Born in Teaneck to the late Alfred and Marianna (Galgano) Latronico, Al grew up in Bergen County and settled in Vernon in 1987. Prior to his retirement, Al worked as an automotive technician for Honda of Tenafly. He loved spending time with his kids, cars, cooking, fixing things, and fishing with his older sons.
Predeceased by his parents; and son, Nicholas Latronico; Al is survived by his loving wife, Melissa (Varga) Latronico; sons Morgan, Lajos, and Hunter Latronico; daughter Gabrielle Meehan and her husband Chris; and grandchildren Liam and Violet Meehan; as well as his sisters Andriette Mathews and her husband Paul, and Tina Marie Latronico. Born in the Bronx to the late Joseph and Esther (Ramaglia) Cavacini, Thomas lived there most of his life before settling in Vernon over twenty-five years ago. When he was very young, Thomas worked as a printer for Mines Press in NYC. Thomas also owned two small business in The New Rochelle Mall that he loved, The Earring Factory and The Sweet Stoppe. Prior to his retirement, Thomas worked as a Real Estate Appraiser for local companies in NJ. Known for being a handyman, Thomas liked fixing and building things. He was very proud of his home and loved doing small projects and improvements. He was also an avid car enthusiast and was a member of the MG Club. He loved spending time with his family, especially family dinners for birthdays and holidays.
Predeceased by his parents, Thomas is survived by his loving wife, Corinne (Manocchio) Cavacini; son Jeffrey Cavacini; daughters Laura Papps and her husband Tim, and Christine DiRoma and her partner Chuck Greaney; as well as his three grandchildren Jacob, Christopher, and Joseph; sister Linda Muller and her husband Donald; nephews Mark and Scott Muller, and niece Michelle Savino.

home in Highland Lakes, with his family at his side. He was 79. Born in Jersey City to the late Frank and Viginia Kibitlewski, Ron has been a resident of Highland Lakes for almost 50 years. Following owning and operating his own gas station, Ron spent most of his life as a professional painter, launching R&K Painting. He was also a gifted custom woodworker who took great pride in his craft. He shared his skill and knowledge with his son, Ron Jr, who along with
his own contracting company, the two worked closely together. Ron was married to his high school sweetheart, Loretta, for 54 years. Together, they enjoyed going to concerts, golfing, traveling, and vacationing with family and lifelong friends. It is with some of those friends that Ron developed his passion for sailing. As the proud “Pops” to Ronald III and Andrew, spending time with his

William served with the United Sattes Army in peacetime and then worked as a Sheriff’s Officer for the Passaic County Sheriff’s Department for many years before retiring and then working security. He was a member and Past Master of the Wyckoff Masonic Lodge # 287, a member of the Prospect Park American Legion Post # 240, a member of Christ Episcopal Church, Warwick, NY and the Paterson YMCA Circus Club. William enjoyed watching baseball, especially the New York Mets and enjoyed racing motorcycles in enduros.
William is predeceased by his wife, Judy Fisher(2020) and is the devoted father of Jo Ann Fisher and her boyfriend, John Bisone of Barry Lakes, NJ and Patricia Ream and her husband, Scott of Budd Lake, NJ.

Born in Mandal, Norway to the late Sverdrup and Anna (Thorsland) Christensen, Chris grew up there before moving to the United States in 1956. He lived in Brooklyn and settled in Vernon in 1972. Chris served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. After his military service, he began his long career as a tugboat captain. Chris was a volunteer with the McAfee Fire Department for over fifty years, and he enjoyed Friday nights at the firehouse. He loved cruises, trips to Atlantic City, Fox News, and lunch with his buddies. He was also an avid Jets and Mets fan.
Predeceased by his parents; wife Eileen (Curran) Christensen; and sisters Selma Overland and Frida Haaland, Chris is survived by his daughters Elizabeth Huff and her husband David, and Kara Acosta and her husband Fred; son John Christensen; grandchildren Mia and Liam Acosta and Heather Huff; and great-granddaughter Tessa Huff.

Born in Newton to Deborah (Schmidt) and the late Daniel Struble, Timothy was a lifelong resident of Vernon. He attended Vernon Township Schools and loved music, art, animals, being read to, and his family. Tim was a real-life superhero, tirelessly fighting challenging medical issues throughout his life. He was a fighter and warrior to the very end. Timothy never spoke a word, but taught patience, compassion, and unconditional love just by his presence. He tendered the hearts of those around him. He was peace and love in the perfect package. His final heroic act was the gift of life. Timothy donated his organs so that others may live on through his selflessness.
Predeceased by his grandparents and his father, Daniel Struble, Timothy is survived by his loving mother, Deborah (Schmidt) Struble; brother, Justin Daniel Struble and his wife Alyssa Rae Struble; twin brother Tyler Jonathan Struble; and sisters Danielle Renee Struble (Dominic Incorvaia) and Nicole Victoria Struble; as well as his niece, Kinsley Rae Struble, many Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.

Georgette was a secretary for the North Arlington Board of Education in North Arlington, NJ, for many years, retiring in 1995. She took great joy in cooking, gardening and fishing, and making many afghans and quilts for her family members. Georgette and her husband enjoyed many years of traveling across the country in their motorhome and both were active members of the American Legion in Millsboro, DE.
Georgette is predeceased by her husband, Richard Dorber (2010) and her son, Richard J. Dorber (2006) and was the devoted mother of Kathleen Rovetto (husband Stephen) of Vernon Twp., NJ, and Sharon Stires of East Stroudsburg, PA. Loving grandmother of Keith Wortman, Daniel Stires, Nicholas Stires, Robert Stires, Allyson Rovetto, Stephen Rovetto, John Rovetto, Thomas Dorber, Brittany Dorber, and David Dorber and cherished by 15 great grandchildren. Born in Jersey City, NJ to the late Lester and Johanna Smith (Spade). Jim graduated from St, Cecilia High School (Englewood, NJ) and Fordham University with a BS in Business. Upon graduation he enlisted in the US Army spending 17 Months in Karlsrue Germany. He was then employed for 31 years with IBM in their real estate and construction division. Following his retirement from IBM he worked for 5 years with the Shorenstein Real Estate Management Company in New York City.
He was married to his wife, Patricia (Woods) Smith for 59 years prior to her passing in 2018. He was predeceased by daughter Donna Marie, sister Marie LeFurge, brothers Reverand Betrand L. Smith O.Carm and George Smith, sisters-in-law Cecilia (Woods) Parise, Ann Woods and Marjorie (Behr) Smith and brothers-in-law John Woods, Augie Puca and Howard LeFurge.
He is survived by children Bob and wife Janet, Tom and wife Nancy, daughter Kerry and husband Fred Mayer, Dave and wife Elise, Jim and wife Michele, sister Geraldine Laiacona, sisters in-laws Therese (Woods) Costello and Mary (Woods) Puca and brothers in-law Gerald Costello and John Parise.
15 Grandchildren, Darrell Ann and husband Kyle Matson, Meredith and husband Stephen Siefert, Emily Smith, Taylor Smith, Darby and husband Ryan Rubega, Madalyn Smith, Sara Mayer, Ryan Mayer, Hannah, Jack, Ella and Chris Smith, Megan husband Paul Brooks Jr., Heather and Adam Smith and two great-grandchildren: Bodie Miles Matson and Charli Jordan Rubega as well as many nieces and nephews.
Beyond his family Jim enjoyed volunteering at Lake Wallkill in various functions on the Management Committee as well as any project around the Lake that involved concrete. Jim was an avid sports fan of his beloved Notre Dame Fighting Irish. In 2023 Jim was inducted into the Vernon High School Athletic Hall of Fame for his work as a founder of the Viking Booster Club. Jim was also a regular on the local golf courses with a group of friends that shared his love of the game.
Jim & Pat enjoyed spending time in Hawaii for more than 20 years splitting their visits between Maui and Kauai with their treasured friends. She had been recently elected to serve on the Vernon Township Board of Education. A devoted member of Risen King Church in Butler, NJ for the past 22 years, Elaine enjoyed being a Sunday School teacher and serving in various capacities. In her free time, she could be found in her garden, cooking, sewing and creating other art projects, attending Bible studies, and praying for family and friends. Above all,
Elaine loved spending time with her family. She is survived by her devoted husband of 49 years, Joseph Colianni. Loving mother to Ramona Criscuolo (Adrian Bet), Monica Colianni-Child (Liam), Jacob Colianni (Amanda), and Jared Colianni (Brianna). been a resident of Vernon Twp for the past 28 years. Laurie is an alumni of the University of Missouri (Go Tigers!) and completed her Masters Degree in Education at Marygrove College. She was a dedicated and skilled first-grade teacher who loved educating and developing strong character in the countless young lives she positively impacted. Laurie had a past student everywhere she went but as a true educator never ended her learning process. Laurie had too many educational achievements to count but she was an esteemed Math Coach and Co-Chairwoman for the Vernon Twp Education Association Union,
PRIDE. A devoted parishioner of St. Francis de Sales R.C.Church, she was a CCD teacher, and enjoyed regularly assisting in the Children’s Liturgy as well as cooking for Antioch. In her free time, Laurie enjoyed going to the beach as often as humanly possible. When not strolling the sandy shores of Cape Cod or Point Pleasant Laurie enjoyed gardening but above all loved
spending time with her family. Laurie is survived by her loving children, son, Ryan and his wife Sarah, and her daughter, Katharine Wefer and her husband, Richard. Devoted sister of Catherine Bender (Mark), Mark Mulhall (Kathy) and Thomas Mulhall (Linda). She also leaves her beloved cats Cheerios and Pepper. They’re up for adoption! Henry served with the United States Army and then worked for 40 years as a sheet metal mechanic for Local 25 in Carlstadt, NJ retiring in 2002. Henry enjoyed traveling in the RV, hunting, shooting, motorcycle rides and camping. He took great joy in spending time with his family and friends.
Henry is predeceased by his brother, Robert Ohl (2021) and is the beloved husband for 58 years of Karen Ohl (nee Donkersloot) of Vernon Twp., NJ. Devoted father of Monica Rome of Dingman’s Ferry, PA and Ryan Ohl and his wife, Linda of Raleigh, NC. Loving grandfather of Zakkery, Samantha, Austin, Baeden and Matthew. Dear brother of Richard Ohl of Blairstown, NJ and uncle to several nieces and a nephew.

Sam was a life member of VFW Post # 8441, Vernon, NJ and was instrumental in the startup and building of the Post, he was a life member of Sussex American Legion, served as president of the Glenwood Cemetery, was a former auctioneer and took great joy in gardening and was well known for his Dahlias and Tomatoes. Sam enjoyed travelling with his wife, playing with his grandchildren and antiquing.
Sam is predeceased by his wife, Connie M. O’Dell(2021) and a his granddaughter, Alysia Bishop and is the devoted father of William Roy O’Dell of Vernon Twp., NJ, Vickie Fiedler of Vernon Twp., NJ and Barry O’Dell and his spouse, Christine Savage of Budd Lake, NJ. Loving grandfather of Crystal, Jennifer, Kyle and Shannen. Cherished great grandfather of Jocilyn and Kaden. Dear brother of Janet Pines of Middletown, NY, Florence Gardepe of Palm Harbor, FL, Edward O’Dell of Orange County, NY and Stanley O’Dell of Florida. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He grew up in Cedar Grove, NJ and graduated from Rutgers University with a degree in agriculture. For over 60 years, Andy was a dairy/grain/hay farmer. In addition to his love of farming, he was a dedicated member of several town and county boards. He proudly served the agricultural community on various county agricultural boards as well as the NJ State Board of Agriculture.
Andrew’s deep love for Christ enabled him to maintain a truly grateful heart that permeated his outlook on life. Ever the optimist, he knew his faith in God and persistent hard work would conquer the troubles of the day. He had an ever curious mind that enjoyed reading, researching, learning and applying new ideas. Given the right topic, Andy enjoyed sharing and debating those ideas. Also he will be remembered for seeing the humor in life’s challenges as well as for his quick smile and cheery hello. Andrew dearly loved and cared for his family and gave of himself to his many friends and acquaintances.
Andy is survived by, and will be deeply missed by, his cherished wife of 65 years, Sheila; his beloved children: Andrew (Maria), Christine, Michele, Stephen (Robin), Peter, Calvin (Cari); his precious grandchildren: Sarah, Jack, Sam, Jordan, Alex, Simon, Winter; his sister-in-laws: Betty, Marilyn, Dottie, Doreen, Lynette; his brother-in-law Keith and many nieces and nephews. Mary worked various jobs over the years but her most important role and biggest accomplishment was being a Mother and Grandmother. She enjoyed cooking and no one left her house hungry. She loved photography and spending time with her dogs, Montana and Worms. She was well known for her sense of humor and kind, generous heart. She believed laughter could get you through anything. Mary was always willing to help anyone, even if she did not know the person. Her favorite pastime was staring out her living room window at the beautiful mountain and predicting the weather more accurately than any weatherman. Mary leaves behind her life long husband, Joseph Presher, Sr. Her daughter, Joleen Eursken and her husband, Peter of Oak Ridge, NJ, and their two children, Gabby and Gavin. Her daughter, Justine Presher and her husband, Joshua DeVries of Warwick, NY and their three children, Tyler, Sarah and Tristen. Her daughter, Stefanie DeVries and her husband, Colin of Fort Worth, TX and their two children, Chloe and Cameron and beloved dog, Winston. She also leaves behind her only son, Joseph “Joey” Presher, Jr. and his beloved dog, Cujo. Joey became one of her best friends. Mary always knew Joey would grow up to be a wonderful young man, which he did. Mary is predeceased by her youngest daughter, Angel Presher(2012) and granddaughter, Hannah Eursken(2013), daughter of Joleen and Peter. She is predeceased also by her mother, Charity Thompson, brothers, Jess, Daniel , Bruce, Clay and Robert Thompson and dear sisters, Susan Edwards and Beth “Birdie” Thompson and her cherished dogs, Montana and Worms. She is survived by her siblings, Sally Corter, Gail Thompson and Harrison Thompson and his wife, Lorraine. One of her last wishes was for her siblings to stay close and to take care of each other. She also leaves behind her devoted friend, Robert “Bob” Wetzel who has been her partner in crime for many years. She always said the world would be a better place if everyone had a friend like Bob. Many nieces, nephews and extended family including Marleen Horlacher, Michelle Evangelista, Tina Peine and Tony Piechowski. Mary always thought of them as siblings because of their close relationship while growing up together. If you were lucky enough to know Mary, you knew you had a friend for life. She wants everyone including her husband, children and grandchildren to know how much she loved them. Joe you were a wonderful husband, great father and were always there to have her back when times were tough, you took care of her through it all. She was so thankful to have you and loved you so much. Mary wants to remind everyone to laugh because Life is Short and wanted to tell everyone going to college to “Keep reaching for the Stars!”
