He was born Tuesday, August 8, 1952, in Lewis County, Kentucky, a son of the late Ira and Dorothy Bloomfield Pierce.
He enjoyed visiting his friends, working puzzles, building model cars and riding his bicycle.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Pierce and Locker Pierce.
He is survived by three brothers, Clyde Pierce of Maysville, Kentucky, Chester Pierce of Portsmouth, Ohio, Moddy Pierce of Morhead, Kentucky; three sisters, Rhonda Pierce of Garrison, Kentucky, Adenna Henry of Maysville, Kentucky and Judy Cress of Bucyrus, Ohio, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Tuesday, May 7. 2024, at Dickerson Funeral Home, 110 West Second Street, Vanceburg, Kentucky with Brother Chris Lawhun officiating. Burial will follow in the Liles Cemetery in Lewis County.

He was born Monday, January 7, 1946, in Lewis County, Kentucky, the son of the late Russell and Eliza Griffitt Miracle.
Jim proudly served his country in the United State Army and was honored with a Bronze Star and a Purple Heart. He was retired from N & S Railroad and enjoyed playing cards, watching NASCAR races.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Pete Miracle, Donnie Miracle and one sister, Helen Rankins.
Left to cherish Jim’s memories are his loving wife of 58 years, Shirley Legge Miracle; two sons, Kirk Miracle and Kenny (Brenda) Miracle; four grandchildren, James, Kendra (Brandan), Kirk Jr., and Jarett; two great-grandchildren, Mila and Jessamine, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss him.

Wilson enjoyed going to church, playing rook, hunting and going out to eat.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Presley Moore; two brothers, Adrian Moore and Omer Moore; three sisters, Shirley Wright, Juanita McCane and Barb Dyer.
He is survived by two brothers, Arnold (Judy) Moore of Wallingford, Kentucky and Allen (Mary) Moore of Mayslick, Kentucky; one sister, Geneva Brown of Vanceburg, Kentucky; many nieces and nephews, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Monday, April 1, 2024, at Dickerson Funeral Home, 110 West Second Street, Vanceburg, Kentucky, with Brother Kent Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Tollesboro.

He was born April 28, 1952, in Lewis County, Kentucky, a son of the late Grover and Gladys Pollitt McCann.
He proudly served his country in the United States Army and later served as a deputy sheriff for 9 years and was a lifelong farmer. He enjoyed raising tobacco for many years and anything to do with cattle.
Gaye which he was known as by most of his friends and family, was a true man of God and had a love for the Lord like no other. He had a heart of pure gold and a smile that could light up a room. He was always willing to help others, no matter the need and never met a stranger or someone he didn’t welcome with open arms. His love for his family and friends, especially his wife, children and grandchildren couldn’t be matched. Words can not express how deeply he will be missed.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Harold Edward McCann, Harry Jack McCann, Kenneth “Toots” McCann and Robert “Bob” McCann.
He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Bonnie Blankenship McCann; one son, Chad (April) McCann of Vanceburg, Kentucky; two daughters, Sabrina (Scott) Osman of Blue Creek, Ohio, Kendra (David) Chappelow of Vanceburg, Kentucky; seven grandchildren, Shayla Osman, Stephanie Osman (Drew Cluxton), Jacob McCann, Peyton Gum, Austin Grayson, Levi (Madison) Chappelow, Mattison (Austin) Walters; three great-grandchildren, Mason Mercer, Kanton Chappelow, Piper Walters; four brothers, Wendell (Arlene) McCann of Maysville, Kentucky, Tom (Janice) McCann of Vanceburg, Kentucky, Phil (Karen) McCann of Marion, Ohio, Howard (Barbara) McCann of Dayton, Ohio; six sisters, Carolyn (David) Scott of Seaman, Ohio, Bonita (James ) Applegate of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, Kathy (Bill) Williams of Olive Hill, Kentucky, Lula Mae Ash, Vickie (Denny) Beckett all of Larue, Ohio and Delma “Debbie” Stone of Gilbrater, Michigan, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss him.

Bonnie Rae Stamm Howell - July 23, 1933 - February 07, 2024

Obituary Preview: Bonnie Rae “Stamm” Howell, age 90, of Bucyrus, Ohio passed away February 7, 2024, peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Bonnie was born July 23, 1933, to the late Claude Henry Stamm and Nellie “Thurman” Stamm. On August 11, 1956, Bonnie married her first-grade sweetheart, Gene Howell, and they enjoyed 66 years together until his death on March 22, 2023. Along with Gene and her parents she was also proceeded in death by her brother Ellsworth Stamm and her grandson, Samuel W. Howell. Bonnie is survived by her four sons, Stanlee B. Howell, Aaron K. (Sharon) Howell, Harold R. (Melanie) Howell, and Wesley C. Howell, all of Bucyrus, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, extended family and many friends.
Bonnie received a teaching certificate from Morehead State University, and taught school at Covedale, Kentucky before moving to Ohio and teaching at Sulphur Springs. In addition to raising her family, she and her husband Gene, built and operated Foxfire Campground for many years. Bonnie enjoyed bowling, square dancing, sewing, traveling, and watching the Kentucky Wildcats Basketball. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and was a direct descendant of Colonel William Crawford. Bonnie was of Christian faith and attended Wayside Chapel. Visiting hours will be at Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home, Sunday February 11, from 12PM-2PM and again at the Dickerson Funeral Home in Vanceburg Kentucky, Monday February 12, from 1PM-3PM with the service to follow at 3PM. Burial will be at Lewis County Memory Gardens in Black Oak, Kentucky. The Family suggests memorials be made to Wayside Chapel, 2341 Kerstetter Rd., Bucyrus Ohio or to Avita Hospice. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse J. Murphy; brother, Fred Angel Jr.; two half brothers, Ben Cotton and Jesse Cotton; three sisters, Janet McGlone, Violet Smith and Louise Clausing.
Anna Lee traveled extensively across the United States with her husband, Major Jesse J. Murphy, USA retired. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, she loved each and everyone there. She enjoyed walking with her friends, shopping, attending cookouts, in the summer with her family.
She leaves behind many nieces and nephews whom loved her dearly, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss her.
