Obituary Preview: David "Twitch" Lynn Pisczek, 67, of Durham, went to be with the Lord peacefully on Friday, August 4, 2023, at his home. David fought a long and hard battle against cancer for over 4 years and lived fully during that time.

He was born in Johnstown, PA on December 10, 1955, to Stella Korcel Pisczek, who still survives him, and the late John Stanley Pisczek.

David was tough and a fighter. He waged his own mental battle with cancer and won by moving forward with life and living every day fully; nothing held him back. David was a master craftsman and there was no problem or challenge he could not find a solution to. We called him MacGyver because he could always find a fix.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Margaret "Meg" Dick Pisczek; his children, David John Pisczek and his wife, Heather; Jennifer Lynn Found and her husband, Scott; Katie Elizabeth Pisczek and Ashleigh Nicole Pisczek; his brothers, John S. Pisczek, Jr and his wife, Heidi; Dennis A. Pisczek and his wife, Terri; and Gary J. Pisczek and his wife, Yvette; his grandchildren, Kara, Morgan, Caleb, Chase and Marley; a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws, and out-laws, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 19, 2023, at 11 am at Mt. Bethel Presbyterian Church, 3541 Rose of Sharon Rd., Durham NC 27712.

The family will receive friends for a Celebration of David's Life immediately following the memorial service at Umstead Pines at Willowhaven, 253 Country Club Drive, Durham.

If you ever had the privilege to be graced by Allison; you would know that she was more than someone that cared, she loved. Allison was a mother, wife, sister, aunt, daughter, cousin, and most of all a friend. Allison truly believed that LOVE is the greatest superpower. She graced us with her love by caring endlessly for her family, always asking about others, listening, baking for friends, trying to save every animal on the side of the road, giving to charities, volunteering with children's ministries for over 10 years, and taking one of her most beloved friends out at least once a month for fun events, shopping, and always a meal for the past 30 years. She will be greatly missed, but anyone that was blessed by her LOVE will never forget. On July 20, 2023 heaven got a little bit better. Allison is now having her dance parties, biting her bottom lip with both fists in the air. One day we will get to be with her again, and that will be a day of celebration. Obituary Preview: Pollock, Robert G "Bob" age 71 formerly of Cedar Springs passed away in Raleigh, NC on May 16 2023. He was the son of Jack and Ann Pollock. He grew up in Cedar Springs attending elementary and junior high school there. He worked part time in "Pollock's Store" for his dad and later for his cousin Mike Allchin. He enjoyed his summers at Big Whitefish Lake. Bob loved sports playing JV football, basketball and tennis and varsity football and tennis for Monsignor Hackett Prep School after moving to Kalamazoo in 1966. He was an avid fan of Notre Dame football…("Subway Alumni") He graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science in 1973. Relocating to Manassas, Virginia he was employed by the Virginia Employment Commission until he moved back to Battle Creek, Michigan in 1982. He worked for Goodwill Industries training down's syndrome adults in work skills. Moving to Parchment, Michigan Bob started his career in property management. Having retired in 2016, he moved to Raleigh North Carolina to be nearer family. Robert is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, John MacGregor Pollock ("Mac"), and Thomas Pollock and one sister Sheila Pollock and one nephew John Pollock. Left to cherish his memory are his brother William Pollock and his wife Gisela of Durham, NC, Sister-in-law Patricia Pollock and her husband Mark Rodak of Leland, MI; two nieces, Ann Pollock and Elise Pollock and three nephews Paul Pollock, James Pollock and Andrew Pollock. Bob was a lifelong bachelor who struggled with and survived bipolar disorder for forty-five years. His brother William called him his hero for having done so. A funeral service is being planned. It will take place in Cedar Springs, Michigan at a later date.

John was a graduate of Hiram College in Hiram Ohio where he pursued and eventually won over his wife of 63 years, Judith Uhrick. He was a loving husband and father, and while he did his best with his children, was often heard to say, "I'm shocked. Not surprised, but shocked." or "You have no couth!" or "Now get off my damn phone and let me rest!" A naturally curious man, he knew or could solve anything, and was often referred to as "WikiDaddy." In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children, Connie Harbby, (Barry) Amy Rivera, Colin Uhrick, (Rebekah) and Anthea Uhrick. He had four grandchildren, Jessica Uhrick-Reiger, John Rivera, Judith Rivera, and Rachel Miller. Three great grandchildren, Colin Garcia (Anna) Lillian Garcia, and Chloe Reiger. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Selma Civic Center, 300 N. Webb Street Selma NC, at 3 pm on Sunday May 21 at 3 pm. Colorful attire requested. Good Luck with the Light Bill, Dad!

He devoted a great portion of his life to helping others and took great pride in the way he lived. Dean proudly served his country in the Air Force and retired from the lumber industry in 2008. He was an amazing friend and was always happy to lend a hand and help out in any way he could. Dean enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and spending time outdoors. His most cherished times were spent with those he loved and he truly enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again. Frank grew up in Woodbridge, Virginia and graduated from Woodbridge High School where he then went to own 2 businesses, K&E Enterprises and Rainmaker Lawn Sprinklers. He later moved to Louisburg, North Carolina where he worked at the Do It Center as a small engine mechanic. Frank is survived by his wife, Andrea Stevens; his sons Rusty Stevens (Cassie) and their daughter Summer, and Ryan Stevens (Monica); his brother, Wayne Stevens (Michelle); and his sisters-in-law Jamie Garlick (Mike), Lisa Bryant (Josh); and several nieces and nephews. In his free time, Frank enjoyed fishing on his property and working on his vehicles and equipment. He especially loved building and driving his ‘31 Plymouth Coupe. Frank enjoyed spending time with his family and loved them very much. He was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He will be dearly missed.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Ross Gray; and one niece, Michelle Campbell.

He is survived by his wife Georgia Gray of the home; one son, Jeremy Gray and wife Martha of Buffalo Junction, VA; one daughter, Jessica Gray of Franklinton; five grandchildren, Maci Gray, Natalia Gray, Lindsey Gray, Maddison Freeman, and Brody Freeman; one sister, Gale Carter, and husband Jack, and three nephews, Colby Carter, Creighton Carter, and Quincy Carter, as well as a sister-in-law Debbie.

Michael will be remembered for his love of fishing. He enjoyed playing pool and watching golf. He was a retired car salesman and lived a simple life. One of his unique talents was that he could play piano and was never taught to play. He was able to play beautiful songs simply by listening and playing by ear. He will be missed by his friends and family.

Per Michael's request, no funeral services will be held.

Mario was always full of life. He enjoyed listening to Tango and giving everyone, he knew a nickname. He loved classic cars and enjoyed being out in nature, and he loved to watch James Dean. Being 88 years old, he had seen a lot of changes and innovations in technology and that amazed him. Mario loved his family, especially his children and grandchildren. He was a man of faith and will be missed tremendously by his friends and family.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, esposa, Ana Judith Moreno; his children, hijos, Marta, Ivonne, Marion, and Andrs; grandchildren, nietos: Marcela, Juan Estaban, Oliver, Ashley, Michelle, Chelsea, Xristina, Yeison, Estefania, Steven, and Brandon; great-grandchildren, bisnietos, Sarita, Maria Clara, Kaitlyn, Mia, Scarlett, Sophia, Eleanor,and Danielito, his sister, hermana, Magnolia and sobrinos.

is his faith and love of family and friends. David had a lifelong love of golf, a passion he shared with his grandfather, father, brothers, son, and friends. He spent countless hours on courses, most memorably playing in Nike Tour events and in Scotland. David was an extremely humble person and never bragged, although when he played golf in local tournaments or with friends, he was often the ringer of the group. Hockey played a close second to golf in David's life. He excelled on the ice from the youth leagues in Northern Michigan to his men's league in Raleigh - where he made lifelong friends and memories. While he was a kind and thoughtful

soul, he was also a force to reckon with on the ice. David's professional impact was in residential and commercial real estate in the Carolinas. He helped innumerable families find their homes and helped businesses create community through his tireless work ethic. He had deep connections throughout the community, was quick to lend a hand to others

and the impact he had on people's lives is immeasurable. All who had the privilege of knowing David, were blessed by his light and positivity. He had a kind heart, cared about others and was always quick with a word of encouragement. He brightened every room he entered. David was a devoted husband and doting and proud father. He demonstrated every day that family was the top priority in his life. He was a constant supporter of Abby and Nick and gave generously

of his time to support his children's passions.
