Eason and Issador Brown on December 7, 1956. He was a drummer with the band Realistic Funk. He was a masterful craftsman and a jack of all trades. If he wasn’t fixing or building something, he was drawing and producing beautiful pieces of art. He met and married Francine Leak in 1978 and remained married for several years. From that union Cassandra and Cynthia were born. He was a member of Moore’s Chapel Church in Lillington, NC under Rev. Leslie Williams. He loved his family, music, and work. He was a man of faith, and he loved the Lord. He will always be remembered for his big smile, big laugh, and big voice. He is proceeded in death by his mother Evelyn Eason Byrd, Father Issador Brown, sister Linda Eason Mathieu and grandparents John Robert and Jadie Eason. He is survived by four daughters, Cassandra Eason Page (Tahir) and Cynthia Eason of Raleigh, NC, Brittany Eason Davis (Nehemiah Sr) of Spring Lake, NC and Jasmine Snead of Winston Salem, NC. Thirteen grandchildren, Three great grandchildren. Two sisters, Katherine Eason Banao and Nikita Byrd Middleton both of Dunn. One niece Catheryn Eason of Dunn. Three aunts, Alma J Newbill Of Fayetteville, NC, Linda F Manning of Norfolk VA, and Elma E Rankin of Philadelphia Pa. Eulogy will be provided by Pastor Elder Nehemiah Davis, The Remnant Church INC. Funeral services are as such: There will be a public viewing on Tuesday  April 12th from 11:30am to 1pm at Second Baptist Church, Dunn, North Carolina followed by the Funeral service 1pm at Second Baptist Church Dunn, NC. Immediately after the interment service will be at Resthaven Cemetery in Dunn, North Carolina.

Left to cherish her memories her four daughters Jacqueline Blue (Danny), Tania Jackson, Adriane Evans, Tameka Jackson, a son Antonio Brown (Angelo). Three sisters Jean Jacobs, Charlotte Fort, Benita Jackson and a brother Rodney Jackson (Erica). Nineteen grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and a host of family and friends. A special thanks to Cousin David McAllister for always being there and a very kind and close friend Lynell Martin, who has done so much for Carolyn and her family.  Lynell and Carolyn created such a wonderful bond over the past 20 years. “Carolyn you will be greatly missed.” There will be a wake and public viewing Sunday January 2, 2022, from 12pm to 2pm at Family Funeral Home Dunn, North Carolina. Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Vickie and children Timothy, Brendan, Shannon, and Michaela. He is also survived by his remaining siblings, Willie, Wilma Jean, Jimmy, Bobby, and Dennis. Tommy had a love of the simple things in life. He enjoyed fishing, simple things were his favorite past time, as he enjoyed bundling up in his cozy chair and watching his favorite television shows. A simple man, a simple life, he will be missed by all the people he was most important to in the world.
