Bill graduated from Springfield High School in 1947 and proudly served his country in the U.S Army during the Korean War in the 44th and 28th Division Bands. He was employed in the Finance Department at Memorial Medical Center. Bill enjoyed making silver jewelry, woodworking, and growing flowers.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Myra Walker.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Simpson of Springfield; sons, David S. Simpson of Prairie du Chien, WI and Andrew Simpson of Springfield; daughters, Brenda De La Riva of Leavenworth, KS and Christine Szerletich of Springfield; grandchildren, Mary Wiggin, John M. De La Riva, Aaron Szerletich, Kayla De La Riva, Alex De La Riva, Zoe Wiggin, and Rowan Wiggin; four great-grandchildren; siblings, Betty Price of Benton, TX and Joyce Gutstein of Angola, IN; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a thank you the staff at Memorial Medical Center (2C-ICU, 2E and the Emergency Department) for the excellent care provided.
Cremation was provided by Lincoln Land Cremation Society.

She was a graduate of Easton High School, Class of 1941.
Felicia was an avid golfer, and enjoyed gardening and yardwork. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and homemaker. She and her grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed the numerous ocean cruises on which she would so generously take them all.
She is survived by a son, Barry Hajdu, of Harmony, NJ; a daughter, Camille (Hajdu) Kenyon and her husband Mark, of Harmony, NJ; grandchildren, Heather (Hajdu) Harvey, of Warwick, NY, Brian Hajdu, of Easton, PA, Eric Hajdu and his wife Bianca, of Brooklyn, NY, and Shane Kenyon and his wife Brittany, of Livermore, CA; great-grandchildren, Hannah Harvey, Grant Harvey, Samantha Hajdu, Alex Hajdu, Reese Hajdu and Ava Hajdu; a sister, Sara Picone, of Wilson Borough, PA; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Angeline Castronuova.

He is survived by his wife, Kayla Irvin of Chatham; son, James Tybirius Irvin of Chatham; and sister, Brandy Andrews of Norfolk, VA; mother-in-law, Kim Cress of Hillsboro; father-in-law, Brad Everett of Witt; two nieces; one nephew; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Cremation will be provided by Lincoln Land Cremation Society.

He was born in Drumheller and was one of 12 children.
He is pre-deceased by his parents, Oscar and Bertha; his wife, Doreen; 7 of his siblings and one daughter.
He will be lovingly remembered by his 4 children; 4 siblings along with many grandchildren and extended family.
Leonard worked for many years at Colgate-Palmolive before retiring when he was 55. Not one to sit still, he took up jobs to keep busy and active.
He was a member at several clubs including the Royal Canadian Legion, the Elks Club and the Calgary Curling Club.
Leonard was an avid golfer right up until this past summer. In the winter, he enjoyed curling. He loved playing and watching sports.
He was a quiet type, often preferring to listen than to talk. He liked to keep busy and maintained an active lifestyle. Leonard, endearingly known to friends as 'Smitty', was a wonderful role model to his children and grand-children and will be missed by many.
The Smith family is planning a private memorial for a later date.
