Obituary Preview: “ I guess it comes down to a simple choice, really. Get busy living, or get busy dying. “ If you knew Sharron Donaldson you know for a fact until his dying breath he was busy living.
Sharron Donaldson Sr. was born December 8, 1949 in Natchez, Mississippi to Alexander Donaldson and Lurena Stumps. He was the youngest of four children. Sharron departed this life January 22, 2022 in the comfort of his home.
As a young man he received unconditional love from his mother, as he was being molded into the man many of us would grow and love today.  A kindhearted man that was always ready to extend a helping hand or provide his last bit of change to help a friend or family member. Even when young, Sharron had a strong personality, outspoken attitude, and a presence that would turn head’s wherever he would go. He was preceded in death by his father in 1971 and mother in 1993.

Wherever Sharron laid his hat was his home. Whether that being Natchez, Mississippi, the west and east banks of New Orleans, Louisiana, or Houston, Texas. In these cities he was known as a friend, husband and father. Sharron touched many people during his life, but the greatest impact was received by his wife and children. His children were his pride and joy. Being their father was without a doubt what God put him on Earth to do. He was not just their father, but their coach, their confidant, and their best friend.

Mildred P. Heath - August 22, 1934 - December 01, 2021

Departed: 12/01/2021 (Bay City)
Obituary Preview: On December 1, 2021, Mildred (Polly) Heath, beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother went to be with the Lord.  Polly was completely dedicated to her family.  Her family and her faith were always the two most important things in her life.  She was an extremely talented needle work expert.  Until the last couple of months of her life she continued to create beautiful afghans, embroidery works, and other projects.  In her earlier life she made beautiful prize winning dolls, cross stitch works and clothes.  A voracious reader, she left hundreds of books. At 87 she was very politically informed and had an opinion about the government and the people who ran it.  She never missed a chance to vote.  In her work life she was a bookkeeper who always had everything organized.  When she retired she and her mother, Sally Charter taught bridge at Madison Jobe Senior Center in Pasadena.  She taught her grandchildren to play bridge at an early age.  You never wanted to sit down at a table where she and youngest grandson partnered because you were going to lose. She was a loving, gentle woman who was loved by all she met.  She had an offbeat, great sense of humor and was always laughing.  No matter what hardships she faced she always held tight to her faith.  She sat on the edge of her bed every morning and started every day with reading her well-worn bible.  She ended everyday working a crossword puzzle and praying to her precious Lord. She is preceded by her Mother, Father, Brother, Niece, Son-in-Law, many loved Aunts and Uncles, and her Sister-in-Law and Brother-in-Law.  She is survived by her Daughter, Linda Holder, Grandson Christopher Holder, Grandson Jeffrey Holder, soon to be Granddaughter-in-Law, Christine Courteau, Great Granddaughter Emily Holder, Cousin Ethelda St Pe’ and family, and her nephew, Milton Cunningham of Roswell, New Mexico.  All of whom will miss her very much. A Special Note From Jeff
For 38 years Mildred "Polly" Heath was Memaw to me, for 45 years to Chris. She took Chris to see return of the Jedi the day I was born. She taught us to play chess, and backgammon. She introduced me to the old animated Hobbit and LOTR movies. She taught us about big bands and how to foxtrot and jitter bug. She taught us to sew, and crochet. You didn't wanna sit down at a bridge table when we were partners, you were gonna lose, even if you didn't know it yet. She loved us and supported us in all we did. Hours spent with her holding my demolay ritual as practiced. I still remember how insistent she was that she would buy my hat for my year in the East as Worshipful Master. When she got to a place where she needed help to keep going, it was my job. I loved her, and she'd spent so many more years helping to care for me. That was 13 years ago. Letting her go to a nursing home this summer because we just couldn't keep up anymore was devastating. Watching her the last few months was a weight I struggled most days just to get out of bed with, much less carry. Memaw left her corporeal form behind this morning. I grieve for the woman that meant so much to me, matched in equal amounts of thanks that she's not having to live in the state she was in. I'll miss you Memaw.  .
