visiting his nieces and nephews. He also loved attending his church.
Survivors include his sisters; Kathy (Kent) Hepler, Wendy Siebert, and Diana (Mark) Peterson, many nieces, nephews as well as many great nieces and nephews and his best friend of 40 years; Cliff Johnson. Doug was preceded in death by his parents; Joseph Richard and Lucile Fay Siebert.
Memorial service will be held Saturday, April 23 at 11 AM at Lake Edge Lutheran Church in Madison with Rev. Justin Dittrich officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 until the time of service. A special thank you to the PACT program for their love and care shown to Doug. Also a special thanks to Lake Edge Church for the love and hope they expressed to Doug. Obituary Preview: Phyllis Arlene Selle, 90 of Rio, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at At Home Again Assisted Living in Rio surrounded by her family. She was born September 11, 1931 in Leeds Township to Alfred and  Blanche (Kohlmann) Nelson and baptized at Rio Lutheran Church October 20, 1931. She grew up on the family farm as the middle child, having three older sisters and three younger brothers.
Phyllis began her education at Jacob Low School, then graduated from Eighth  Grade in 1945 and Poynette High School in 1949. She married the love of her life, Charles Donovan Selle, on Sept. 23rd,1950 at Bethel Lutheran Church in  Poynette. In 2020, Phyllis and Donovan enjoyed a special celebration honoring  their 70th Wedding Anniversary. With a gift for numbers, Phyllis found employment at Cuna Mutual in Madison  following graduation. After marriage, she became the key bookkeeper during the  years of multiple farming operations, working side by side with Donovan. In later  years, Phyllis worked as a payroll accountant at the United Methodist Conference Office in Sun Prairie. After the children were grown, many enjoyable “snowbird” winters were spent in  Arizona, then Florida where Phyllis and Donovan developed long lasting  friendships with Old Bridge Yacht Club Park residents in North Fort Myers.
Phyllis was an active, involved member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Rio,  serving on various committees and women’s groups. She had become an avid  quilter who gifted numerous quilt creations to not only family members but  donated others through her church group to Lutherdale Bible Camp’s annual  fundraiser event as well as other local non profit organizations.
Phyllis is survived by her husband, Charles Donovan Selle, Rio; children Darwin  (Annette) Selle and Karen Bortz, Rio; grandchildren Anthony Selle, Rio, Conrad  Selle, Bloomington, IL, Marcellette (Nicolas) Cloche, Fericy, France, Nathan  (Lindsey) Bortz, Kiel, Nicholas (Katie) Bortz, Rio, Neil (Rachel) Bortz, Pardeeville;  great grandchildren Lucas Selle, Andrew and Alienor Cloche, Brady and Avery  Bortz, Bryce and Kaelyn Bortz and Amelia and Barrett Bortz; brothers Wayne  (Norma) Nelson, David Nelson, Alfred (Barbara) Nelson; sister in law Virginia  Pache; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents,  sisters and brother in laws Manetta & Joe Henning, Joyce & Werner Fansel and  Donna & Dick Stauber, brother in law, Daniel Pache, sister in law, Helen Nelson,  son in law, John W. Bortz and great grandson Matthew Cloche.
Phyllis was loved and respected by many. Thank you to all the wonderful staff at  the At Home Again in Rio facility and Generations Hospice in Fond du lac who provided her with loving attention and care. Further recognition to Grasse Funeral Service and Pastor Yvonne Marshall for their assistance at this difficult time. Private services will be held. She will be laid to rest at Lowville Cemetery, Lowville Township. Memorials can be made in Phyllis’ name to Redeemer Lutheran Church in Rio or At Home Again Assisted Living in Rio. Roger was united in marriage to Patricia Heidel December 9, 1972 in Wisconsin Dells. He dropped out of high school to join the Army. Roger served as a cobra helicopter mechanic from 1971 to 1974. He ended up completing his GED in Phoenix Arizona in 1978. Throughout the years, he has been employed with Kilbourn Machine, Dell Webb, the state of Arizona Veteran's Cemetery, Boehck Equipment, and the Famous Footwear Distribution Center.
Survivors include son Richard (Amanda) Corning; daughter-in-law Barb Corning; grandchildren Kyle Corning, Haille Mezera, Gabrielle (Sean) Lozano, and Kailey Corning; sisters-in-law Eleanor Corning and Janet Corning. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife; son Jason Corning; three sisters Arvilla (Robert) Dailey, Helen (Ralph) Crawford, and Marylou (Laverne) Janisch; three brothers Myrwyn, Donald, and Charles (Karen) Corning.
Memorial service with military honors will be held Saturday, April 30 at 10 AM at Grasse Funeral Home in Rio. Burial will follow at Fall River Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9 AM until the time of service.

Nelson, 69 of Rio, passed away peacefully at his home Saturday, April 2, 2022, with his family by his side. He  was born June 20, 1952 in Columbus, the son of Elmer and Lorraine (Gevers) Nelson. He then was united in marriage to Carol J. McKellar on June 8, 1974 at the church of the Nazarene in Columbus.
David spent 38 years working in maintenance with Everbrite in Pardeeville. David was an avid outdoorsman and loved spending time surrounded by nature. He loved to hunt, spend time at gun and tractor shows, and taking his two dachshunds on enjoyable walks. More than anything he loved a good visit. He was very proud of his family, and would never hesitate to lend a helping hand whenever needed.
Survivors include his wife; Carol Nelson, three daughters; Tammy Dawson (Shawn Brown), Connie (Todd) Anderson, and Stacy (Clint) Gilmore, brother; Richard (Judy) Nelson; grandchildren; Nelson and Toni Anderson, as well as several nieces and nephews. Obituary Preview: Mary L. Gray, age 78 of Otsego Township, formally from McFarland, went peacefully to heaven March 29, 2022 at St. Mary’s Hospice in Madison, WI.
She was born February 29, 1944 to Louis Sr. and Mary (Hirvela) Dupont in Madison, WI. She graduated from MATC as an LPN and worked at Meritor Hospital until her retirement.  She especially loved working on the pediatrics floor.   She married Larry C. Gray on March 2, 1962.   She and Larry raised, trained and showed champion English Bulldogs  and enjoyed time on their hunting land. Upon their retirement they built a log home on farmland in Otsego.  They raised labradors and angus cattle. Mary loved their hunting land and was quite a good shot.  In later years she enjoyed walking the trails and taking in the beauty of the land. Her greatest pride and enjoyment was spending time with her grandchildren and taking them on many adventures.
Mary is survived by her children: Kevin of Rio, Steve (Marcy) of Edgerton; grandchildren: Scott, Cody (Katie) Mikayla, Becky; brothers: Roy (Carolyn) of GA and Louis Jr. of Sheboygan, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Larry.

Mary Lee was born on Mother’s Day May 14, 1944 to Charles Henry and Ruby Alberta (Lee) Missall.  She grew up in Cambria and was active in church, community, and school activities.  She was a lifelong member of the First Presbyterian Church in Cambria.  Her church activities included choir, Sunday School, Bible School, Junior Christian Endeavor (Junior CE), and Senior High youth group.  Community activities included Brownies & Girl Scouts.  School activities included choir, being a cheerleader and baton twirler for the marching band.  Mary Lee loved to dance.  Her outgoing personality was contagious.  She was very supportive and loyal to her family and friends.  She graduated from Cambria High School in 1962 (now known as Cambria-Friesland High School).  After high school Mary Lee worked in Beaver Dam for Kraft Foods and then for Kiekhaefer.  She then moved to Fond du Lac and worked for Mercury Marine.  She retired from there after 40 years of service.
Mary Lee is survived by her sister Margaret (Milborn “Ron”) Beaty of Mankato, MN; sister-in-law Bonnie (Reierson) Missall of Rio; brother David (Darlene) Missall of Randolph.  She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, and special friends. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, brother Myron “Mike” Missall of Rio and nephew Robert Charles Missall, aunts and uncles: Dorothy (Raymond R.) Jones, Elmer (Juanita “Marie”) Missal, Doris (Ervin “Red”) Rausch of Cambria, Mabel (Charles) Miller of Madison, John (Gladys) Lee of Long Beach, CA, and other family members.

Jerry attended and graduated from Black River Falls High School. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy serving from 1959 to 1963 and is member of the Rio American Legion and Redeemer Lutheran Church. He was united in marriage to Judith December 15, 1973 and they were blessed with two children. In 1970, Jerry and Judy bought a farmette outside of Rio. Jerry was employed as a machinist for the Ball Corporation for many years. He had a gift for all things mechanical from a young age. He could fix, build, or improve anything, from modifying a car for a friend who lost the use of his legs from polio to building a sleigh from old snowmobile parts for the grandkids.
Survivors include his wife Judy; daughter Melissa (Jon) Durst; son Mitchell (Melissa) Sandberg; grandchildren Tyler and Owen Durst and Emily Sandberg; sisters Jean Smith, Julie (Al) Ruiz, and Rebecca Wermes; brother-in-law Gary Shankey and many nieces and nephews. Wayne graduated from Rio High School in 1970. In 1977, he married his first wife Cindy Wylesky. They had one son Brad and Cindy preceded him in death after battling Multiple Sclerosis. Wayne was blessed to find love a second time marrying Marlene Murphy August 23, 2003. Wayne was a BAC Union Tile Setter for 30 plus years. His interests included family, friends, fishing, hunting, wood working, and making homemade wine.
Wayne is survived by his wife Marlene; son Brad; three sisters Ruth, Ronda, and Wilma; step-sons Jeff (Jodi) Murphy and Jason Murphy (Kristie Long); grandchildren Ronin Holly, Logan (Hailey) Murphy, and Samantha (Jacob) Macknick; great grandchildren Alexis Murphy and Leon Macknick, and ex daughter-in-law Sarah Holly. He was preceded in death by parents, first wife Cindy; former father and mother-in-law Vincent and Gertrude Wylesky; father and mother-in-law Victor and Lavona Reigel and many brothers and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews.

Obituary Preview: Angela Dawn Thompson, 31 of Neenah, died Sunday, February 13, 2022 due to an overdose. She was born May 1, 1990. She had fought her addiction for many years and she finally succumbed to her demons.
Angela was a friend to many and enjoyed spending time with her children. Angela made an incredible impact on those who know her and her door was always open for friends and family. Angela will truly by missed by many of those who knew and loved her.
Angela is survived by her mother Deborah Bleicher; two beautiful children, Zayda Thompson and Satori Thompson; ex-husband Hunter and his wife Megan. She also left behind many family members and friends along with her church family. She was preceded in death her father Randy Bleicher.
A memorial service will be held at a future date with Pastor Hatch of Bible Baptist Church in Winneconne.

Survivors include her husband Claude; daughters Pat (Gloyd) McKay, Colleen Schroeder, Melanie (Gary) Dynes, Candy (Bob) Heyroth, Lisa (Tim) Jansen, Gidget (Darin) Bavery, Tina (Bruce) Weber, Lori (Brian) Corser; sons Kevin (Nan) Weisensel and Clayton (Teresa) Weisensel, step children Jason Richards and Carol Fuller; daughter-in-law Peggy Weisensel; 37 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and half brother Karri Goold. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Joseph A. “Bud” Weisensel, Jr.,  son Joseph A. “Al '' Weisensel, grandson Joseph A. "Joey" Weisensel, and son-in-law Bill Schroeder.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 21 at 5 PM at Grasse Funeral in Rio with Rev. Steve Aust officiating.  Visitation will be held from 3 PM until the time of service.

Obituary Preview: Jack Martinson, age 87of Beaver Dam, passed away January 30, 2022  at Wisconsin Dells Health Services. He was born August 14, 1934 in Mobridge, SD. The Martinson family moved to a farm in Keyeser, Wi where he grew up a hard worker.
Jack served honorably in the Army National Guard and was elected to the Conservation Congress. He was a Union Steward at Oscar Meyer in Madison, Wi. Jack owned a farm in Reesevile, WI and in younger days owned/operated taverns around Portage, Wi (Cloverleaf/Hitching Post, North Star, Tom Turkey). He retired to Minocqua, Wi where he was a Supervisor for Oneida County. Jack lived a long adventurous life. He flew his airplanes to great heights and scuba dived to the deep depths. He loved nature and animals especially dogs. He enjoyed hunting and was a great fisherman. Jack was a lovely man who will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his daughter Laura (Mike) Stone, grandson Able Stone and many loving nieces and nephews. Jack was preceded in death by his parents Henry "Hank" & Anna (Maltby) Martinson, all his siblings; brothers Dallas,  Marvin, Lester & Henry "Harry" Martinson, sisters June Lee, Maureen & Mary Ann England; wives Leonida "Dolly" Krenz, Jane Prebnow, Donna Munch and life partner Anna Mae Brue.

Robert Visauer - December 16, 1922 - January 29, 2022

Obituary Preview: Robert Blaise Visauer, age 99, passed away Saturday, January 29, 2022.
Robert, “Bob”, grew up in West Allis, WI.  Son of August and Mary Visauer who immigrated to America from Czechoslovakia.  Younger brother to Marie Schwellinger, Theresa Polasky, Lillian Kmett and Elizabeth Magray.
Bob proudly served in the U.S. Army, 382nd Anti-Aircraft Artillery Battalion, from 1943-1946.  Stationed in the South Pacific, he was on a nearby ship in Tokyo Bay on V-J Day, when the signing of surrender documents took place.  Shortly after returning home from war, Bob married his sweetheart, Gladys Flintrop, known to him as, “Dimples”.  Together they raised seven children in New Berlin, WI. Bob was a dedicated employee during his 38 years with Allen-Bradley as a skilled machinist.  In addition, he enjoyed seasonal work as a school bus driver.
Bob and Gladys were married for 63 years.  In retirement, they enjoyed many years of sunshine in Sun City West, Arizona. Bob flew to Washington D.C. with the “Honor Flight” to experience first-hand, the WWII War Memorial.  He wore his WWII hat proudly.  Strangers often approached him to shake his hand and say, “Thank-you for your service”.
Bob had a unique enthusiasm for life.  He loved participating in many social activities.  His booming voice and laugh were easily heard, and sure to get your attention.  In his younger years, Bob enjoyed fishing, bowling, swimming and parties in the family ‘s basement.  No celebration was complete without a Wisconsin favorite, a Brandy Old-Fashioned Sweet.
Bob was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, his four sisters, his wife Gladys, sons Kenneth and Wayne Visauer and many other relatives and friends.

Grandchildren include Bridget O’Toole, Erin DeBoth, Kaylin Visauer, Michael Visauer, Cassandra Pareis, Kathryn Hylkema, Sarah Znidarsich, Blake Higley, Andrea Visauer and Bela Dutt. Also survived by twenty great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.

Obituary Preview: Reginald (Reggie) L. Kraemer, 61 of Columbus, passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at his home after a long battle with heart disease. He was born December 12, 1960 in Reedsburg, the son of Leon and Dorothy (Moore) Kraemer.
Reggie grew up on the family farm in Plain, WI. He graduated from River Valley Schools and enlisted in the Army where he was stationed in the U.S. and Germany.  After an honorable discharge from the service, he spent over 20 years working at Lake City Glass in Madison, WI. Reggie was a past member of Merrimac Fire and Rescue where he received many awards including Firefighter of the Year. In being an avid outdoorsman, he fulfilled his lifelong dream of living in the northwoods up until moving closer to his children and grandchildren where he spent the remainder of his years.
Survivors include his children; Kara of Madison, Kassie (Todd) of Windsor, and Kody (fiance Becky) of Deforest; grandchildren Presley, Vivianne, Nash, and Jubel; grand furbabies; siblings Alice (Bill) Brickl, Butch (Mary Ann) Kraemer, Linda (Rod) Eberle and Juanita (Jack) Retrum; sister-in-law Jan Kraemer and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends all over the state. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Dean Kraemer.
A celebration of Reginald’s life will be held Saturday, January 29,2022 at the VFW Post 7694, 700 VFW Drive, Prairie Du Sac, WI 53578 from 11 AM to 3 PM.

Marietta worked for the state of Wisconsin in the unemployment division for twenty years then Jung Seed Company in Randolph for fifteen years. She enjoyed her many flower beds and gardening.
She is survived by her husband Rick; daughter Margie (Bill) Sachs; sons Gary (Terri) Yeager and Jeffrey Ryan (Jeanette Cutsforth), nine grandchildren, several great grandchildren and son-in-law Barri Olson. She was preceded in death by her parents, and daughters Vicki Olson and Jacqueline Labrenz.
Inurnment will be held privately in Loganville Cemetery at a later date.

Obituary Preview: Mark Walter Twing, age 60, passed away at St. Mary’s Hospital Friday,  January 7, 2022.
He was born April 10, 1961 in Madison, the son of Dyer Twing and Diane Hons Solterman. He was a 1979 graduate of Deforest High School. Mark proudly served in the Army and Army Reserves for a total of 22 years, where he was a Sergeant First Class/E7/Drill Sergeant. He was employed with Madison Freight Systems, then at Walgreens driving truck, and lastly retired after 18 years with Trachte Building Systems.  Mark was a true Ford fan and he enjoyed motorcycles, trucks, his red Mustang convertible, and John Deere lawn mower. He recently found enjoyment in coin collecting. Mark was quite the character. He tried to show the tough exterior but deep down he was a teddy bear. He always tried to make people laugh with his witty one-line phrases and jokes. “If you can’t do it the right way, don’t do it at all.”
Survivors include beloved wife of 34 years, Dawn; proud father of two sons, Matthew (Kayla) Twing of Beaver Dam and Tyler (Amelia) Twing of Oshkosh. Mark is further survived by his mother; sister; Shelley (Tim Walsvick) Twing of Morrisonville; step-sister Beth (Randy) Krey of Wisconsin Rapids;  step-brothers Greg, Tom and Chris Hons; mother-in-law Eleanor Corning of Rio; brothers-in-law Craig (Rhonda) Corning of Rio and Dave (April) Corning of Beloit; sister-in-law Cheryl (Jeff) Dolsey of Black River Falls; Godson Jeffery Corning, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Dyer Twing; brothers Tom and Steve Twing; grandparents Eileen and Otto Reynolds; grandparents Isabel and Elmer Weichmann; grandfather Walter Twing; uncle Dennis Twing; cousin Casey Vogeler; father-in-law Donald Corning, and step-fathers Richard Hons and Richard Solterman.

Gordon E. May - July 25, 1928 - December 30, 2021

Obituary Preview: Gordon E. (Joe) May, age 93 of Stoughton, passed away December 30, 2021, peacefully surrounded by family. He was a long-time resident of Stoughton, also living in Madison for 30 years.  Gordon was born in Minden, Nebraska July 25, 1928, to Grace (Atchison) & Paul May, Sr.  He attended Stoughton Public Schools and graduated in 1946.
Gordon spent two years in the U.S. Army where he was trained at the Army Intelligence School, in Fort Riley, Kansas and served in Intelligence Operations with the 88th Infantry Division in Italy.  After discharge, the G.I. Bill allowed him to attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he earned a bachelor’s degree of Sociology, in three years.  He had the privilege of joining other veterans on the Badger Honor Flight to Washington D.C. in September 2013.
Survivors include his five children:  Mary Jo (Dan) Davis, Marcia Tarrant, Margie May of Stoughton, Margy May and Michael May of Oregon, and his step-children Michael Hotchkiss and Renee (Hotchkiss) Johnson and their families. He is further survived by four grandchildren:  Betsy (Matt) Towns, Mari Davis, Justin and Eddie Blumenthal, and great grandchildren, Malcolm and Noah Towns and Lydia Davis.  In addition to his parents, Gordon was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Betty (Holtan) May, his second wife, Ardell (Hotchkiss) May, brother, Paul May Jr., daughter-in-law, Lisa May, special niece Jean Reid and other family members.
Gordon worked for the State of Wisconsin Department of Administration where he managed state properties for thirty years before retiring in 1987 at the age of 59.  He was an avid sportsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing with his father, brother Paul and son Mike.  He also raised Brittany Spaniels and ran them in Field Trials throughout the Midwest.  Gordon loved golfing at Stoughton Country Club with his “Cronies’” as he called them.  In the 1980s he opened the Quill & Brush Art Gallery of Stoughton with his wife, Betty.  Gordon loved music and enjoyed the Big Band Era.  He had the good fortune to attend performances of many of the big names - Louie Armstrong, Benny Goodman, Glen Miller to name a few.  He loved the Chicago Cubs, Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers.   Gordon was very proud to be a contestant on the Wheel of Fortune where he was the Grand Prize Winner of a new car and merchandise.  He had a great love for Florida’s emerald coast and spent 30 years wintering in Destin Florida. Gordon was a member of the Stoughton Country Club, Bethel Lutheran Church and American Legion Post 59 of Stoughton and served on the Stoughton School Board in the 1970s.
Gordon felt that family was the most important aspect of his life.  His family was his world and he loved spending time with his children and their families. The family would like to thank Gordon’s Caregivers and Agrace Hospice for the excellent in-home care they provided, and are grateful for the dedication, kindness and friendship that they gave Gordon and his family.

Beady was most passionate about her family.  She enjoyed sending out cards to family and friends for nearly every occasion or just to say “hi”.  She was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church of Cambria.  On June 8, 1973 she married Robert Behling and they made Cambria their home.   Beady had several jobs throughout her life working as a bartender, waitress and hostess. In her free time, she enjoyed crafting.
Beady is survived by her loving husband, Robert Behling, daughter, Christine (Jerry) Jones; step-son Robert Behling Jr. and step-daughter Jackie Sweeney, granddaughters; Jennifer (Jim) Evans, Jaime (Mike) Schmuhl, great grandchildren; Michaela (Ethan) Westra, Madelyn & Austin Evans, and Hayden Schmuhl; brother Russell “Bucky” Plath; many other relatives and friends. Beady was preceded in death by her parents; brothers; Jerome “Romie”, Richard “Shorty” and Morris “Mosie” Plath; sisters; Sandra “Susie” Doty, Patricia “Patsy” Haima, Bonnie Peterson, Yvonne “Pee Wee” (Jim) Meilahn and Leilani “Skelly” Koehn.
