Michael J. Howard, 69, of Winchester, IN, passed away Friday, January 14th, 2022 peacefully while in the company of friends at his residence. He was born in Los Angeles, CA, on September 7, 1952. Michael was a graduate of William S. Hart High School in Newhall, CA, and formerly worked as a custodian for the Valencia, CA, Sheriff's Department. He enjoyed the solitude of walking through nature, animals, watching NCIS, football games, old movies, Western's, comedies and listening to Elvis music. After tragically losing both parents at a young age, He was taken in by the late Paul and Shirley Trigg. Michael is survived by his current caregivers and dear friends Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wolfe of Winchester, IN. He was preceded in death by his biological parents, a brother; Jack Howard, former caregivers; Paul and Shirley Trigg, and their daughter; Emily Trigg whom he thought of as a sister. There will be no public services at this time. Arrangements have been entrusted to MJS Mortuaries - Farmland Chapel.

(Thomas) and Lawrence Holden. She attended East Side School in Union City, and was employed by Westinghouse for over 33 years. Jo formerly attended Olive Branch Church and was a member of the Union City Eagles Auxiliary Post #2790. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crafts, reading, shopping and traveling. Jo is survived by 2 sons; Norman McCord, Terry Michael McCord, 1 daughter; Donna Swick, 1 brother; Terry Holden (wife Wanda), 1 sister; Shirley McCord (husband Stanley), several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Lola and Lawrence Holden, her husband Alfred McCord, 1 daughter; Cathy Collins, 1 brother William Holden, and 3 sisters; Jane Hartman, Carolyn Sue McClish and Barbara Vorgt. Friends are invited to call Friday, December 3, 2021 from 11-1 at MJS Mortuaries - Farmland Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 1 PM with Pastor Jeff Straley officiating. Burial will be held in Bear Creek Cemetery in Farmland, IN. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family in care of the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to MJS Mortuaries - Farmland Chapel.

Gary Richard Moore, 77, of Farmland, IN, passed away Saturday, October 2nd, 2021 peacefully while in the company of family members at I.U. Health Ball Memorial Hospital, in Muncie, IN. Gary was born in Winchester, IN, on March 25, 1944 a son of the late Margaret Emily (Sale) and John Donald Moore. He was a 1962 graduate of Farmland High School, attended Ball State University, received his CDL from Werner Enterprises and had hopes of attaining his pilot's license. Gary was the loving husband of Karen A. (Craig) Moore who he happily married on May 29, 1965. He was an extremely hard working, devoted husband, father, and grandfather. A man with a big presence, who was extremely proud of his family, his country, always made his children feel safe, and to find joy in the unexpected things. Gary's extensive work history includes quality control and a purchasing agent for Champion Homes in Ridgeville, IN, for over 25 years, management for Ponderosa SteakHouse in Muncie, IN, Michigan and Kentucky, co-owner and operator of the Farmland Cafeteria, co-owner and operator of The Chocolate Moose for 12 years, and the Walmart Deli in Winchester, IN. He was a member of the Farmland Christian Church, Farmland Town Board, EAA, Randolph County Economic Development Board, Farmland Park Board, former member of the Boys Scouts of America and The Farmland Volunteer Fire Department. Gary has not missed an Indianapolis 500 for the past 56 years, loved the Winchester Speedway, airplanes, aviation and air shows, the Winchester Fly In Breakfast, western's, old war movies, black and white shows, Indiana college and high school basketball, cooking, decorating for the holiday's, classic country and big band music like Glenn Miller and going to his children and grandchildren's sporting events and school activities. Gary is survived by his wife Karen, 2 sons; Scott A. Moore (wife JoRita), Todd E. Moore (wife Teresa), 1 daughter; Lori L. Sanders (husband Kris), 1 brother; John C. Moore (wife Cathy), 1 sister; Marcia J. Avery, 1 brother in law; Robert J. Curry Jr., 8 grandchildren; Landon, Layton, Evan, Zachary, Mackenzie, Sydney, Sophia, Saige, 1 great grandson; Bryson and 1 great granddaughter due in January; Ember. He was preceded in death by his parents; John and Margaret Moore, step mother; Clara M. (White) Moore, and 1 sister; Carolyn J. Curry. Friends are invited to call Friday, October 15, 2021 from 4-7 PM at MJS Mortuaries - Farmland Chapel. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 7 PM with Pastor Rusty Clements officiating. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family in Woodlawn Cemetery in Farmland, IN. In Lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Farmland Volunteer Fire Department Model-T Fund (PO Box 507 Farmland, IN. 47340 or  dropped off at the city building. A special thank you to all of the doctors, nurses and support staff at I.U. Health Ball Memorial Hospital for the care and compassion shown to Gary and his family throughout his stay. Arrangements have been entrusted to MJS Mortuaries - Farmland Chapel.

He formerly attended Farmland Friends Church and The Rock in Richmond, IN. Chris was a very kind hearted man with a helpful spirit, a genuine concern for others, loved and protected his family, and greatly admired and respected his parents. He enjoyed camping as a child, studying the bible, listening to contemporary Christian music like Mercy Me, watching the Indianapolis Colts, collecting baseball caps and gold jewelry, and spending time with his nieces and nephews. Chris is survived by his parents Marilyn S. Stephens (husband John), Wardie D. Teer (wife Betty), sister; Shawna (Teer) Puckett, 5 stepsisters; Brandi Myers, Mindy Hyer, Susie Rodeffer (husband Rodney), Angie Snyder (husband Matt), Jennifer Knox (husband Jordan), 3 stepbrothers; Brian Stephens, Aaron Stephens, Roger Hale, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother; Shane A. Teer. A celebration of life service will be held on May 22nd, 2021 at 6 PM at The Parker City Volunteer Fire Department, with Aaron Stephens officiating.
