He attended Wyomissing Polytechnic School (WPI) and Penn State. He was a
Navy veteran and was honorably discharged in 1962. Michael was a member of Nativity BVM Ukrainian Catholic Church, Reading. He taught ballroom dancing at Arthur Murray’s in Reading for several years. He was employed at Parish Pressed Steel, a division of Dana Production Planning for 10 years and then Carpenter Steel retiring after 30 years in 2002 as a Production Analyst. He was also in the
coffeehouse business for several years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Christine Matus of Wyomissing, a son, Michael, husband of Robin Matus of Lititz. There are two sisters: Paddy Trombetta of South Carolina and Suzanne Downs of New York, two grandchildren: Sydney and Leah, nieces and nephews: Peter and Deborah Matus both of Reading, Todd Kreider of Shillington, Tony Trombetta of Georgia and Lisa
Trombetta of Ohio. Funeral services will be Thursday, April 25th at 10:00 AM in Nativity BVM Church, 504 Summit Avenue, Reading, PA 19611. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may pay their condolences

She made her First Profession of Vows on August 19, 1952. Sister taught the primary students in St. Joseph School, Athens, GA; Incarnation School, Palos Heights, IL;
Our Lady of the Sacred Heart School, Hilltown; St. John the Baptist School, Ottsville; St Henry School, Philadelphia; Holy Family School, Nazareth; Our Lady of Hungary School, Northampton; St. John the Baptist School, Allentown; and St. Peter School, Coplay. She also ministered as a tutor and office aide in Easton Catholic School. Besides the members of her religious congregation, Sister is survived by her nieces: Francine Miller and Beth Ann Wolfson, her nephews: Gordon and James Fehrenbach and many great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and two brothers Joseph Bruce and George Gordon. The viewing and Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Guardian Angels Parish Church, 3121 Kutztown Rd, Reading, PA 19605-2659. Born in Ashland, PA, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary (Noon) Kane. She made her First Profession of Vows on June 30, 1962. Sister ministered to the children at Sacred Heart Home in Coopersburg and served as a teacher aide in several parish schools. Sister taught Grade One at Holy Guardian Angels School, Reading, and at Holy Family School in Nazareth. One of her many joys was teaching Kindergarten for nine years at Our Lady of Hungary School, Northampton. In St. William Parish in Philadelphia, Sister worked in pastoral care to the homebound. She also served her MSC Community in Formation, as Coordinator of the Elderly Sisters at the Motherhouse, and in Province Leadership. Sister Anne was always willing to give of her time and talent. In addition to the members of her religious congregation, she is survived by her brothers: Michael (Heidi) and Joseph (Janelle), and her sisters: Sister Maureen St. Anne, IHM, Sara Kane, Theresa (Paul) Caruso, Rita (Gerald) Becoski, Paula (Thomas) Ryan, Sheila (William) Klementovich, and Maureen (Daniel) Orlando; many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand-nephews. Marjorie is survived by her son Francis Michael Przestrzelski & Lynne Susan Parker of Houston, TX; Sisters Grace & Archie McKee, of Atlanta, GA, Dorothy Bartlett of Oxford, MS; brother Raymond Abernathy of Germantown, TN; grandchildren Laura Kay George and Allison Marie Ellingburg; four great-grandchildren and her nephew John Kosmoski of Reading, PA.
She is preceded in death by her husband Francis Przestrzelski and her daughter Virginia Ann (Ginger) Przestrzelski.

antique sales, and real estate. Margaret shared nearly 55 years of devoted
marriage with her high school sweetheart, Eugene S. Mitchell. After Buffalo, they made their homes and enjoyed their lives in Passaic, NJ and Wyomissing,
PA. She was an excellent cook, baker, and consummate hostess. Margaret’s love of others came through every meal and care package she prepared, as well as her countless notes, greeting cards, gifts, and phone
calls. She maintained a keen interest in politics and real estate throughout her life and drew great joy from
gardening, reading, music, and swimming. A faithful, lifelong Catholic, Margaret’s caring, friendly and gentle personality, eternal optimism, and love of family will be remembered by all who

Kalliope was a lifelong member of Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, Reading, PA. She was active in the church and a proud member of the Philoptochos Society.
Kalliope was a devoted mother and grandmother. She is survived by son, Evan Pappas and wife Michelle of Reading; daughter, Elaine Triantis and husband Phillip of Anderson, SC, a sister, Maria Kotsakis and husband Dionisios, a brother, Hippocrates “Lucky” Deligiannis and wife Anna, seven grandchildren: George Pownall, Alexa (James) Richards, Alex (Hillary) Pownall, Jessica (Christopher) Spellman, Jonathan (Nicole) Triantis, Kelly (Adam) Gabriel, and Joshua (Lara) Pappas; seven great grandsons: Barrett, Riley, Aiden, Austin, Drayton, Chase and Avery.

Obituary Preview: Dorothy E. Milco passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Elizabeth (Nemeth) and Joseph Milco, and the sister of the late Mary Gallagher.
There were three great focuses of Dorothy's life: her Roman Catholic faith, her family and friends, and Central Catholic High School. She was a 1951 graduate of Reading Central Catholic High School and was a secretary there for more than 40 years. Dorothy was a lifetime member of Sts. Cyril and Methodius Church, and served as the parish secretary and unofficial chauffer to Mass for several years after her "retirement".
Dorothy's memory will be cherished by her nieces and nephews, Michael Gallagher, Maureen Gallagher, Jimmy Gallagher, and Susan Larkin and their families, and by her dear cousins MaryLou and Keith Hossler, MaryAnn Lutz, and Theresa and Sebastian Demanop. An extended family of Nemeth, Milco, Liszcz and Hullinger cousins will also treasure memories of getting together with Dorothy at picnics and family events over the years. Her wit and wisdom brought joy to all who knew her.
Her family would like the thank the staff at Berks Heim and at Sacred Heart Villa for providing both quality medical care and a caring and compassionate environment for Aunt Dorothy over the past few years.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Friday, December 29 at Sts. Cyril & Methodius R.C.C., 449 S. 6th St., Reading, PA 19602. Family will welcome visitors from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the church. Burial will be at Gethsemane Cemetery in Laureldale.
