She was the loving and dedicated mother of two sons: Kelsey and Eric Braun. She was one of the working wives 'putting her husband through school.' Linda married Gary Braun in 1962, divorcing in 1985, though they (along with Gary's wife Ann) remained close throughout their lives.
Her grandchildren were precious to her; she even taught them how to drive when they turned 16. Her love for fashion mixed with her love for sewing often lead to one of a kind pieces for her and all of her grandchildren. There was nothing she wouldn't do for them as they grew up and they all knew how fortunate they were to have such a loving grandmother.
Linda was predeceased by her parents, Evelyn and Elmer Cederquist, her ex-husband, Gary Braun, and her brother, Larry Cederquist. She is survived by her children, Kelsey and Eric Braun; her siblings: Mary Beth Bimber, Calvin (Sharon) Cederquist, David (Sandy) Cederquist, Amy Gulick; as well as grandchildren: Danielle Braun, Hannah Raynor, Sara Braun, Ethan Braun, and Sasha, Andrei, and Angelina Braun; her great grandchildren: Christian and Cayden Tibbets and Drake and Sienna Raynor.
Linda was always fun to be around. She loved to sing and listen to music. 'Alexa' became her best friend and she would often ask her to play her favorite tunes by Kenny Rogers, Johnny Cash, John Denver, and J. Geils. Christmas was her favorite time of year. She loved the holiday spirit and passed that same joy on to her grandchildren.
She had a kind and joyous heart and would do anything for anyone. She was generous and sentimental and she loved her family and friends more than anything. She will always hold a special place in our hearts.
Visitation will not be observed.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
