Kenneth G. Raisler - June 16, 1932 - March 09, 2022

Obituary Preview: Kenneth Raisler Our dad passed away on Wednesday, March 9 after a short illness. Ken was born on June 16, 1932, the son of Andrew and Edna (Sievers) Raisler. He was baptized on July 3, 1932 and confirmed on March 25, 1945 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Bear Creek where he was a lifelong member.
Dad married mom, Fay Brennenstuhl, on December 12, 1959. They were blessed with five children and almost 51 years of marriage before mom’s passing in November of 2010.  Dad was a hard-working dairy farmer. He instilled a strong work ethic for us kids (even though we might not have appreciated it at the time). Dad served as a supervisor for the Town of Bear Creek. He was a charter and lifelong member of the Union Threshermen’s Club. He also worked for the Clintonville School District as a night janitor for several years after he retired from farming. He got to know many of our high school teachers and found out he raised some pretty good kids, not that he didn’t know that already. As mom’s health was failing, we saw the deep love and tender caring side of dad as he took on the role of her caregiver. Dad took on that role and said it never caused him stress. We know better. He loved tinkering with his antique tractors and his many lawn mowers. He especially loved fishing, mostly in the winter. He would catch so many fish that it would be fish for breakfast, dinner and supper when we were growing up.
Dad is survived by his children, Amy Webb (special friend Michael Rackauskis), Daytona Beach, FL, Marcia (Jeff) Pethke, Bear Creek, Bruce (Sally) Raisler, New London and Sara (Erv) Smith, Bear Creek.  Grandchildren: Kimberly (Michael) Saunders, Stephanie (fiancé Aaron Stasinski) Burton, Spenser Burton, Abby (Dan) Schulz, Adam (Lacy) Raisler, Eric (Molly) Raisler, Samantha (Tyler) Griffin, Danielle (Jake) Zinsli, Zach (Isha) Beyer and Miriam (Bret) McCarty.  Great Grandchildren: Ridley Vacca, Zosia Stasinski, MaKieyela, Mallex, MaHayleigha, and MaKayna Raisler, Lauren Raisler, Cheyenne, Christine and Lily Griffin, Zoey Beyer, Trenton Parker, Marah Smith and Xavier Lapp and baby Raisler due in June, and baby Schulz due in August.  He is further survived by his sister Emy Brezinski, Glen Mills, PA and Mae Sanford, Beloit, WI and a brother-in-law Tom Jozwiak, Tigerton, WI and several nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife Fay, daughter Andrea, son-in-law Rufus Webb, parents, in-laws William and Hilda Brennenstuhl, sisters Ruth (Bill) Selle, Geraldine (Don) Hedberg and brother Llewellyn (Elaine) Raisler, sister-in-law, Ruth Jozwiak and brother-in-laws Jerry Brezinski, Larry Sanford, and Don (Doris) Brennenstuhl and granddaughter Christine Beyer. Kenneth’s funeral service will be held Tuesday March 15, 2022 at 10 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Bear Creek with Rev. Aric Fenske officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 5-7 PM at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory in Clintonville and again at the church on Tuesday from 9 AM until the time of service. www.eberhardtstevenson.com
We would like to thank the amazing nurses and staff of Thedacare at Home Hospice for the care and concern given to dad in his final days. We would also like to thank Vito, our in-home caregiver, for making dad’s wish come true, to spend his final days in the only home he knew. You were a gift from God, Vito, and we will be forever grateful.

Obituary Preview: Andrew J. Miller, age 54 of Clintonville, passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center, Neenah.

Andrew was the beloved “baby brother” of his five siblings: Beth (Mark) Kuehn, Sandy, UT; Dave Miller, Shawano; Hope (Terry) DiPiazza, Rolling Meadows, IL; Dean (Nancy) Miller, Darien, IL; Daniel (Judy) Miller, Clintonville. His nieces and nephews, Brant, Dillon, Natalie, Julia, Laura, Christine, Darren, Amy, Abby, Tommy, remember a sweet, fun uncle who shared his music, knowledge, and humor with them to make lasting memories. Andrew is also survived by three grandnieces and a grandnephew who would have loved sitting with him in nature and learning at his knee. Andrew is further survived by his dear Aunt Alda Gordon of Franksville, WI and cousins Susan, Steven, and Bill. Andrew was baptized at Peace Lutheran Church in Belleville, IL. The family later moved to LaGrange, IL and Andrew attended St. John Lutheran School. The family settled in 1979 in Clintonville, WI and Andrew was confirmed at St. Martin Lutheran Church and attended school there and was a 1985 graduate of Clintonville HS. Andrew’s passion was music and he wrote a treasury of songs. He played guitar and drums and played local gigs with his band and also praise and worship music. He and his dad played parts in “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” and often spoke of that father/son experience. Other interests were astronomy, Biblical archeology, nature and camping, movie classics, and the music of Rush. He was a home Jeopardy phenom. He was an avid Packer fan and had a treasured vintage Packer knit cap that he wore his entire life.  His pets were his joy – most recently his beloved beagle Susie and his Maltese Lily.  Andrew appreciated God’s creation whether it was a summer night on the front porch listening to the song of crickets or viewing the awesome night sky in the UP at Teepee Lake or along the shores of Lake Superior.   Andrew was a sweet, gentle soul with a deep thoughtful intelligence, a child-like faith, and an amazingly quick wit and sense of humor. Andrew loved the Lord Jesus with all his heart, soul, and mind. In this we find our comfort. Together, in God’s presence, Christ will wipe away every tear.

Andrew appreciated the excellent foundation he received in his years at St. Martin Lutheran School and suggested any memorials go directly to the school so that others can have an excellent education experience as well.

Donna was born September 25, 1936 to Emil and Viola (Westphal) Ewert. Donna was the last living member of her core family. She has at last been reunited in heaven with her husband Vilas, sons Randy and Terry, daughter-in-law Pam (Olson), her parents, grandparents, older sister Laverne, (who she is meeting for the first time), and brother, Marvin. Obituary Preview: Henry G. Grunewald, age 64 of the Township of Pella, passed away on Thursday January 6, 2022 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center, Appleton.
Henry “Hank” Gust Grunewald was born in Clintonville on November 10, 1957, son to the late Gustave R. & Virginia A. (Pevonka) Grunewald. He attended school in Marion and graduated with the M.H.S. class of 1977. He farmed with Andrew Pockat for a time, and later worked at Marion Hardware. Henry was united in marriage to Carol J. Pluger at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Marion on June 9, 1979. Then he farmed again full time, later starting work with Town and Country Drywall. After a while, he set out on his own, starting his own business called Hank’s Drywall. He hung drywall locally for over 30 years. He officially retired, but never really stopped working; drywall side jobs and helping local farmers with the fall harvest, kept him very busy. Hank was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Pella. He loved being out in the woods hunting deer and coyotes, but bear most of all. Hank helped start the group, Pipeline Bear Hunters, Crooked Lake, WI, and was very active in the organization. He could chat your ear off about bear hunting non-stop, and enjoyed time sharing his passion with family and friends. Spending time at the camper on the land up north near Crooked Lake was something Henry always enjoyed; they also hunted and fished up there. His 2.5 acre vegetable garden was always impressive and he shared it’s bounty locally, and to patrons up north. He had fun the past 15 years volunteering alongside the Caroline Lions Club to clean up after the event; also a great excuse to visit with friends. Henry and Carol cherished spending time with friends up in Rhinelander at the Hodag Country Music Festival; they haven’t missed one in the last 25 years. He tapped his hardwood trees every year to make maple syrup, and also attended many ice-fishing derbys, his favorite event at Harpts Lake. His heart of gold and his happy-go-lucky personality, made him the perfect person to help others in need. If you’ve met Hank, you’d never forget him. Henry was survived by his loving wife of 42 years: Carol Daughter: Katie Ann N. Grunewald, Pella Siblings: William (Iris) Grunewald, Caroline; Mary Zahn, Clintonville; Margaret (Terry) Gott, Antigo; Julie Grunewald, Caroline; & Edward Grunewald, Shawano
