Bradley Allen Briseno - March 29, 1977 - April 26, 2024

Departed: 04/26/2024 (Lubbock)
Obituary Preview: Bradley Allen Briseno, a beacon of love and kindness, graced this world with his presence on March 29, 1977, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. His journey through life was marked by unwavering devotion to his family, an infectious passion for his interests, and an abundance of friendly warmth that touched everyone he met. On April 26, 2024, Brad’s chapter on earth came to a peaceful close in Lubbock, Texas, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.Born to Albert and Linda Briseno, Brad was a shining example of familial dedication. He grew up alongside his brother Aaron, forging an unbreakable bond that stood the test of time. A proud graduate of Moreno Valley High School in Moreno Valley, California, Brad's early life laid the foundation for the remarkable man he would become. His educational journey was just the beginning of a life filled with learning, growth, and an insatiable curiosity about the world around him.Brad's career at Nabisco spanned a remarkable 25 years, where he was affectionately known as the "cookie man." His dedication to his work was matched only by his commitment to his family. In more recent years, he brought his wealth of experience and his trademark smile to his role at Grainger, where he continued to make a positive impact every day.Brad's heart was truly at home, surrounded by his beloved wife, April Hernandez, and their blended family. Together, they raised a vibrant and diverse family, including sons Kevin, with his wife Kyrsten Briseno, Jessie, with his wife Maricela Briseno, and daughter Karey Ortega. His stepchildren, Raymond, Vanessa, Tina, Krystal, Fernando, Thomas, Liberty, Aislynn, Tim, Mark, Alyssa, Mario, Miguel, and Rey added to the bustling and joyous household. Brad's love for his family was his guiding star, and his role as a father and stepfather was one he embraced with every fiber of his being.Grandfather to Emmalee, Malachi, Kaylee, Allena, Jessie, Jr., Avaan, Shiloh, Isaiah, and Grayson, Brad's eyes would light up with every mention of his grandchildren. Each one of them was a precious gem in the treasure trove of his heart, and he invested time and love into their lives, ensuring that they knew they were cherished beyond measure.Brad is preceded by his stepson, Marky Ortega; his paternal grandparents, Prudencio & Jila Briseno; & maternal grandparents, Louis & Mary Huck.Brad's interests were as vast and varied as the great outdoors he so loved. An enthusiast of classic cars, his '59 Impala was more than a vehicle—it was a symbol of his appreciation for history and craftsmanship that his brother, Aaron & he shared. Together they started to rebuild their masterpiece, that was the ’59 Impala. His love for plants and animals showcased his nurturing spirit, and as a book collector, he traveled through time and space within the pages of his beloved books. A true outdoorsman, Brad found solace and joy in the embrace of nature, whether he was tending to a barbecue or tending to his plants.Described as loving, kind, and friendly, Brad's life was a testament to the power of positivity. He approached every day with a smile, every challenge with optimism, and every person with an open heart. His ability to connect with others, to lend a listening ear, and to offer a helping hand made him a friend to many and a stranger to none.As we reflect on Brad's life, we are reminded of the indelible mark he left on this world. His was a life that exemplified the beauty of simple pleasures, the strength of unwavering commitment, and the joy of shared laughter. Brad's spirit, a vibrant flame of love and light, will continue to inspire and guide those who were fortunate enough to know him.Though he has embarked on his final journey, the memories and lessons he imparted will remain. Brad's legacy is not one of sorrow, but rather a celebration of a life well-lived—a life that encourages us to embrace each day with enthusiasm, to cherish our loved ones, and to make the world a kinder place.
