Obituary Preview: Obituary for Allison Irvin
Allison Irvin (nee Hill), lifelong resident of Gloucester Township, NJ, passed away May 28, 2022, at the age of 76 years. Treasured daughter of the late Elmer and Elsie Hill. Devoted wife of the late Thomas P. Irvin, Jr., who predeceased her in 2017. Beloved sister of the late Nancy J. O’Brien (Jim, surviving). She is survived by many loving friends.
Allison worked for over forty years as an LPN for Kennedy Health System. She was raised and later inherited her family’s farm, a place she loved dearly and worked tirelessly to preserve. She and her husband worked alongside one another to always keep the farm beautiful. Allison loved her chickens, cats, and most of all, her ponies. She found great peace tending to her gardens every year and had a particular fondness for sunflowers. Her love of flowers and her creativity even lead her to make gorgeous arrangements throughout the years. Above all, Allison had a seemingly endless supply of love, compassion, and generosity. She would do anything for anyone, whether she knew them or not, always looking for ways to help those in need and staying current, not just on the struggles of those around her, but around the world as well. Allison’s inner light and beauty is reflected in the sunflowers she loved so much. She will be deeply and truly missed.
