Obituary Preview: John Charles Keenan, 80, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 28, 2024, with his children by his side. He lived at NHC Fort Sanders due to an extended terminal illness.
John was born March 29, 1943, at Rock Island, TN. As a teen he loved hot rods and driving fast with childhood friend, Kenneth Keaton. John graduated from Centertown School in 1961 and later graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical Institute in Daytona Beach, Florida where he obtained his commercial multi-engine instrument flight rating.
His corporate pilot career began at Kerns Bakery where he flew for 15 years. After leaving Kerns, he accepted a position with Sun Oil and flew with close friend Jim Werley. After Sun Oil relocated to Philadelphia, John flew for TVA and stayed there until his retirement in 2008. John’s flying career spanned over 40 years. Once retired, John and Marilyn enjoyed many years dividing their time between East Tennessee and Ft. Myers Beach, FL.
John is preceded in death by his loving wife of 48 years, Marilyn Buchanan Keenan; his parents William Keenan and Leatrice V. Bratcher and stepfather Paul Northern; his children’s mother Jackie Renae Knight Keenan, his brother Thaddeus Morgan Keenan, and one granddaughter Tiffany Fleenor Stone.
John is survived by his three children: John Kent (Teresa) Keenan of Farragut; Charles Mark (Pam) Keenan of Somerset, KY; and Jacquelyn Caryl Keenan of Knoxville. Grandchildren: Samantha Thompson of Harriman; Kendra (Jonathan) Seagraves of Richmond Hill, GA; Sara Keenan of Somerset, KY; Johnny Keenan of Somerset, KY; Morgan Keenan of Oak Ridge; Ryann (Ryan) Kennedy of Powell; Savannah Ward of Chattanooga; Jake Keenan of Lenoir City; and William Ward of Farragut. Great-grandchildren: Haley Keenan, Gage Stone, Will Seagraves, Stella Seagraves, Ethan Thompson, Emma Thompson, and Collin Seagraves. One great-great-grandchild Beckham Keenan. One brother William “Bill” E. Keenan; and nieces and nephews.
John was a loving son, husband, father, and granddaddy who enjoyed spending time with his family. He was the master chef at the lake; the perfect driver of the ski boat; and a true supporter at ball games, dance recitals, school concerts, and family parties. John was a kind hearted and friendly man who loved the Lord. He was a member of Sevier Heights Baptist Church.

A private graveside service for family and close friends will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at 12 noon CST, at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Smartt, TN.

Mr. Roach is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and Kristin Roach of Rock Island, TN; Wilburn and Rebecca Roach of McMinnville, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Connie and William Grimes of Gruetli-Laager, TN; 18 Grandchildren, David (Marlee) Grimes, Anna (Andy) Center, Sonny (Tiffany) Roach, Chelsea (Derrick) Gann, Donald (Amanda) Roach, Jr., Heather Comfort (Kenny Page), Alichia (Will) Anderson, Brooke Kilgore, Richard (Sabrina) Pekarz, Rachel Pekarz, Brian (Savanah) Beedle, Aaron Roach, Ciara Roach, Beth Roach, Josh Roach, Steve Roach, Jr., Jackie Edmonds and Angie Haley; 26 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild, Colton Roach; several nieces, nephews and friends also survive.
He was an employee at the Carrier Corporation of 25 years and was a member of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ Apostolic Faith.
A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home with Bro. Jason Nunley and Ernie Cantrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Wilson Chapel Cemetery in Warren County.
The family will receive friends 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 23, 2023 and again at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home.

Mr. McCaleb is survived by his wife, Dian McCaleb of McMinnville, TN; son, Reverend Dr. Richard McCaleb of Northern California; sister, Carol Davenport and several nieces and nephews also survive.
He was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of the Church of God.
A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 22, 2023 at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Warren County.

Jimmy was born Tuesday, September 27, 1938 in Quebeck, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Claude Eugene Neal and the late Betty Miller McBride Neal.
Jimmy was a member of the Doyle Church of Christ. He was the warehouse manager at Spartans Shirt Factory where he was the last employee and signed his own pink slip and locked the doors for the last time. He then managed the warehouse at Suttons Shirt Factory from the day it opened until it closed. Jimmy has worked over 60 + years working in funeral homes in Van Buren, White, and Warren Counties. He loved helping others in their time of need. Jimmy was also a member of the Civil Defense of White County and a Charter Member of the White County Rescue Squad of which he was a lifetime member. Jimmy is survived by his: wife: Christine Buttrum Neal son: Kenneth Neal and wife Brenda daughter: Margaret Teeple and husband Dana 5 grandchildren: Michael Neal and wife Amanda Jeff Neal and wife Hillary MarLea Finch Jameson Teeple Kristen Teeple 4 great grandchildren: Rylee Luna Noah Teeple Claudia Neal Olivia Teeple brother: Joe Neal and wife Dianna 5 Sisters: Kathleen Rogol, Ruby Bennett, Zelma Brandenburg, Deamie Willhite, and Leta Humphrey
Many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and a host of friends also survive.
In addition to his parents, Jimmy was also preceded in death by his 3 sisters: Claudine Whitworth, Betty Jean Simmons, Lola Slatten, a infant brother Elmer Lee Neal, 2 infant sisters Sally Avo Neal and Ruth Leona Neal, and 3 infant great grandsons Joshua Cannon Neal, Elijah William Neal, and Amos Lee Neal.
A Funeral Service will be held at 3 PM Saturday, June 17, 2023 at the Doyle Church of Christ with R.C. Christian officiating. Interment will follow in the Jericho Cemetery in Quebeck, TN.

Mrs. Barrett is survived by her daughter, Jackie Womack of McMinnville, TN; son, Roger Womack of McMinnville, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Angie and Leon Tate of McMinnville, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Annette and Scottie Anderson of Beachgrove, TN; son and daughter-in-law, James Gregory and Debbie Davis of Ohio; 18 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and friends also survive.
Mary enjoyed baking and being a homemaker, she was a member of the Baptist Church.

Mr. King is survived by his wife, Ruby King of McMinnville, TN; son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Ellen King of Ardmore, AL; daughter, Peggy Haston and Barry Rogers of McMinnville, TN; son, Phillip King of Morrison, TN; grandsons, Chuck and Kelsey King, Devin Haston, William and Taylor King, Anthony Hurts, granddaughters, Courtney and Brent Hutchison, Jennifer Millraney, Emily and Matt Cope, Stephanie King, Shelly Wright, and 24 great-grandchildren also survive.
Wilson was a long time resident of Warren County, he loved to spend time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Dana loved a quite evening with family surrounded by nature listening to classic country music, she greatly enjoyed being in the kitchen cooking meals for her family. Dana left a positive impact on everyone she met and she will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.

Mathias of Clarksville, TN; Johnathan D. Mathias of Manchester, TN; great-great-grandson, Zax C. Mathias of Clarksville, TN; precious caregiver, Helen Mathias of McMinnville, TN; several friends also survive.
She was a member of the Church of God.

Velma was a homemaker, a factory worker and retired from Century Electric after 16 years of service. She also worked at Kroger and with Meals on Wheels where she loved to serve and help with her great smile. Velma always worked in the community helping others and just being the loving and caring person she was. She would spend a lot of her time visiting others in the nursing home and the hospital. Heaven is a lot sweeter because she is there with the love of her life, her husband Claudine. Velma is survived by three daughters, Debbie Hobbs of McMinnville, TN; Brenda Kaye Smith and husband, David of Indianapolis, IN; Martha Huffaker of Nashville, TN; two sisters, Alda "Tooter" Bandy and husband, Don of McMinnville, TN; Elizabeth "Sene" Winningham of McMinnville, TN; one brother, L.D. Nunley of McMinnville, TN;
