Obituary Preview: Ernesto Rios, 40,  passed away late afternoon Monday, May 17th, 2021, at Rex Hospital. He was born on August 3rd, 1980, in Chapel Hill, NC but grew up in Palmetto, Florida where he attended and graduated from Palmetto High School in 1999.
He was the youngest of 8 children to Alfredo and Esperanza Rios. Not only was he the youngest, but he was a friend to many, and he was also a dad and mom to his son, Angel Ernesto Rios, 14 who he cherished and loved more than anything in this world. For those who knew him, he was kind, funny, smart, strong minded, hardworking, loving, and an amazing griller. He was someone who enjoyed making the most out of each moment given, genuinely always giving a lending hand, and making those around him laugh like no tomorrow, always leaving a lasting impression on others.
As Ernesto reunites with his first born son Joaquin, his mom Esperanza Rios and his sister Maria Felix Rios, he leaves behind his son, Angel Ernesto Rios, his dad Alfredo, his brothers: Ulises, Rene, Oscar, Alfredo Jr. and Rogelio, his sister Evangelina Rios. As well as all his nieces, nephews and close friends. He was dearly loved by all his family and friends and will be forever missed.
A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday, May 27th at RM Ferguson Funeral Service 2820 Trawick Road Raleigh, NC 27604 for a viewing from 4:00 P.M to 7:00 P.M.  The funeral mass will be celebrated by Father Alvaro Riquelme, C.Ss.R. on Friday, May 28th at   6:30 p.m. where Ernesto Rios will be laid to rest at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church St. Joseph’s Cemetery 211 Irwin Dr, Newton Grove, NC 28366.
Ernesto Rios de 40 años, falleció el 17 de Mayo, 2021, en el hospital Rex en Raleigh. El nació el 3 de Agosto de 1980 en Chapel Hill, Norte Carolina pero creció en Palmetto, Florida donde él asistió y se graduó de la secundaria Palmetto High School en el año 1999.
Él fue el más pequeño de los 8 hijos de Alfredo y Esperanza Ríos. No solo fue el menor de 8 si no también fue papá y mamá para su hijo, Angel Ernesto Rios, de 14 años a quien amaba y adoraba más que nada en esta vida. Para los que lo conocieron, él fue muy amable, chistoso, inteligente, de mente fuerte, amoroso, muy trabajador y un excelente en la parrilla. El fue una persona que aprovechaba cada momento dado, te tendía la mano sinceramente, te hacia reir como si no hubiera mañana y siempre dejando una fuerte impresión para otros.
Ernesto se reunirá con su primer hijo Joaquin, su mama Esperanza Rios y su hermana Maria Felix Rios. El es sobrevivido por su hijo, Angel Ernesto Rios, su papá Alfredo Rios, sus hermanos; Ulises, Rene, Oscar, Alfredo Jr, y Rogelio, su hermana Evangelina Rios. También por sus sobrinas y sobrinos y amigos cercanos. El era queridamente amado por toda su familia y amigos que lo van a extrañar para siempre.
Familiares y amigos se reunirán el Jueves 27 de Mayo en el edificio de RM Ferguson Funeral Service 2820 Trawick Road Raleigh, NC 27604 para una velación de 4:00pm- 8:00pm. El servicio fúnebre para celebrar su vida se llevará acabo el Viernes 28 de Mayo por el Padre Alvaro Riquelme, C.Ss.R. alas 6:30pm en Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church St. Joseph 's Cemetery localizado en el 211 Irwin Dr, Newton Grove, NC 28366 donde se le dará el eterno descanso a nuestro querido Ernesto Rios.
