Robert "Bob" Louis Imgarten - August 18, 1928 - June 22, 2023

Departed: 06/22/2023 (Perry)
Obituary Preview: Farmer and lifelong resident of Noble County, Robert “Bob” Louis Imgarten, 94, died on Thursday, June 22, 2023, at his home in Perry, Okla. He was born August 18, 1928, on the family farm in Red Rock, Okla., to Louis and Agnus (Shultz) Imgarten.
Bob spent his childhood on his family’s farm in rural Noble County. In 1937 at age nine, he drove a tractor for the first time and never looked back. At the time he couldn’t plow a straight row with the steel-wheeled Allis Chalmers tractor, but it was still enough for him to know he wanted to continue the family tradition of farming.
Bob attended Pleasant Valley Country School for eight years before transitioning to Perry High School, where he joined FFA, raised a few cows and sheep as FFA projects, and earned his State FFA Degree. He graduated from Perry High School in 1946 and married Rita Barbara Dauman on April 23, 1950. He and Rita spent the next 43 years raising their three sons on the farm near Red Rock before retiring from farming in 1993 and moving to town shortly thereafter. But staying true to the old saying “once a farmer, always a farmer,” Bob continued to drive out to the farm every day where he still had a few cows, zipped around the farm and dirt roads on his Allis-Chalmers D19 tractor, and tended to his large garden. In the summertime, one could guarantee there was always a crisp, cold watermelon waiting for you in the trusty old chicken house refrigerator. His garden always seemed to produce an abundance of cucumbers, and he often had full sacks ready to give away to friends, neighbors, and even strangers.
He enjoyed spending time fishing with the grandsons when they were young, and it wasn’t unusual to see a few catfish in the cattle stock tank after a long day trekking up and down Red Rock Creek. You could often find Bob in the small wash house at the farm with his feet up taking a nap or watching his old TV with only four channels and bunny-ear antennas. If he wasn’t there, he was likely sitting on a 5-gallon bucket under the shade tree with a buddy solving all the world’s problems or driving around “checking the crops” and visiting with neighbors.
Bob spent many hours representing the agriculture and farming communities through his service on both the Red Rock Farmers Co-op Board and the Perry Farmers Co-op Board. He also served more than 50 years on the Red Rock Conservancy Board of Directors.
He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Rita, of the home; sons, Mickey Imgarten of Madill, Okla.; Tom Imgarten (Jane) of Red Rock; and Ted Imgarten of Perry; grandsons, Michael Imgarten (Tammy) of Sacramento, Calif.; Wilton Imgarten (Becca) of Red Rock; and Steven Imgarten (Becky) of Stillwater, Okla.; and granddaughters, Mandy Bradley (Jon) of Dallas, Texas; and Jerri Whitley (Brandon) of Ness City, Kan. His seven great-grandchildren are Mason, Lucas, and Madeline Bradley of Dallas, Texas; Bryson Imgarten of Sacramento, Calif.; Kinsley and Landon Imgarten of Red Rock; and Ethan Imgarten of Stillwater. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Dorothy McKee; and daughter-in-law Marylee Imgarten.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 25, from 3 to 6 p.m., with family greeting guests from 4-6pm, at Dighton-Marler Funeral Home (203 Fir Street, Perry). The funeral service is Monday, June 26, at 10 a.m., Dighton-Marler Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery (615 15th Street, Perry).
Condolences may be sent to the family via an online guestbook at www.dightonmarler.com.

Kyle Warren Kime - June 03, 1953 - March 27, 2023

Departed: 03/27/2023 (Perry)
Obituary Preview: Kyle Warren Kime, age 69, joyfully ran into the loving arms of his Savior and beloved wife, Elaine, on March 27, 2023 after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Dighton-Marler Funeral Home of Perry have been entrusted with his care and funeral arrangements.
Kyle was born on June 3, 1953 to Clyde and Lois (Ellis) Kime in Hayward, Oklahoma where he spent the first 5 years of his childhood. In 1958 the family moved to Perry where Kyle became a lifelong resident. At the young age of 9, he discovered his passion and divine gift for cars by putting his first carburetor together for fun. To say that Kyle was a genius when it came to mechanics is an understatement as most of you know.
As a teenager, Kyle worked at the old 89’ers gas station. It was there that he met the love of his life, Elaine. The two were married on July 17, 1973 at his parents home. To this union one child, a daughter, Julie Kate was born and instantly became the center of their universe. For 22 years Kyle and Elaine shared a life of love, devotion and happiness until Elaine’s sudden and unexpected death in 1995. His daughter once asked him why he never dated or wanted to remarry. Kyle’s response was, “I made a vow to your momma, “till death do us part, and I’m still here”. That’s just the kind of man he was. Kyle grieved for his wife terribly for 27 years until their beautiful reunion in Heaven!
In October of 2000 he found purpose again with the birth of his first and only grandson, Teaguen Kyle Wilson. A few years later his heart was made whole again with the arrival of his two granddaughter’s, Brylie MaRay and Cami Elaine Wilson. His three grandbabies were everything to him, his happiness, his peace, his pride and his purpose. They could do no wrong, and it’s safe to say they felt the same way about their Pa-Pa! He loved them beyond measure.
He loved his future son-in-law, Robbie Frazier very much. He and Robbie would spend countess hours talking about cars, drag racing, and which was faster, the Chevelle or the Leg’ Charger. He was very proud of the man Robbie was and the way he cared for Julie and his grandbabies. Kyle was excited to soon call him and his two sons, Garrett and Cameron his family. If you were blessed enough to know Kyle, then you truly knew one of God’s angels on earth. He was unarguably one of the most caring, loving, generous, kind-hearted, gentle, selfless humans ever born. The world would be a much better place if more “Kyle Kime’s” existed. He will be loved, missed and remembered every single day!
Kyle is survived by his daughter, Julie Kime, future son-in-law, Robbie Frazier both of the home; three grandchildren, Teaguen Kyle Wilson, Brylie MaRay Wilson, and Cami Elaine Wilson; one sister, Sherry Brand and husband Herb of Perry; two brothers, Larry Kime of Perry, and Terry Kime of Orlando. Numerous nieces, nephews, & cousins; and his childhood friend, Ron Williams of Stillwater(whom his considered a brother).
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine; twin brother, Keith; parents and four grandparents.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at 2PM at Grace Hill Cemetery in Perry with Steve Kime officiating. Visitation will be Monday, April 3, 2023 from 9AM to 5PM at Dighton-Marler Funeral Home, Perry.
The family request memorial donations be made directly to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
