June (Junie) Halm (nee Johnston), 86 of Chicago, Illinois passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 11, 2016, at Avow Hospice in Naples, Fl. She is predeceased by her parents Thomas and Alice (Manning) Johnston, former spouse Robert Halm, son Tracy Halm, brothers William Johnston, Thomas (Buddy) Johnston, Joseph Johnston, sisters Marge (Stack), Charlotte (Chrapkiewicz) and Jane Wesslowski.
June is survived by her loving sister Eileen (Tallet); devoted sons Patrick (Sandra) Halm, Robert (Janet) Halm, and Thomas Halm.
Grandchildren; Tricia, Joanne, William (Addy), Brandy, Thomas, Sean, Erica, Shannon (Israfil) Alsafa, Robert (Ana), Jonathan (Mito), Amanda (Jake) Theis, and Nicole (Mike) LaGiglio.
Great grandchildren, Ralph, William Jr., Joseph, Logan, Jack, Isabella, Aliya and Luciana.
Great great grandchild, Juliana. She had many fond nieces and nephews.
June was very proud that she graduated from Jones Commercial, where she learned secretarial skills. She worked at Plunkett Chemical Co., and Johnson & Johnson just to name a few.
She was a caregiver to several elderly people. She also was a mentor and mother figure for young people.
She had a gift and a natural ability for working with children.
June loved dancing, telling stories, and her own jokes.
She loved being Irish. She loved Chicago especially the South Side where she grew up in Canaryville.
She was a true lover of life and is going to be missed by everyone.
Memorial Mass will be held at St. Jane De Chantal at 5252 S. Austin, Chicago., IL., on Friday, June 24, 2016 at 10:00am. For more information, please call Garfield Cares at 269-596-5288.

Daniel Patrick Cavin was born on December 9th, 1948, in Minneapolis, MN to Robert and Beverly Cavin and was raised in a large family of six siblings: Sue, Steve, Mary, Maggie and Bobby Cavin. He made his living as a Class A contractor in construction before becoming disabled later in life.
Daniel had a great sense of humor and loved his family. He enjoyed martial arts, getting a bargain, gardening, tending to his animals, desserts and anything sci-fi. He was pre-deceased by both parents Beverly and Robert Cavin, his brother Steve Cavin, his ex-wife Danielle Cavin (Mother of Natalie and Savannah Cavin), his Grandson,
Michael Anthony Dunn, and a Nephew, Scott Richard Chadderdon. Daniel is survived by his children and grandchildren: Daughter, Christine Cavin - (grandchildren) Megan, Bethany and Michael Daughter, Kerry Cavin - (grandchildren) Ava and Leah Son, Daniel Cavin - (grandchildren) Emma, Grace, Kennedy and Charlotte Daughter, Natalie Cavin - (grandchildren) Annabella, Carolina and Leanora Daughter, Savannah Cavin - (grandchildren) Emily and Daniel Christopher He is also survived by four of his five siblings: Brother, Bobby Cavin Sister: Sue Cavin Sister: Mary Cavin Sister: Maggie Cavin
