Walter was born on May 27, 1958, in Carlsbad, New Mexico, to Virgil and Betty (Carter) Harper. He attended Grand Prairie High School in Grand Prairie, Texas and served in the U.S. Army after graduation. He retired after working as a truck driver for many years.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, staying in touch with old friends and attending church at South Jefferson Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Adams Harper of Pittsburg; daughter, Karla Bell and husband, Scott, of Marina, CA; son, Keith Harper of San Antonio; daughter, Elissa Quinn and husband, Lloyd of Pittsburg; sister, Virginia Cole (Danny); brother, Wayne Harper (Sharon); sister, Jeanna Harper; brother, Michael McCormick; grandchildren, Matthew, Hannah, Adam, and Jacob Bell; Connor, Landon, Tucker, and Emersyn Quinn; mother-in-law, Ottie Dollins; step- mother-in-law, Linda Adams; sister-in-law, Diana Adams; and several nephews and nieces.

Jason Ray Gilmore was born in Longview, TX September 18th, 1976 and was tragically taken from this life in a wreck at the intersection of Loop 179 and CR 2106 in Pittsburg, on October 10th, 2019.

Jason was raised by his loving parents, Ray and Jennifer Gilmore in Mt. Pleasant, Texas where he graduated from High School in 1995. Jason led an exciting life and touched the hearts of many people through friendship and business. Jason struggled by working sometimes two jobs to support his wife and three children while building his own company. Jason owned and operated Storage Solutions in Pittsburg for the past 18 years. Jason not only had his gift for salesmanship on his side but also his mother, father, and son-in-law helping him achieve his dreams of growing his company. A true family business. When Jason was not working, he enjoyed endless hours on the lake, hunting, fishing, searching for what he claimed as “lost treasures”, spending time with his family, or fixing things that were not broken.

Jason is preceded in death by his wife, Dawn Gilmore.

He is survived by his parents, Ray and Jennifer Gilmore; sister, Marla and husband, Barry Sheets; daughter, Lakin Gamble and husband, Ben, Maura Mallon, Kenzie Hogue and husband, Read; nieces, Kenadee, Brynn and Gentry. Jason also left behind eight grandkids, Cash, Tripp, Ransom, Maddox, Beau, Berkley, Olivia, and the newest four-month-old Hattie.

Jason crammed a lot of living into his 43 years that we were blessed to have shared this journey with him. His smile, kind heart, infectious laugh, and loving embrace will be missed by many.

Bill was born in Longview, Texas on March 5, 1941 to Lucille Wilkinson and William Harley Sawyer. He married the love of his life, Wanda McCaw in Pittsburg, Texas on August 12, 1961. He is a Veteran of the United States Army, where he stationed in Korea and Fort Hood.

Bill was a faithful member of the First Pentecostal Church in Pittsburg for over 58 years. He had a love and talent for music, playing many instruments. He taught his four children and all of his grandchildren to play an array of instruments. He loved going to church, playing music, fellowship with family and friends, and fishing with his sons.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Wanda Sawyer of Leesburg, two sons; Greg and Judy Sawyer, and Russell and Kelly Sawyer of Pittsburg, one daughter; Bethany and Danny Kemph of Leesburg, one sister; Pattie McClung of Pittsburg, one aunt; Judy and Richard Givens of Porterville, California, eight grandchildren, and five great grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; William Harley Sawyer and Lucille Story and his step dad Odia Story, a son; Rodney Lewis Sawyer, one brother; Kenneth Harley Sawyer, one niece; Kitty Sawyer, one nephew; Shon Gage, and his in laws; Roy and Lillian McCaw.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, October 12, 2019 at the Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Andrew Pack and Bro. He is survived by his wife, Linda Kay Bryan, his son Jimmie Eugene Bryan and his wife Elizabeth Faye Bryan of Rocky Branch, Texas., his daughter Ginger Leigh Bryan Smith and her husband James Smith of Lone Star, Texas. 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Sisters, Martha Ann Bryan of Texarkana, Arkansas and Jana Gail Bryan Capps of Mt. Vernon, Texas. Brothers, Alfred Morris Bryan of Allen, Texas., Ronnie Mack Bryan of Mt. Pleasant, Texas., Ronald Gene Bryan of Mt. Vernon Texas., and many nieces and nephews.

In her lifetime, she lived throughout the U.S. and overseas. She would be forever influenced by her time in Japan, New Mexico and Okinawa. She carried with a love of Asian aesthetics and would often use this influence in her art, sewing and needlepoint. She was an accomplished seamstress and her children and granddaughter cherish the handmade dresses, doll clothes and needlepoint artwork that still hangs on the walls.

She retired from the State of Texas Human Resources Department where one of her duties was nurse at the Capital in Austin, Texas when the legislature was in session. Betty was a very active member of her church wherever she lived.

Survivors include three daughters, Rebecca Ann Swadley, Rosemarie Davis and husband, Russell, and Ruthetta Richey and husband, Greg; four grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; one brother, George Washington "Bud" Smith; four sisters, Bunnee Carl, Veloria Butler, Rosie Britton, and Ruby Wagaman; and a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Bob Swadley, Loui Lindeman and Elmer Cummings; and her parents George and Laura Smith
