Angela Jeanette Seel - December 07, 1962 - February 12, 2022

Departed: 02/12/2022 (Columbus)
Obituary Preview: Angela Seel, age 59, loving mother of three and grandmother to three, passed away in the early morning hours of February 12th 2022. After a courageous battle with many medical ailments surmounting over the years Angela succumbed to Covid-19 which developed into a combination of Covid and pneumonia which sadly proved insurmountable. Born in 1962 Columbus, Ohio, Angela grew up influenced by her family in many ways to become a strong, caring woman which she incorporated into her motherhood. As a mother she always did the best she could with the tools she had and as a grandmother did no less, often spoiling her grandchildren as often as she could. Being a strongly devoted Christian woman she would always prioritize her relationship with God in ways that often inspired others. Spreading her belief to any and all who would listen Angela projected her path proudly, before inevitably walking with the angels herself. Often she would happily throw herself into many activities where family was concerned. Angela did her absolute best to attend as many fairs, family gatherings, church, and opportunities to share a meal together, even if it meant overcoming her medical hurdles and pushing herself to be present and enjoy.
Lacking her presence will cast a shadow, leaving her greatly missed by many, especially her family who see her off with nothing but love and adoration for her incomparable contributions to their lives.    " The darker the night, the brighter the stars,       The deeper the grief, the closer you are". Angela is survived by her Children: Anna Whetstone, Natasha Burton, and Denver (Megan) Burton; her siblings: Ray (Ronette) Seel and Dreama (Mitchell) Revoir; and her grandchildren: Liam Spraggins, Alice Holt, and Alexis Holt.
Edwards Funeral Service is honored to be serving the family.

Why are obituaries important?

Who typically writes an obituary?

In most cases, the obituary is written by the family members or close friends of the deceased. Funeral homes or mortuaries may also offer assistance in writing and publishing the obituary.

What information should be included in an obituary?

A typical obituary includes the person's full name, age, date of birth and death, place of residence, occupation, education, military service, hobbies, achievements, and surviving family members. It may also include information about funeral services, memorial donations, and other relevant details.

How long should an obituary be?

What is the difference between an obituary and a eulogy?

What are some alternative ways to share an obituary?

Can I use an obituary as part of a memorial service?

What if I'm struggling to write an obituary due to grief?

Are there any specific guidelines for writing an obituary for someone who was young?

Yes! When writing an obituary for someone who died at a young age, it's essential to focus on their accomplishments, passions, and impact on others despite their short life. Highlighting their strengths and qualities can help celebrate their life in a meaningful way.

Can I include charitable donations in lieu of flowers in an obituary?
