Obituary Preview: The memorial services celebrating and honoring the life of Bobby Failing, 80, of Enid, are pending.
Born on December 13, 1941 Bobby Failing was a good and kind hearted man. If you got past his gruff exterior you would know just how really gentle he was. He died January 19th 2022, so at least he saw OU final football game for 2021. He was married to Toyoko Moore from January 14,1983 until her death on Feb. 7, 2019. He remarried on May 14, 2019 to Tara Lynn Hutson who loved and cared for him until his passing. I am his stepson but I have known him for about 42 years, we didn’t see eye to eye at first but I have always called him Dad after he married my mom. We did things some sons dream about doing with their Father, We went to football games together both pro and college.  still think his biggest surprise was when I took him to Norman to watch a live OU Sooner game. I have to bless Tara because she got to experience his failing years, while I got all of his best years.
