Lucille E. DeZalia, 92, of North Hudson, NY passed away peacefully at the Glens Falls Hospital, Glens Falls, NY, on April 8, 2022.
Lucille (Ceil) was born February 5, 1930, in Corinth, NY.  She was the daughter of the late Fred and Pearl (Duell) Milligan.
Lucille was employed at the Schroon Lake Central School for several years as a Cafeteria Assistant from where she retired.
She was a devout Catholic at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Schroon Lake, NY.
She enjoyed long walks with her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, long rides on back country roads, visiting her friends from Tahawus, NY, where she lived before moving to North Hudson, and most of all, she enjoyed family gatherings with all of her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughters Cathy (Kevin Bryerton) Moses, and Donna (Jerry) Smith, and sons H. Marc (Linda) DeZalia and Terry (Deb) DeZalia along with her grandchildren Todd (Kerry) Moses, Tonya (Joe) Cocca, Chad (Jackie) DeZalia, Cory DeZalia, Brandon (Anna) DeZalia and Hilarie (Nicholas) Patrizio and several great grandchildren whom she adored.
She was predeceased by her husband, Horace E. DeZalia and her youngest son David K. DeZalia.
Donations may be made to the Schroon Lake Ambulance or the American Heart Association.
The family would like to thank the Schroon Lake Ambulance Squad, Schroon Lake, NY, the Essex County Nursing Service, Elizabethtown, NY, High Peak Hospice Inc, Port Henry, NY, the staff at the Glens Falls Hospital ER and the Palliative Care Team at Glens Falls Hospital – all of whom were angels - along with all of the family and friends who have reached out during this difficult time.
Visitation will be from 1030am to 12 noon on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1114 Us Route 9, Schroon Lake, NY 12870.
A funeral mass will follow the visitation at 12 noon on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at Our Lady of Lourdes Church with Rev. Christopher Looby presiding.
Burial will follow at North Hudson Catholic Cemetery.

Catherine Brown Burritt - July 18, 1932 - April 01, 2022

Obituary Preview: Catherine Brown Burritt, 89, passed away on April 1, 2022, after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s disease, at The Pines of Glens Falls.
She was born on July 18, 1932, to the late William and Margaret Brown, Scottish emigrants, in Irvington, NY.  Cathy graduated from Irvington High School in 1950 after meeting her future husband and love of her life, Merton R. (Randy) Burritt (deceased), during her freshman year.  They were married in 1952.
Cathy is survived by her four daughters, Nancy Burritt, Meg Burritt Pauly (Herb), Susan Burritt Grundler (Bill), and Kate Burritt Winslow (Gary); her eight beloved grandchildren, Tim, Sara, AJ, Caitlin, Kyle, Abigail, Margaret, and Nathan; her nine great-granchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.  She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Norma M. Brown (William), Kathleen M. Abrahamson (Ernest) and Judy Burritt MacPherson (Bruce), as well as numerous nephews and nieces and even more numerous great nephews and great nieces.
In addition to her husband, Cathy was predeceased by her four brothers, Robert Brown, James H. Brown, William Brown and John Brown, and one of her two sisters, Janette Brown.  Her sister, Margaret Brown Crescenzi, is her only surviving sibling.  She was also predeceased by two of her sisters-in law, Muriel King Brown (Robert) and Grace Nilsson Brown (James) and her brother-in-law, Armand A. Crescenzi, M.D.
Family was everything to Cathy.  While her children were young, she was a homemaker, a very talented baker (oh, those cookies), she knitted and did needlework, she sewed clothing for her daughters, and she always had a garden, both flower and vegetable. She also did volunteer work with disabled children and her church.  As her daughters grew, she worked for a good friend and florist, making dried flower wreaths and decorations.  After moving, with her family, to Queensbury, NY, in 1974, she worked at Magram’s department store, where she met new friends she greatly enjoyed.  In 1983, she and her husband were finally able to move into the house they had been building on a pond in the Town of Schroon, in the Adirondack Park, a dream finally fulfilled.
The family thanks the staff of the Pines and of Hudson Headwaters Health Network, who took such good care of Cathy while she was at The Pines.
A private, family memorial service will be held this summer, and Cathy’s ashes will be buried beside Randy’s, in the Burritt Family Cemetery in the Town of Schroon.

Lester A. McCoy "Jr" - October 30, 1929 - March 29, 2022

Obituary Preview: Lester A McCoy, 92, fell into eternal sleep on Tuesday March 29, 2022 at his home with his loving family by his side. Lester was born October 30, 1929 in Westport, NY to Lester T. and Mary E. McCoy.
Lester held many jobs during his life. One of his first jobs was as a chicken farmer in South Schroon. He also enjoyed working at the Shell station for Kenneth Locke in Schroon Lake. He retired from New York State DOT with 20+ years of service as a foreman. After retirement he worked for Larry Shiell for many years in excavating. Lester also worked alongside Charlie Sargent in his plumbing and heating business.
Lester enjoyed and loved his family and friends. He was an avid hunter and fisherman when he had the time. He loved the game of golf and the time he spent with his golf buddies. The Hole in One on the 3rd hole at Schroon Lake Golf Course was a monumental achievement he was proud of.
Lester was a member of the Schroon Lake Fire Dept for 60+ years and also a volunteer driver for Schroon Lake EMS. He took great pride in the fire department and spent many hours with his brothers in the fire department and loved it. He would even leave his post while hunting, leaving a note in the sand, when the fire whistle blew. His service and dedication to his community will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Mary Jane McCoy and their children Eugene Aiken, Brian McCoy, Jason McCoy, Lisa Ashline and Amy McCoy. He is survived by his siblings Lena Seeley, Paul McCoy, Curtis McCoy, Leslie McCoy, Bernard McCoy.  He is also survived by his five children from a previous marriage: Philip McCoy, Reitta Kamenicky, Christine D’Andrade, Bonnie Ritson and Darlene Foshay. He leaves many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family who cherished him.

Patricia was born January 27, 1941, in Ticonderoga, NY the daughter of the late Ernest and Delvina (Johndrow) Wathsock.
Patricia was a graduate of Schroon Lake Central School and then married the love of her life, Frederick J. Venner.
Patricia was employed as a waitress at Frontier Town Restaurant, Pitkins Restaurant, Drakes Restaurant, and then became a food service employee at the Schroon Lake Central School from where she retired.
She loved to crochet and knit, and in her younger days met weekly with her neighborhood friends, crocheting, and knitting.
Her children and grandchildren were the love of her life.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Frederick Venner of Schroon Lake, her daughters Beverly (Paul) Cooper and Brenda (Bruce) Caza both of Schroon Lake, her son Charles (Holly) Venner of Keene, NY, her sister Nancy Java of Mineville, NY, 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the Staff at Elderwood, for the wonderful care they provided Patricia during her time there.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. A graveside service, to be announced, will take place in the spring, at the Severance Cemetery.

Paul A. Bessey - February 20, 1968 - February 06, 2022

Obituary Preview: Schroon Lake: Paul A. Bessey, 53 of Schroon Lake, passed away quickly with his family by his side, on Sunday, February 6, 2022. Please take comfort in knowing Paul passed away peacefully.
Paul worked at Adirondack Auto for many years until he got a full-time position with the Town of Schroon, where many of you would see him driving his big truck. Paul also volunteered in the Schroon Lake Volunteer Fire Department for many years. Paul was married to his soul mate Bonnie Bessey for 27 years, and whenever asked how long he’d been married, he always replied, “not long enough!”
Paul loved spending time with his family and his classic Pinto cars and enjoyed it, even more, when he could combine the two at a family car show outing.
Paul is survived by his loving wife Bonnie, his three children, Veronica (Larry) Anderson, Paul Bessey Jr., and Hunter Bessey. He is also survived by his in-laws Ed and Lynn Anderson who loved him nothing short of a son, a brother Rodney (Lori) Bessey of Malone, a sister Joy Bessey of Schroon Lake, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Paul was predeceased by his parents, Donald and Joyce Bessey, his brother Donnie Bessey and a sister Patty Klingbeil.
Paul’s funeral service will be held Thursday, February 17, 2022, at 5:30 PM, at the Edward L. Kelly funeral home, 1019 US Rt.9, Schroon Lake, led by Pastor David Peterson. A reception will follow from 6-8 PM at the Schron Lake Fire Department.
Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until the service at 5:30 PM at the funeral home.

Philip R Tyrrell - January 12, 1943 - February 03, 2022

Obituary Preview: Severance: Philip R. Tyrrell 79, passed away February 3, 2022, at his home after an extended illness.
Phil was born January 12, 1943, in Ticonderoga, NY, the son of the late Arthur L. and Florence Landon Tyrrell.
Phil was also predeceased by his brothers, Rodney Tyrrell, in 2018, Arthur Tyrrell Jr., in 2008, Gilbert Tyrrell, in 1986, and James Tyrrell in 1995, and his sisters Bess Jenks, in 2010 and Suzanne Armstrong Dittmar, in 2001.
Phil joined the Air Force from high school and served for 5 years. After a few odd jobs when he arrived home, he went to work at International Paper Ticonderoga for over 30 years. When he retired, he decided to build his dream home on our property in Severance where we have been since then.
Phil was a real lover of mechanical things, mainly automobiles and snowmobiles. He restored several classic cars in his lifetime and he and his son’s raced snowmobiles.
Phil is survived by his wife Sharron (Hozley) Tyrrell, his three sons, Dean (Rocio) Tyrrell, Darren (Karla) Tyrrell, and Dwayne (Samantha) Tyrrell, seven grandchildren, Nik, Phil, Jeremy, Tonya Loftice, Darren, Brandon, and Issabella Tyrrell, two great-grand-daughters, Jenika and Lillya Tyrrell. And several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank High Peaks Hospice and our special caregivers Alissa and his sister-in-law Donna, for the care and caring!
Phil wished to have no visiting hours or funeral service. Other arrangements will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Sonia Friberg McSpedon - January 21, 1931 - January 13, 2022

Obituary Preview: Newcomb: Sonia Friberg McSpedon passed away on January 13, 2022, eight days shy of her 91st birthday.
Sonia was born on January 21, 1931, in Dobbs Ferry, NY. She was the second child of Henning Friberg and Gerda (Forsberg) Friberg, who each immigrated from Sweden. Her childhood was spent in Irvington, NY, and she graduated from Irvington High School.
Sonia met the love of her life, William J. McSpedon when she was 19. Their relationship quickly became long-distance while William served in the US Army during the Korean War; while he was away, they maintained their courtship through daily letters. After his discharge, they were married on May 30, 1953. They raised their three sons, William, John, and James, in Carmel, NY.
Sonia worked as a secretary after high school but was always drawn to the nursing profession. She changed careers while her sons were still in grade school, first volunteering as a nurse’s aide, then earning her LPN certificate. After working as an LPN for several years, she went back to school and earned an RN degree from Dutchess Community College. She worked at Northern Westchester Hospital in Mt. Kisco, NY.
After William’s retirement, the couple moved to Newcomb, NY, which served as home base for their travels to visit their grandchildren and explore each of the 50 states. In addition to travel, Sonia loved animals, gardening, reading, listening to music, solving crossword puzzles, and being unbeatable at Scrabble. She is remembered for her kindness, mischievous spirit, determination, and love of family. She will be missed.
Sonia was predeceased by her husband William; her sons William and James; and her brother, Enar. She is survived by her son John and his wife Elaine of Temple TX, her son William’s wife Elaine of East Berne, NY, seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held in the spring at the Newcomb Methodist Cemetery State Route 28N, in Newcomb, NY.
The family suggests memorial take the form of donations to the Newcomb Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad, 20 Marcy Lane, Newcomb, NY 12852.

Lillian Loretta Noxon - April 22, 1918 - January 10, 2022

Obituary Preview: Schroon Lake, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lillian Loretta Noxon, 103, residing at the Wesley Health Care Center in Saratoga Springs, NY on January 10, 2022.
Lillian was born April 22, 1918, in Winooski Vermont where her parents Wilfrid and Claudia Poolet resided at the time. She lived in Witherbee, NY after her father took a job in the iron mines there. At the age of seventeen, she married Clarence Hemon Noxon of Schroon Lake, NY living there for over 80 years. Widowed after 52 years. At the age of 98, she moved to the Wesley Health Care Center in Saratoga Springs, NY.
Lillian spent many years as an excellent waitress, at the Terrace Restaurant and the Crawford House, both in Schroon Lake. She was a lifelong knitter making thousands of items, especially baby sweaters.
Lillian outlived 10 brothers and sisters and her oldest son Charles (Billy) Noxon. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She is survived by a son, Paul of Ballston Spa, NY, 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Norman was born May 21, 1941, in Rutland Vt., the son of the late Stanley and Rena (Hulett) Fifield.
Norman was employed in his earlier years as a truck driver for Bureau Brothers logging, Bruce Fifield Excavation and in his final years at High Peaks Golf Course, a job he truly loved.
Norman enjoyed the men’s softball league, playing darts, watching NASCAR, and any sports he could watch on TV. In his earlier years, he enjoyed drag racing his car in North Hudson and South Glens Falls where he earned several trophies.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years Violet (Schraver) Fifield, his two sons, Norman J. Fifield and John Fifield of Newcomb, his two daughters, Marie (Kevin) Gonyea and Donna (Tim) (TJ) DeStefano of Argyle, a very special son Raymond (Etta) McCasland, of Queensbury, his grandchildren, Scott, Tiffany, Brittany, and Zachary Fifield, Kayla and Kevin Jr. Gonyea, Rena, Tim Jr. (LeeAnn), Carmine (Jordan) DeStefano, Emily, and Katlin Fifield and Schraver McCasland, 17 great-grandchildren his brother Vernon (Nancy) Fifield of Granville, and his sister-in-law Barbara (Fifield) Schraver of Newcomb, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family would like to thank Dr. Tom Coppens, Dr. DelGiacco, Kevin Bolan, Kelly Bush, and High Peaks Hospice for their excellent care of Norman during his illness.

Joyce was born September 8, 1934, in Blue Ridge, NY the daughter of the late Leon and Doris Johndrow.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Magnus Andersen who was one of the founding owners of Frontier Town in North Hudson, NY.
Joyce enjoyed sewing, cooking, square dancing, skiing, skating, and sitting on the porch at her lakefront home in Schroon Lake. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who loved taking her grandchildren on trips when they visited her.
Joyce is survived by her brothers Richard and James Johndrow, son Philip, daughter Priscilla, grandson Joshua, granddaughter Jessica, great-granddaughter Haley, great-grandson Cole, niece Vickie Hoffay and nephews Rick and Peter Johndrow.

Steven R. Palmer - February 18, 1946 - November 28, 2021

Obituary Preview: Ticonderoga: Steven R. Palmer, 75, passed away suddenly Sunday morning Nov. 28, 2021, at UVM Medical Center in Burlington, Vt.
Steve was born Feb. 18, 1946, in Ticonderoga, NY the son of the late John and Helen Donaldson Palmer. Steve was also predeceased by his daughter Katrina.
Steve served as a SGT in the US Army and was a proud veteran of the Vietnam war, where he was a member of the Big Red One.
Steve was a former employee of the Town of Schroon, and a retired Millwright, who, after 25 years of service at International Paper Company, in Ticonderoga, was a member of the Quarter Century Club. Steve was an excellent mechanic and welder, sometimes known as “Tackleberry” by his many friends and co-workers. He was known as a Jack-Of-All-Trades who could fix almost anything for anyone who needed a hand.
Steve loved fishing, hunting, boating, and reloading ammunition for family and friends. He was a member of the Hague Fish and Game Club, Northern Washington County Fish, and Game Club, and the BPO Elks Lodge #1494 of Ticonderoga.
Steve is survived by his wife of 26 years Debra Ezzo Palmer, his daughter Shannon and Andy, his Sister Susan (John) Kelly, his grandson Ethan Dancz, his stepdaughter Kristi LaFave, his aunt Jean Garfield and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
At Steve’s request, there will be no calling hours or funeral service.

Dorothea Grace Liberty - March 28, 1924 - November 27, 2021

Obituary Preview: North Hudson: Dorothea Grace (Robbins) Liberty, 97, passed into the arms of the Lord on November 27, 2021, at Elderwood at Ticonderoga.
Dot was born March 28, 1924, in Ticonderoga, NY the daughter of the late Benajah and Bertha Spalding Robbins. She was one of 13 brothers and sisters.
In addition to her parents, Dotty was predeceased by her husband Cliff Liberty, daughter-in-law Dorcas Liberty and sons-in-law Roscoe Herrick and Carl Russell.
Dotty worked many years at Frontier Town in North Hudson, NY becoming famous for her pea soup over the open fire in the pioneer home. Many young workers couldn’t wait for a cup of her pea soup. She retired just prior to Frontier Town shutting down and spent her retirement years enjoying her life.
Dorothea is survived by her son James (Maxine) Liberty, daughters, Janice Herrick, and Mary Jo Russell, 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Clifford Edwin Coyle Jr - August 13, 1934 - November 14, 2021

Obituary Preview: Minerva: Clifford Edwin Coyle Jr. 87 passed away peacefully Sunday, November 14, 2021. Clifford was born in Jersey City, NJ the son of the late Clifford E and Margaret Coyle and grew up in Staten Island, where he graduated from Curtis High School and met his wife, Marian.
Clifford was also predeceased by his sister Patricia D’Addesa and son-in-law, Robert J. Dougherty.
Clifford was known as being the youngest lifeguard at New Dorp Beach in Staten Island: continuing his love of helping people he enlisted in the US Army where he fought in the Korean War, he then joined the NJ State Trooper’s shortly after. As a Trooper, he was decorated with many awards and achievements for his service. He retired to Minerva, NY in 1989 where he lived the rest of his life around many family members and friends in the place that he loved the most, the Adirondack Mountains. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Olmstedville, where he became the oldest “Altar Boy” until age 86, which he was very proud of.
Clifford will be remembered for his amazing stories, telling anyone he could about his time in the Army or his time as a Narcotics Detective; his love for his family, giving everyone their own unique, rhyming nickname; using his “Duck Voice” any chance he could, especially with the Great-Grandchildren; his love of music, blasting Glen Miller Band or Irish music first thing in the morning to wake everyone in the house; his knack for fixing anything, “it’s never as easy as it seems”, his love of skiing, especially at Gore Mountain with his family; his uncommon phone greeting, “Moshi Moshi Anone!”; and mostly his love of peanut butter, he would eat peanut butter on anything.
He is survived by his wife, Marian, his daughters Cynthia Dougherty, Corrine Coyle (Kevin Gurtler), Colleen (Robert) Hanley, Granddaughter’s, Jennifer (Eddy) Rivera, Diana Pace, Ryan (Joseph) Porter, and Breanne Hanley, Grandson’s, Robert Dougherty, Charles Pace, Clifford (Lynnette) Pace, Kyle (Kaitlin) Hanley, niece’s Janice Kohrman, Carolyn Hakim, and Lisa Zambas, Nephew, Robert (Starla) Kohrman, as well as many Great Grandchildren whom he loved dearly.
A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday morning November 20, 2021, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Olmstedville, interment with Military Honors will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Irishtown.

Duane was born May 26, 1934, in Pottersville, the son of the late Amos D and Adaline (Vanderwarker) Agard. He was also predeceased by his brother Marvin Agard.
He was a 1954 graduate of Pottersville Central School. He married the love of his life, Golda Millington June 27, 1954, at the Hudson Falls United Methodist Church.
Duane was employed for 10 years at NL Industries, The United States Post Office as Postmaster for 26 years, he did maintenance work at Natural Stone Bridge and Caves and was a wingman on a plow truck for the Town of Chester.
Duane served in the Army National Guard as a Platoon Sergeant with the 646th Medical Co. for 26 years. He was a 56-year member of the Pottersville Volunteer Fire Department where he served as Chief for many years. He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Pottersville.
Duane enjoyed going to Casinos and family gatherings.
Survivors include his loving wife of 67 years Golda J. Agard, his daughter Deborah (John) of Lake Luzerne, his sons Bruce (Joan) of Argyle and Daniel (Robbin) of Oakdale, CT, Sister, Margaret Andrews, brother Richard (Janet) Agard of Chestertown, granddaughter Elaine (Gaby) of Manchester, CT., grandsons, Nate (Danielle) of Corinth, Chris (Chelsea) of Hadley, and Troy of Warren, MA., and his great-grandchildren, Morgan, Easton and Louis, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at 4:00 PM at the Edward L. Kelly Funeral Home, 1019 US Rt. 9 Schroon Lake, the Rev Arnold Stevens Pastor of the Pottersville United Methodist Church officiating.

Jackie was born in Poughkeepsie, NY, and graduated from Schroon Lake, Central School. She went to Albany Business College and the College of St. Rose where she graduated summa cum laude with a degree in business education. Jackie worked as a teacher and a medical administrator before turning her full attention to raising her family. She was a devoted mother and had the utmost pride in the accomplishments of her children. She was rewarded with five grandchildren who were the shining stars of her life, and she was their Mimi.
Jackie loved traveling and seeing the natural beauty in her world, particularly in her native Adirondack Mountains. She enjoyed playing golf, tennis, bridge, and mahjong with her many friends at Oak Hill and Shadow Wood Country Clubs. Most of all Jackie loved spending time with her family.

Richard was a decorated Marine who proudly served his country. He served 2 tours in Vietnam from 1965 to 1971. He never forgot the MIAs who never returned. They were a daily symbol hanging below our American flag and on the back window of his truck. He was the epitome of what it means to be an American and exemplified the Marine motto: “Semper Fi” and lived his life accordingly.
Richard was an engineer for General Electric who traveled the world until his retirement.
He is survived by his beloved wife Terese.
A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date.

Mike was born November 6, 1952, in Ticonderoga, NY the son of the late James and Regina Moreau McKee. He was a lifelong resident of Schroon Lake.
In addition to his parents, Mike was predeceased by his Grandparents Fern and Samuel McKee, his aunt, Kathleen Moreau, and uncle, Henry McKee.
Mike Graduated from Schroon Lake Central School.
Mike worked at the Northwoods Club for several years. He was the former owner and operator of the Glendale Inn and Cabins in Pottersville, NY. He was a racehorse owner and a licensed Harness Race driver at Saratoga Racecourse for many years. He became a Rural Letter Carrier for the US Postal Service, in Schroon Lake, he retired after over 30 years of service. He was President of the Essex County Rural Carriers Association and continued service in many different capacities in the Post Office System. He was the NYS Rural Carrier of the year in 2015.
Mike lived a life in service of others and because of his kindness, all who met him called him a friend.  Mike was someone who did anything for anyone, as well as many things that no one even knew he did at all. Working was his lifelong passion, and he pursued many different paths in his journey throughout his life, beginning at age 10 and continuing until days before the end of his life. He was the sexton of the cemeteries in Schroon Lake.
Mike had many “Families” he treasured. Cathy Fariss and her children Shawn (Natasha), Matthew, Christopher (Lisa), Matt & Karen (Fariss) Manell, grandchildren: Ethan, Jullian, Jayce, Ceci, Matthew, and Wyatt filled his life with joy.
Mike loved his McKee family- small as it was. Ginny, Shelly, and Vicki (Bryant) were always kept up to date, on everything Schroon Lake. Brian and Kevin Frey, Ryan, and Jenna Romano, and Bryce Vallie called him Uncle Mike along with Kramer Frey and Jace Romano.
Cindy (St. Amour) Clark and Willie St. Amour called him Dad and Beth, Ashley, Ryan, and Danielle called him BoBo.
His one and only cousin, Dee Dee Nichols was always included in his itinerary when traveling across the country.
Other families of Mike’s included his School Classmates, His Horse Racing Family, his Post Office Family, His Mariner Spring Training Family in Peoria AZ, (Mike was Spring Training Volunteer of the year in 2015 and was awarded with the Mel Webber Leadership Award for continued Outstanding Support of the Peoria Diamond Club Volunteers in 2020), and his Sun City, AZ Wood-shop family. He reveled in his Colorado Hunting Family as well as his Fishing Family. Of Course, all the people of Schroon Lake were his family.
A Celebration of Mike’s Life will be held Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at 1:00 PM at the Edward L. Kelly Funeral Home 1019 US Rt.9 Schroon Lake. Interment will follow in the Schroon Lake Community Cemetery.

Madeline was born in Newcomb, April 2, 1932, the daughter of the late Romeus J. and Cecile (LaCourse) Blanchette. She married the love of her life, Douglas Garand in September of 1955 in the former St. John’s Catholic Church in Newcomb.
Madeline was also predeceased by her beloved husband of 66 years Douglas Garand on April 7, 2021, her sister Jane (Blanchette) Snide, and her brother Roger Blanchette.
Madeline was a former employee at NL Industries, the Blue Mountain Lake Museum, and the Town of Newcomb Medical Center. While in high school she was employed at the national historic landmark, Camp Santanoni, located in Newcomb.
More importantly, Madeline enjoyed baking and playing the piano. She was also very fond of traveling with her husband and exploring several countries.
Madeline is survived by her sisters, Florette Barror, Irene Arthur, Lucille (Dick) Gibbs, and Gertrude Valliere; her brothers Paul (Jean) Blanchette and Andrew Blanchette, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Madeline’s family would like to thank the staff at the Albany Medical Center for the wonderful care they provided Madeline, and a special thanks to her sister Gertrude Valliere for always being there for Madeline.
A funeral mass will be offered Saturday morning October 9, 2021 at 9:30 AM at St. Therese’ Catholic Church in Newcomb, NY,  Rev. Peter Berg, Pastor officiating. Interment will follow in St Therese’ Cemetery.

She is also predeceased by her first husband Thomas Harris, second husband David Dimick, siblings Wanda Green and Kevin Green, as well as her beloved dog Abby.
Patty held many roles throughout her life. She was a mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, wife, widow, and friend, among other things. She loved unconditionally and would do anything for her loved ones, especially her children and grandchildren. Those who knew her will remember Patty as being one of the most resilient individuals they’ve ever met. She was known for her quick wit, sharp tongue, and uncanny ability to make light of even the darkest and most dreary situations. As hard as she was on the exterior, she loved harder and took pride in caring for those around her – she truly had a heart of gold.
Patty is survived by her son Bryan Harris, daughter-in-law Ashley, and granddaughter Elliana; her eldest daughter Nicole and grandchildren Alexander, Madison, Hunter, and Aedan; her youngest daughter Kylie; siblings Randy, Doug, Cyndy, Jack, Tim, and Bonnie; as well as many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and brother and sisters-in-law – all of which she cherished.
A memorial service for family and friends will be held Sunday afternoon from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at the Edward L. Kelly Funeral Home 1019 US Rt.9, Schroon Lake, NY. There will be a reception for close family and friends following the service at the Minerva Community Center.

In her twenty-three years on earth, she exhibited bravery conquering multiple medical issues and surgeries beginning when she was a newborn and only provided a two percent chance to survive in her first year of life. She defied the odds time and again proving her courage and tenacity.
Angelina attended Prospect, Fort Ann, Newcomb, and Warrensburg schools and graduated from CV-Tech Mineville, NY, Class of 2019. She attended the Clover Patch Camp for individuals with disabilities and Double H Ranch where she participated in downhill skiing for many years and was known as the “Queen”. Angelina was known to be mischievous and loved to pull a prank on those that she loved. She was feisty and playful, as well as lively and spirited, she was loving and affectionate, as well as daring and fearless. Angelina was a soul that we were blessed to have in our lives, and she will never be forgotten.
Angelina is survived by her mother and stepfather, Bobbi, and James Dugan; her father, Richard Printy; brother Grant Printy; sisters, Leonette Peters and Marie Fish; paternal grandmother, Chelly Howe; maternal grandparents, Al, and Shelly Pasquale. Angelina also had many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins whom she loved dearly. Angelina had a special place in her heart for her Aunt Lori, she was her aunt's “little peanut”. Her Mountain Lake Services family was dear to her heart who will miss her bubbly personality every day.

Dick started his career at Elk Lake Lodge and worked there for over 20 years. His love for the outdoors and working with his hands kept him there, until he transitioned to Schroon Lake Central School where he was a custodian and served many other roles. He lived to help others and loved his family and friends above all else.
On February 28, 1965, Dick married MaryEllen Hart. They have shared a union of 56 years. Dick is survived by his wife MaryEllen and 3 daughters he cherished: Billie-jo Carlson and husband Scott of Lakeland Florida, Ellen Davenport of Mohawk, NY, and Sarah Dodd and husband Tommy of Cincinnati, OH: nine grandchildren: Heather weeks and husband Kyle, Keith Carlson and wife Brittany, Chelsea LaRock, Haylee Simpson, JaNay Coney, Johnelle Boyd, Jayana Boyd, Dexter Dodd, and Dylan Dodd; and nine great-grandchildren: Arik, Annika, and Bjorn Weeks, Lily Ortega, Johnna, John, and Stormy Lanaux, Joseph and Jaxon Kobielski. Dick had had six siblings, many nieces, and nephews, and an even longer list of people he considered family.
In keeping with Dick’s wishes, he will be cremated with a small family service and spreading of ashes, to be held at a later date in NY.

Following high school, he served as a Sergeant in the US Army during the Korean War. After the war, Bill joined the New York City Fire Department and after 23 years retired as a Lieutenant.
Bill and Mary retired in Schroon Lake, NY where he was an EMT with the Schroon Lake Emergency Squad, sang in the choir at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, volunteered with the Red Cross and North Country Mission of Hope.
Bill was married to his sweetheart Mary (Sheehan) Calmbacher for forty-six years, who predeceased him in 2001.
Bill is survived by his daughter Alice (Eddie) Hage of Valley Cottage, NY; son, Bill (Amanda) Calmbacher of Burnsville, Minnesota; daughter, Carol (Keith) Herring of West Berlin, Vermont and loving grandchildren- Conor, Nicole, Aisling, and Joey.
