His birthdate was June 12, 1950 and was born and raised in the Bronx before moving to New Milford in 1967, where he graduated from New Milford High School. It was there he met the love of his life, Patricia Stapleton, whom he lovingly referred to as his “Peppermint Patti!” They married on February 20, 1971 and had their precious only child Dawn Patricia. After struggling for so long , he was at peace that he would be reunited with his daughter. He hoped that his wife would find comfort in that and would honor and cherish their memories by living her best life as she navigates the next chapter until the day for them all to be reunited again. His Mantra for her, “There Goes Happy Feet!”
