Steven Lynn Ingram - October 18, 1957 - January 09, 2023

Departed: 01/09/2023 (Licking)
Obituary Preview: Steven (Steve) Lynn Ingram, age 65, son of Ada (Wallace) and Vernon Ingram, was born 18 October 1957 in Salem, MO. He passed away on 9 January 2023 at Phelps Health Hospital in Rolla, MO.
Steve married the love of his life, Carlene (Rogers) Ingram on March 16, 1991, at the home of his parents in Licking, MO.
Steve grew up and lived most of his life here in Licking, enjoying the Ozarks and spending summer weekends at the Wilderness Ridge Resort in Duke, MO with family and friends. He enjoyed just sitting on the banks at Six Crossing reading a book, watching his grandkids fish, swim, or throw rocks while waiting on friends and families to finish their float trips down the Big Piney River. He greeted everyone with a smile, while offering to take pictures and assist in any way that he could to help build cherished memories of the great Ozark outdoors.
Steve’s favorite occupation was an auto mechanic. There wasn’t much that he could not fix. His dream job was to open Ingram’s Auto Repair in Licking, MO, which he did and ran successfully for about 15 years. Steve worked at Rinne’s as a mechanic for several years before going to work at Durham’s - where he worked for 16 years before he retired.
Steve had a profound passion for working on vehicles, reading books, gold panning, metal detecting, numismatics, watching Sci-Fi movies, and most of all spoiling his grandchildren.
Steve was such a loving husband, dad, papa, son, brother and uncle. He was truly one-of-a-kind with a giving heart. He was reserved, loving, ornery, stubborn, strong and many people would say that he was grumpy (wasn’t always grumpy, but he sure looked it), and he had a heart full of gold. Steve leaves a big hole in our hearts, but he is at peace now and happy to be reunited with his father, Vernon and his infant daughter, Jennifer. This isn’t a goodbye, but until we meet again.
He is survived by his wife, Carlene of the home, mother, Ada Ingram of Licking, four sons, Christopher (Maria) of Licking, Sterling of Licking, Brandon of Success, and David (Heather) of Licking, one daughter, Amanda (Stephen) Gale of Licking, sister, Beth Ann (Leeland) Godkin of Texas; three brothers, Donald (Devon) of Licking, Randy (Mieke) of Licking, Ricky of Barstow, CA; 15 grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, and many nieces and nephews.

Donald Wayne Hadley - January 06, 1938 - May 02, 2019

Departed: 05/02/2019 (Licking)
Obituary Preview: Donald (Don) Wayne Hadley was born January 6, 1938 at Hazleton Missouri, to Ira Lawrence and Dortha Viola (Lawson) Hadley. He passed away at the age of 81 years old on May 2, 2019 in Springfield Missouri.
Don was married to Sue Leadford in Licking Missouri on March 8, 1958, with both enjoying a loving sixty-one years of marriage. That marriage produced three sons, Gregory Mark (Phyllis), Bradley Michael (Diane), and Jeffrey Daun (Vickie). These sons gave them four grandsons, Jason, CW (Jessica), Jesse, and Seth, and one granddaughter, Rhiannon (Juan Juarez). The grandchildren have given them eight great-grandchildren. Don and Sue’s extended family consists of many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, and many other people of all ages truly considered family. Don and Sue’s church family spans multiple states as they were faithful to the church in their travels for work.
Don provided for his family through the trade of carpentry, which he was involved in until the age of 79 years old. For most of his career Don was a Construction Superintendent, and he has left his mark by a multitude of projects completed in several states. For the last twenty plus years of his career Sue traveled and worked with Don, and both their extended and church families continued to grow.
In 2010 Don, with his good and faithful wife, battled a serious health issue and they came through it together, like they lived their whole lives. Most recently more serious health issues arose, and that fight is now over. Don’s good and faithful wife, our Momma, Granny, Aunt Sue, was with him helping to the end, like they lived their whole lives.

Nacomi Marie Hodson - January 25, 1975 - March 09, 2019

Departed: 03/09/2019 (Licking)
Obituary Preview: Nikk was born on January 25, 1975 and passed away peacefully in St Louis, MO on March 9, 2019. Nikk fought a hard, unexpected battle with her health but her battle is over and she is home with our Lord who had a very special place waiting for her.
Nikk, oh goodness! Where do we start? She was the biggest goofball, the smart alleck (well all of us have a bit of that in us), the funny one, the one always smiling and laughing, the bodyguard, the animal and nature lover, just one of a kind for sure. God did dang near perfect making her. Nikk had a heart of gold. As soon as you met Nikk you immediately felt like and were treated like family. She is already dearly missed by all who knew her. She was good people.
Nikk enjoyed the outdoors and going to the local creeks and rivers with family and friends and skipping rocks or collecting them while there for her nature shelf (that nobody was allowed to touch). She also enjoyed skateboarding, “sweet bike tricks”, playing drums, snowboarding, riding dirt bikes, listening to music of all kinds including gospel, talking for hours on the phone to her close friends from back home, she loved cooking late at night, making a mess was also a favorite past time, setting off fireworks, building bonfires, fire of any kind caught her attention. She was pretty much up for anything outdoors as long as her loved ones were around her. She loved to bend the rules a tad bit too much at times (like her mother) but always with good reason and intent.
Nikk is survived by her loving daughter, her very best friend in this whole world, Chezni Rocha (19), who feels the exact same about her mam. She always wanted to be around Chezni and Chezni was so amazingly loyal and stood by her mam's side until God took her to heaven. Also, Nikk is survived by Danny Domokos, Chezni’s fiance, and already considered him her son. Nikk is survived by a little guy she referred to as “My son”, Austin Lancaster (Austin Boston). This was her five-year-old little adhd best buddy who she was able to keep up with. Austin didn’t have rules at Nikk’s. Her “son” could do whatever he wanted at Nikk’s house.
Nikk is also survived by her sister, Lindsay Hodson, of Licking, MO, another best bud of hers, who she adored, some days loathed as sisters will always have the yin and the yang. They always had each other’s backs and stuck together through some rough times. There was definitely an unbreakable bond between the two. There is also the family pup, Ruka. Nikk loved hanging out with Ruka, breaking all the rules and sending her back home.
Nikk also is survived by a brother, Jeffrey Timm, of San Bernardino, CA. and her father, David Hodson, of Licking MO.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Joann Hodson also her grandparents, Robert and Mabel Looy, of CA.
