Isaac Bennett, age 57, of Vandalia, Missouri (formerly of Manning, South Carolina), passed away on April 19, 2024, in Vandalia, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on May 8, 2024, at the Waters Funeral Home of Vandalia, Missouri. A visitation celebrating Isaac’s life will be held at 10:00 am until the time of service.
A burial with full Military honors will be held at the Jacksonville Veterans Cemetery, Jacksonville, Missouri the following day, May 9, 2024, at 11:00 am.
Isaac was born on July 30, 1966, the son of the late Stephney and Virginia (Tindal) Bennett. His parents, as well as a brother, Joseph Bennett and a sister Theola Bennett, preceded him in death.
The seventh of eight children, Isaac grew up in a loving home where he thrived and knew the love of God. He attended and graduated from Manning High School where he played football. After graduating, Isaac enlisted in the Army, where he retired after serving 20 years. After he retired from the Army, Isaac worked for the State of Missouri Department of Corrections until retirement.
Isaac is survived by one brother; Stephney A. Bennett of Manning, SC, Sisters; Loretta Benbow (Leonard) of Manning, SC, Isabella Bennett of Columbia, SC, Ida McDonald of Scottsdale, AZ, and Catherine Reynolds (Terry) of Indianapolis, IN, Nieces and Nephews; Brett Benbow, Ashanti Keitt, Henry Bennett Jr, Brandyn Benbow, and Terry (TJ) Reynolds; One grandnephew, four grandnieces, and many other relatives and friends.
