(Coyne) Brown. Kevin worked as a truck driver for many years and was also a logging subcontractor.  He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting with coonhounds and fishing. He was also an exceptional caretaker to his mother for many years. Surviving are his mother, Rosemary Brown of Convoy; daughter, Kaylea Lykins of FL; brothers: David Brown of Convoy; Mark (Linda) Brown of Decatur; Brent (Rebecca) Brown of Convoy; sisters: Darlene (Tom) Anderson and Diana (Ted) Anderson, all of Convoy; one grandchild; as well and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, Kevin was preceded in death by his son, Billy Brown, brothers, Scott Brown and his infant sister, Marvene Brown. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Gearhart-Sauer Funeral Home 655 N. Main St. Convoy, OH 45891 with Rev. Stuart Wyatt, officiating. Interment will follow in Convoy I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Township Hwy 176 Convoy, OH 45832. Obituary Preview: Fred A. Marsee, 88, of Springfield, Ohio passed away peacefully at Springfield Masonic Home on January 5, 2022. Born June 2, 1933 in Claiborne County, Tennessee, he was the son of Franklin George Marsee and Birdie Hensley Marsee. On June 12, 1955, he married the love of his life, Beverly (Myers) Marsee. Fred graduated from Rockford High School, Rockford, Ohio. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Ohio University, and subsequently graduated from the School of Banking at both the University of Wisconsin and Rutgers University. He served in the United States Air Force. Fred modeled his life after his God-revering, coal mining father. He was a natural born entrepreneur, never without a business plan. "Without a plan, a dream is only a dream. " At age 11, he sold Cloverine Salve door to door in Rockford, OH. By 25, he was the youngest bank president in the state of Ohio. He was a national bank examiner for the US Treasury and was involved in starting Tower National Bank in Lima, OH. He served as CFO for several companies and was a financial consultant for corporations all over the world. Fred never met a stranger, had a heart of gold and always had a kind word for every person who crossed his path. He loved everyone and did whatever he could to help others. He was an active member of Lions Club (Lima, OH and Reno, NV), Antioch Shrine (Dayton, OH) and Elks Club (Lima, OH). He was a Master Mason belonging to Shanes Lodge in Rockford, OH, Morningstar Lodge #795, Springfield, OH, Scottish Rite, York Rite and Antioch Shriners of Dayton. Fred was a loving husband and father, always focused on providing for his family. He was extremely social, loved people, traveling, having fun and making special memories. He had a magnetic presence. He loved pizza and card parties, was a great dancer and could have written a book on "gift of gab". After he retired, he enjoyed painting. He created many special paintings, including a collection of his family heritage, The Hensley Settlement at Cumberland National Park. Fred is survived by his wife, Beverly of Springfield; daughter, Debbie Marsee Asbill of Columbia, SC; son, Stephen Marsee (Teresa) of Dayton, OH; daughter, Pamela Young (Joseph) of Marysville, OH; 5 grandchildren - Jarrod Goare (Brittany), Westerville, OH; Lindsay Hodges (Blake), Greenwood, SC; Brett Goare (Lacey), Marysville, OH; Tiffany Goare (Matt Kates), Raymond, OH; Jake Millwee (Ashley), Indianapolis, IN; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Rex Marsee (Kay), Loudon, TN.; a brother-in-law, Lester Myers (Bonita), Convoy, OH and many nieces and nephews. Together, they shared over 55 years of marriage. Denise was a homemaker and a graduate of Van Wert High School. Surviving are her husband, Federico; daughters, Regina (Greg) Adam and Milissa Martinez, both of Convoy; grandchildren, Taylor Martinez, Vincent Adam and Quintin Adam; and a sister, Dorinda Sue (Donald) Dempsey of Convoy. Obituary Preview: Deaven Marie Vedrinski, 23, passed away at Nationwide Children's Hospital on March 27, 2021. She was born February 27, 1998 to Tonja Vedrinski and Tim Vedrinski. She is preceded in death by her mother, Tonja, and grandparents Reba "Marie" Millay and Thomas Michael Millay. Deaven is survived by her loving father Tim Vedrinski, brother Kyle (Cindy) Erwin, nephew Gabe Erwin, niece Harper Erwin, and uncle Mike (Shannon) Millay. Deaven also leaves behind her much-loved cat Gizmo. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the ICU nurses at Nationwide Children's Hospital, most especially Ashley, Breanna, Sara, Missy, Jessica, Megan, Mary Beth, Heather, and Carol. You were wingless angels and provided stellar care throughout Deaven's stay. Thank you to John, Charlotte, Tim, and the rest of the Gender Road Christian Church. Deaven lived life with strength and courage. She enjoyed the gym, Italian food, Christmas, the Columbus Zoo, fishing, and watching the season change in the fall. With family ever at her center, Deaven loved watching movies with her mom, spending quality time with her dad, and taking silly selfies with her nephew Gabe. Never one to be without a stash of snacks, Deaven was a major fan of chocolate, orange Power aid, and purple Doritos. Throughout Deaven's life, she faced many challenges including diabetes, broken bones, and cancer. Even in the face of adversity, she never complained, drawing from the same strength so many people admired in her amazing mom. After suffering a significant injury in college, Deaven found her way to the Columbus School of Practical Nursing where she was attending her last trimester. Prior to her illness, Deaven was employed at the Canal Winchester Nursing and Rehab Center. There is no doubt that Deaven would have been a caring and compassionate nurse. A note from her father: "Since mom passed in August, we became one. Her love gave me such strength. She taught me how to be a father and what unconditional love truly is. We will never be the same. See you and mom again someday." A celebration of life for Deaven Marie Vedrinski and Loma Tonja Vedrinski to be held May 1, 2021 at the Gender Road Christian Church at 6:00pm. Obituary Preview: Linda L. Myers, 80, of Convoy, passed away March 24, 2019 at Van Wert Manor. She was born June 11, 1938, in Paulding County, to the late Chester and Mildred Figert. On April 27, 1957, she married Byron "Barney" Myers. He preceded her in death on Feb 18, 2008. Linda was a lifelong partner with her husband in the farming business. She was employed for 50 years at the Union State Bank. After retiring, she enjoyed her trips to Vegas, going to auctions, working in her flower beds and spoiling her dogs. Most of all, Linda loved seeing her grand kids and watching them grow. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her children: Valerie "Susie" (Steve) Wood and Larry (Elaine) Myers; siblings: Russell (Millie) Figert; Robert "Gus" (Jean) Figert; Richard "Dick" Figert; Donna Flagg; five grandchildren: Amy, Mimi, Corey, Cole and Jeremy; three step-grandchildren: Jennifer, Amanda and Matthew; seven great grandchildren: Ashley, Carrie, Donavon, Emily, Mara, Makenzie and Elliot; four step great grandchildren: Jack, Karlee, Deven and Lanee; one great-great grandson, Carter; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Patsy Blankenship and sister-in-law, Romaine Feasby. On November 26, 1949 she married Verlin P. Feasby, who passed away in 1975.
Eleanor will be sadly missed by her daughter, Cindy (Dale) Smith of New Haven, IN; sons, Scott (Barb) Feasby of New Haven, IN; Stan (Ann) Feasby of Antwerp, OH; grandchildren, Tracey (Jared) Mull, Dustin (Brenda) Smith, Lisa (Drew) Linder, Mindy (Brian) Carter, Cody (Cassandra) Feasby, Abby Feasby; 11 great grandchildren.
