She was born on September 24, 1932 in Shippensburg, a daughter of the late Ross and Goldie (Andrew) Walker.
Carolyn was a 1951 graduate of the Chambersburg High School. She enjoyed crafting, sewing, gardening, and loved caring for her grandchildren. Carolyn was a member of the Orrstown United Brethren Church.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth A. Stouffer of Chambersburg; three daughters, Donna M. (David) McClure of Chambersburg, Deborah L. (James) Robinson of Chambersburg, and Cheryl A. (Larry) Rotz of Shippensburg; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth W. Stouffer; one great-grandson, Cody High; one brother, Ross V. Walker; and one sister, Nancy Wenger.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Pastor James R. Martin will officiate. There will be no public viewing.

Obituary Preview: Jerome "Jerry" S. Bishop, age 83, of Sheboygan, died on Tuesday, September 14, 2017 at Aurora Medical Center, Grafton. He was born in Kewanee, WI on August 6, 1934, the son of the late Joseph and Esther Kraemer Bishop.
Jerry attended local schools and graduated from Sheboygan North High School in 1953. He then enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served his country during the Korean War. In 1956, he married Irene (Kruis) Schmitt. On September 20, 1997, Jerry married Barbara Warburton.
He was employed as a machinist at Wilman Industries in Cedar Grove for many years until his retirement. Jerry was a member of First United Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. He earned his 2nd Degree black belt in Karate and also Sensei (teacher). Jerry was proud of his Native American heritage and traced it to the Hunkpapa Sioux Indian Tribe.
He will be remembered most for his love of family and his wonderful sense of humor.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara, of Sheboygan; three children, Deb (Tom) Ashworth, of Lady Lake, FL, Kathie (Steve) Cupp, of Sheboygan, Steve (Mary) Bishop, of Puyallup, WA; ten grandchildren, Jennifer (Brian) Tutt, Matt (Kristin) Ashworth, Brett (Rachel) Ashworth, Nick (Jenna) Ashworth, Joe (Gina) Ashworth, Amy Ashworth, Chris (Rachelle) TeStroote, Cory (Melinda) TeStroote, Nichole Bishop and Mandy Bishop, and 21 great-grandchildren. He is further survived by a brother-in-law, Richard (Judy) Warburton and a mother-in-law, Katherine Warburton. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, a father-in-law, Earl Warburton, a brother, Benedict Bishop and a sister, Mary Jo Wollin.
A memorial service for Jerry will be held on Monday, September 18, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at the Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th St., Sheboygan with Rev. Todd Smith officiating. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Monday morning from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. VFW Post 9156 will be providing full military honors.
