Obituary Preview: Michael J. Booth Sr., 57, a resident of Condon Rd., passed away Thursday, September 19, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family.
Born March 3, 1962 in Cambridge NY he was the son of the late Charles “Pete” Booth and Joan Lesson Booth.
Mike was a 1981 graduate of Schuylerville Central School and a veteran of the US Air Force where he served from 1981-1985 stationed at Ramstein AB in Germany and Goodfellow AB in Texas where he worked as a law enforcement specialist. He was employed by Agway and Amerigas for several years before starting his own oil business, Booth Oil in Stillwater.
He was a member of the Greenwich Elks BPOE #2223 and had been Exalted Ruler two times, American Legion Post #515 in Greenwich and the Eagles Club in Saratoga Springs. He had been a member and former President of the Schuylerville Central School Board of Education, member of Quaker Springs Fire Department and the Board of Fire Commissioners, and was an avid Jets and Mets fan.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by 1 brother, Steven Booth and 1 brother-in-law, Gregory Dooley.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Kelly Booth of Stillwater; 3 sons, Capt. Michael J. Booth Jr. Pilot USAF of Ramstein AB, Germany, CPT Stephen C.E. Booth MP US Army of Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, and Nathan Booth of Saratoga Springs; 4 brothers, Peter (Karen) Booth of CT, Mark (Patti) Booth of Victory Mills, Paul (Dianne) Booth of Gansevoort, Matthew (Rose) Booth of Cambridge; 4 sisters, Dianne Gutasy and Candice (John) Henley both of Greenwich, Tami (Kelly) Eustis of Argyle, and Mari (Brian) Scott of Seaford, VA; 7 brothers-in-law, Charles Dooley (Karilee) of Dalton, MA, Daniel Dooley of Canastota, Kenny Dooley of Saratoga Springs, Patrick (Laura) Dooley, Jeff Dooley, Sean (Stacey) Dooley, all of Stillwater, and Christopher Dooley of NYC, NY; 35 nieces and nephews, and his dog Rocky and grand dog Ellie.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11am Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Church in Greenwich. Burial will follow with military honors in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville at 1pm.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 4-8pm at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 13 Gates Ave., Schuylerville.
A celebration of Mike’s life will follow the burial at the Greenwich Elks Lodge, 130 Bulson Rd., Greenwich following the burial.

Obituary Preview: Toni Jean Mclean Snell, 74, a resident of Bulson Rd in Easton, passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at home after a long illness, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Troy, NY on May 25, 1943 to the late Eugene and Mary Delprete Mclean.
She met the love of her life Ashley Herbert Snell in the fall of 1962 and they were married on February 24, 1963 and together they had three children. She loved her family and grandchildren deeply. She enjoyed garage sales, playing the poker machine slot at the casino, was an excellent card player, and was an excellent bowler winning many championships with the ladies. Toni was a true country girl. She enjoyed raising chickens. however, when it came to butchering them that was a different story. Anybody who has ever met her says that she was a very generous woman, kind-hearted and loved by all. She was employed at the Hannaford Deli in Greenwich and was loved by all there; the family would like to thank the workers at Hannaford for their generosity they have helped Toni tremendously. Dr. Seyferth and the staff at Southern Vermont Medical Center providing excellent care for Toni. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her cousin Peggy Delprete

Obituary Preview: Ronald C. MacNeil, 77, beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away unexpectedly December 28, 2017 at Saratoga Hospital.
He was born August 8, 1940 in Utica, NY, to the late David MacNeil and Mary Parrish.
He grew up in Salem, NY and was a graduate of Salem Washington Academy where he was a varsity athlete, participating in football, track & field and basketball. He continued his love of sports, playing lacrosse as a student at Siena College. He graduated from Siena in 1962 with a BS in Economics. In 1963 he was drafted into the US Army and served his country in the Military Police in bases in Germany. He was honorably discharged in 1965 and moved back to Salem where he met his future wife Catherine Donohue. On August 13, 1966, they married and moved to New York City where he worked as an insurance adjuster for Crawford & Company. After the birth of their first daughter, Midge, they moved back to the area and settled in Greenwich, where they lived happily for the past 50 years.
Ron began a long career with Telescope Folding Furniture, which led to a successful career in sales.
He was a lover of the outdoors, enjoyed sports, hunting, and was an avid gardener. In recent years he added beekeeping to his list of hobbies.
He is survived by his wife Catherine, their children Margaret, Heather, Erin, Jonathan and Benjamin, son-in-laws Andrew, Todd and Paul and daughter in-law-Nicole; eight grandchildren, Nicholas, Alexander, Anna, Grace, Michael, William, Mallory and Noelle; brothers Michael (Carol) MacNeil, Dale, and Allen (Susan) MacNeil; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call from 3-5pm Monday, January 1, 2018 at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 80 Main St, Greenwich, NY, 12834. Born January 12, 1942 in Cambridge, NY he was the son of the late Raymond and Helen Quinn.
Pat enjoyed driving, traveling throughout the United States and his three grandchildren. He was a devoted uncle to his nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sisters, Shirley Weir and Linda M. Ely; as well as his brother, Raymond Quinn.
Survivors include his loving wife, Linda Quinn of Fort Edward; step-children, Ronda Sherwood of Fort Edward, Tonya Sherwood of Hudson Falls, and Scott Sherwood of Fort Edward; 3 grandchildren Lita and Raymond Sherwood of Fort Edward and Paige Neilson of Fort Edward; siblings, Catharine Moore and Mary Batty of Greenwich, Libby Durham, and Gloria Myers; and nephews Mike Ely and Rusty (Kim) Batty.

Born July 27, 1960 in Troy, NY, he was the son of the late Harry and Jean Fernette Gillis.
Mr. Gillis attended Heatly High School in Green Island, NY and then enlisted with the Army National Guard. He had been employed at Victory Specialty, Quad Graphics, NYS National Guard Counter Drug Task Force, and as a Correction Officer with Washington County Sheriffs Office.
He was a member of General Schuyler Emergency Squad EMS, a lifetime member of Middle Falls Fire Department, member and Past Post Commander with the Greenwich VFW. He was an avid hunter and camper and enjoyed being at his camp in Oswegatchie, NY. He loved the outdoors, the Dallas Cowboys and NY Yankees.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his stepmother, Margaret Terry Gillis and brother, George Terry and his wife, Laura.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Carol Boivin Gillis of Greenwich; 2 sons, Dave (Susan) Gillis of Argyle and Andrew (Angel) Gillis of Greenwich; 2 brothers, Keith (Michelle) Gillis of Greenfield Center and Joe (Lois) Terry of Wynantskill; 1 sister, Margaret (Ron) Neissen of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Ethan, Aislinn, Ashton, Piper, Kaylin, Lilliana, and Madilyn; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11am Monday, December 14, 2015 at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville with Rev. Martin Fisher, officiating.
Friends may call on Sunday from 2-5pm at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 13 Gates Ave., Schuylerville, NY. A reception will follow at the American Legion on Clancy St.

Shirley was a past member of the Centenary United Methodist Church and the Middle Falls Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She was a former employee of the Korell Corp and Cowan Nursing Home, both in Greenwich. Shirley took great pride in raising her 7 children and was a devoted loving wife.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Don C. Mattison; her son, Donald William Mattison; brothers, John W. Greaves, and Rev. William F. Hollis Jr., and sister, Eleanor Jendek.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Edwin L. Albrecht of Saratoga Springs, and her second husband Clifford Gray of Shushan.
She graduated from Salem Washington Academy, Salem, NY in 1948 and attended Samaritan Hospital School of Nursing in Troy and graduated in 1951 as a Registered Nurse. Jacqueline was employed by the Albany VA Hospital and later at Mary McClellan Hospital, in Cambridge, for many years. She spent her retirement for many years in Shushan, and Greenwich.
Jacqueline enjoyed gardening, painting, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren and family.
She is survived by her son, Donald Albrecht of Greenwich; and his wife Linda, and grandchildren Rachel, Claire and Christopher; and her son David Albrecht of Salem; and his wife, Loretta, and grandson Nicholas. She is also survived by a brother and three sisters, Kenneth Sheffield (Rosemary), of East Greenwich; Gail Phillips (Ed), of Salem; Barbara Barber (Jack), of Salem; and Carol Rich, of Cambridge; and several nieces and nephews.

In May of 1978 Max married Kathleen Clark in Ozone Park, NYC. They shared a wonderful 36 years together.
Max was a former United States Army Sergeant during the Vietnam Era. Max worked for New York City's sanitation department from the late 1960's to the early 1980's, during this time he was a Guardsmen and Reservist in the U.S. Army.
Max took great comfort in providing for his family. He enjoyed being a community leader in Greenwich. Max was an avid Mets fan and enjoyed watching pro wrestling.
Left to cherish Max's memory are his wife, son Matthew T. Jamison of Greenwich; daughter Sarah and her partner Lexi of Medford MA; as well as many beloved friends.
A funeral service will be celebrated at 11am Monday July 28, 2014 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 147 Main St, Greenwich, NY, 12834, Rev. William "Chip" Strickland Jr. officiating, following the service interment will be in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville.

Helen was a 1946 graduate of Schuylerville Central School and for 23 years worked for the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance in Audits and Exceptions. Her interests included travel, the casino’s, visiting with close friends and the company of her caregivers. Helen was predeceased by her father, Harold Leon Brownell, her mother Maude Vernon (Jerome) Brownell, her older brother, Lt. Colonel Henry Joseph Brownell, her younger brother, Joseph Harvey Brownell, and her beloved husband of 48 years, United States Army Air Corps Corporal Frank Mead Coffin (1920-1996). Survivors include her younger brother, Kenneth Harvey Brownell, S.F.O., a Franciscan Brother living in Wayne, NJ; her younger sister, Ruth Lee Fuller of Troy, NY; and her son and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Coffin of Saratoga Springs. Helen would like to express her love and gratitude to her caregivers, Tina Bapp, Sonja Marruso Anderson, and Teesha Bapp. A graveside service will be conducted at 10am Monday, May 3, 2010 in the Greenwich Cemetery, Greenwich, NY with Jean Malone of Washington County Hospice officiating.
