Obituary Preview: Bryan Howard Robb, 64, of Steubenville, Ohio passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022. He was born on March 11, 1957 in Steubenville a son of the late Howard & Mary Louise Flinn Robb. He was a 1975 graduate of Steubenville High School where he played football for three years.
In 1978, Bryan began his career at Weirton Steel that spanned over 40 years. He met many wonderful people and made lifetime friendships at the mill. Bryan always wanted to be a millworker and was proud of his work heritage. He was always willing to help his friends.
Bryan’s passion of aviation honored his father who served in the Army Air Corps during WWII and he has flown in most of the available flying crafts of that era. He also loved all military aircraft and enjoyed attending local and national airshows. He also enjoyed attending the Indianapolis Motor Speedway with his friends. Bryan was a loyal Ohio State fan and a die-hard Laker fan, but his true sports love was the Cleveland Browns. Good or bad, win or lose, Bryan yelled, but always supported the Browns.
Bryan is survived by his brother Barry (Connie) Robb; good friend Linda, and countless other friends and neighbors.  Preceding Bryan in death were his parents and infant brother Bradly.
Bryan’s laugh and good natured joking will be missed by all who knew him.

She was born on October 29, 1943 in Bloomingdale, Ohio, a daughter of the late James V. & Virginia M. Nuest Morelli. She was a retired payroll clerk for W.T. Grant. June was a member and an Elder at Two Ridges Presbyterian Church. Preceding June in death were seven siblings Rosa Zink, Mary Anna Morelli, James Morelli, Victoria Kosar, Ellen Burgess and toddlers Joseph & Frank.
June is survived by her devoted husband David J. “Skip” Laughery; son Donald J. (Robin) Laughery; daughter Diana (Christopher) Smith; four grandchildren Amber & Amelia Smith and Carly Jo & Kyle Laughery; two great grandchildren Chloe & Luke; siblings Roland (Irene) Morelli, Orega Yanik & Midge Baker.

Dr. David H. Robinson - April 25, 1937 - January 30, 2022

Obituary Preview: Dr. David H. Robinson, 84, of Bloomingdale, Ohio passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at his residence. He was born on April 25, 1937 in Steubenville, the son of the late Harold G. and Gladys R. Purviance Robinson.  Doc graduated from Steubenville High School in 1955 and from The Ohio State University in 1962 with a degree in veterinary medicine. He owned Crestview Veterinary Clinic in Bloomingdale for 59 years and mentored several future veterinarians, including his daughter and two sons-in-law. He served on the Friendship Park Board and as the Jefferson County Fair veterinarian for decades. Doc was active in the OSU College of Veterinary Medicine Alumni Association and served a term as president of the Association.
Doc loved animals and being a veterinarian. He thrived because every day at work was different and there was always something to learn. He was never afraid to try something new, even putting orthodontic braces on a dog once. He loved having fun, laughing and playing practical jokes. Doc wanted his life to be an adventure, and it was. Most of all, though, Doc loved his family. He was the greatest husband/father/grandfather/great-grandfather imaginable. We are so lucky to have him in our lives.
Preceding Doc in death were his first wife Marlene C. Robinson; daughter Kristen C. Johnson; and stepson Det. Sgt. Robert Bartek.
Doc is survived by his wife Violet J. Pernick Robinson; son David L. (Julie) Robinson; daughter Carrie H. Robinson; twelve grandchildren Ben and Marah Halper, Leah (Alex) Woody; Sam and Aaron Robinson; Delaney and Hayden Johnson; Maya and Anya Bartek; Ash, Vinnie and Anna Newman; great grandson Abraham Woody; son-in-law Dr. Kurt Johnson; stepdaughter Elizabeth (Paul) Newman; and step daughter-in-law Tamara Bartek.

Y.M.C.A., country rides and the Amish Flea Markets.  She also enjoyed watching DVDs’, cartoons, musicals and Christmas movies, looking at magazines and loved going for walks outside.

Josephine is survived by her son Joe Hammer; granddaughter Mary Jo “MJ” Bowers; great grandson Chris Gooderl and great great granddaughter Kinsey Jo Gooderl.

Canestraro Ardito. She retired after forty years of teaching and directing the second-grade play at Wintersville Elementary School. She instilled a love of learning and the arts for generations of students.
Donna was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Steubenville and an Associate with the Dominican Sisters of Peace (Columbus, Ohio). Donna was a graduate of Franciscan University and earned a Masters in Education from the University of Dayton.
In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her sister Carol Ann.
Donna is survived by her family and circle of loving friends, Ellen Dunn, OP, Kara (Richard) Flanigan, and Nerina (Nori) Bonaventura. Obituary Preview: Camilla (Cam) F. Day, 82, of Wintersville, Ohio, formerly of Shadyside, Ohio passed away January 18, 2022 at Trinity Medical Center West.  She was born December 8, 1939 in Bellaire, Ohio the daughter of the late Edward and Joan Gunkievich Ciszewski.
Camilla attended Shadyside schools and graduated with the Class of 1957.  She worked as a bookkeeper for the C.A. Robecht Company in Wheeling, West Virginia before moving to Wintersville, Ohio where she enjoyed being a homemaker and raising her children.  Camilla was Catholic by faith and attended St. Pius X church in Steubenville, Ohio.
An avid bowler, Cam was an officer in the Steubenville Women’s Bowling Association, secretary/treasurer of many leagues, and was a member of the 600 Club.  She enjoyed bowling in state and national tournaments across the country.  She was also an officer for the Wintersville Band Boosters and instructed the flag corps for the band.  Cam was an accomplished crocheter, loved to fish for Bluegill at the lake, and enjoyed going to casinos.
Cam is survived by her loving husband, Robert W. Day; daughter Linda Ulasiewicz and son Scott (Lynn) Day; grandchildren John (Hannah) Ulasiewicz, Lauren Ulasiewicz and Keeley Day.

Obituary Preview: On Monday, January 17, 2022, Carolyn Lee Goddard Musgrave, formerly of Wintersville, Ohio, passed away peacefully from health complications in Rockville, Maryland. She was seventy-nine years old. Carolyn was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.
Carolyn Goddard Musgrave was the daughter of Albert Leonard Goddard and Mildred Irene Hill Goddard. Carolyn met the love of her life, Kenneth Clough Musgrave, in 1958, and together, they had three children, Susan Musgrave, Kenneth Musgrave, and Debra Fair. She was preceded in death by her husband on January 23, 1994. Carolyn is survived by her caring sister Sandra Kay Goddard, her children Susan, Kenneth, and Debra, six grandchildren John, Kristopher, Sierra, Michelle, Sandy, and Kenny, and seven great-grandchildren Brian, Landon, Evan, Jaxon, Johnathan, Olivia, and Taylor.
Carolyn kept everyone laughing, finding humor in even the most mundane moments. She was known as someone who loved to cook, shop, collect, and travel. She genuinely enjoyed connecting with others, striking up conversations everywhere she went, and always making a lasting impression. Carolyn first worked for the school system as a playground aide before becoming a professional cake decorator. Some of her proudest moments were making wedding cakes for her children.
A celebration of Carolyn’s life will be held in Ohio on a date to be announced. Obituary Preview: George Henry Weiser III, of Supply, North Carolina, formerly of Bloomingdale, Ohio, passed away on January 14, 2022 at his residence. He was born in Philadelphia, PA on May 30, 1947, a son of the late George H. Weiser, Jr. and the late Mildred Malandro Weiser. He retired after 30 years service with Verizon and then became an independent jeweler. George served in the Marine Corps, including a tour in Vietnam which was documented by his picture in the February 1967 National Geographic magazine.
George enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, showing his vintage autos and designing custom jewelry.
George is survived by his wife of fifty-three years, Georgianne "Georgi" Gabsella; two brothers Paul (Alice) Weiser and Thomas (Kathleen) Weiser; and the families of Donna and Bruce Eastham, Joni and David Linch, Sherri and Robert Shaffer, Jr., Terri Donato, Edward Kowalski, Robert and Catherine Shepherd, Patricia Gibson, Mary Kay Mullavey, James Gibson and Andrew Donato.
Inurnment will be held in Arlington National Cemetery.

Obituary Preview: Carol L. Bonar, the inspirational leader of her family, loving and mentoring mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, who spent her life making the world a better place for every life she touched, passed away surrounded by family, on January 13, 2022 at the age of 83 years. She
has now rejoined her parents, William and Josephine Macpherson, who preceded her in death. Carol’s story began on February 15, 1938 in Steubenville, Ohio. She was one of five children, sister, Josie Glauser (Gil), brother, Bill Macpherson (Flor), sister, Cathy DiBartolomeo (David),
and brother Chuck Macpherson (Linda). She was a 1956 graduate of Steubenville High School. Soon after she met and married Ron, in 1957. She was a mother of three; Ronald Stephen (Mary Helen), Bobbie Jo (Charles), and Jimmy Michael (Dee). A grandmother of seven, Tracy (Steve), George, Tiffany (Erik), Jimmy, CJ, and Eric (Marianne), Sara, and a great grandmother of 15. Carol’s lasting legacy is the strength, determination, love and spirit she instilled in her
family and many lives she positively impacted. In 1971, Carol began a fulfilling career at St. Johns Medical Center where she worked nights in Central Services and attended College at Ohio University, during the day, in hopes of becoming a medical illustration artist. After just six months the President of the hospital approached her to become an EEG technician. In 1974 the Neurovascular Department was established which began her 45 year career in the field. The achievements that were thrust upon her for her hard work and dedication were endless, including Vice President of the United Cerebral Palsy of the Ohio Valley, Board Member of the United Way of Jefferson County, The Neurodiagnostic Society Fellow-ASET, but she was most proud of being honored with the St.Clare Award for exemplary contributions to society and
modeling Franciscan values in everyday life. Her love of photography, traveling spirit, zest for life, and passion for sports- Roll Red Roll, will
live on. A Celebration of Carol’s life will be held at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road,
Wintersville, OH, on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 from 2-5 pm.

Reynolds; four brothers Leonard, Adam & Walter Kolopajlo and Hugh Williams, Jr.; two sisters Margaret Bednar & Helen Burchfield.
Paul is survived by his wife Phyllis Hartzell Bodo Kolopajlo whom he married on April 6, 2013; three children Gary (Linda) Reyna, Dan (Beth) Kolopajlo, Nancy (Chuck) Argentine; five stepchildren Bruce (Sue) Davis, Patty (Ed) Ross & Brian Davis, David (Jane) Bodo & Keith (Suzanne) Bodo; sister Ann Zmuda; brother Lawrence Williams; 21 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Patricia is preceded in death by great-granddaughter Sadie Jo Tice; sister Joyce Van Horne and son-in-law Bob Leonard.
Patricia dearly loved her family.  She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Glenn S. She was a member of Triumph of the Cross (Holy Rosary) Catholic Church where she served as a reader and eucharistic minister. Helen was devoted to the Blessed Mother and praying the Rosary.
Preceding Helen in death were her parents; husband Guy J. Traversa, Jr. on April 10, 2019; and brother Bob Dailey.
Helen is survived by her three daughters Marie A. Traversa, Beth (Rick) Burns & Kathleen (Napoleon) Silva; three grandchildren Erika (Anthony) Martucci, Brandon (Leigh) Silva & Connor Silva; siblings Mike (Anne) Dailey, Peggy (Richard) Maloney, Theresa Dailey & Kathleen Ricci.

Robert worked at International Mill Service. He was owner of Prolago's Carry-Out Store on 7th Street in Steubenville. Robert was also owner of Prolago & Son General Hauling. He retired from Job and Family Services where he worked for many years in the building and grounds department. Robert had a strong work ethic. He worked hard his entire life. Robert's family was most important to him.
Robert was preceded in death by his five (5) brothers Louis, Frank Jr., Paul, William and Ray Prolago and his five (5) sisters Isabelle Bengier, Virginia Smogonovich, Madalyn Frascketti, Jeanette Bracciale, Anna Stirpe and four infant siblings. Surviving are his wife Penny (Stupelli) Prolago, his son Robert Shaun Prolago, his daughter Lisa Anne (Bobby) Carmichael, and two (2) sisters Helen Sciaretti and Mary (Bun Bun) Reeves.
A private service was held at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home in Wintersville, Ohio with Robert's immediate family members. He was buried at the Union Cemetery in Steubenville.

Martin, 70, of Brilliant, Ohio passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Steubenville, Ohio.  She was born in Follansbee, WV on May 25, 1951, the daughter of the late Arthur Kimberland and Hattie (Freshwater) Kimberland.  She also is preceded in death by her husband, Charles David Martin, Sr., and her siblings: James Wilson; Dorothy (Kimberland) Bryan; Jean (Wilson) Petruccioli; and Audrey (Wilson) Rotolo.
Vicky spent close to 30 years in the restaurant industry, where she made many life-long friendships and touched many peoples’ lives.  She was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend to many.  Vicky was happiest surrounded by her family.  She loved to cook big family meals, especially during the holidays.  She will be remembered as a woman who worked hard and was a survivor with a love for clothes and being stylish.
Vicky will be dearly missed and cherished by her surviving family; daughters Trina (Gregory) McMasters, Hattie Nicole (George) Markoff, Rebecca (Scott) Lewis; sons John Martin (Kim Richardson) and Matthew Martin; step-son David (Debbie) Martin, Jr.; step-daughter Christine (David) Shore; grandchildren Timothy (Jessica) McMasters, Victoria Matuska, Logan (Ayleia) Graham, Breanna Graham, Allison and Jackson Lewis; step-grandchildren David and Travis Shore; great grandchildren Sullivan and Micah McMasters, Ava Wood.

Obituary Preview: Arthur D. Michael Jr. (known to his family and friends as’Bud’), age 89, passed away peacefully on Dec. 31, 2021. Arthur was born on Sept. 19, 1932 to Arthur D. and Prema Michael in Morgantown, WV.  Arthur graduated from Morgantown High School in 1950.
Arthur served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War in 1952-1954 and was honorably discharged.   He married Christena Carol Sponaugle in 1957 and they celebrated 58 years of marriage before her passing in 2015.
Arthur was employed by Weirton Steel as an electrical foreman and retired in 1991 after 41 years. He was also a bailiff for the Jefferson County Court for 48 years.
Arthur was a member of Bell Chapel United Methodist Church.
Those who knew Arthur Michael, know that he had an extensive Masonic history.  He also served as the head of many of those bodies, most of which are located in Steubenville, Ohio. He was a member of the following:
Pilgrim Lodge No.691, Union Chapter No.15, Council No. 2, (order of Silver Trowel), Steubenville Commandery  No. 11 (KCT, Grand Commander of Ohio 2004-2005), Ohio Pryory No.18 (KYGCH), Scottish Rite, Valley of Steubenville ( Honorary 33rd in 1990), Aladdin Shrine Club of Columbus and Steubenville, Commissioned as a Kentucky Colonel in 1984, Knight Masons of Ireland, Red Cross of Constantine, Holy Royal Arch Knight Templar Priests, Royal Order of Scotland, Allied Masonic Degrees, Knight Commander of the Red Branch of Eri, York Rite College (Order of the Purple Cross), OES LaBelle Chapter No. 414 & Union Port No. 360,  DeMolay (Past DD, Past Gov, Legion of Honor), Rainbow Girls (Grand cross of color), Order of St Thomas of Acon.
Arthur was predeceased by his parents, his wife Carol, daughter Rhonda Michael Stellrecht, grandson Zack Michael and great-grandaughter Reagan Rose Doyle.  He is survived by sons Douglas Michael (Jenn), Edward Michael (Peggy), 7 grandchildren, Ave Stone (Dan), Jeffrey Brown (Laura), Megan Brown, Angelina Michael, Kelley Michael (Dan), Hannah Willson (Justin), Emily Sparks (Jon) and 10 great-grandchildren.  The family would like to extend a special thanks to his granddaughter, Kelley Michael for the loving care and compassion she extended to her ‘Pap’ during the last several years.

She was a proud Marine wife. She was a girl scout leader as a junior leader, cadette leader, consultant for cadette and senior levels, day camp director, trainer for trainers. She was a troop leader with Four Rivers girl scout council and later with Black Diamond girl scout council. Was at Ohio State Fair as demo for Preps for living. She and her girls were ushers for merger from Four Rivers to Black Diamond in Charleston, WV. She was awarded the Girl Scout appreciation award along with her dear friend Mary Washington. The two friends also served many years in Stepping Stones for Ohio Valley College. She was recognized for her craft making of wedding and specialty cakes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Captain Harold J. Riley, a sister Lena Rector Knapp. A brother Harold "Gene" Rector. A grandson, Samuel Riley. She was a member of the Belpre Church of Christ since 1980. Services will be held on December 31, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre with Teddy Tackett officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:30 PM till 2:00 PM. Burial will be in the Evergreen South Cemetery.
