Obituary Preview: With great sadness, we announce the passing of our dearly loved Leoncio De Jesus Reyes Guzman. He died at the age of 66 on the 13th of April 2024 in his cherished home in Kissimmee, Florida after complications of stroke.
Born in Santiago, Dominican Republic on February 28, 1958 to Leoncio Reyes Alvarez, father, and Aridia Guzman, mother. The youngest of eighteen siblings. He worked for over twenty years as a proud custodian before retiring.
Leoncio met Nancy Gonzalez in the 1980’s and soon became a husband to her and a Stepfather to Yamilin Alfonso. In the 90’s they welcomed two more daughters: Yesenia and Leonelyn Reyes and decided to make Florida their permanent home.
He was a playful brother, doting husband, kind father and sweetest grandfather. All around handyman with a passion for electronics, baseball, music and food. He loved growing many varieties of plants in his garden in his spare time.
Leoncio is survived by his wife Nancy Reyes, his daughters Yesenia Reyes and Leonelyn Reyes, his stepdaughter Yamilin Alfonso, his granddaughter Kimberly Marquez and his Grandson Vincent Torres.
