Carl was a jack-of-all-trades and a master of, well, most all of them. He was dedicated to every task at hand, never saying “no” to anything asked of him. He was a dutiful servant to the lord and an established member of the Allardt Presbyterian Church where he served as an elder and custodian. He served in the Air Force and was stationed in Alaska for a time. He worked most of his career in computer programming and maintenance but also found reason to return to Alaska to work on the pipelines. He was a car enthusiast and loved attending car shows with his treasured Model T. He enjoyed meeting up with his “car club” and would talk about cars to anyone who would listen. He never met a stranger. He was a devoted father and family man who willfully adopted anyone that walked thru his door, caring for them as if they were his own family. A grandfather of two, he adored spending time with his boys playing with cars, taking naps, and watching his favorite cartoon Bluey. If ever asked how he was doing, he always responded with his trademark phrase saying that he was “Outstanding!” He truly was an outstanding man that will be missed by many.

Maudean Davis - August 20, 1938 - October 12, 2021

Departed: 10/12/2021 (Jamestown)
Obituary Preview: Maudean Davis, age 83 of Clarkrange, passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at her home in Georgia, in the arms of her loving husband.
After three years, Maudean lost her battle to breast cancer, certainly not from the lack of strength or fighting.  But she won life.  She loved living, and made every second on this earth count.  She loved people so hard that you couldn't help but feel it.  She radiated joy and the love of Jesus.  She had the best stories and scrapbooks to compliment them.  She made us laugh heartily with her sense of humor and wit.  She taught us life lessons:  how to love people, how important family is, how precious time is, our passion for animals, how to have fun, that hard work pays off, and countless others.  Life will certainly never be the same without her.  To know Maudean Davis truly is to love Maudean Davis.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Jennings Funeral Homes-Clarkrange Chapel. Burial will follow in the Fentress Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Friday, October 15, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Jennings Funeral Homes-Clarkrange Chapel.
