KATHRYN TAYLOR - September 08, 1944 - November 18, 2021

Departed: 11/18/2021 (Jerome)
Obituary Preview: Kathryn Wilding Taylor, a longtime resident of Kimberly, ID, passed away Thursday, November 18, 2021.
Kathy was a loving friend, sister, aunt, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Kathy didn’t see walls or status, she saw people. So many were influenced by her love and compassion, but none more than her own family. Her children and grandchildren knew that Mom, or GMA T, wouldn’t judge them for their follies, but she would expect them to own the mistake, lean on her, and get back in the game.
Kathy was born September 18, 1944, to Cecil and Laura Wilding. Kathy joined her older brother Lynn, and they were joined by Carla. Kathy learned to love to work from her father and mother and passed the trait on to her children and grandkids.
Kathy married Thomas “Tuck” Taylor, the love of her life, on June 6, 1962, in Jerome, ID. The marriage was later solemnized in the Boise, ID Temple. Tuck brought a son to the marriage, Thomas, and Kathy and Tuck added three more children, Dale, Jill, and Glenn.
Tuck and Kathy moved to Kimberly, ID in 1968, put down roots, and never left. They were involved in the community. Kathy served the community in many ways and for many years. Kathy was the chairman of Kimberly Good Neighbor Days for many years, often enlisting Tuck’s help. She loved the community, recognized the importance of giving back, and taught her family this was a responsibility all shared.
Mom’s world turned upside down in July of 2009 when Dad passed away. She’d lost her companion and number one supporter and she needed to redirect her love. Mom found joy in serving others and shared her love with so many. Mom’s last years were tough as she fought a sinus tumor and ALS. She wasn’t able to eat or drink but she insisted her family get together every month for dinner. She would watch us all eat and just beam when we were together. Kathryn is preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Laura Wilding, her in-laws, Fern and Robert Taylor, and her Eternal Companion Tuck. She is survived by her children, Thomas of Twin Falls, Dale (Julie) of Hansen, Jill Quaintance (Mark) of Kimberly, and Glenn (Wendy) of Burley, 20 grandchildren, and 30 great-grandchildren (2 more coming soon!)
A viewing will be held on Saturday, Nov. 27, 2021, from 9:30 am until 10:45 am at the Kimberly Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3850 N. 3500 E. Kimberly, ID.  Funeral services will follow at 11:00 at the church.  Burial will be held at the Jerome Cemetery with the Grave Dedication being given at 2:00 pm.  Services are under the care and direction of Demaray’s Jerome Memorial Chapel.

MALAKI RAY HUTCHERSON - August 09, 2004 - October 24, 2021

Departed: 10/24/2021 (Jerome)
Obituary Preview: Malaki Ray Hutcherson,17, passed away on October 24, 2021.
Malaki was born on August 9, 2004, and from the moment he entered the world, he did everything with love. He has always been a fun-loving, sweet, goofy, sometimes mischievous, wonderful human. He cared deeply and loved unendingly. He had a unique gift and could easily make anyone his best friend. If you knew Malaki, you felt his love. He loved nature, rocks, and animals. Malaki had a lifelong passion for fishing. It was actually in his DNA, and he was widely known as the “fish whisperer.” The kid could literally catch a fish out of a mud puddle and then brag about it. The world is at a loss, even for those who didn’t know him. His love, humor, and sly smile were infectious to be around. He was the life of the party, even if the party was his family. He was loved and cherished by everyone who knew him and enjoyed special relationships with each and every person in his life.
A large family is left behind including his parents; Jason Hutcherson and Tamara (Charlie Laub), grandparents; Terri and Alan Hill, Carmen Logan, and Danny Hutcherson, his many loving siblings; Dakota Ramirez, Jason (Ally) Ramirez, Jayden Metcalf, Kiara Metcalf, Sara Laub, Jayven Laub, Drake Laub, Haylee Hutcherson, and Xander Hutcherson. He was an awesome uncle to his nieces; Rylinn Wehowsky, Olivia Wehowsky, Amani Ramirez, and nephew; Nikko  Ramirez, also numerous cherished aunts and uncles, beloved cousins, so many best and close friends, and lots of fishing buddies.
Malaki was preceded in death by his aunt, Kandise Barnes, and cousin Tommy ‘Bud’ Logan.
It is hard to have words for such an enormous loss, though we would like to give special thanks to every person who loved and cared for Malaki. Each person impacted him and helped turn him into the person who we all treasure dearly.
The viewing for Malaki will start at 10 am Saturday, October 30, at Demaray's Jerome Memorial  Chapel in Jerome with services to follow at 1 pm. There will be a dinner for family and friends held at the Jerome Elks Lodge at 2:30 pm.

I’M FREE Don’t grieve for me for now I’m free, I’m following the path God laid for me I took his hand when I heard him call, I turned my back and left it all I could not stay another day, To laugh, to love, to work or play Tasks left undone must stay that way, I’ve found that peace at the close of day If my parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joy A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, Ah yes, these things I too will miss Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish for you the sunshine of tomorrow My life’s been full, I’ve savored much, Good friends, good times, my loved one’s touch If my time seemed all too brief, Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief Lift up your heart, rejoice with me,
God wanted me now, He set me free. © 1974, 2021 Anne Lindgren Davison

LIBORIO TORRES ROMERO ~ JUSTINO MACEDO ~ - September 03, 1957 - July 14, 2021

Departed: 07/14/2021 (Jerome)
Obituary Preview: Liborio Torres Romero aka Justino Macedo sadly passed on July 14, 2021.
To those that knew him, they will always remember him as being a hard worker.  A person that his employers could always rely on.
His family knew him as a strong, funny, storytelling, yet quiet man.  He loved playing volleyball with his family – he would always put a wicked spin on his serve and just smile when he aced it to which his daughter Maria could be heard saying A Pa, swimming – his face lit up his first time seeing Lake Michigan, raising baby calves with his children Maria, Reyes, Natalia, and Dee, BBQ’s or anywhere that had good food, and he loved when he got into the racing scene over at the Magic Valley Speedway.  He was known to all in the racing world as Mad Mex #10.  Racing was a way that the entire family was able to be together.  There was not a Saturday night that he didn’t race, or we were not at the racetrack.  Justino was able to pass his love of racing to his son Reyes and that love continues to this day.
His proudest moments were when he was able to put his family together.  He was quiet most of the time, but he would light up when he was with his children and grandchildren.  He leaves behind his children Maria Duque Torres, Agustin Duque, Dee Fleck Reyes Macedo, and Natalia Macedo.  His grandchildren Jose, Teresa, Francisco, Amalia, Grace, Betsy, Kelly, Jose, Cohen, Peyton, and Angel as well as 9 great-grandchildren.  His brother Candido Rodriguez as well as his sisters Paula and Maribel in Mexico.  The person he connected with was his mom back home on the ranch in Mexico, as they would video chat every day. The family would like to invite those that would like to join to a viewing on Thursday 7/22/21 4PM to 7PM
There will be a service as well on Saturday 7/24/21 at 3 PM– we ask that no one wear black as his favorite color was Blue – anything bright would be asked as this is a Celebration of his life.  Bring stories if you have them – we would like to all hear and share in them.
