Obituary Preview: David L. Koning, 83, formerly of Lafayette, passed away on Friday, April 8, 2022, at Mulberry Health and Retirement. He was born in Lafayette on February 5, 1939, to Walter and Mary Elizabeth (Fields) Koning.  He married Jacquelyn “Jackie” Dubes on December 16, 1967; she preceded him in death on September 20, 2020.
David attended Lafayette Jeff High School and then served in the US Army. He was a truck driver for many years and was a former member of the Teamsters Local 135. He helped construct many of the roads throughout Indiana. David enjoyed raising cattle, mules, Bluetick coonhounds, and draft, AQHA, APHC horses. He was very active in the equestrian community. David was also an avid coon hunter, loved Ford trucks, and working with the Amish community.
Surviving David is one grandson, Justin (Megan) Kirts of Lafayette; four great grandchildren, Harmony-Kay, Jaxson, Lainey Boone, and Oakley Carter; brother, Richard Koning of Lafayette; and a sister, Donna Kelley of NC.
In addition to his wife, David is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Susan Kirts; and a brother, Robert Koning.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Genda Funeral Home, Rossville Chapel. Linda Arlene Mohler - August 20, 1962 - April 06, 2022

Obituary Preview: Linda Arlene Mohler, age 59, was born August 20, 1962 to Larry and Doris (Comstock) Long in Warsaw, IN.  She peacefully passed away April 6, 2022 at home in Eaton, OH.  Linda was baptized on October 20, 1983 into the Old German Baptist Brethren Church and remained faithful until death.  Linda had a passion for teaching, a strong spirit, and a tender heart.  She taught in four states, across multiple generations.  She loved to drive, especially to the Kansas wetlands.  She married Keith Leon Mohler on November 15, 1986.  To this union was born six children.  She was widowed suddenly on September 26, 2009 and spent the last twelve years of her life traveling, teaching, and spending time with her children.  She was preceded in death by her husband, a brother Michael, and mother-in-law Margaret Mohler.  Surviving are her children, Clara and husband Riley, Alexander, Nathan and wife Allison, Ivan, Hannah, and Emma and husband George; her parents; her father-in-law, Harold Mohler; brothers and sisters, Cheryl and husband Delbert, Kevin and wife Lisa, Rachel and husband John, Sarah, and Jonathan and wife Liz; and sisters-in-law, Janice and her husband Ohmer, Karen and husband Larry, and Ronda and husband Galen.  Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 10, 2022 from 1:00 to 6:00 pm at the Upper Twin Old German Baptist Brethren Church, 3614 Halderman Road, West Alexandria, OH.  A graveside service will follow the next day, April 11, 2022, at 11:00 am at Middle Fork Old German Baptist Brethren Cemetery, 7500 N County Rd 600 W, Rossville, IN.  Gard Funeral Home, Eaton, OH and Genda Funeral Home, Rossville, IN are both assisting the family with arrangements.

Randall M. Kingery - March 10, 1951 - April 03, 2022

Obituary Preview: Randall M. Kingery, 71, of Lafayette, passed away at his residence Sunday, April 3, 2022.  He was born March 10, 1951 in Lafayette to Maurice and Maxine (Gable) Kingery.  He married the love of his life and high school sweetheart, Dixie Cunningham, on August 9, 1970.  She survives.
Randall was a 1969 graduate of Rossville High School  He worked for over 25 years as an electric motor machinist for Kirby Risk.  He enjoyed fishing, golfing, woodworking with a lathe, turning pens and bowls, and traveling with his wife.  Above all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Along with his wife of 51 years, Randall is survived by his children, Cassandra (Scott Murphy) Kingery-Fruits and Jason (Christy Miller) Kingery; sister, Cathy (Randy) Hillyer; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Joseph Allen Kingery; and brother, Jerry Kingery.

Milton "Joe" Keifer - August 18, 1933 - March 24, 2022

Obituary Preview: Milton J. “Joe” Keifer, 88, formerly of Mulberry, passed away on March 24, 2022, in Rossville at his home with family.
Joe was born August 18, 1933, in Kingman, Indiana, to Ralph and Cecil (Moore) Keifer.  He married Ethel Pellam on December 24, 1961, and she preceded him in death on June 22, 2006.
After graduating from Lafayette Jefferson High School in 1952, Joe enlisted in the US Air Force, serving as a Staff Sergeant in the Korean War.  After returning from the war, Joe opened and operated CDK Refrigeration for over 20 years.
Joe was a former member of Mulberry UMC, a member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 157, and a lifetime member of the American Legion.  In his younger days, Joe was a workaholic.  He loved animals and enjoyed taking his fur babies for walks.
Joe is survived by several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ethel; son, Philip Joseph; one brother; and two sisters.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, from 1 p.m. to the start of the funeral service at 3 p.m. at Genda Funeral home ~ Rossville Chapel with Pastor Kevin Smith officiating. Inurnment will be in the Fair Haven Cemetery in Mulberry at a later date. Memorial contributions in Joe’s honor may be made to the American Heart Association.

Jacque Cooper - July 18, 1947 - March 20, 2022

Obituary Preview: Jacque Vonne Cooper, 74, of Rossville, passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, March 20, 2022.
Born July 18, 1947, in Lafayette, Jacque was the daughter of Fred and Freida (Roth) Clendenning.  She married the love of her life, Robert “Dan” Cooper, in Sedalia, on May 22, 1966.
After graduating from Rossville High School in 1965, Jacque attended Lafayette Business School, which prepared her for her career as an entrepreneur and business owner of Jacque’s Flowers.  She was also a collectables dealer, interior designer, worked as an Activity Director at Tippecanoe Villa, worked with Habitat for Humanity, and was a stockholder for Angel Hill Golf Course in Rossville.
Jacque was an active member of Rossville UMC where she taught Sunday School for many years, assisted with MYF and Adventure Club, served on the Pastor Parish Committee, ran Chat & Chew, and participated in LRE visits.  She was also an avid golfer, bird watcher, loved to watercolor paint, served as treasurer for the Rossville Class of ’65, and to her grandkids, was the loving “Oma”.
Along with her husband, Jacque is survived by her daughter, Michelle Dilling-Zanker of Lafayette; her son, Rob (Tammy) Cooper of Rossville; grandchildren, Rhett Dilling, Brinsley (Joshua) Lytle, Addison Cooper, Samantha Glassley, Jonathan Zanker, and Jeffrey Zanker; great-grandchildren, Jude, Jett, Vivian, and Sylvia; sisters, Winifred (Ed) Beard, Phyllis Hodgen, and Mary (Sam) Scheiry; and brothers, Alan (Dorothy) Clendenning and Dan (Mary Lou) Clendenning.
One grandson, Brayton “Buck” Cooper, preceded her in death.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 27, 2022, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Genda Funeral Home~Rossville Chapel.  Funeral service will be at the funeral home on Monday, March 28, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Bob Raschka officiating and will be live streamed.  Burial will be in Rossville Cemetery.  Memorials in Jacque’s name may be made to Rossville UMC or Paul Phillippe Resource Center in Frankfort.

Lynn Allan Crow - November 25, 1963 - March 20, 2022

Obituary Preview: Lynn Allan Crow, 58, of Rossville, Indiana, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2022, in Rockingham, Virginia.
Born November 25, 1963, in Lafayette, Indiana, Lynn was the son of Charles Cedric Crow and Ruth Wilma (Dunk) Crow.
Lynn loved the spirit of competition. He was passionate about anything that went fast. Memories of go-karting, waterskiing and racing always made him smile. He was a star player on the Rossville High School basketball team. He took great pride in later becoming an assistant coach to his Rossville Hornets and coaching them to the 2002 State Championship. One of Lynn’s greatest passions was auto racing.  He was actively hands-on with his sprint car team.
Lynn completed his degree at ITT Technical Institute in Manufacturing Engineering. He was the owner of Aidex Corporation, Aidex Graphics, DCT (Dreams Come True) Racing and a part-owner in Buckeye Educational Systems. His companies reach across nine states, representing manufacturers world-wide to provide future leaders with technological resources. It gave him no greater joy than to work with his daughter Savannah in a real estate venture, Blackbird House. Alongside his father, he grew a love for farming.  Lynn continued to work side-by-side with his cousins in the farming business, carrying on the tradition.  His place of solace was watching the sunsets during planting and harvest. Lynn used every business venture as means to provide for and mentor others. His ideas were grand and impactful. No one knew what the next grand plan would be.  Lynn was unique, generous and kind, providing support to many. He made a lasting impact on those around him.
Lynn is survived by his beloved mother Ruth, his wife Aimee, and his most cherished children: Savannah Crow, Kendall (Joshua) Kisfalusi, Carson Crow, Madison Crow, Samantha Scott, Kailyn Scott and Jacob Scott.  He is also survived by two sisters Cindy (Ned) Gangwer and Carmen (Todd) Bordner, Charli and Bill “Mom and Dad” Johnson, Auntie Nancy, sister and brother-in-love Emily and Jason Faimon, and many treasured cousins, nieces and nephews, all for whom he cared deeply.  His husky, Indy, will also miss him deeply.
Lynn is preceded in death by his father and best friend, Charlie Crow.

Emmett W. Frey - May 05, 1931 - March 12, 2022

Frey, 90, of rural Rossville, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2022, at IU Arnett Hospital in Lafayette.  He was born May 5, 1931, in Carroll County, to Harold E. and Sylvia D. (Gochenour) Frey.  On May 11, 1952, he married Patricia A. Dunk. She preceded him in death on December 25, 2020.
Emmett graduated from Rossville High School in 1949. From March 1953 to March 1955, he served in the Army during the Korean War. Emmett was a life-long farmer north of Rossville in Carroll County retiring in 1995. He was a longtime member of the Carroll County Farm Bureau where he had served as President of the Clay Township Chapter and the Clinton County Camper Club. He and Pat squared danced themselves all over the state for many years. They were “snowbirds” in Florida, at Fort Myers Beach, for over 40 years and enjoyed attending the Carroll County Days there. He was a former member of the Rossville United Methodist Church and the Dayton United Methodist Church as well as other churches in Florida. Emmett always enjoyed riding his golf cart all over and would usually know just how far it would go on a charge.
Emmett is survived by sons, Jerry (Janice) and Larry (Jennifer); daughters, Debra (Steve) Mulligan, Julia (Phillip) Gable, and Jane (Chris) Skiles all from Rossville; 11 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Pat, he is preceded in death by his parents, and sisters, Thelma Whitehead and Bonnie Snouwaert.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 and one hour prior to the funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at Genda Funeral Home Rossville Chapel. She was born on October 16, 1934, in Crossville, Tennessee, to Hilva and Mandy (McCoy) Jones.
Reba graduated from Lauramie High School in Stockwell. She had worked for Loeb’s Department Store as a fashion buyer for ready-to-wear for 25 years and had been the manager of Three Weaver’s Textile Shops for over 20 years, both in Lafayette. Reba enjoyed cooking, baking, reading, football and basketball, but most importantly enjoyed spending time with her family and her kind and caring neighbors. She had been a member of the Valley Baptist Church in Flora where she enjoyed Bible School classes on Sundays after church.
Surviving Reba is a daughter, Lynn (Robert) Cole of Lafayette, son, Gary Snyder of Owasco; step-daughter, Debbie Hall of Indianapolis; step-son, Stephen (Karen) Runyan of Fort Wayne; brother, Lee Jones of Romney; granddaughter, Michelle L. (Brian) Piper of Charlestown, grandson, Joshua L. (Laura) Cole of Lafayette; and great-grandsons, Zachary and Cole Piper. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, James L. Snyder (whom she was married to from January 1952 to August 1973); her second husband, Gene C. Runyon (whom she was married to from December 3, 1976 to October 5, 2001); and sisters, Ruby Garrett, Jean Rosenthal, and toddler-Ruth Jones

Eric was a 1973 graduate of Rossville High School and was the owner and president of Centurion International Corp.  Eric was a devout Christian and attended Dayton United Methodist Church.  He enjoyed golfing, reading history books, politics, playing the piano and ping pong, mowing, and driving fast.  He loved sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee and talking with good friends.  Eric was a loving father who would drop anything for his family, and enjoyed taking his girls to museums and concerts, spending time at the lake, and taking weekend trips away.
Along with his wife, Cindy, of 30 years, Eric is survived by his mother, Mary Lu Gray; his daughters, Esther Marie Gray, Gretchen Elise Gray, Heidi Lorraine (Isaac) Wiegand, and April Renee Gray; sister, Ann (Markam) Hines; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Gray.

Walter Boyd Martin - October 13, 1954 - January 31, 2022

Boyd was a 1974 graduate of Delphi High School.  He then enlisted in the United States Navy for 21 years, where he worked several jobs including Aircraft Mechanic.  He then worked at Frito Lay.  Boyd enjoyed flying kites, collecting and riding motorcycles, spending time with his friends, and spoiling his pets.  He loved his daughter and grandson very much.
Boyd is survived by his daughter, Wendy Rafferty; grandson, Paxton Baugh; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Barbara Rogers.

Donald Ray Barnes - February 27, 1963 - January 21, 2022

Obituary Preview: Donald Ray “Donny” Barnes, 58, Rossville, passed away Friday, January 21, 2022, at Franciscan Hospital in Lafayette.  He was born February 27, 1963 to George Ray and Trula (Taylor) Barnes.  He married the love of his life, Elena, on October 15, 2009, and she survives.
He attended Frankfort Senior High School and went on to be the owner of Helen’s Express Trucking Company.  He was a man of many talents and a mechanical mind that he could fix just about anything.   He loved working on his 28 year old semi; fishing, boating, drag racing, and traveling in the RV with his family.   He enjoyed life to the fullest, but above all, he loved his family, especially his wife and children, whom he adored.
Along with his wife of 12 years, Donny is survived by his mother; children, Sofia and Stefan Barnes; siblings, Debbie (Donnie) Baker, Darla Barnes, David (Tamra) Barnes and Daniel (Kim) Barnes; “adopted brothers,” Jason Stevens Tracy Abbott; and ten nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.

Robert was a 1947 graduate of Rossville High School.  He was a career farmer.  He was a member of Rossville Bible Fellowship.  He enjoyed teaching Sunday School, raising pigs with his dogs Buster and Tippy, traveling and collecting farm toys.  He and his wife had served as administrators of the Rossville Food Pantry for 12 years.
Along with his wife of 65 years, Robert is survived by his children, David Gochenour and Sue (Robert) Atkinson; brother-in-law, Dwain (Phyllis) Thompson; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two infant children; brother, Morris (Hazel) Gochenour; and brother-in-law, John Dee (Nancy Jo) Thompson.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 21, 2022 from 10am until the time of the service at 11am at Genda Funeral Home ~ Rossville Chapel.  Pastor Chris Albin will officiate.  Burial will follow at Rossville Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Rossville Food Pantry.

She won the 2014 Open Championship with Teacup, placed first in High Point Amateur in the nation on Teacup in 2015, and had accumulated thousands of points since the early 1980s.
Susan is survived by her father; her son, Justin (Megan) Kirts; four grandchildren, Harmony-Kay, Jaxson, Lainey Boone, and Oakley Carter; and her Toy Australians, Molly and Dot.
She is preceded in death by her mother.

Robert Puckett - July 25, 1946 - January 10, 2022

Obituary Preview: Robert Lee (Bob) Puckett, 75, of rural Frankfort went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 10, 2022. Bob was born July 25, 1946 in Kokomo to Boyce and Dorothy (Campbell) Puckett, who precede him in death. He grew up in Hillisburg and graduated from Clinton Central High School. He attended Ball State University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He was in the U.S. Army Reserves for six years. Bob married the love of his life Christine (Gray) Puckett on June 2, 1968. She preceded him in death on January 22, 2021. They shared 52 years of marriage, and have two daughters, Carol Dishon (Gunnar) of rural Frankfort and Caren Crum of Rossville. He was a true family man and loved his family dearly.
Bob was a 36 year member of Oakland Christian Church. He had a passion for sharing the Gospel and was involved with many Christian ministries, including the World Missionary Press in New Paris, IN where he volunteered monthly to help assemble and pack scripture booklets that are distributed worldwide. He always carried some of those little booklets in his pocket and passed them out daily to those he met. He was also a jail minister for more than 40 years in both the Carroll County and Clinton County jails.
He is survived by his daughters Carol and Caren, his grandchildren Aidan Dishon, Soren Dishon, Caden Crum and Caitlin Crum, his brother Sonny Puckett (Renita) of Kokomo, brother-in-law Gary Gray (Vickie) of rural Frankfort, nieces Nicole Gray Weaver (Matt), Kelley Gray, Christy Gray Mendoza (Sal), Christy Shallenberger, Susan Shallenberger, nephews Matthew Shallenberger (Shannon), Scott Shallenberger (Tabby), Steve Shallenberger (Tish), as well as many great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 15, 2022, beginning at 11:00 a.m. until the start of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Genda Funeral Home ~ Rossville Chapel.  Burial will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery in Frankfort.  Memorial contributions can be made to the Oakland Christian Church Building Fund.

Obituary Preview: Curtis Edward Hawk, 54, of Rossville, passed away at his home on Wednesday, January 5, 2022.  He was born June 14, 1967, in Lafayette, to Edward A. Hawk and Virginia L. (Reifert) Cox. Curtis attended both Rossville and Western Schools, earned his GED, and attended some classes at Purdue University.  He was a lifelong worker in food service, most recently employed at Rossville Liquor Store.  He was an 8-year member of the Indiana National Guard, Company B, 738th Maintenance Battalion in Kokomo, and attended Boot Camp at Ft. Knox, Kentucky.  Curtis was a “big dreamer” and had wanted to someday own his own restaurant.  He was a nice guy with a kind soul and huge heart who would do anything for anyone at any time and considered himself a “squeaky knight.”
Curtis is survived by his father, Edward Hawk of Delphi; mother, Virginia Cox of Rossville; sisters, Natalie (Roberto) Mántica of Peru, Indiana, and Tamara (Doug) Sibbitt of Marseilles, Illinois; and nephews, Derrick and Michelle Sibbitt and their children, Rylann, Daxton and Quinton; Jacob and Amy Sibbitt and their son, Ashton; Roberto and Katie Mántica, who are expecting their first child; and Marco and Lauren Mántica.
He is preceded in death by his stepparents, Donald Cox and Carmelita Hawk.

Braylie was a sophomore at Rossville High School.  She was a life-long member of 4-H where she enjoyed showing sheep.  She was a lover of animals, was passionate about playing basketball, volleyball and softball, enjoyed music, was an avid Purdue fan, and loved hanging with her family and friends.  Braylie was a sweet young lady, with a shy disposition until she warmed up to you.  That is when her goofy personality and fun sense of humor shined through.  Braylie was also a strong young woman that persevered through many of life’s obstacles and did so with grace and humility.  She was loved and will be missed by many.

Margaret graduated from Rossville High School. She was a homemaker her entire life and a lifelong member of the Middle Fork Old German Baptist Brethren Church.
In addition to her husband, Harold, she is survived by her daughters, Janice (Ohmer) Etter of Delphi, Karen (Larry) Wray of Baldwin City, KS, Ronda (Galen) Bowman of Shelby, MI; daughter-in-law, Linda Mohler of Eaton, OH; sister, Evelyn Cripe of Rossville; 23 grandchildren, and 24 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a son, Keith Mohler.
A visitation will be held Friday, January 7, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Middle Fork Old German Baptist Brethren Church. The funeral service will be Saturday, January 8, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at the church with Home Brethren officiating. Burial will follow in Middle Fork Old German Baptist BrethrenCemetery.

Daniel was a graduate of Forrest Sherman High School.  He received two associate degrees from Ivy Tech.  Daniel worked as a meter calibrator for Duncan, Seimans, and Landis & Gyr and was a member of Phi Theta Kappa honors fraternity.  He enjoyed listening to music, raising and breeding collies along with his wife, and his martial arts collectibles.
In addition to his wife of 49 years, Daniel is survived by his children, Chris (Rebecca) Luce and Angela (Matthew) Anslover; grandchildren, Krystan (Aimee) Gillis, Kristopher (Danielle) Luce, Ashley (Derrick) Williams, Bailey (Hailey) Luce, Nichole Luce, Sam Gillis, Destiny (Bryer) Metzger, Allyssa Anslover, Cheyenne Anslover; and great grandchild, Amelia Luce.

Obituary Preview: Thelma Lucille (Wainscott) Gray, 99, went to be with her Lord on December 29, 2021. She was born on March 19, 1922, to Roy and Adah (Dukes) Wainscott. She married Leon Gray on October 8, 1944; he preceded her in death on January 5, 2013.
Thelma graduated from Rossville High School. She then worked as a bookkeeper at Kentland Dairy in Mulberry, and was a homemaker and mother of two children, Christine (Gray) Puckett and Gary W. Gray. She was a member of the Rossville Presbyterian Church and the American Legion Auxiliary #342. Thelma loved her family deeply. She also enjoyed playing Double-Bid Euchre with the ladies at church.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 68 years, Leon; her parents; four sisters, Ollie Burns, Mary Thompson, Frances Peters, and Anna Hiatt; and one brother, Gerald Wainscott. Daughter, Christine Puckett, whom she loved dearly, also preceded her in death; as well as a daughter-in-law, Victoria (Mammen) Gray.
Surviving Thelma is her son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Vickie Paris-Gray; son-in-law, Robert Puckett; five granddaughters, Carol Puckett Dishon (Gunnar), Nicole Gray Weaver (Matthew), Kelley Gray, Caren Puckett Crum, and Christy Gray Mendoza (Sal); as well as 12 great-grandsons and three great-granddaughters.
Private family services were held. There will be a Celebration of Life held March 19, 2022, at 2:00 pm at Rossville Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends and family from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm, also at the church. Memorial contributions in Thelma’s honor may be made to Oakland Christian Church Building Fund or Rossville Presbyterian Church.

Jerry was a 1975 graduate of John Marshall High School in Indianapolis.  He worked as a semi driver for over 40 years for several companies, including Shaffer Trucking, Rich Express, Strasbourg Trucking, G&D Integrated, and was currently at Zenith.  He was a “Jack of all trades”, though he often moved on to another project before one was completed.  He loved being around people and making others laugh with a good joke and his sense of humor.  He enjoyed woodworking and fishing, and his knowledge of guns, whether it was about make or model or repairing that he couldn’t answer, and was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Along with his wife of 40 years, Jerry is survived by his children, Joshua (Elizabeth) De Haven, James (Bethany) De Haven, Kirsten (Tregg Gabbard) De Haven, Jacob (Hannah Kern) De Haven; siblings, David (Melissa) De Haven and Denise De Haven; and grandchildren, Kristina, Maverick, Katlynn, Reid, Abigail, Everly, and Charlotte.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

He was preceded in death by his father; step-father, Dale Burkhalter; brother, Jefferey Downham; and step-brother, Randy Burkhalter.

Rich graduated in 1992 from Taylor High School in Kokomo. After graduation, he joined the Army. He worked for the Miami Correctional Facility for over 19 years where he was a correctional training officer. Rich was actively involved with his son Jordan’s racing team where he spent many weekends around the track. He played on multiple dart leagues, loved fishing and scuba diving, and was an instructor on shooting.
Surviving Rich in addition to Holli are his children, Jordan (Tiffani) Sterling of Greentown, Kylie Davis-Sterling of New Mexico, Riley Wilson, Jozlyn Howard, and Gavin Howard of Flora; brother, Eric Sterling of Kokomo; and a grandson, Kohen James Sterling.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held on December 30, 2021, beginning at 4pm at the Genda Funeral Home~Rossville Chapel  450 N St. Rd 39, Rossville. Military rites will be provided by the United States Army and the Carroll County Honor Guard. Chaplain Kevin Conklin will officiate the service. Linda graduated from Southwestern High School in 1964 and worked for Ticen Survey Company, retiring in 1996 due to her health.  She had been a member of St. James Lutheran Church since 1967, was a member of the Rossville Home Economics Club, and enjoyed time with the Lunch Bunch and the Card Club.  Linda loved shopping and spending time with her daughter and visits with her grandsons.  She was a National Baton Twirling Champion and was recruited by Purdue University to be the Golden Girl.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Amy (David) Pierce of Michigan, two grandsons, Cade Robert Pierce and Brandt David Pierce, and her sister, Jackie Jessee of Fort Myers, Florida.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her son, Robert S. Klaiber.

Williams on September 12, 1970, at the Brown Street United Methodist Church in Lafayette; she survives.
Gordon graduated from Jeff High School in Lafayette with the class of 1956 then served in the US Air Force. After 22 years of working at Purdue University, Gordon retired in 2000 from the School of Mechanical Engineering at the Zucrow Laboratory where he was a shop supervisor and machinist. He built projects and helped many students to run machinery. He had also worked at Fairfield Manufacturing-Dana Corporation- for 15 years. Gordon enjoyed working in his machine shop at home and building things, NASCAR and Indy racing, fishing, Amateur Radio Operator, and drag racing and had built his own drag racing car. He was an avid Amateur Radio Operator and a member of the Rossville Masonic Lodge #318.
Gordon is survived by his wife, Barbara.
He is preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 8, 2021, beginning at 1:00 pm until the start of the funeral service at 3:00 pm, at Genda Funeral Home in Rossville with Pastor Bob Raschka officiating and Masonic Rites by the Rossville Masonic Lodge #318. Military rites will be provided by the United States Air Force.
