Born June 21, 1946 in Sun Hill, West Virginia, he was the son of the late William Squire Toler and Maggie Pearl Blankenship Toler.
Whether he was hunting, fishing or gardening, Fairley enjoyed spending time outdoors. He was a big fan of WVU Mountaineer football and basketball and rarely missed a game. What he enjoyed most of all was spending time with his grandchildren, whom he loved dearly.
Fairley was a longtime member of Sunrise Baptist Church, where he attended faithfully. He was a proud veteran of the US Marine Corps and was a familiar face at the “McDonald’s breakfast club” in Oceana.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Joyce Blankenship, Barbara Sue Cline and Bernice Morgan and his mother and father-in-law, Ethel Irene Duncan and Mason Glen Duncan.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Toler; son, William Glenn Toler and his partner Beth Harmon of Kopperston; daughters, Anita Rine and husband Jeff of Oceana, Rebecca Parkins and husband Freddie Jr of Alabama and Lynda Pruett and husband Donnie of North Carolina; sisters, Emma Mae Morgan and Brenda Elkins and husband Frankie of Oceana; grandchildren, Miranda Day, Nick Rine, Jennifer Rine, Jessica Thomas, Ashley Parkins, Andrea Thomas, Kelsey Rine, Braylee Parkins and Bristol Parkins; and great-grandchildren, Morgan, Makanna, Cameron, Madison, Brooklynn, Brantley, Ava, Ryley, Skylar, Mason and Tucker.
Graveside military rites will be conducted by the Wyoming County Veteran Honor Guard.

George is survived by his siblings, Kenny and Reta Justice of Panther, Earl and Mary Coleman of Wisconsin and Madaline Justice of South Carolina; two special aunts, Pearl Estep and Marlene Bailey of Panther;  His Brother Earl's girls whom he loved as his own, Latoshia Coleman, and her son Braylon, Lacey Coleman;  Nieces;  Angie, Maggie, and Terri Lynn, four nephews, Steven, Justin, Joe and Mathew and a special friend Debra Dotson.
Elders officiating the service will be David Lester, Danny Hurley, and Fred Bailey.
Mr. Coleman will be laid to rest at Estep Cemetery, on the Top of Greenbrier Mountain.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Tina Cox.
Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter Tori Watts of Oceana, his brother Scott Watts of Cyclone and his two nephews, Dalton and Nicky Walls.
In keeping with his wishes he will be cremated.
