She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Margaret was a longtime member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God in Mt. Ephraim. The time she cherished the most was spent with her family.

Obituary Preview: It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Pete F. Derkotch, Jr. (Petee) on April 30, 2024, at 74 years of age. Pete passed away peacefully with family by his side.
He will be lovingly remembered by his sisters Linda (Leonard) Gigliobianco and Jayne (Richard) Fedore; nieces and nephews John (Lana) Placyk, Jr., Michael (Cristina) Placyk, Peter Placyk; Richard Fedore, Jr., Melissa (Richard) Mandis, and Cecilia (Robert) Wentworth. Also, his great nieces and nephews Willa, John E., Petal Placyk, Michael Anthony Placyk, and Lillian Mandis. He will be deeply missed by his buddy, Caleb.
Pete was predeceased by his parents Peter and Virginia Derkotch, his love and long-time companion, Susan Placyk and their cat Dottie.
Pete was a graduate of Camden County College. He was self-employed for many years as a carpet installer and co-owner of a carpet store. From there he worked for Home Depot where he retired to take care of his ailing parents.
Pete was a very generous man. He loved helping people fix things. You would always find him working on cars with someone. His favorite thing was going to auctions or flea markets with friends. He loved his animals with all his heart so we are asking if you would like to make a donation in Pete's name to Animal Welfare Association, 509 Centennial Boulevard, Voorhees, NJ 08043, www.awanj.com

Beloved husband of 80 years to Clara Martino (nee DeCecco). Devoted father of Carmen Martino, Jr. (Julia), Dolores Baratti, Michael Martino, and the late Dante Martino. Loving grandfather of Carmen Martino, III, Nicole Busser (Ed), and Paul Baratti. Great grandfather of Devyn Martino, Eddie, Logan and Josephina Busser. Dear brother of the late Philomena and Daniel. he is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Carmen proudly served in World War II with the Army Corp of Engineers in Europe and the South Pacific on Okinawa, where he survived a hurricane that completely wiped out all the tents and equipment into the ocean. He was a member of the Runnemede VFW and American Legion Post 281. He was also a member of the Gloucester Twp. Senior Club where he enjoyed playing poker every Friday with his friends. Carmen loved to watch sports, especially baseball. Anyone that knew him knew he had a passion for driving, collecting and selling Volkswagen Beetles. He was always ready with a joke and enjoyed teasing everyone. Carmen will always be in our hearts.
There will be a viewing will be at 10 am to 11 am on Friday, May 3, 2024. Followed by a memorial service at 11am at the funeral home. Interment will be private.

Monforto III (Jamie), his siblings Don (Kathleen), John (Debbie), Dona (Doug), his two grandsons, Samuel and Zachary, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and his two precious Cats Sophie and Chloe. He is pre-deceased by his parents and his brother Michael (Mary). Joe enjoyed fast cars, oldies music, and food. Joe was also an avid Philadelphia sports fan, music and animal lover.

Toni was a loving soul. 'Our Mom and G-Ma' loved nothing more than to take care of her family. She was someone who could make you laugh and have a good time with. She was a fun and spunky woman who told it like it was. She was honest and true and was someone you could always count on to be there for you even if she didn't agree. She was a hard worker all of her life. Her heart was made of pure love and anyone who knew her felt it. She was the most generous woman who would give and give. Toni was the most amazing woman and to know her was a gift.
She looked forward to feeding her birds and squirrels. She loved sitting out on the deck on a beautiful sunny day, enjoying a nice hot cup of tea. She really liked to scratch a good lottery ticket and enjoyed the occasional casino trip to play the penny slots. Toni was a wizard in the kitchen, always cooking and baking something delicious. From her cookies and cakes to her stuffed peppers and homemade soups- everything she made was the best. She lived a great life full of endless memories with the people she loved. She loved her family and that love is something we will always carry with us. She will be so deeply missed.

Mary was born in Camden to Walter and Helen Mikolajczewski and was one of 7 siblings. She was a devoted parishioner of Holy Child Parish, St. Teresa's Church for many years and prior to that, St. Gregory's Church of Magnolia. Mary loved spending her time reading Danielle Steel books, playing in bowling leagues with her friends, traveling with her late husband (Forrest) and socializing in senior citizens clubs. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and cooking her famous grilled cheese for her grandchildren. As she always said "She was just going with the flow". She is also known for her infectious laugh, smile and joy for life.
There will be a viewing at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE, on Thursday from 9:15-10:15am. Funeral Mass to follow at 11am at Holy Child Parish, St. Teresa's Church. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery, Chews Landing.

In addition to her role as a devoted wife and mother, Arlene was known for her passion for singing, bowling, skiing, and her deep commitment to church life. Her captivating voice filled the halls with melodies that lifted spirits and brought joy to all who heard her sing.
She was also a formidable force on the bowling lanes, where her skill and competitive spirit earned her admiration from friends and opponents alike. Arlene's unwavering faith and dedication to her church community at Almonesson United Methodist Church were evident in all aspects of her life, as she served with compassion and devotion, enriching the lives of those around her.
Her zest for life and contagious laughter brightened the darkest of days, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Though she may be physically absent, Arlene's spirit will continue to guide and inspire those who were fortunate enough to have been touched by her presence. As we mourn her loss, let us also celebrate the incredible life she lived and the profound impact she had on the world around her.

She loved to dance and entertain. Anne brought a light and joy to those around her. Her infectious energy and warm smile made every gathering a special event. She will be missed dearly by all.

Godmother of Kellinda Cosme and Casey Holmes. Jeanette is survived by many extended family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her kindness, caring, and compassion.
Jeanette was raised in Camden and graduated from Camden County Vocational Technical School. After meeting Jimmy, it was love at first sight. They grew to become each others best friends. Jeanette found strength and comfort in her Catholic faith. Jeanette was proud of her accomplished career as a Director of Eligibility, Enrollment, Charity Care and Medicaid with Cooper Hospital. She was a fantastic cook who loved to travel, especially to Puerto Rico. Above all, family was most important to her. She truly cherished when everyone was together.

Obituary Preview: Helen Connolly, age 88, passed away on April 11, 2024, at Shady Lane Nursing Home in Clarksboro, NJ. She was born on August 8, 1935 in Queens, NY. She grew up in the Brooklyn, NY area, Helen was always known for her Brooklyn accent and sassy personality.
In the 1950's, Helen modeled and was a valued employee at White Castle restaurant where she often won the "silver dollar" award for her excellent customer service. In the 1966, Helen built a new home in Turnersville, NJ and moved there with her husband Rod and her two older children, their youngest daughter to be born the following year.
Helen worked at A.L. Hyde in Glenloch, NJ for 20 when she retired and opened her own cleaning service which she operated for 30 years. Helen donated her free time pet sitting and helping seniors, friends and loved ones with whatever they needed as well as babysitting her beloved grandchildren. Family was everything to her, she was always the first to step up when someone was in need. She was predeceased by husband Roderick Thomson, a granddaughter Jennifer Clugh, her sisters Katherine, Mary, and Teresa, her bothers Mike and Walter, a niece Colleen
an a nephew Kevin.
She a loving mother to her daughters, Rachel Herman (Roy), Tracy Clugh (Steve), and Kim Thomson. Doting MeMom to grandchildren, Robyn Cleavenger (Colby), Katrina Clugh (Bill), Stephen Clugh Jr (Joyce), Roczanne Clugh (Teddy), Julia Harris, Logan Harris and to great grandchildren Chase, Leighla, Hazel, Gio, Atkins, Ollie, Jennifer. Beloved sister of Fred Connolly (Marie) and many nieces and nephews. Loving friends Mary Falco and Jane Thomas and her Fur babies Chloe and Baby.
Special thanks to Shady Lane Nursing Home and Caring Hospice Service for the loving care, companionship, spiritual guidance and comfort during Helen's stay.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her graveside service promptly at 2:45 pm on Tuesday April 16 at Hillcrest Cemetery Hurffville, NJ. There will a period of visitation from 2:30 pm until service time and again after the service till 3:30 pm. Arrangements by GARDNER FUNERAL HOME RUNNEMEDE, NJ.

Marion was born on March 12, 1928, in New Britain, CT, to her loving parents, Frank and Anna (Fijol) Lamphier. Marion was of the Catholic faith, a member of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, and a devoted parishioner of St. Jude Catholic Church in Blackwood NJ. Those who knew her at St. Judes would say she was the cornerstone of the church. Marion would marry the love of her life, William Francis Schramm, in 1953. The two would spend fifty-three glorious years together. She became a resident of Florida in October 2012, traveling from Blackwood, NJ, with her family during Hurricane Sandy. She was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society of St. Jude for 50 years. She was a coordinator of the St. Jude Prayer Line from 1985 to 2012. She was a Eucharistic minister for 35 years and a member of the Mary Mother Queen of Peace Prayer Group. Those who had the honor of having Marion pray for them knew that her lips were close to God. Marion loved to spend her time praying, gardening, reading, and sewing. Her love for crocheting was shown through the seventy-eight afghans that she made for her family. Marion was a gracious, kind, and patient woman. Those who came to know her refer to her as a living saint and an angel on earth.
Marion is survived by her beloved daughters, Annette Severino (Tony), and Diane Courtois (Len), beloved sons, Kevin Schramm (Ellie), William "Bill" Schramm (Monica), loving brothers Dwight Lamphier and Roy Lamphier, loving sisters Evelyn Niland and Dolores Egan, and beloved grandchildren Nathan, Erica, Ian, Eric, Zachary, Brandon, Liam, and great-grandchildren Jaqueline, William, and Thomas, and many nieces and nephews. Marion is predeceased by her loving parents Frank and Anna Lamphier, beloved son Gregory Schramm, loving brother Frank Lamphier, and loving sister Irene Watitt.
There will be a graveside service held on Monday, April 22, 2024 at 11am at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Blackwood, NJ.
