He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, James David Simpson, Owen Daniel Simpson, and Ronald Lee Simpson.
He was a truck driver for over 30 years. Timothy enjoyed riding motorcycles and horses. He loved camping, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren and family. She was preceded in death by her parents Harry Miller Sr. and Irene Jones Miller, Husband Wendell Radcliff; and Brother Harry Miller Jr.
She started her teaching career at Kokomo before coming to Paoli Community Schools in 1953 and continued to teach for 30 years. Anna Jean Glenn, known to her family and friends as Jeanie, 87, of Booneville, Indiana passed away peacefully at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville Indiana on Wednesday, April 6, 2022.
Jeanie was born on August 17, 1934, in Paoli, Indiana.
She was loved by many who enjoyed her kind heart, quick wit and strong will to endure the most difficult of situations.
Jeanie was preceded in death by her parents Lorene Scott Schriber and Parvin B. Schriber. Brothers, Robert (Bob) Schriber, Parvin (Bud) Schriber and Sisters, Nancy Jane Schriber, Evelyn Brinson, Pauline Dillard, Naomi Sorrell, Margie McBride and Jeanette Postin.
Numerous nieces and nephews survive Anna Jean Glenn.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM -1:00pm, Saturday, April 9, 2022 at the Dillman-Scott Funeral Home, located at 226 W. Campbell Street, Paoli, IN 47454. Interment will be in the Paoli Community Cemetery immediately following visitation.

Morris, 87, of Paoli, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2022, at Memorial Hospital & Health Care Center in Jasper, Indiana.  He was born on May 22, 1934, in Paoli, Indiana to Harold and Ethel Morris. His second marriage was to Gloria Morris in 1982 and she preceded him in death.
He served his country in the Air Force for 12 years and was a Korean War veteran.  Don retired from JI Case Power after spending many years in the desert of Phoenix, Arizona dreaming of returning to his beloved Paoli.  In 2000, his dream was realized and he and his wife retired there.
Don loved to be outside gardening or tinkering in his garage.  He also loved NASCAR and college basketball.
He is survived by daughters Tammi and Wendy Morris of San Diego, California, son Tim Morris of Phoenix Arizona, brothers Rex Morris, Harold Morris Jr., and sisters, Brenda King and Kay Davidson of Paoli, Indiana, as well as many other beloved family members.

Betty married Max Jones on July 3, 1948, and he preceded her in death.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Max Jones, granddaughter Kelly Jean Jones, brothers Charles Hamilton and Franklin Hamilton, and sister Mary Hamilton Colglazier.
She was a 1948 graduate of Campbellsburg High School, Betty worked at Paoli Park and Shop Grocery, Miller’s Clothing, Paoli Bargain Center, and Paoli Jay C Store. She retired from the Salem Jay C Store in 1991. Betty was a member of the Livonia Baptist Church. She was a member of the Paoli First Baptist Church. Dorothy formerly worked as a Certified Nurse Aid in Home Health Care. She enjoyed dancing, going to yard sales, and spending time with family. Obituary Preview: Paul Matthew “Matt” Henderson, 47, Paoli, IN passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022.  He was born in Bedford, IN on January 22, 1974, to David and Betty Jo Henderson.  He married his high school sweetheart, Catherine McBride Henderson, on April 8, 1995. He was preceded in death by his parents.  He graduated from Orleans Jr-Sr High school in 1992.  Upon graduation, he followed his father’s footsteps.  He was blessed to work beside him for many years, at Henderson Heating & Cooling in Orleans.  Later, he pursued a career with Walker Mechanical for over 20 years and finally Hussung Mechanical, both in Louisville, Ky.  During his career, he attained numerous licenses and credentials including Master Plumbing Contractor and Master Plumbing License (IN, KY, TN).  He was also active in the UA 502 Plumbers & Pipefitters, where he served on the Disciplinary Board. He was a member of Paoli United Methodist Church where he served as youth leader, President of the Trustees and President of Pastor-Parish.  He also attended Paoli Christian Church.  He was extremely active and giving to his community, serving on the Orange County Council as President and Vice President, Patoka Lake Regional Water Board, and the Orleans Volunteer Fire Department.  He was a member of Masonic Lodge #119.  Matt loved his children and was actively involved in their lives.  He was on the Lost River Career Coop Board, Jr. High Golf Coach, President of Paoli Youth Football League and coached virtually every sport one of his children wanted to try or pick up.  Anybody who knew Matt, knew one thing.  Love.  To know him, you loved him.  He loved life, his family, his children and his grandchildren.  One of his greatest joys was rocking his grandchildren, regardless of the time of day. Matt will be remembered for his love of the outdoors.  He thoroughly enjoyed his time on the water with family and friends and in the woods with his sons. Melvin was a member of the Paoli Christian Church. He was a retired educator with the Paoli and Orleans School Systems, after 31 years. Melvin was also a farmer and painter.

Steve Cole - July 18, 1948 - December 22, 2021

Stephen Douglas “Steve” Cole I, Paoli, passed away December 22,2021. He was born on July 18, 1948, to Custer and Dorothy Cole in Louisa, KY. Steve was raised in Hamlet, IN where he created life-long friends, graduating from Oregon-Davis High School in 1966. After high school, Steve followed in his father’s footsteps and voluntarily enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and spent his 19th birthday in Vietnam. His MOS (job) was AM-Trac Crew Chief. He received two purple hearts as a result of combat injuries.
He returned to Indiana in 1968 and met Rhonda Lynn Stoneburner and made her his wife on December 7, 1969. He married her on Pearl Harbor Day, stating he’d never forget their anniversary that way.
Steve and Rhonda moved to Orange County, Indiana in 1974. A month later, Steve and Rhonda welcomed a daughter, Sheila Diane, and two years later a son, Stephen Douglas II.
Steve went on to purchase Internal Honing Service in Paoli and successfully ran a thriving business until his retirement in 2013. Steve and Rhonda were avid travelers and visited all 48 states in the continental US in their traveling years. Steve was a friend to many, rarely passing up the opportunity for a good time, a fun-spirited prank, or an opportunity to tell a dirty joke or two. Steve will fondly be remembered for his trivia prowess and his uncanny ability to remember everyone’s birthday.
In 1998, Sheila married Ray (Brown) and often said he couldn’t have hand-picked a better son-in-law.
In 2005, Steve became a proud grandpa to Katrina, and he considered it the best title he ever had. He doted on Katrina often and took joy in sharing a love of percussion and drumming with her.
Steve is preceded in death by his parents, his younger brothers David and Robert, and his dear son Steve, who we lost in 2018.
He was a member of the Paoli Masonic Lodge # 119 F & AM.
Steve is survived by his wife of 52 years Rhonda, daughter Sheila (Brown), son-in-law Ray Brown, and beloved granddaughter Katrina Brown. Also surviving are Steve’s older brother Michael Cole, his niece Rebecca Cole, sister-in-law Connie Cole, and nephew Austin Cole.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 30, 2021, at the Dillman-Scott Funeral Home, located at 226 W. Campbell Street, Paoli, IN 47454. Visitation services will be from 11:00AM-2:00 PM, Thursday, with a Masonic Service to follow at 2:00 PM. Face Mask will be required. We ask everyone practice social distancing.
