She was preceded in death by her father, maternal grandparents, and maternal great-grandparents. As a child she was extremely unique, she knew how to love without restraints. She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Mount Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church.
She was a graduate of East St. Louis Sr. High School, Class of 1991. While in High School she attended Southwestern Illinois University. After High School, she received three associate degrees in arts, culinary Arts, and childhood development.
In 1989, Kshe Stringer met Reginald Jones. On June 18, 1998, the two joined together in Holy Matrimony and became one. They enjoyed traveling and living their best life together. Their love for each other was real and never compromised. This union was blessed with two kings, Reginald Jones Jr. and Kishon Jones.
Kshe loved working with special needs children as a teacher’s assistant. Her passion was cooking at the Muny. She took pride in serving people and making them feel like they were special. Kshe never met a stranger. She was always caring and giving to so many she loved. Once she smiled, you knew she liked you. She loved shopping, visiting Wineries, cracking jokes with family and friends, and spending time with her family. Her laugh gave you joy! Her smile was uplifting. She carried a special bond for her beautiful Granddaughters, Jordyn and Alivia Jones. They were her pride and joy.
She was a member of New Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. B. A. Cureton. She enjoyed attending services with her family.
On June 22, 2023, God in HIS infinite wisdom made the decision to take her home with him. Kshe Monique Stringer-Jones was a true warrior. Through many circumstances of her life, she won them all.
Kshe leaves to cherish her memory her devoted husband, Reginald Jones Sr.; sons, Reginald Jones Jr. and Kishon Jones; daughter-in-law, Whitney Cuppett-Jones; granddaughters, Jordyn Amiyah Jones and Alivia Rae Jones; mother, Shirley Stringer-Wilkins; Mother & Father-In-Law, Delta & Charles Jones Sr.; siblings, Sylvia Becks, Keisha Stringer, Kyesha Stringer, and Kevin Stringer; Brother-in-Laws, Charles Jones Jr. & Leonardo Jones, special cousins, Latascha Stringer-Walker, and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, coworkers, and special friends.

Chester confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and was a member of the “Church of Jesus Christ” under the leadership of Pastor Alfred Brown. He was very active and would gladly support the Christian community regularly.
Chester was a part of the United States Army. While there he received his education achieving an associate in mechanical engineering which was a trade he mastered throughout his career. He was not only known as the family mechanic but had a special touch and extensive knowledge when it came to transmissions, engine replacement, & repair. He was proficient with whatever task given. Chester was known for his carefree spirit, making sure everyone laughed, and
always going out of his way to make sure you had a good time if you were in his presence.
Chester leaves to cherish his precious memories, 10 loving children Carl, Laron (Christy) Walton, Mynel Gordon, Travis Fowler, Quentin Williams, Tiara (Avion) Williams, Marshall McGee, Tiya Gordon, Javon Gordon, and Nykia Moody; two beautiful sisters, Gwendolyn (Alfred) Brown and Fitzhura Wallace and two caring brothers, Kevin (BooBoo) Carter, Richard Carter, sixteen grandchildren, a special love one, Patty Walton, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Obituary Preview: Robert Taylor was born October 18, 1953, in Marion, Arkansas to the union of Vera and Richard Taylor (both preceded him in death). He was the 6th of 10 Siblings. He was preceded in death by four siblings; Vera Mae, Willie (Punch), Jenkins, and Richard Jr. At an early age, his relatives relocated him to St. Louis, MO, where he attended and was educated in the St. Louis Public Schools System. Robert confessed hope in Christ at an early age at Paradise Temple under the leadership of Pastor Willie B. Nunley Sr. He was a faithful member over the years until
his death under the leadership of Pastor Charles Williams III. After a short stint in the United States Marine Core, Robert married Corinne Ruffin and to this union three children were born. Upon the dissolution of his first marriage, he met, fell in love, and married his
current wife, Brenda Ward in 1986. To this union one daughter was born. He was a loyal employee of the Metropolitan Sewer District for 31 years, Robert decided in 2015 to say, “good-bye work tension and hello my pension” and retired from MSD. While retired, he kept his wife, children, grandchildren, and friends entertained with his many antics, jokes, and
visits.
Robert was a loving and dedicated husband, father, sibling, and friend. He was ALWAYS available when asked for help. the word “NO” was not a part of his vocabulary and his infectious laugh will always be remembered. He was known to many as “Mr. T” and known for his famous greeting referencing to everyone as "Kinfolk", good times, travel,
fun, and affection was shared by him with both family and friends. Early in 2023 Robert was diagnosed with the dreadful and insidious disease of pancreatic cancer. When “medical miracles” failed and pain persisted, God, our Father, looked down at his suffering son and upon
HIS decree the Angel of Death swept in and carried his soul to the throne. "He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away." Revelation 21:4 Roberts leaves to cherish his transgression, a loving wife Brenda; four children: Saletra (Tony), Robert Jr. (JoAnn), Johnny (Tameka) and Robin; three Godchildren, Danielle, Dominique, and Jerika; two
brothers, Johnny Taylor of Joliet, IL, and David (Ray ) Taylor, of St. Louis, MO; three sisters, Betty Samara (Sam) of St. Louis, MO, Jennie
