Obituary Preview: Mr. Johnny Oral Wilson, Age 68, of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away at his residence Saturday April 9, 2022.
Johnny, was born in Grayson, Kentucky August 22, 1953 to the late Willard and Cloma Faye Blevins Wilson.  Johnny was of the Christian faith and loved to go fishing.  He also liked to go camping and visiting with his friends.
Preceded in death was his Wife Kathy Wilson.
Surviving Johnny is a brother James (Jane) Wilson of Vanceburg, Kentucky.
Along with several nieces and nephews who also will mourn his passing.
A Memorial service will be held Tuesday April 12, 2022 at 5:00 pm at the Aills Christian Church with Brother James A. Wilson officiating.

Ernest E. Corns III - July 11, 1982 - April 09, 2022

Obituary Preview: Mr. Ernest E. Corns III, Age 39, of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away Saturday April 9th, 2022 at his home surrounded by family, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Ernest was born in Portsmouth, Ohio July 11, 1982 to Ernest and Susan Billman Corns Jr. of Vanceburg, Kentucky. Ernie worked at Superior Composite in Black Oak for 18 years. Ernie enjoyed Hunting, Fishing, Tinkering with his vehicles, four-wheel riding with his friends, and spending time with his friends and family. He was a member of the I’ll Talk for Jesus Pentecostal Church.
Left to cherish Ernest’s memories is his loving wife Krystin Grant Corns. Two daughters Hailey Evans (Kolby) and Caylee Evans (Jordan) both of Vanceburg, Kentucky.  One Grandson Kru Thompson. Sister Julia (Anthony) Bloomfield, Brother Matthew (Jackie) Corns, a cousin who Ernest thought of as a brother David 'Corndog' (Celeste) Corns, Mama Connie Holland, Mother-n-law Tina Grant, Nieces Elaynna and Raynna Osborne, MacKenzie and Charlotte Corns, Nephew- Trenton Bloomfield.   Sister-n-law Nycole (Jake) Osborne and Lyndsi Grant.
Preceded in death are paternal Grandparents Ernest and Julia Corns Sr., Maternal Grandparents Earl and Freda Billman, Papa Sunny Holland, Father-n-law Timothy Grant, Sister in infancy Dana Corns, Nephew Joshua Bloomfield.
Visitation will be Wednesday April 13, 2022 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Gaydos Funeral Home 159 2nd street Vanceburg, Kentucky 41179.
Funeral Services will be Thursday April 14th, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gaydos Funeral Home with Brother Tony Corns officiating. Burial will be in the Waring Cemetery in Garrison, Kentucky.

Randy Clay Ruggles Sr. - January 29, 1953 - April 08, 2022

Obituary Preview: Mr. Randy Clay Ruggles Sr., Age 63, of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away Friday April 8th, 2022 at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.
Randy was born in Maysville, Kentucky January 29, 1959 to the late Norman Lee and Louise Iery Ruggles.  Randy was owner and operator of Ruggles Trucking Company until 2019.  He then started working for the W. B.  Transport Company out of London, Kentucky for the last 3 years.
Randy was a member of the Bethel Methodist Church.  He also liked going fishing, watching U.K. basketball.  He loved traveling all over the country.  He was very fond of his dog (Skip).
Left to cherish Randy’s memories is his wife Robin Baldwin Ruggles of Tollesboro, Kentucky.
Sister- Brenda Himes of Vanceburg, Kentucky.
Brother- Jerry Ruggles of Ribolt, Kentucky.
Several nieces and nephews also survive who will mourn his passing.
Preceded in death beside his parents was a son Randy Clay Ruggles Jr., Companion- Dianna Ruggles, brother- Billy Ray Ruggles, and a special nephew Ryan Patrick Himes.
Visitation will be Tuesday April 12, 2022 from 5-8 P.M. at the Gaydos Funeral Home 159 2nd street Vanceburg, Kentucky 41179.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday April 13th, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at the Gaydos Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Sweeney and Reverend Jack Powers officiating.  Burial will follow in Lewis County Memory Gardens Black Oak, Kentucky.

Obituary Preview: Earl Wayne Watson, Age 88, of Columbus, Ohio passed away Tuesday April 5, 2022.  Earl attended Community Free Will Baptist Church, he was a self-employed contractor throughout his lifetime.  Earl lived a full and happy life and will be remembered as one of the kindest and most wonderful human beings.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Rachel Watson; daughter, Pamela Logan; sisters, Geri Dewey, and Vivian Lykins; brother, Kenneth Watson.
Earl is survived by his loving wife Shirley of 49 years; children, Michele Clay, James Watson, Stacey Mackey, Jeff (Helen) Watson, Rick (Carolyn) Watson, Rhonda Helphensteine; siblings, Doris Stamm, Frank Watson, Alma (Floyd) Gilbert, Wendell (Marge) Watson; many loving grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  Special thanks to grandchildren: Zach (Mersadies) Clay, Kayla, BrieAnna Clay, and Corey Watson.
Visitation will be Thursday April 14, 2022 from 5- 6:30 pm at the Rader-McDonald-Tidd Funeral Home, 1355 W. Main Street, West Jefferson, Ohio 43162. The Funeral Service will immediately follow visitation at 6:30 P.M., with Pastor Jerry Newman officiating.

Obituary Preview: Mr. Dale Russell Eltzroth, Age 65, of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away March 22, 2022 with his family by his side at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio.
Dale was born in Wilmington, Ohio February 19, 1957 to the late Russell Eugene Eltzroth and Pearl Faye Evans Flynn of Mason, Ohio.
Dale, worked in construction in Ohio, Kentucky, and Texas.  He loved tinkering with old cars, and was very fond of antique cars.  Also loved his dogs.  Dale was of the Pentecostal faith.
Left to cherish his memories is his wife whom he married July 15, 2017 in West Portsmouth, Ohio Carol Reynolds Eltzroth.
Mother- Pearl Faye Evans Flynn of Mason, Ohio.
Sister- Connie (Nick) Wilson of Wilmington, Ohio.
A special nephew- Justin Young of Clarksville, Ohio.
Two daughters- Rebecca Montgomery of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, and Virginia Anne Montgomery of Morehead, Kentucky.
Son- Edward Owen Montgomery, of Columbia, South Carolina.
Step-sister- Amy Armstrong Collins of Wilmington, Ohio.
Four grandchildren- Aria Marie Jones, Lane Colton Moore, Alyssa Moore, and Kylynn Lily Temperance Montgomery.
Two special friends John and Jeff Thurman of Vanceburg, Kentucky.
Many cousins and friends also survive who will mourn his passing.
Preceded in death beside his father was his step father Jack Flynn and step brother Tom Armstrong.  Cousin Jeffrey Lee Wilson.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday April 10, 2022 from 2-5pm at Mac D’s 1400 W. Locust Street Wilmington, Ohio.

Edward "Ted" Willim III - November 21, 1932 - March 20, 2022

On Sunday, March 20th, 2022, Edward “Ted” Willim III of Vanceburg, Kentucky, devoted husband, uncle, brother and father, died of Covid. He is survived by his children, Valarie Elizabeth Rabung (Thomas), Stephanie Willim-Ostmann (Kevin Ford) and niece Karen Ruping.  He was blessed with six grandchildren; Bryan Rabung, Matthew Rabung (Alex), Christopher Rabung (Candice King), James Ostmann (Haley), Hans Ostmann and Lars Ostmann and three great granddaughters Maddison Doyle, Mylene Rabung and Reagan Rabung.
He was predeceased by his parents Edward Willim, Jr. and Christine Kirby Willim, his wife, Marilyn June Baker Willim, his brother Donald Kirby Willim (Burgi Willim), and his son Edward Willim IV. He was a graduate of Ben Franklin University with a Masters degree in Accounting. He worked for the National Institutes of Health Department of Health and Human Services prior to retiring to the family farm in Vanceburg, KY where he enjoyed being a gentleman farmer. He was health conscious, ran marathons and was an avid soccer player. His quick wit, generous heart and easy-going personality won the hearts of family and friends. He was active in the Maysville Presbyterian Church serving as Deacon, volunteering as the treasurer for the Vanceburg Fire Department and an active member of the VFW. He also served in the Army during the Korean War. He leaves behind a legacy of love and giving which is now bestowed upon his children and grandchildren.
Viewing will be at Gaydos Funeral Home in Vanceburg, KY on Friday, March 25th 5:00-8:00pm. Funeral Services will be at First Presbyterian Church of Maysville on Saturday, March 26th at 10:00am with Pastor Jim Dougans presiding. Obituary Preview: Mr. Marvin E. Griffitt, Age 66, of Tollesboro, Kentucky passed away unexpectedly Sunday March 20th, 2022 at his home.
Marvin, was born in Lewis County, Kentucky April 10, 1955 to the late Louis and Zelma Toller Griffitt.  He was a carpenter by trade, and loved to go fishing and watching good westerns on TV.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and his grandchildren.
Left behind to cherish his memories is his wife of 30 years whom he married January 9, 1992 Jacqulin Griffitt of Tollesboro, Ky.
Three daughters- Shawnda (Aaron) Farley and Mary Griffitt both of Vanceburg, Ky.  Shanalee (Chris Branham) Applegate of Morehead, Ky.
One son- Emil Bloomfield of Perth, Australia.  18- grandchildren and 19-great grandchildren.
Four sisters- Helen Whisman, Lilly Whisman, Ruth McDaniel, and Lucille Butler.
Two brothers- Chester Griffitt and Lester Griffitt.  Along with many family and friends who also  will mourn his passing.
Preceded in death beside his parents was a son- Bradley Griffitt, brothers- Maurice Griffitt and Lewis Griffitt.  Grandson- Gage Carpenter.

Betty, was born in New Castle, Indiana February 14th, 1945 to the late Herbert Russell and Nannie Belle Gilliam Zornes.  Betty, loved being outdoors as much as she could.  She also liked doing her quilting.  Most of all she LOVED her family.  Betty was a member of the Union Baptist Church. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Morehead State University in 1993.
Preceded her in death was her husband of 51 years Elwood E. Crawford in May 2017.  Three children- Archie Crawford, Chad Crawford, and Helen Crawford.
Left to cherish Betty’s memories is a daughter- Bonnie Crawford of Lexington, Kentucky; two sons- Woody (Lisa) Crawford of Petersburg, Virginia, and Paul (Sandy) Crawford of Jackson, Kentucky.
Sister- Bertha (Joe) Topper, two brothers- Lennie (Wilma) Zornes, and Jimmy (Yvonne) Zornes.  9-grandchildren along with many other family and friends who will mourn her passing.
Visitation will be Friday March 11th, 2022 from 1:00 -4:00 pm at the Gaydos Funeral Home 159 2nd street Vanceburg, Kentucky 41179.

Kathy was born in Vanceburg, Kentucky January 8th, 1961 to the late Earl and Marjorie Chinn Lykins.  Kathy, worked for the Pinnacle Bank in Vanceburg for over 24 years.  She was a homemaker and loved chatting on the phone with her family.  She also like to play on her tablets.  She attended Southern Manor Baptist Church where she was baptized.  Kathy, adored, her grandchildren spending as much time as she could with them.
Preceded in death beside her parents was a son, Jason Heater, sisters- Rebecca Stafford, and Lisa Meadows; brothers- Donald Lykins, Ronald Lykins; and a daughter-in-law- Melissa Heater.
Left to cherish Kathy’s memories are two sons- Chad Heater, and Josh Heater (Jessica) both of Garrison, Kentucky.
Sister- Jackie (Michael) Howard- Vanceburg, Kentucky.
Brothers- Michael (Vickie) Lykins, and Dusty (Lynn) Lykins both of Vanceburg, Kentucky.

Lowell Buck Toller - November 02, 1941 - February 17, 2022

Obituary Preview: Lowell ‘Buck’ Toller Sr., Age 80, of Vanceburg, Kentucky, passed away Thursday morning, February 17th, 2022, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.
Buck, as he was known by family and friends was born in Lewis County, Kentucky November 2nd, 1941 to the late Burl and Agnes Pollitt Toller.
Lowell recently joined the Christian faith.  He retired from being a riverboat captain after 38 years of service.  He enjoyed being outdoors, working on chainsaws and lawnmowers, checking out eBay, watching the news, and spending time with family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Lloyd Toller, Dale Mackey, Earl Toller, Burl Toller Jr., and Doug Toller; four sisters- Lena Wells Toller, Robin Toller, Juanita Hilton, and Jewell Lawson.
Left to cherish Lowell’s memories is his wife of 61 years, Patty Flinders Toller of Vanceburg, Kentucky.
One son- Lowell Toller Jr. and his wife Vicki of Wilmington, Ohio.
One daughter- Cindy (Robert) McKee of Vanceburg, Kentucky.
One granddaughter- Amber Hesselbrock (Phillip) of Cincinnati, Ohio, 3-great-grandchildren, James, Elijah, and Leah Hesselbrock; two brothers- Floyd Toller of Vanceburg, Kentucky, and Charlie Toller of Tollesboro, Kentucky; and three sisters, Bessie Kilbreth of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, Mary Lou Foster of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Brenda Hollar of Wallingford, Kentucky.  He also leaves many other family members and friends who will mourn his passing.
Visitation will be Monday February 21st, 2022 from 1:00 pm till 2:00 pm at the Gaydos Funeral Home 159 2nd street Vanceburg, Kentucky 41179.

Obituary Preview: Thomas A. Switzer, Age 70, of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away unexpectedly Wednesday February 9, 2022 at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio.
Tom was born in Lewis County, Kentucky June 1, 1951 to the late Clarence ‘Coot’ Thomas and Mima Royal Switzer.  Tom worked for the U. S. Mail as a courier for 45 years.  He also owned and operated Switzer Body Shop for 40 plus years.  Tom was a member and Associate pastor at the Argillite Nazarene Church.  Tom, loved spending time with his family and adored being with his grandchildren.  He was known for his hard work ethics and dedication to his family.
Left to cherish Tom’s memories is his wife of 18 years- Vickie Fearis Switzer of Vanceburg, Kentucky.
Daughters- Sheryl (Tim) Wright of Vanceburg, Kentucky; Tracy (Daniel) Duncan of Foxport, Kentucky.
Sons- Daryl (Francesca) Switzer, and William (Amanda) Switzer both of Vanceburg, Kentucky.
Chris (Katherine) McCall- Edgewood, Kentucky.
Sisters- Thelma (Wayne) King of Nevada, Ohio; Sue Kennedy, Robin (Ray) Polley of Vanceburg, Kentucky, and Donna (Mike) Grayson of Tollesboro, Kentucky.
Brothers- Rick Switzer, and Charles (Debra) Switzer of Vanceburg, Kentucky.
10 grandchildren and 3-great-grandchildren also survive who will mourn his passing.
Preceded in death beside his parents were three sisters- Kathy Rose Wilson, Jane Yates, and Carol ‘Georgi’ Switzer.  One brother- James ‘Bubbles’ Switzer.

Son- Tony (Theresa) Rizzo of Vanceburg, Kentucky.
Sister- Carolyn Sue Martin of Stanford, Kentucky.
Grandchildren- Kelsey Rizzo, Logan (Morgan) Cooper, Mykaela Bevins, A.J. Rizzo, and Phoenix Rizzo.  Great-grandson Jonah Cooper.  Many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews along with other family and friends who will mourn her passing.
Preceded in death beside her parents was a brother Danny Steele.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday January 27th, 2022 at 10:00 am at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church with Fr. Andrew Young celebrant.  Burial will be at Lewis County Memory Gardens in Black Oak, Kentucky at a later date.

Obituary Preview: William Thomas Clark Jr., Age 90, of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away Saturday January 15th, 2022 with his family by his side at the Hartland Hills Assisted Living Center in Lexington, Kentucky.
Bill Tom, as he was known by family and friends was born in Covington, Kentucky June 20th, 1931 to the late William T. Clark Sr. and Anna Kathryn Ort.
Bill Tom received his Bachelor of Science, Master Degree, and PHD. from the University of Kentucky.  Early in his career he taught at Alabama Poly Technical Institute aka (Auburn University).  Teaching also at Indiana State College in Indiana, Pennsylvania, and Morehead State University in Morehead, Kentucky for 22 years.  Bill Tom, also taught in the Lewis County School system here in Vanceburg, Ky.
Bill Tom was a member of the Vanceburg United Methodist Church, Charter member of the Lewis County Historical society.  Became a Master Mason 67 years ago being raised to the sublime degree of a Master Mason.  Member of the Scottish Rites of Covington earning his 32nd degree.  Member of the Polar Star Lodge # 363 Free and Accepted Masons, and member of the Stone City Lodge # 963 Free and Accepted Masons.  Member of the Order of Eastern Star Alum City Chapter 222, was a Shriner of the El Hasa Temple in Ashland, Ky.
Left to cherish his memories are two sons- Thomas (Metta) Clark, and Albert Clark.
Two grandchildren- Damien Clark and Alex Clark.

Pam, was born in Bucyrus, Ohio November 6th, 1957 a daughter of the late Bruce and Mary Alice Hardymon Bayless.  Also, Marilyn Bayless who was a special mother who raised Pam.
Pam was STRONG in her Pentecostal faith.  She was a happy lady who enjoyed life.  Pam enjoyed her trips to Walmart, talking on the phone and loved doing laundry.  She cherished her family and loved every minute with them.
Left to cherish Pam’s memories is her Husband Steven Scott.
Two daughters- Ellen (Wayne) Smith, and Tami (George) Smith both of Tollesboro, Kentucky.
One son- Woodrow (Tracey) Mullins, of Tollesboro, Kentucky.
One bonus daughter- Peggy Ritchie of Tollesboro, Kentucky.

Obituary Preview: Timothy Franklin Bowden, Age 75, of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away Tuesday January 4th, 2022 with his family by his side at the Hospice of Hope Care Center in Maysville, Kentucky.
Tim was born in Crawford County, Georgia August 29th, 1946 to the late Rufus F. and Dorothy Rigdon Bowden.  Tim was very active in the community serving on the Vanceburg City Council, Vanceburg Lions Club, The Electric Plant Board, Adult Literacy Board.  Tim was a member of the Vanceburg Christian Church.  He retired from GTE/Verizon.  Tim, was well known for his BIG WARM hugs and love for his grandkids and family.
He enjoyed many years of retirement, traveling, & spoiling family and grandkids.
Preceded Tim in death beside his parents was his wife Carla Mae Sullivan Bowden March 29, 2008.
Left to cherish Tim’s memories are his daughter- Angela (Chris) Iery of Vanceburg, Ky.

Jackie and Kenny were married for 71 years August 10, 1950 in Vanceburg, Ky.

Tommy, was a member of the Carpenter Union Local 472 of Ashland, Kentucky.  He loved to go deer hunting, fishing, camping, four-wheeling, and Kayaking with his family.  Tommy and his wife Barb like to travel together going to different states. They also would put a garden in and do landscaping together.  His favorite was playing ‘MEAN DICE’ with Barb.

Beulah Faye Reis - July 28, 1932 - December 25, 2021

Obituary Preview: Beulah Faye Reis, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Christmas Day, 2021, after suffering a stroke.  She was 89.
Beulah was a gentle soul with a nurturing spirit for children, animals, and plants.  An accomplished seamstress, she created dozens of quilts, dolls, formal gowns, and numerous embroidered and crocheted items.  She loved to gather natural materials on her walks to create wreaths, and she was proud of her rose garden.
Beulah doted on her pet kitty-cats, muffins and Boo-Boo, and she made sure her feeders were full for the wild birds that she welcomed and delighted in watching.  Her apple dumplings and peach cobbler were favorites among family and friends.
For thirty years Beulah had been a supportive military wife, creating homes for her husband and five children from base to base during his career in the Air Force.  When he retired to his farm to raise beef cattle, she focused on home, church, and family while working for U.S. Shoe at the bow factory for 15 years.  She loved to travel, especially the trips she took to the West, Alaska, and other regions of the country with her sister-in-law, Ruth.
Her husband, James Rival Reis, preceded her in death in 2017 after having been married for 68 years.  Beulah had been the eldest member of the Fly Branch Church of Christ, where her father had been an elder and where she was baptized as a girl.
Her parents, Charles Elwood and Blanche Brewer Hauck, preceded her in death, as well as four sisters: Louella, Helen, Christine, and Oleta, and three brothers: Charles, William Elsworth, and Otha.  Her only son, George Douglas Reis, died in 2015.
Beulah was a loving mother to four daughters who survive: Wanda Sullivan of Maysville; Charlotte (Lewy) Cox of Logan, Ohio; Charlene (Albert) Stamm of Vanceburg; and Jennifer (Dale) Bentley of Garrison.
Ten grandchildren also survive, including Sean (Michele) Fugate of Middleburg, Florida; Joseph (Kelley) Bentley of Quincy; Jacob Bentley of Garrison; Kyle (Beth) Bentley of Madison, Alabama; Grace (Josh) Clark of Morehead; Eric (Krista) Cox, Jared Cox, and Kristen Cox (Jon Cottrill) all of Logan, Ohio; Jeremy Stamm, and Emily (Brandon) Hughes of Vanceburg.  Eighteen great-grandchildren, several special nieces and nephews and a sister-in-law, Bonnie (Jim) McKenzie of Maineville, Ohio, also survive.
Services will be held at Gaydos Funeral Home in Vanceburg at 1:00 pm on Thursday December 30th, 2021 with visitation from 11:00am until 1:00pm.  Her grandson Brother Joseph Bentley, will officiate.  Burial will follow at Lewis County Memory Gardens in Black Oak.  Beulah’s grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Obituary Preview: Mr. James W. ‘Tom’ McCane, Age 91, of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away Thursday December 23rd, 2021 at the Vanceburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Vanceburg, Ky.
Tom as he was known by family and friends was born in Vanceburg, Kentucky July 31st, 1930 to the late Henry Scott and Ermal Josephine Kennedy McCane.  Tom, in his earlier years worked for the Dominion Electric Company in Mansfield, Ohio also the Ohio Stove Company in Portsmouth, Ohio from there worked for the Browning manufacturing company in Maysville, Kentucky for over 20 years.  Tom loved to play his fiddle for his family in which they would take part and join in with their guitars.  Tom was a tinkerer always working on cars, appliances, or whatever needed to be worked on around the house.  He was a member of the Clarksburg Christian Church.  Tom was a veteran of the United States Army serving in the Korean conflict.  Most of all he loved his family and adored his grandchildren.
Tom’s memories will be left to cherish by his six sons- Mark (Sherry) McCane, Greg (Claudia) McCane, Jeff (Michelle) McCane, Chris McCane all of Vanceburg, Ky., Keith McCane of Morehead, Ky., and Steve (Cindy) McCane of Sumter, South Carolina.
Sister- Markie Caseman- Las Vegas, Nevada.
8 grandchildren- Anthony McCane, Autumn (Drew) Smith, Devin McCane, Eric Poynter, Dalton McCane, Zachary McCane, Kaleb McCane, and Sydney McCane.  13 great-grandchildren- Drey, Kemp, Reece, Finn, Piper, Cruz, Kash, Ethan, Emely, Tegan, Korbyn, Jase, and Brantley.
Preceded in death beside his parents was his wife Minnie Pearl Moore McCane in 2018, two sons- Kevin McCane and Kyle McCane.  Sister- Naomi Walje.  Brothers- Jude McCane, Naman McCane, and Hank McCane.
Funeral services will be Tuesday December 28th, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Clarksburg Christian Church with Pastor Barry Pettit officiating. Burial will follow in Lewis County Memory Gardens Black Oak, Ky.

Obituary Preview: Lloyd Wayne Lansberry, Age 78, of Lewis County, Kentucky passed away Sunday December 19th, 2021 at the Hospice of Hope Care center in Maysville, Kentucky.
Lloyd was born in Rilleyville, Virginia December 5, 1943 the son of the late Charles Edward and Anna lee Cook Lansberry.  Along with his parents he is preceded in death by a son Lloyd Wayne, two brothers, Charles and Roy Lansberry.  Three sisters- Frances, Marian, and Carol.
Lloyd is survived by his wife and companion Cindy Fox Lansberry for over 36 years.  Together they created customed built furniture, fast food restaurants, and built their own home.
Lloyd designed and built a low water bridge making it possible to access their home.  Lloyd was a welder, mold maker, cement worker, certified Ford mechanic, custom cabinet maker, and contractor.  He was a loving husband and dad.  Good friend to all.
