Obituary Preview: Judy Elmlinger, 80, of Monroeville passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at Twilight Gardens in Norwalk.  She was born February 21, 1942, in Bellevue the daughter of Henry and Leone (Shetter) Finkler.
Judy was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Monroeville; Altar Rosary Society; Study Club; and volunteered for many years at The Bellevue Hospital.  She enjoyed cooking, playing cards, tending to her flowers, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Judy married Bernard “Bernie” Elmlinger on July 14, 1962, at Immaculate Conception Church, Bellevue; He survives along with their four children: Suzanne (Rick Trushel) Elmlinger of Willard, Douglas (Tina) Elmlinger of Monroeville, Patrick Elmlinger of Toledo, and Thomas (Kelley Keaton) Elmlinger of Monroeville; Grandchildren: Madison Elmlinger, Katelyn Elmlinger, Lillian Elmlinger, Alexis Elmlinger, Zack Keaton, and Morgan Patten.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and father and mother-in-law: Herman and Madeline (Thomas) Elmlinger.

Stephanie was employed by the Whirlpool Corp in Clyde.  She enjoyed cooking, fishing, and collecting Pioneer Women. Stephanie loved being around her family and cherished her time with her grandson she affectionately called “Tater Tot”.
She is survived by her son, Ronnie (Chelsea) Cress; mother, Junie Wilson; 2 grandchildren: Ronnie James Cress II and Brently Burton; brothers: Kenneth (Kristine) Wilson, Keith (Janet) Wilson Jr., Kevin (Amanda) Wilson, and Kurt Wilson; the father of her son, Ronald Cress II; sister-in-law, Janet McClain; and nephew, Chad Roberts.
She is preceded in death by her father and husband, Michael Peavy whom she married July 2, 2010 in Mobile, Alabama.

Obituary Preview: Paul Weidinger, 75, of Reedtown passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family.  He was born September 4, 1946, in Willard, Ohio the son of Richard O. and Helen C. (Ruffing) Weidinger.
Paul worked as an agronomist and sales manager for many years at Sunrise Co-op.  He enjoyed farming, tractor pulls, hunting, and loved to play a good prank when possible.  He cherished the time he was able to spend with his family and especially his granddaughter, Gwendolyn.
He married Shirley Rose (Brandt) Weidinger on August 27, 1966, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Tiffin; She survives along with their son, Chris (Jody) Weidinger of Reedtown; granddaughter, Gwendolyn Weidinger; and brothers, Mark W. (Martha) Weidinger of Bellevue and Alvin R. (Karen) Weidinger of Reedtown.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents.

Dorothy was a graduate of Wharton High School and attended Terra Technical College. She worked for General Electric in Bellevue for 21 years and retired from Providence Hospital in 1992.  Dorothy was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, the Altar Rosary Society, the Mother of Twin’s Club and the American Legion Auxiliary.
She married Robert J. Forney on September 12, 1952, at St. Mary’s Church in Kirby.  He survives along with their two children: Sharon Haddox of Bellevue and Patricia (Robert) Jaques of Arizona; Grandchildren: Holly Bollenbacher, Dana Haddox-Wright, Derek Haddox, Neal Hammersmith, Jessica Jaques, and Chad Jaques; and 9 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Hammersmith; and two brothers: Carl Thiel and Louis “Bud” Thiel.

Obituary Preview: Ruth Foos, age 92 of Attica, passed away Friday, April 8, 2022, at The Willows of Bellevue. Ruth was born May 31, 1929, in Reed Township the daughter of the late Edward and Rose (Walliser) Schreiner.
Ruth was a member of the Reed Assumption Altar Rosary Society. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother, who enjoyed attending all her grandchildren’s sporting events. She was also an avid Cleveland Indians and Ohio State fan.
Ruth is survived by her children: Ray (Shannon) Foos of Marion, Ron (Dana) Foos of Attica, Randy (Jennifer) Foos of Bellevue, and Rhonda (Mike) Fox of Bellevue; and grandchildren: Emily, William, Stephanie, Chase, Mason, Blake, Karli, Hayden, Molly, and Ella Foos, and Michaela and Nathan Fox.
In addition to her parents, Ruth is preceded in death by her husband, William Foos, whom she married May 22, 1965, and passed away in 2001; and sisters: Martha Ruffing and Betty Roth.

George Thomas Moore - October 01, 1941 - April 07, 2022

Obituary Preview: With much sadness the family of George Thomas Moore of Circleville announces his passing on April 7, 2022 at Kobacker House in Columbus, Ohio.  Tom was born October 1, 1941, in Bellevue, Ohio, the son of the late George E. and Mary Helen (McMahon) Moore.  He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Mazzaferro) Moore, whom he married at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Tiffin, Ohio on June 17, 1967.  Tom is also survived by three children:  Michael Moore, Marysville, Ohio; Ryan (Jill) Moore, Bristow, Virginia, and Maresa (Casey) Campbell, Upper Arlington, Ohio.  He is also survived by three grandchildren who added so much joy to his life:  Liam Campbell, Grayson Campbell and Macy Moore.  He is survived by a sister, RoseAnne Wernert, of Sylvania, Ohio, and a sister-in-law Phyllis Allebach of Tiffin, Ohio, plus cousins, nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant son.  Tom moved to Circleville in 1987 to open a new business.  With his wife, he was the owner of Circle Printing until he sold the business in 2009.  Prior to that, he was employed as a branch manager and vice president in the operations department of the former Union Bank in Bellevue, Ohio.  He was a 1959 graduate of Bellevue High School and attended John Carroll University and Tiffin University.  He served six years in the Ohio Air National Guard 179th Combat Support Squadron as a Staff Sergeant.  Previously, Tom had active membership in Bellevue Lions Club and served as an officer in the Huron County Bankers Association.  Currently he enjoyed membership in the Bellevue and Circleville Eagles, Bellevue Knights of Columbus, Bellevue American Legion and VFW, Circleville Elk, and was a life member of Circleville AMVETS.  In his early twenties, Tom served as a Boy Scout troop leader.  He was a tireless volunteer in his Bellevue Church parish, Immaculate Conception, serving as an usher, collection counter, and assisting with church dinners.  For several years, Tom was the volunteer treasurer and rides chairman of the former Bellevue Cherry Festival.  Visitation in Circleville will be at Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville, Ohio on Monday, April 11, 2022 from 4-7 p.m.  Mass of Christian burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Circleville on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church.  Graveside service and burial will be in Bellevue Catholic Cemetery on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at 1:00 p.m.  Foos and Foos Funeral Service will assist the family in Bellevue.  Memorials may be directed to Immaculate Conception Church, 231 East Center Street, Bellevue, Ohio 44811 or to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 134 West Mound Street, Circleville, Ohio 43113 or to Luther Home of Mercy, P.O. Robert Bellard - December 17, 1939 - April 02, 2022

Obituary Preview: Robert Bellard, age 82 of Bellevue, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2022, at The Willows of Bellevue. Robert was born December 17, 1939, in Bellevue the son of the late Allen and Mildred (Jake) Bellard.
Bob was a Bellevue High School Graduate in the class of 1958. He then attended Tiffin University and earned his degree in accounting. He worked at many places over the years, was also a realtor. He was an active member of Seybert United Methodist Church for more than 50 years. He was devoted to his family, attending all his grandchildren’s’ sporting events and activities whenever possible. He enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, and always had one in progress on his table. His sense of humor was well-known, and he always had a joke ready.
His other passion was choral singing. He sang in church choirs from a young age and was a member of the Sandusky Choral Society. When his home church choir was no longer active, he began singing with the Norwalk First UMC choir. He sang with both groups up until the last six weeks of his life.
Bob is survived by his children: Deb (Brad) Agee of Bellevue, Robin Bellard Crumpler of Westerville, OH, and Bob (Rhonda) Bellard of Johnstown, OH; 5 grandchildren: Sarah (Cam) Wilk, Matt Agee, Seth Agee, Zach Crumpler, and Emily Crumpler; and one great-grandchild.
In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his sister, Sue Lenke.

Linda Luella Gardner - March 07, 1949 - April 02, 2022

Obituary Preview: Linda Luella Gardner, age 73, of North Olmstead, Ohio passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at the O-Neill’s Nursing Home in Fairview Park, Ohio, following a very lengthy battle with cancer. She was born March 7, 1949, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Wilmer (Bill) and L. Marion (Flicker) Gardner, who preceded her in death. Her brother Stuart (Geralyn), nephew Michael (Ashley), nieces Michele and Monica, great nieces Layla and Ella, and Cousins survive her.
Linda’s life was music. From the age of six, she started playing piano. She graduated from Lakewood High School in 1967, where she was active in playing piano and French horn in the orchestra and marching band.
She won a scholarship in French horn from Baldwin Wallace College, where she doubled majored in French horn and Pipe Organ. She graduated from Baldwin Wallace College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education in 1971. Linda taught music for 30 years in the Cleveland Public Schools, retiring in 2001. During summers, and in 1976, Linda took a year leave of absence, attending the University of Michigan, earning a Master’s Degree in Pipe Organ.
Linda returned to Cleveland in the fall of 1977 to resume teaching music and resumed a career playing the organ Sundays at Westlake Methodist Church, continuing with Berea Methodist Church, and most recently the Episcopal Church of the Ascension in Lakewood, Ohio, until her illness.  She started a Brass music group, and she also gave a noonday organ concert on Tuesdays.  While playing the pipe organ for over 52 years. She was active in playing the French horn for 25 years in Lorain County Community College Orchestra, and in the summer, she played with the Strongsville Community Band. She formed a Brass Quartet, which played for free at churches, and at the Strongsville Fall Fair.  She played for many weddings and funerals. Linda was a member of the Cleveland Chapter American Guild of Organist’s, and for several years she wrote in the newsletter for AGO.  Linda was a lifelong resident of the Cleveland area. She was a fervent Cleveland Indians fan, starting when the Indians would distribute free tickets to the season opener to straight A students in the Cleveland area schools.  In her spare time, she enjoyed reading a good book, and crocheting many afghan blankets for friends and family.  May heaven have a pipe organ and French horn so she may continue to play.
Linda Gardner – a devoted and caring daughter, a loving sister, aunt, great-aunt, and a gifted and accomplished musician and teacher.
Friends will be received Friday, April 8, 2022, from 4-6pm at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue, OH. Additional calling hours will be from 10am until a funeral service begins at 11am on Saturday at Church of the Ascension, 13216 Detroit Ave, Lakewood, OH 44107. Graveside services will be held at 1:45pm at York Chapel Cemetery, Bellevue.

Edward G. Beiler - January 18, 1934 - March 31, 2022

Obituary Preview: Edward G. Beiler, 88, went home to be with his Lord on March 31, 2022 in his home in Bellevue, Ohio.  Ed was born January 18, 1934 in Bellevue the son of Paul H. and Laura (Sherman) Beiler.
He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army.  Edward married Barbara L. Brooks from Norwalk on February 3, 1957 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.  They had just celebrated 65 years of marriage.  Edward and Barbara and shortly after, their children trusted the Lord for salvation.  He was a dairy farmer his whole life and especially loved his Guernsey cows.
Eddie was a faithful member of Trinity Baptist Church where he served in many capacities.  He also served for many years as a 4-H Advisor.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Beiler; children, Wenda (Beiler) Williams (Donald) of Warsaw, IN, Dawn R. (Greg) Russell of Bellevue, OH and Paul E. (Tina) Beiler of Fredericksburg, PA; grandchildren: Joshua Arp, Autumn Miller, Caleb Arp, Matthew Arp, Harmony Miller, Stephen Arp, Stephanie Wesco, Faith Arscott, Grace Head, Stephen Williams, Hope Williams, Joy Williams, Mercy Miller, Mary Williams, John Williams, Daniel Williams, Amanda Yingling, Garrett Russell, Nathan Beiler, Samuel Beiler, Jonathan Beiler, Rachael Beiler; 27 beloved great grandchildren; sister, Betty Stull; and son-in-law, David Arp.
Eddie is preceded in death by his mother and father, Laura (Sherman) Beiler and Paul H. Beiler, his daughter, Debra L. (Beiler) Arp; grandson-in-law, Charles Wesco; and brother-in-law, James Stull.

Marilyn Ann Oddo - January 12, 1932 - March 30, 2022

Obituary Preview: Marilyn Ann Oddo, 90, formerly of Bellevue passed away with her family by her side on March, 30, 2022 following a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s.
Born in Fremont, Ohio, Marilyn was the oldest daughter of Robert L. and Irma J. (Hauck) Rosenberger. She was married for 16 years and had 7 children with Charles Oddo.
As a single mother, she displayed independence and hard work. She supported her family by working at Isaly’s, Columbus Showcase, and lastly retired from Eveready Battery. Somehow she found time and energy to serve others as well by volunteering as a certified Bellevue Police Auxiliary member and belonged to the former Club Amer-Ital. The color pink and the simplest pleasures in life brought her great joy. She filled her time with camping, sewing, playing canasta with family and loved frequenting the library to pick up the latest novels.
Marilyn leaves behind her children Rosemarie (Dale) Moll-Weisnauer; Chuck Oddo; Joe (Patty) Oddo; Sherry (Sam) Baum; Tom (RaNae) Oddo; and Peggy (Kevin) Moses. Marilyn was further blessed by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Marilyn is preceded in death by her infant daughter, Karen; her siblings Donald Rosenberger, Jeannie Martin, and Clarence Rosenberger; her cherished dogs, Blondie and Lucky; and former husband.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 3, 2022 from 4 PM to 7 PM at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. A funeral mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, 231 E. She married James Miller on May 4, 1963 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church; He survives along with their 4 children: David (fiancée, Cheryl Johnston) Miller of Clyde, Gary (Michelle) Miller of Bellevue, Randy Miller of Columbus, and Sandy (Mike) Dendinger of Bellevue; and 4 grandchildren: Amanda Miller, Connor Miller, Allison Dendinger, and Morgan Dendinger.

Obituary Preview: Santo “Sandy” Nasonti, 89, of Bellevue passed away Saturday, March 26, 2022 at The Ohio Veterans Home in Sandusky.  He was born May 11, 1932 in Cleveland the son of Biagio and Theresa (Baptista) Nasonti.
Sandy married Vivian (Soldano) on April 14, 1956, in Bellevue; she preceded him in death on March 16th, 1992.
Sandy was a multi-sport standout athlete and 1950 graduate of Bellevue High School.  After graduation he enlisted in the United States Navy and served from 1951 until 1955.  He was employed at Armstrong Air in Bellevue for 35 years. Sandy was a 25-year softball umpire, and coached C.Y.O. basketball and football for a number of years.  He was a member of the former Club Amer-Ital and served as president.  Sandy enjoyed every sport and was especially a fan of the Cleveland, Ohio State and Bellevue sports teams.  He also enjoyed taking bus trips to the casino over the years along with playing poker.
Sandy is survived by his two sons, Edward (Cathy) Nasonti of Bellevue and William (Annette) Nasonti of Castalia; 4 granddaughters: Kelli (Charles) Merlo of Columbus, Sandy (Chris) Mulholland of Columbus, Alexa (Cody Garcia) Nasonti of Bellevue and Gabby (Ryan) Houghtlen of Norwalk; 4 great grandchildren; and companion of 27 years, Amy Patten of Bellevue. Sandy had 27 nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, Sandy is preceded in death by 5 sisters: Josephine Costantino, Frances Famulare, Jan Frank, Angie Bruno, and Caroline Miano; and a brother, Tony Nasonti.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and talking “dogs” with his brother and hunting buddies. He was always ready with a funny story and a much-needed laugh.
Tim is survived by his wife of 28 years, Marcia Walters, two daughters, Julia (Tommy) McGory and Brooke (Cody) Gates, mother, Nancy Walters, brother, Luke (Carolynne) Walters, grandchildren, Thomas and Emily McGory, nephews, AJ and Jesse Walters.
He was preceded in death by his father, Rev. Lonnie R. Walters, and grandparents, Lonnie and Alta Walters, and George and Kansas Marshall.

Steven is survived by his wife, Becky Burroughs (Walters), whom he married on March 30, 1999 in Queensland, Australia; son, Wesley Burroughs of Clyde; daughter, Sadie (Paul) Rogers of Clyde; step-sons: Ryan (Ashley Quinn) Irons of Westerville, OH, Lukas Irons of Springfield, OH, and Aaron (Brandy) Irons of Marengo, OH; grandchildren: Cade, Jarrett, Jenna, Zander, Jackson, Ian, Mia, Scarlett, Sienna, Louis, Clayton, Dean, and Blake; and brothers: Randall (Robin) Burroughs of Findlay, and Michael (Lou Ann) Burroughs of Clyde.

Mary was a working artist and had paintings commissioned up to her final days. She enjoyed spending time with her large family, keeping up with their daily lives, and receiving updates on all of their activities. She spread joy to everyone she met and loved to share whatever she had with both friends and strangers alike. Mary loved reading, discussing historic events, and traveling with Don to her grandkid’s and great-grandkid’s sporting events. Lady Mary Frasure-Folk was most passionate about her involvement  with the Scottish Clan Frasure Society. She served as Convenor (organizer) of the clan for the State of Ohio for many years and attended annual Highland Games to represent the clan. Mary was a devout Christian and loved to study and spread the word. Grandma Penny had an unmatchable character, an incredibly unique personality, a wild imagination, was a great storyteller, and left everyone met with a smile on their faces. She will be greatly missed by many.
She is survived by three sons, Gary of Dublin, Virginia, Terry (Caryn) Folk of Bowling Green, OH, David (Marsha) Folk of Madison, Alabama, and one daughter, Cindy (Steve) Bickhart of Bellevue, OH. She had 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, with another on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Don whom she married on October 27, 1951 at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church in Clyde, Ohio, grandson Eric, and great-granddaughter, Kiddeau.
The family will be holding a private ceremony at a later date.
