He was surrounded by family and friends during his passing. He was a carpenter in New Orleans and surrounding areas for over 30 years. He enjoyed watching sports and helping others. Jasper was preceded in death by his Father Robert William Carr and Mother Eva Dillon Carr, his siblings, Hattie L. Carr, Marva Brown, Barbra Smith, Joyce M. Carr, Milton Carr, Clem Carr, Linda Carr, Son Rodney Carr and Daughter Jayda Anderson. Jasper is survived by his two siblings Evon Ward and Robert Carr. His children Shanjazz Anderson, Deanna Franklin, Jasper Carr Jr., Traci Tobias, Damon Carr, Eva McPherson and Cynthia Kelly. Roy Williams, with whom she shared a blissful 17 years of marriage. Born on August 1, 1947, Patricia was the eldest daughter of the late Walter Howard, Sr., and the late Albertine James. She was also the stepdaughter of the late Maxwell James, Sr. Patricia attended George Washington Carver Senior High School and later pursued a fulfilling career as a retired Phlebotomist, and Certified Nursing Assistant. In her later years, she was a loving caretaker of senior citizens. A faithful member of Pilgrim Progress Missionary Baptist Church, Patricia found joy in singing in the choir, attending Sunday School, and working with the Missionary Board. Her vibrant personality, impeccable sense of style, and infectious laughter left lasting impressions on all who knew her. Pat leaves behind a legacy that will be cherished by her loving husband, Rev. Roy Williams; her children Lisa Howard, Cyntrel (Chris) Janeau, and Corey Howard; and siblings Edward (Cynthia) Howard, Jenell (Alton) Jones, Michael (Delores) Howard, Anthony James, and Gary James. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren, as well as two aunts, and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews. Sedonia married the late Sterling Mitchell, Sr., the love of her life in 1962 and together they had three children, Kevin, Sterling Jr. and the late Dwayne Mitchell, Sr. Sedonia was a graduate of Second Ward High School in Edgard. LA where she enjoyed playing basketball. After graduating and getting married Sedonia and Sterling Sr. moved to New Orleans, LA where they began their family and careers. Sedonia retired from the Family Planning Department of the State of Louisiana after 30 years and worked an additional 3 ½ years in the drop program managing the post office for the State Office Building. Sedonia was a devout Catholic and was a member of both Our Lady of Lourdes Church in New Orleans, LA and Holy Guardian Angles Church in Bridge City, LA.
